If you can't afford to buy it then live vicariously through others and swing over to youtube and watch the billion and a half videos people have made. You'll learn everything you need to know. Try searching for "NGT black Ops 2 zombies" Spiderbites a good commentator and explains things nicely.

Yea it's actually used a lot more these days. Businesses use it and most time stamps within customer management programs and stuff use it. At least in my experience anyway. Military sticks out to me though. Like I said I don't have nuketown yet so I'm not sure how the clock there works. What are the mechanics? Does it count down to dropping a next perk machine? Does it tick consistently or just as you kill zombies? I dunno but I'm recommending testing it out. It could be totally unrelated but that woods video where he said that marltons watch is very significant just screams to me. Why would he mention it like that if it was irrelevant?
-
That's a valid point. It could be a.m. I guess I thought pm due to what looks like someone wrote military time on the clock.
-
Yea I got nothing as well. Tried emps, fan, nades, ray gun and jet gun. It doesn't look like you can get into the church gentlemen. Unless it's like ascension and you need all 4 people with ray gun jetgun emps and what not. Also tried to use the jetgun to get into the laundromat/bowling alley to no avail. You don't really fly. Just kinda float down from a second floor. I'm still lookin though

Ah yea, my bad. I corrected the times.

I was reading another thread that sort of got off track so I thought I'd start a fresh one to discuss timeline and the clocks. I don't have Nuketown yet so I'm not able to test this out myself. There is apparently a clock that changes time on it that is tied to the population of zombies sign? If this is so then try to stop the clock on 19:49 (time stopped on clocks in the Bus Depot and Diner) or 19:04 (time stopped on Marltons watch) See if it does anything, makes anything appear, or triggers any audio, etc.. Out of all the clocks that have ever been in Zombies, how many moved (besides the small tick of the clock in Der Reise) I'm thinking this is significant. I'm also thinking there might be some sort of EE type thing that ties Nuketown and Tranzit together. If this has already been done or discussed to conclusion then please link me to the thread, otherwise let us know what happened with your experiments with the clock on Nuketown.

Let the bus pull away and you're in. Try shooting up the driver to get him to leave quicker. Or just go the easy way and run to town through the fog. Do't forget to grab your Bowie knife in the shack on your way through.
-
That actually deserved it's own thread. Good theory for marlton the bus nav cards and even gave some logic to the clock anomaly I was talkin about. I like it. Maybe we will get nav cards in the next map to give us a reason to come back to tranzit and unlock the navcard reader from the EE.

Interesting. Why not, it's a jet engine right? lol I'm about to go check out the church a little more, I've noticed the window but it never dawned on me that "why would there be a window to do up in the fog?" I'll nade everything. The spire comment always made me think of the church even though everyone says it's the radio tower where you start the EE. The view up that street with the church in the background is the picture on the postcard in the loading screen. I'm thinking closer examination of that postcard is warranted. I'll also check to see if the lit up window above the bank is still lit up with the power off. I'm curious if there will be a way to get into the bowling alley. If you look through the windows it totally looks like you could run hordes in there where the lanes are. If we're to get in here it seems to me it'll be through the metal door in the front or jet gunning up through the hole. Something tells me it's just wishful thinking though. I'll report back with any findings I come across.

A glitch with town survival?
CrazyTrain0917 replied to Tridalo's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I haven't seen that one but I have seen a couple others while playing Town survival. 1: After a host migration I came back to the game alone and everything was frozen but I could still walk around the entire map. All perk machines, pap, and doors would not work and the zombies were frozen in place, some moving some not. It was like in Bops1 when the server timed out how you could walk around for a little bit and then it'd quit the game. Except this lasted indefinitely until I quit the game myself. 2: Last night I went down and tombstoned out. When the next round started I ran around and bought the perks I hadn't bought the first time and headed to grab my tombstone so I'd have 6 perks. I went down right next to my tombstone and before my teammate could revive me I saw my tombstone flashing. I crawled to it and the game let me pick it up. I had lost the extra perks I just bought from going down but it gave me my guns and the 3 perks I originally bought. I was still down waiting for my teammate and had the FAL in my hand instead of the pistol. I was shooting at zombies but it still only had limited ammo. Appeared to be a model glitch where I actually had the pistol but I was visually holding the FAL. My teammate revived me and all was well. Stranger things have happened but there are definitely some glitches going on related to Internet connection and some of the new features like tombstone. -
I actually like the whole relationship thing she has going on with the nerd Marlton. She's always teasing him. It fits the classic Zombie apocalypse stereotype, last guy on earth thing where it's always some super hot girl with some unlikely nerd that finally gets the girl because of the situation. As far as her being related to Dempsey I'm not so sure yet but it'd be an excellent way to tie her to the old characters. I still like the idea that these four survivors are just that, survivors of the damage that has been done and totally unrelated to the original characters as far as back story goes. I think the same thing can be done with future DLC around the globe. Meeting the fam 4 as the story unfolds is a better plot in my opinion. Buuuut there's always that one... that one character who ties into the back story. I think Marlton knows more than he's letting on, and Stuhlinger is a pretty creepy guy with more knowledge about whats going on than he's letting on. Anyway sorry to get a bit off topic, Misty is awesome! She has a great set of... pistols *Ahem* Duel five sevens what? She knows how to handle a gun.. er.. um.. Clearly a woman of many talents. :D

we had all the parts built i think(meteorite, radio, desk and the part that joins reader to the wires) i actually thought that is what it looked like but a guy in a game assured me it was a navcard, hence why i asked the question. as we played that game the third didnt appear til round 11. but when i viewed the same game in theater i cycled at round 1 with the game paused and it went from 1 to 3. so i was pointing out that it isnt likley to be a slow load but maybe you have to somehow unlock players cards by surviving rounds/buying boxes. also during this game i kept asking who could see cards and we occasionally saw different things. just thinking that maybe every player has to be able to see 4 or something. i kinda realised this as thats what it said on my screen... but i hadnt seen others talk about it on here yet because ive just joined so "chill yo beans son" (as da getto boys say) while i catch up. im just throwing things out there. feel free to throw em back, but just not in my face yet please. Peace I think things get lost in translation in text. I was in no way throwing anything in your face. I'm actually enjoying searching for things and then discussing them with you in this thread. Have you seen the T.V. stuff yet?

Except for the fact that Jimmy Z made a statement that nobody has shown evidence that the EE has been completed. You're right usually people solve it pretty quick and I think thats because PC hackers can just breakdown the DLC content super fast after release. This time it was a whole new game and a delay on the PC release so it took them longer to hack it. I think there's more to it simply because the Navcards and the sparkling orbs have yet to be explained. But thats just me.
-
I think you have to have all of the parts built with the table for it to save. As far as I can tell you can't interact with the memopad under the drivers seat. (yea not a navcard, it's a pad of paper-zoom in with a sniper rifle) I've never witnessed cards appearing mid game, as far as them appearing at the beginning is it possible the other players just hadn't fully connected yet? It says wrong Navcard because it's the wrong one lol. (thats the point everyone is at right now) I'm wondering if there's another radio somewhere and we're building the table with the wrong part... Who knows at this point, if Spiderbites crew hasn't found it yet then it's definitely something tricky. In that video you linked me to of his (might have been one I clicked afterwards) he was talking about how since the PC version was released someone has stripped the voice files out of the game and there's character quotes said that could lead to the answer but he was hesitant on cheating (by listening to the files) to figure it out. I'm sure the solution is coming very soon since the hackers are getting into the coding for the PC version. I was hoping everyone would complete the EE before they hacked it but oh well.

Nope. I've read a cool theory about VR-11 being powered by Vril+DNA code taken from a guard at Pentagon, then being swapped for Winter's Howl. Interesting! You have a link?
-
Yea it's acquired by getting so many revives in one game. I did want to point out for you though since you are obviously an outstanding medic and team player. If you buy quick revive on top of having that ability your revive speed is instant. Like shooting them with a pap ballistic knife.

Certain teleporters are linked to one another, regardless whether the Easter Egg is done or not. In other words, it doesn't take you someplace new. I know for a fact that there's set location where each portal will take you. For instance, the one between Nacht and the spire (road) will take you after the large lava pool after Diner everytime. I'll map out each portal's destination tomorrow. I would be extremely interested in that map! Thanks in advance!

Pack a punching the type 25 a couple times will give you the electronic xray scope thing. I never even thought to run around looking at stuff with this. To the guy who lost his fan, the fan has a limited use. After awhile you'll whip it out and it'll spark and shake and then blow up in a puff of smoke. I didn't find anything with the door in picture above. I dont think it'll open. There's also a door around the front of the bowling alley that looks like it could be opened. It doesn't have trash cans or anything in front of it like the back door. EE: so far there are 2 spots with the glowing red sparkles right? Street light in town and in the box. I wonder if something needs to be done to each of these at the same time.
-
Yea I posted the details for that shortcut on here somewhere. Also with jug and Staminup there isn't any lava pit you can get through, you just have to time the Denizens right. I take the bus from the depot to the diner, do what I need to do then as you say take the bus to the church and head right into town. From there I don't even go on the bus unless I absolutely need to or if it happens to be at my stop and I'm going to the next one.
-
The only lava pit that is near impossible to get across without jug is the one between the town and bridge. The one leaving the diner is a few feet shorter and you can make it across quite easily. When leaving the diner area (going the direction the bus exits) Stick to your left. Hop through the lava and continue hugging the left wall. About midway it will veer left even more and you will see the church. Go by the church and presto, you are in town. If you leave the farm (going backwards compared to the route the bus takes) hug the right wall and its actually quite close. Same thing the path will veer hard right, right by the church and boom you're in town. Tip: Watch one of your Tranzit videos and detach the camera into free mode. Now go explore the map. You will find anything you need to know and you will also be able to bring the camera up off the ground a bit to get a short overhead view of any area you like. Note: if you haven't opened a door in your video yet, you will not be able to enter that building until the door is opened. The main areas that have explorable land aside from the main path are between the diner and farm (shortcut to town) between the farm and power (cornfields, got lost in here in camera mode lol) and between Power and town (shack with bowie knife) Other than that all the paths are pretty straight forward with small nooks and cranny's and little islands of trees to confuse people in the fog and get them turned around. (diner to farm on the right side has a big one of these, just a big oval that brings you back to the diner if you get mixed up in the fog. Hope this helps!

Favorite Gun from BLOPS II Zombies
CrazyTrain0917 replied to Zom-B_Hunter115's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Yea man. You can start a custom game and adjust certain attributes such as hellhounds, headshot only, magic(perks and pap) and you can adjust why round you start at up to round 20. The other cool thing is ( let me know if they fixed it for regular games) but you can join a buddies game in progress if the game was started through the custom menu. Note: you get 2500 points for every 5 round increment you start with (ex: starting round 10 will start you with 5000 points. Round 15 with 7500 etc. ) also running a couple games of headshot only to warm up is awesome. Soon you aim head without even thinking about it when playing normal. It is guaranteed to improve your points and kills in no time. Dog rounds? What? -
That would be cool but why is the logic "what towers would be tall enough for them?" The tower in Green Run is nowhere near that big... out of all of the radio towers in the world why would Paris be the logical choice of the next map? Sorry if I missed something but this doesn't make sense to me.

Question about leaderboards, if anyone knows...
CrazyTrain0917 replied to CheezyWeezle's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Two days ago I started a game with 4 randoms, one dropped around round 15, the other two dropped around 17-18, it migrated hosts and let me continue by myself. I downed myself around round 25 to go to bed and it didn't save to any of the leader boards. The stats saved but not the round. Maybe it's related to the host? If the original host completes the match then it'll save to the leader boards? I dunno, I wish Treyarc would explain how it works. None of my previous custom games saved either and I had quite a few high round games with friends. I was able to find the videos but none of our leader boards posted. -
I agree but it's a valid point that the wondergun would normally take up one of your 3 slots from mulekick. With this maps wondergun being an item slot essentially you are carrying 3 guns. See what I'm sayin?

Ohh theres a new video! Nice thx, I haven't seen this one yet. I'll watch in a bit. No wonder I didn't know wth you were talking about lol
