  1. He has answered all those questions look through his posts. Let's not encourage him to start repeating things.
  2. I can't confirm in way of video or picture but if you use it regularly just give it a try. It definitely kills as many if not more plus propels you forward a bit. Think facing outwards looking out of the top of the bar and the horde is coming up the stairs for you, no fire it and walk off the side, it'll propel you forward out of danger but will also fry the horde behind you as you float down. I tested it at the diner personally. I thought, that's weird it's pulling toward the horde.. almost like I'm holding this thing backwards. Then I tried it and sure enough it destroyed the horde behind me and spit some gibs out the side vents. lol Fun
  3. Oh my god, you people are TOO naive, holy crap man. He could have said that any time, and he knew back when he said that, he had already convinced people to keep trying one his bullshit theories, so as soon as the discussion started do die out, he created this thread. As every troll, he wants ATTENTION, because he feels special if people are talking about him, or something he said. Like seriously, some times I wonder if most people here are little kids, 12 year olds or something. Let this thread die, like every single one of his so far, so we can move on and forget about him. Like I said I wasn't defending him. I've also said I felt he was trolling. The only difference is I didn't start hating on him and being so angry like some of the so called "12 year olds" you speak of. Oh wait... Yea that makes sense twice. Take care little angry man, don't fret, the trolls won't bite.
  4. I am just discussing the JetGun, I AM NOT eluding to any furthering of the EE with this discussion. Just so its clear. I don't know if this has been discussed at length already but I wanted to make a few points here about the JetGun as I've been giving it another chance and playing around with it again. One is that I've seen many people using it facing a horde. Notice how it pushes you into the horde? It would make more sense to keep the horde behind you and shoot it, which actually makes you run forward a bit faster let alone burning up the horde behind you and spitting some gibs out the vents. *The reason I bring this up is because I'm trying to think of creative ways to use it this way. Sucking something into it and spitting it out the other side. The other thing I wanted to bring up is that people always say shooting the clock in the diner creates this electric effect. Yes it does. In fact if you shoot ANYTHING with a neon light in it, it creates this "electric" effect. Go up on the roof and shoot the diner sign. Go out front of the building and shoot the other signs. I didn't have time to try it but I'm curious if any other neon signs in the map react in the same or a different way. Such as the "moon" sign, "Bowling sign", "bar", etc... My last thing about the Jet gun is actually a question for you all. When you overheat the gun and it blows apart, is there a pattern to where the pieces go? In my experience 2 pieces go in the area it exploded and the other 2 go back to the shack and Nacht. I'm thinking if you are in the fog it would return all the pieces to their original areas. (not sure though) I didn't like this gun at all the first few times I tried it. I caught on that it overheats and that it only recharges when you have it out right away but I didn't find it practical, and even a little dangerous to use so I stopped building it. Lately I have started building it again and have actually come up with a few strategies that work and allow me to utilize it and recharge it without risking certain death. It's actually a cool dynamic. Not the best wonder weapon by any means, but interesting. It's half ass effectiveness though is what leads me to believe it is used in other ways (aside from the one step we know in the EE) I think it can be utilized to be much more effective if used properly. Anyway, interested in any thoughts as usual. Have a great day everyone!
  5. Not to defend this guy but he said that once we were on the right track he would leave, then apparently some posters were on the right track so he said he was leaving, but they lost track or didn't make progress with what he thinks is the right path so he came back. He didn't exactly lie about that.
  6. I would be more inclined to think the Avagrado is Maxis transforming. I do think Russman is going to end up playing a more devious role however in the Zombie stereotypes the old guy is usually the wiser protector of the group so who knows.
  7. He says that when you run out of the fog into an area like Diner, etc..
  8. Those two lights in particular require power. If you haven't turned the power on yet you have to throw your turbine down next to it and then run a denizen into it.
  9. viewtopic.php?f=136&t=26150&p=253365#p253365 I proposed this clock theory in this thread on the 13th. Glad to see it might actually lead to something!
  10. What exactly is this shaky video showing the tower that can be clearly seen from town with no denizens trying to show? Not saying you're a troll, but why are you making things so difficult? The tower obviously lights up for each step you do, what step was done for the particular light that you're trying to show everyone? You know exactly what people are asking but your trying to be mysterious is getting in the way of people actually understanding the point you're attempting to make.
  11. Makes me wonder if everyone completing the table in solo would trigger anything. You find the nav card in solo, why isn't there more to find or do in solo? Maybe there is?
  12. Nice thought, but I'm sure the players have god mode activated when filming the in-game trailers, so they don't look dumb going down while trying to promote the game. Then again I could be wrong. I'll look at the trailer again in a little bit and EDIT my post with anything new I see. Can someone tell me what this is @ 1:28 in the reveal trailer? I see a pylon but there's blue structure there... The bus depot nor the diner has any pylon there so what could it be? And in the trailer you can see clear as day because the trailer was shot with no fog activated.. :?: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YH_9GzaUW40 That could be that generator out in the fog I was talking about above. It's not small, it's fairly big, has silo looking things. In this video above, pause it at 1:24. That is a shit ton of spark to be in the room it's in and it is only on the screen for a second. Are you thinking what I'm thinking? (avagrado?) This may be a way to jump the spark from the sparking generator over to the fallen tower then on over to the big generator. /me heads to the roof to light up the 247 group bat signal. ;)
  13. I don't question it as I think it's nice having a choice, having a cheaper option, and/or having a closer denizen killer to grab to run freely around in the fog. (usually grab it on my way to the power from town after hitting the bank) A little but check them out... the wire at the church end of town goes to the building with jug I think. It just dangles there and sparks. Bridge that gap and the 3 others and it may do something. Couple other ideas cuz they seem to be just flying out of my ass here. Has anyone tried redirecting the beams with the zombie shield? Stop the bus in front of the bank just before the lava where the beam hits the 2nd floor windows and stand on top with the shield and try to reflect it to hit the sparkling orb on the streetlight? Just a thought. Also I'm curious why the nav card has to be picked up in solo. But nothing else?? Have we tried using the nav card in the nav card reader in solo? Why would that be in solo and not in 4 player? Another thought I had (which is not well thought out mind you) is instead of trying to power everything up, try to power everything down. Leave the power off, EMP things like the bus, mystery box etc.. all at the same time. Another dead end I'm sure. lol, sorry if I'm annoying anyone, just trying to think of things for people to try.
  14. The problem with trying things solo is it's very likely that it will take cooperation of 4 people to make something happen. This is why I'm just checking the basics (looking for another hidden build site for the table) and shooting ideas out for your groups to have a go at. Try using some pack a punched junk, 4 guns, nades, monkeys, emp's, and the jet gun. Like Ascension, we might need to over load it with enough firepower to make something happen. I have no idea really, just things I've thought about. I'll be living vicariously through group 247 and NGT until I can find a good enough zombie group to give things a serious go. Good luck!
  15. Awesome he's gone! Everybody back to work!!
  16. Yea I read you guys tried that, I was just confirming. Never hurts to have a 2nd opinion. The sparking wires though still may have some relevance. You may need to do all 4 to complete the entire circuit. The generator you just mentioned wasn't the one I was talking about. You know how the tower is broken and laying over the road? If you follow that across the road where the rock wall is there is a giant generator with red glowing lights. Most people don't see it because of the fog. I found it when I had a migration glitch and wandered around with no fog. You can see it going from power to town (near the power area on the left.) and you can see it heading from the power to the farm on the right hand side. You can actually get closer to it by going from the power to the farm. You may be able to catch it in one of the "no fog" videos on youtube. Seems to me there will need to be something done with that at some point. I have also been thinking about those towers that are laying over the roads that the bus passes under. I don't remember where they all are but there is one at power and one just past the bowie knife going to town. Imagine if these were electrified like a barrier trap in Ascension or Kino. The bus would pass through them and shock the shit out of anything on the bus... like zombies. Or... us... ok well this theory needs some work. Anyway lol, back to work, good luck folks!
  17. So I ran around the entire perimeter with the board. No dice. Not to say I didn't miss some spots but nothing showed up so far. I did have a weird little glitch happen to me though. I was in the tunnel and the bus came through, I was able to climb up on top of the bus where the ladder goes without the ladder being attached yet. The climbing animation and everything was there but I hadn't actually attached the ladder to the bus yet. If anyone has a solid party they should each grab a piece of the power switch buildable and run around to see if they activate a prompt anywhere. Would be so much easier to do than solo like I did with the board. I also tried to put the ladder on the Sedan billboard sign to no avail. So far I got nothing. I do want to try to blow the shit out of that big generator across from the power station but I've gotta rally a good enough party to coordinate it. I also want to throw down turbines in the 4 locations with the sparking wires, Seems like a logical theory to close the circuit in the lines around the map and restore full power to the area, but hey who knows. I tested the EMP the driver when his eyes are red and can confirm that it does nothing new. I can also confirm that throwing down your fan on the bus while the driver is EMP'd wakes him up immediately. Wonder if Galva-punching him would have the same effect.
  18. There's no way to tell if they're the same person anyway. Thanks proxy.
  19. I'll give this a try as well but I must note that when you don't have the hatch in your possession and you walk up to the hole in the diner it gives a message. This message hasn't been seen anywhere else to signify a part could be used. In another post we discussed that the hidden spot under the tower where you build the table doesn't show a message until you have a part in your possession and walk up to it. Meaning it could be possible to run around the map with the board or radio and look for the buildable message to appear elsewhere. Another thought I had was using the parts from the power elsewhere. Who takes one of the parts for the power switch out of the power room and into other parts of the map? NOBODY. Everyone wants to turn the power on right away. So maybe the lever or control panel or even the zombie arm could be used elsewhere. I don't think anything will turn out with any of this but I will be giving it a go tonight with ya'll.
  20. It's also possible that if we don't completely finish the EE on this map then we won't be able to continue it in the next one either. The beams have to amount to something. There's no way it's over.
  21. What if the light beams are meant to be hands of a clock. Stepping back and looking at the bigger picture from afar. If you were to look at Green Run in an over view like from an airplane. Maybe the beams can be viewed as the hands of a clock. Need an overview picture done and then plot where each orb is found and each beam to see if there are any patterns. (example, the blue and white lights always show up around the laundry door, this is static, meaning looking at the from the sky would possibly make more sense. Problem is we can't get up there to check) Any ideas?
  22. Shh shh shhhh adults are talking now Dan.. So any progress with any of this?
  23. I like the idea of four ppl with turbines at each of these sparking wires. Closing the circuit makes sense to me. Anyone tried it?
  24. I'm not saying I support this guy but think about something logically here for a second. Treyarc releases the best Zombie experience ever. They watch half of the EE get done right away like usual, then the entire world gets stumped. They took preventative measures to hide it in a way it can't be no clipped or theater'd, decoded whatever. They smash their old record for the world solving the latest EE. Now the weeks are dragging on to a DLC in a month or however long. If you were them how would you give the community a little nudge? To get them going again enjoying the game instead of being frustrated and clueless. I personally would have someone doing exactly what Birddog is doing. Giving ideas to people of new things that they haven't seen tried before. Leading them to the area but not giving it away. I would also ensure to bind him legally to a contract to not specifically give away the steps. Be as vague as possible but get people trying things they haven't thought of. Anyway, on a lighter note this guy is bullshit.
  25. Troll or not, timing an EMP toss with making the bus drivers eyes turn red is a good idea..
