Do all MP maps in a single DLC relate to the same areas/locations? If the map is called 'Rise' = Land of the Rising Sun? Shi No Numa was called the 'Rising Sun Facility' wasn't it?

The area in Town, there is a shop called 'Rare Books' with magazines in the window front. The same magazines can be found at the Bus Depot inside the spawn room. Edit - Refer OP

I was also thinking too soon.......& Fukushima was miles away from any city like what you see in the pic. Then again, Green Run had no resemblance of being at a Nuclear Site (apart from Hazardous waste containers & such) Theres more story speculating this than in Green Run :lol:

Tac! Bring me the file!) Going along the lines of Japan & looking at the other Multiplayer Maps shown, particularly 'Mirage', it has to be Japan? Is that how MP DLC works? Same type of map/textures for each DLC? I don't play MP so I'm unsure. (there's also what looks to be a helicopter at the top in the middle of the mirage picture?) Mirage What if it's something such as the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant disaster? That was caused by an earthquake & then was hit by the subsequent Tsunami aswell I believe? Goes along the lines of Distasters the Bus Driver mentions??? Earthquakes, Tsunami's, Volcano's????

I think that Black Ops 2 Zombies is all about the Nuclear Age. What time frame? No idea, don't really care. Green Run & Nuketown are, so why not the rest? I do like Matuzz' idea of Japan? Since the Plutonium for the 'Fatman' Bomb was produced at the Hanford Site & was one of the bombs that was dropped on Japan. (I mean no offense if that is sensitive to anyone on CoDz) Either way, I don't care. I just want a good TranZit Map with heaps of juicy story!

The picture in the bar is the painting of "The Tower of Babel" I have heard about the Pyramid that you are talking about but have never seen it myself. Also try to have pictures when you start a thread, it stops people not believing you & gives your thread more credibility.

I dunno but Thunder Gun was located in Hong Kong in Black Ops campaign. And Japanese had manufactured the Ray Gun, Maxis used the Japanese blueprints to build own version. True. Maybe they will reuse the textures of that/those maps? And consider the following. Green Run is our current/previous map located at the Hanford Site, Washington State, USA The site was home to the B Reactor, the first full-scale plutonium production reactor in the world. Plutonium manufactured at the site was used in the first nuclear bomb, tested at the Trinity site, and in Fat Man, the bomb detonated over Nagasaki, Japan. Japan could be the "carrion" (hehe) of the Nuclear Age Era within the storyline?

I finally got to play a game today (first game all month) & the update got rid of the 'No Fog Feature' in theatre mode. Noooooo. I knew I should of taken more screenshots!!!!! (it's the 'Train Station', just what BirdDogDan was talking about!!!!! jokes) @ CrazyTrain. Yes it is featured in the Trailer. I think that the trailer holds still many hints about different aspects of this map. Dunno about furthering the EE though. I think it's more to do with the Transportation of the Nuclear/Hazardous waste? Possibly the Denizens aswell as we talked about in a thread that needs revisiting.

No. Rise means "Erhebung". (or since it is related to zombies "Auferstehung". "They rise from their graves." "Sie erheben sich aus ihren Gräbern." So the map would be called: "Die Auferstehung" If the "Die" would actually mean "The" but I think it doesn't. I knew I should of asked my partner in crime & German correspondent! Thanks Lenne! I bought BO2 Hardened Ed aswell & I've been contemplating the same thing. The BO2 Website says "Buy now save $10" What! So I save $2.50 per map pack? & I got scammed for Exclusive Nuketown? Who knows if H.E. buyers will get a "Free" download like BO1? After being 'Jibbed' for the Nuketown preorder, I think Activision arnt going to give anything away? But who knows? (in Australia on XBOX, Season Pass is $65.00)

YES! I haven't completed either side yet, though I played a game with Way2g00 & another person who had completed the other side (different side to Way2g00) & the Tower shoots BOTH RED & BLUE lines up the tower. Pretty! :shock:

There's some great points being made in this thread! I feel that it's not just a 'copy' or homage to the original 'Prototype' (But I'm not sold either way) I think 3arc now have enough Storyline to include the map (that had no storyline) into our 'Accumulating Storyline' That's my biggest disappointment with BO2 Zombies, there's not enough evidence of anything to develop ideas? I've said it before, there will be some MAJOR plot twists in BO2, we are only in the middle of our story & so much more will unfold in DLC.

Great Question ZombicidalManiac! Maybe the CDC/CIA playable characters during Grief/Survival have no inclusion to the actual storyline? Maybe not. Do you think 3arc thought of this as the community would ask questions such as this? Its possible that they are there prior to our Green Run Characters simply because we always end up Dieing? The only way to 'Survive' is to Teleport? (which we never see)
