I'm glad this is creating a discussion & points can be made both for & against. As history shows & is factual in real life, the Nazi party was heavily funded by heads of major financial & industrial corporations from America & other countries. (google "who funded the Nazi Party/Third Reich" - this is no longer just a conspiracy theory) Also refer "Operation Paperclip" Many of these people had either German/Aryian heritage or just financial interests for self promotion. Another type of 'Metephor' I've always thought followed the story of Dr Maxis & Dr Richtofen is that of the illumanti. From what i understand the original 'Bavarian Illumanti' was established by influential leaders TO "Improve the Human Condition" - Maxis Intentions. Whereas, the 'New World Order Illumanti' is just for self preservation/promotion - Dr Richtofen's intentions. (don't quote me on any of this, I'm way out of my league. hahahaha) Back to our Game! While I'm fully aware of ALL the radios/reels & other documentation in-game (I think I have a solid grasp of the storyline) these are the only references in which we can understand the story. We are at a point in which what we think is the correct story, may take major plot twists. We have been introduced to the mysterious 'Abigail' & her background purpose will only unfold. Another thing to speculate would be why Dr Maxis calls the tower a 'Spire' & Dr Richtofen refers to it as an 'Obelisk?' Spire A spire is a tapering conical or pyramidal structure on the top of a building, particularly a church tower. Etymologically, the word is derived from the Old English word spir, meaning a sprout, shoot, or stalk of grass. (Currently, the largest spire to be part of the architecture of another building is the spire mounted on the recently completed Q1 residential tower on the Gold Coast in Australia. - Off Topic, this is about half an hour away from me) Obelisk An obelisk (from Greek ὀβελίσκος - obeliskos, diminutive of ὀβελός - obelos, "spit, nail, pointed pillar") is a tall, four-sided, narrow tapering monument which ends in a pyramid-like shape at the top, and is said to resemble a petrified ray of the sun-disk. Thoughts?

I'm sorry I didn't comment on that awesome post in the Nuketown thread. It really blew me away how well you wrote & documented it. Regarding the screenshots of the towers, there are actually 4, possibly 5 all within sight from the backyard. I took some screenshots but havent been able to get time to upload them. (I'll be away for the weekend so Monday afternoon I shall do it) If you watch a no-clip video of Nuketown BO1, they show heaps of towers, I'll just have to compare their locations. I don't think its very important, only if you want to pinpoint the location of Nuketown? I think it will all come out it the wash as the story unfolds. Once again, well done on the analysis Tac.

Oh yeah it's definitely attached to a spacecraft of some type. Thanks to Mac, Tac & Mix who pointed that out. With regards to the tower link, I dont think I can explain it well enough, but the ORNL (Oak Ridge National Laboritory) Bare reactor was used on the BREN Tower at Jackass Flats Since the 1962 experiment, the tower has been used for many other scientific purposes: to study data on shielding against radiation, neutron activation in soil, and radiation measuring techniques. The linear accelerator was designed and fabricated by Oak Ridge National Laboratory in cooperation with the Armed Force Radiobiology Research Institute and the AEC's controlled thermonuclear research program. The fusion reaction was used to obtain 14 million-electron-volt neutrons. The accelerator was installed on the tower in much the same manner as was the BREN unshielded research reactor and large cobalt-60 gamma radiation source. The ORNL Bare reactor resembles the loading screen machine, this is why I said I think it has something to do with being a 'Particle Accelerator'

Good find there Rissole. I have H.E. too & never noticed that. Someone's made a mistake. @ Zelkova Both Rissole & myself live in Australia, I don't think the Hardened Edition even sold out here? Back on topic. Lets solve this! Hopefully I'm really a starting to think this is some type of 'Partical Accelerator'. Element 115 was formed/found by bombarding americium-243 with calcium-48 ions. think of this machine doing the opposite. Seeing the zombie in the left corner 'worshipping' this device, think of it like being like a monkey bomb, he is attracted to it. I wonder if thing is going to extract E115 from him? IDK? Thoughts?

Just remember to turn on the power! PaP don't work without the power turned on. I placed the turbine at the AK74u, jumped back on the bus, the vault door was open! I built the PaP, used all my ammo went to PaP, "You must activate the power". What a noob. I learnt the hard way. :lol:

+1 on that deathb4di2h0nor. The fact that you get no Perks nor a weapon after completing it is the only thing that makes me think that it's not finished. The uproar from Acension, to Tank's quote after the Moon EE. "We blow up the Earth & this is all we get?" All you get are random "Power Up Drops" under the tower. Unless 3arc are trolling to make everyone think it's not finished?

I've (aswell as everbody else) have had multiple games where on MY screen 1, 2 or 3 people start with the navcard icon next to their pointscore. This will be different for ALL other players. My screen may show 2 people have them, someone else's screen will show a different combination of people have them. After certain events (I'm not completley certain what influencce's it) ALL 4 people have the Navcard Icon. I think one event is when you revive someone else, if the downed person does not have an icon and the person that revives them does have an icon, this may transfer over. As I said, I'm not completley certain as to what events activate this, just throughout the game I've noticed that if we start with say 2 icons, after a certain time there will be 3 shown & then ALL players have them. (I'm yet to get to the tower once all players show icons)

Way2g00 is on my friends list, he has all but nearly wiped out the entire Zombie outbreak himself, yet only has the Standard Shield, 5 Tally Marks & Skull with Blue Eyes. I highly doubt that the ranking system would have anything to do with completing all secrets. It's a rank, surely it does not unlock any special ability? (although Blue Eyes might be an ability?) that would be completely s**t. I think the secrets lie within each character. Each character may have a certain ability or 'skill' that they can interact with different objects within the map. Figuring out what they are is the 'commitment'

As MMX stated, it would be pretty cool pointing to the Purple Meteor/Rock, But I think that the postcard is folded in half & it's just the blue watermarked run of the Bus Terminal. The 'Sedan' Picture - I think that screenshot was a photo I took on my phone the first day I had the game. I have a capture card so I'll try to get a better picture. Thanks for telling me about the one in the Jugg building. I've only seen those pics at the bus terminal & on the big billboard. The small writing is impossible to make any sense of. Even in the game you can't read it. The text underneath the 'sedan' word says something like 'a seriously new way of moving' IDK I can't read that picture? Hahah Check these threads out for some more info - Nuketown Zombies Loading Screen BO2 Breakthroughs The BREN Tower at Jackass Flats 3. The location of "Green Run" is in Hanford, Washington State. This is what the 'Atomic Frontier Days' picture is referring too. The 'Tri-cities' were agricultural (fruits?) towns until the 'Manhattan Project' began & the people that lived in Hanford & White Bluffs were forced to relocate as these towns were demolished to make way for the 'Hanford Nuclear Site'. The town of 'Richland' was then faced with an 'Industrial Boom' which changed the 'Tri-Cities' from Agricultural to Industrial. (something along these lines anyway, IDK I'm Australian) I'm not too sure what the 'Nuke Donkey' is about? Hey Way, (I don't think I've posted in here yet?) Have you played everyday since release Way? I hadn't played in three days, played my first 4 or 5 games of Nuketown Co-op ever (3 games in low 20s) = No level up to skull. Played next game in TranZit Green Run Solo (same day), (messing around setting up my capture Card) downed at the start of round 2 & got Blue Eyes??? Maybe I needed those 5 or 6 kills to Rank up? Next day, didn't play but watched theatre mode & after exiting theatre I lost my blue eyes? This was all before that update so this maybe Disinformation? Unless the game got 'Bumped' with that update last week, does everything reset if you don't play consecutive days? IE - Ranking, Earnable Perks, Tower of Babble Table save point?

@ Mix I haven't looked through your Jack Parson's thread in a while, I can't remember if something like this is in there or not? While I was looking at the Vril society/Jack Parson's I came across "The Hanging Man Joker Tarot Card" it was linked to the Vril Society Logo. Hopefully you can see the resemblance? I have some good articles but they are lost in my favourites bar. Damn organisation!

@Matuzz - I haven't forgotten about you. I have been searching for those Locations for ages, all three spots that we've talked about. I can't find the exact match. I might have another look at the ingame COTD pictures too. Thanks for those links. @ AntJac, the YouTube link won't play for me, country copywrite or something? Anyone else have this problem? I've come across that crystal links site before, should I keep searching in there? Your picture reminds me of my favourite pictures. (sorry I've posted these in a few threads - trying to spread the word!)

There are a few Flaws in both Shooter's & my locations/theories (Though I don't think Shooter specified a location?) MINE - The Sedan Blast was an 'underground' detonation, Though I haven't researched exactly how it was conducted. All I know is that the 'Clock Tower' was built to house the Bomb & also fed hundreds of metre's of cableing to detonate said device. In the Screenshot I posted (in the Bren tower thread) of the 2 towers you can see from the backyard of Nuketown, the closer tower (that is clearer to see in the pic) that is same square tower that is used to drop the bomb. (like the bent over 'clock tower' in the street) I'm not sure if this method contridicts the sedan detonation or not? If the sedan detonation did not have a bomb at the top of the tower structure, then the 'Sedan' detonation is not the location of Nuketown as it was an underground detonation? The video below is a 'No-clip' of the Black Ops 1 multiplayer Nuketown Map. This also shows the Detonation Tower, but the towers we see in BO2 Nuketown zombies may just be power line towers? 8gId6Qo5r08 (I'm sorry I didn't discuss this with you Shooter) Shooters Thread - Based on Latchkey & Trinity Streets. Even though Operation Latchkey had multiple detonations in the Nevada Test Site, the Trinity detonation was conducted in the state of New Mexico, not Nevada. (I'm a musician, not a graphic artist, so forgive me for my awesome 'paint' job) This post is a mix of 3 Threads, Nuketown Loading Screen, BREN Tower & BO2 Breakthroughs. You guys know where to find them.

One thing that Shooter pointed out in his OP is that the Bren Tower was moved from it original location (Yucca Flats - same location as the SEDAN Crater) in 1963 So in my post with the screenshots of the tower, is this the original Location of the BREN Tower at Yucca Flats? Or is it the relocated location at Jackass Flats? (SEDAN Blast - 6th July 1962) what was the exact date of the relocation of the Bren Tower in 1963? we might be able to narrow the dates? This must be done for Tac's sake..... :x CORRECTION - The Bren Tower was at Yucca Flats from 1962 until 1966!
