Love it. Any differing opinions?

Ok so 3 consoles have it and 1 doesn't. Maybe the glitch isn't the beams but the lack of beams on ps3?

I would say we need to trial and error the behavior of the navcard. Document each gain and loss of it throughout games. If people really think it is related to Net asset value then lets study it's habits and figure it out from a bank/asset view point. I seem to always have the Navcard in the games I play but I have seen many times where my buddies who I know have picked up the Navcard don't have it at the beginning but end up with it in the end. I've seen us start out with 1,2,3, and 4 navcards in the beginning. I've seen someone go down and then their navcard disappear. etc.. etc.. I have 2 theories that we'd need to test to be able to prove. 1.) players see the navcards differently. When a game starts I might see me with a navcard and nobody else but Trev might only see himself with one. (I think this might have been disproved but I can't remember)-If this is a fact then why is that happening? 2.) Maybe the navcard simply shows everyone that you have money in your bank? Let's study the behavior of the navcards, the when where's whats, of why it shows up and disappears and try to draw some conclusions. Anyone have a logical orderly way of doing this efficiently? A graph? Google drive excel possibly? Are we even interested in trying this out to begin with? If so I'd be willing to add info of my findings but I don't have time to administrate a project dedicated to it.

This is the first clue I've ever read and actually thought it might mean something. Lithium, Tac, EJ, DB4DH, what do you guys make of this?

Tranzit mode is the zombie campaign. It will continue through every single DLC. In my opinion, and it may only be my opinion but I think the idea of "petitioning" Jimmy to reveal anything is one of the most ignorant things I've ever heard. No offence Zombo, I just don't know how to say it any other way man. That's like petitioning Nintendo to tell us exactly what castle the princess is in when we've only beat world 1. Ridiculous and would make us as a community look absolutely ungrateful and stupid. Again I don't mean to offend you Zombo, I just whole heartedly disagree with this notion of trying to petition info out of Treyarch. Again, just my opinion.

Since I don't have moon, I wouldn't know exactly where they are but I beleive they were on some switchboard. As I said, the numbers I found were on a keypad in the pack-a-punch room under the bank If you don't have moon then how do you know these numbers are in Moon? Site a source perhaps? Where did you get this info?

Tranzit easter egg continuation #11
CrazyTrain0917 replied to Multiplayernoproblem's topic in General Zombies Discussion
You cannot pack a punch buildables. You also cannot derail the bus from it's circuit. You can make the bus speed up and pass up stops by repeatedly punching the bus driver in the face, and you can EMP him to make him roll to a stop and use the turbine to get him going again. Other than that there's not much more to the bus. -
Worth picking up Black Op 1 for zombies now?
CrazyTrain0917 replied to Bloodzat's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I'm 32 myself and have a list of friends all older than 20 or so. I would say purchase of BO1 and all the map packs is a definite must have if you enjoy zombies. We put hours upon hours into that game and nostalgia-wise those maps are all classic. I suggest doing what we do and have a old school zombie night with guys you play with a lot. Throw in blops1 and play old school zombies for a few hours. The skills you pick up in blops2 actually improve your skills when you go back and play blops1 IMO. -
This whole upside down room thing is a neat concept and visually plays tricks on your eyes. I think there will be a logical explanation why the room looks like that and don't believe there will be any magical never ending staircase or changing room or anything. To see what a room like this does to your visual conception, play the multiplayer map Aftermath. On this map there is an area in the middle with a wrecked bus you can get into just outside a short tunnel. Above that tunnel is a path that goes up and around and has a chunk of a building as cover. When you look at the building it is a whole room that has been blown out of a bigger building with bathroom stalls on it. The stalls are above you as the room is upside down. When your eyes first get to looking at it closely it trips you out a bit. Your mind tries to logically figure out what the hell is going on lol. I think Die Rise is going to have a lot of this visual mental trickery, Mc Escher style. Pretty cool.

I personally loved PHD flopper but here's the thing. One it was a crutch for everyone, me included, using M&S to save yourself from being trapped. And two is it's sort of flawed in limiting the purpose of some of the new terrain and map aspects they are trying out in maps. By this I mean that they put certain dynamics into the maps to make it challenging. The lava for example. The lava is not overly difficult to work with. You can walk over the cracks and it only hurts for a second, you can jump over the pits. With flopper it would make this dynamic pointless. You could walk out into the middle of a lava pit and just stand there. Well if that's possible why bother with the lava at all. In Die Rise, if they put it in there it will instantly flaw the entire concept of the map. There will no longer be a danger factor in the uniqueness of playing on a vertical map. It's these map aspects that I like to call the "Surprise factor" that zombies started to lose over the maps of Bo1. Once everyone mastered how to run the hordes and got more comfortable the "surprise factor" became less and less. With M&S and flopper what surprise factor that was left could easily be blown to shit and not cause ones death. These terrain aspects give the game a sort of freshness. Who wasn't surprised when they missed that jump in the lava room by power for the first time and died? lol, it sucked, but we were definitely a bit surprised, and were put on our toes a bit to watch out for more dangers like that. All in all, a perk like flopper makes new dynamics Treyarch are trying out with these maps pointless. I would like to see them build a map around floppers uses and really push the envelope and still make it challenging even though you have it.

Pause this video at 6:13 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3Qhb8cmEJ8 -thx NGT!- The thought of this being significant did cross my mind when I originally watched this but I forgot all about it. -
The metal doors you open with turbine ARE ALL see through, every single one of them including the 2 at bus depot. You just cant go inside. clipped) PaP door isn't see through due to the whole floor opening mechanism I'm assuming. And yes I specifically checked that door with the lightening bolt on the power side and no it was not see through like the others, suggesting that it doesn't open, or it has some sort of mechanism to it like the one in the vault for PaP. Ditto for a door on the train cars if any of them actually do open.

Next time instead of a crawler leave a couple runners and just run backwards from farm towards diner. The shortcut to town is right there on the right, no lava or anything lol. I got trapped last night in solo, round 34 with over a hundred grand in points on me. Was heading to town from the tunnel through depot and the walker I left died some how. They started spawning while I was in the fog next to depot and if you've ever been higher than 30 you know they spawn like 3-4 zombies out of every spawn hole. I would have been fine except when I jumped the small strip of lava, I got swiped by 2 zombies I'm guessing, and a denizen jumped on my head. A little too much and poof, game over. GRRRR

^^^ nailed it. -
Is there a thread explaining how TranZit is not a zombie map
CrazyTrain0917 replied to bloodfurn's topic in TranZit
After you select a map you then select a game mode. Shouldn't be too hard to understand. -
Dev hinted Transportation in Die Rise?! TranZit Style Map?
CrazyTrain0917 replied to LegitimateRage's topic in Die Rise
I'd put money on the fact that all elements of Green run (bank, fridge..etc..) will be in the new map in one way shape or form. Maybe Marlton is flying the chopper. I am quite curious about how they got from Green Run to China though. -
I have a couple.. Group of 4, when blops2 first came out. We're rockin. It's like round 20 and we're still riding the bus around because it hadn't dawned on us yet that we could just run wherever we wanted to. The Avagadro had spawned at a stop so we all jumped on the bus and got it moving. As we're leaving (farm I think it was) the avagadro jumps up in the back window and starts shocking the shit out of us while we're fighting off zombies. The funniest part was our reactions and how loud we were all yelling. Flipping right out and killing shit as fast as we could. We killed him and got to the next stop. We still laugh about it sometimes. Prolly one of the most intense moments in zombies. Our reactions were what made it cuz the situation wasn't that bad. Another time I was showing this guy the shortcut to town and there was a huge horde behind the bus. I hopped off and went to run across the road and the horde ran me over. The timing was priceless and I wasn't expecting it. I've killed myself with the traps a few times. Had a few bad teleports teleporting into an area where someone was bringing a horde around. I never take the bus anymore. I run and teleport everywhere I need to go. After you've killed a billion Denizens you start to get a bit lazy and don't "rapidly press" the knife button but press it, see the animation, then press it again until the denizen is dead. I've been so lazy a couple times when knifing a denizen that it's dropped me lol.. The other night is was round 35 and we left a few runners to open PaP. I ran to depot grabbed a turbine and started to create a portal. I was like 3 steps away from the light and had already hit it once with the knuckles so I was trying to eek out that last couple steps and boom, downs me. Noone near me to revive me, lost 2 PaP guns, 4 perks, claymores, knucks.. such an idiot lol

If We Knew Now, What We Saw Then...

That looks like the bus to the far left. -
It wasn't just the pic of her ass it was the comment about the sewing machine right after the pic that got me.. Ignoring the obvious.. was hilarious. This map looks epic.
-
I have been Samuel twice now since my last post and both times I did NOT hear the quote... interesting... something is saving there so that the game recognizes that we've heard this quote before..
-
You revived someone in town from the bus depot? What? Please explain this because I've never seen this before. I've shot people from across the screen and had to arc it a bit like Tom is saying but they've always had to be in sight.. Do you have a video or anything? If you can do this then that changes the whole dynamic of keeping people revived in this map and I'm putting a PaP defib in my fridge.

I got zapped by my own electric trap one time. Forgot I had it and grabbed a turbine. It set the electric trap in front of the turbine table. Turned around, set the turbine down, turned back around to pick up the trap and it zapped me. Note to self....never set turbine down that close to a trap you intend to pick up! lol doh! I've done that with the turret. Traded a turret for a turbine leaving the turret sit and someone grabbed the shield that someone else left, setting their turbine down next to my turret and it killed us both lol.. man we laughed but we were so pissed. Had a ton of money and the other 2 guys didn't carry us through so we lost everything.
-
lol fair enough, I haven't been here long and when I joined I jumped right into the Blops2 stuff didn't read much of the older blops1 threads.

Nice vid. I had a very weird glitch on bus depot survivor. With 4 people it was round 15 and we were keeping 3 guys back where you get the navcard and rotating a guy out to run hordes and lead them to the group to be mowed down. It was my turn to horde so I come around the corner of the building and there is a huge glitch dirt mound right in the middle of the open area in front of the mp5. I could run through it, when I got close to it I could see through it but it stayed until the end. Nobody else could see it. Just a big brown dirt pile. I'll have to dig through my games and see if it showed up in theater. If I find it I'll post it. I'll keep an eye out for the green avagadro.
