  1. Everything post 4 and on by me can go. A couple of posts may have value, use discretion. But i honestly don't care if they stay or go.
  2. Silly internet people! I checked online for any found glitches (out of map and the like-i won't cheat online, just easily amused by glitches). Everywhere is a video of the 'no team' glitch on Favela. Really? The 'frenemies' glitch, as I call it, has been ubiquitously present every gaming session for 2 months now. How can you possible associate the glitch with 'new' and 'Favela'? /end rant.
  3. As per request, all original maps are now in post #1. All DLC maps now reside in post #3. I cannot delete posts from this thread, I have tried several times, so I guess that it will stay like this. Edit: moving forward, expect only posts 1 and 3 to be updated. Happy gaming all!

  5. DLC3, Invasion, added 2 weapons, 3 new and 1 reprinted map, as well as the next chapter of Extinction. If not 5th or/nor 10th Prestige, you may check the weapons out in private or local games versus bots or friends. Gold Combat Knife: unlocked at prestige 5. Faster melee, gold color, otherwise appears as combat knife. Had same stats as original, only the grab and push animation is replaced by a quick slash. (currently may glitch '2 kills with a picked up weapon' field order). Gold PDW: Fully automatic secondary. Unlocked at prestige 10. All attachments are unlocked for it. Maps will be described in the map thread/extinction forum (hopefully). Edit: Extinction now has more unlocks available in the armory. Also 5 new relics to choose from. Also 5 more prestige levels.
  6. I can say that it is worse, to me. All of the reprints would get better if someone could tell me how to get rid of the incredibly shitty music, without turning the music down, which makes the round start and end music go away. That 'music' (i use the term loosely) is intolerable to me. Edit: also, i usually play 1 or 2 player. The glitched windows in the reprint make the game much harder. By opening the map a certain way, one could have a zombie-free window at your back in the original, but they glitched that in the reprint which really hurt the playability more than any of the other reprints.
  7. Invasion DLC Map: Favela: unaltered mw2 reprint: Egg hunt: in the east/south east is a small graveyard. The egg can be seen through the gate there or from the eastern building roof, it is just out of the map to the east.
  8. Invasion DLC Map: Mutiny: scratching the surface. Killstreak: Pirate ship drive-by shooting (cannons). Egg hunt: Top of ship, center gate, look down there for the egg.
  9. Invasion DLC Map: Departed: some info. Killstreak: death mariachi ghosts. You have 2 pistols and can see enemies highlighted through the walls. When you kill one, you get a death mariachi squad mate who will head off to create mayhem (probably max of two). Breech spot: middle north building has 2 breech spots with 3 openings. NE corner has breech spot (egg hunt). Egg hunt: north east corner. Behind red urn with 2 white zig zag stripes. You must breach it first (in safeguard, it is breached). Middle north building, northern edge, the white roof can be walked upon.
  10. Invasion DLC Map: Pharoah:Early info, will get better. Anubis killstreak, get all perks and glow purple. Unsure whether it times out or lasts a certain number of lives, but you can be killed and keep it. Drop obelisk by b flag? Egg hunt (remember to go to squads> Invasion> safeguard> play now, to get the easiest access to this and have it count). North building, slightly east. Out of map in north burning area. Look up and through the flames, on wall past column. Secret chamber with care package (once per game activation): turn 3 torches that appear cocked to one side (x prompt on screen): 1. Sw building. 2 middle east building. 3. North building, west wall. Hit all 3, go to the north east section of the north building (by the cryptid egg). Door in the corner opens. Once you grab the package, you have a limited time to exit the room before the door permanently closes and fire jets fill the room. Scarab jars: these are jars with lids (that you can crawl through to see that they are empty) which rattle when you get near (inconsistent sound and distance trigger), but if you break them it releases attack bugs in a tiny area, which are lethal to any who are in the area or walk into it. They work through walls, where applicable.
  11. Favela! Maybe they read my thread about not printing till maps like bootleg and Hardhat... Ha. I'd take a non reskinned favela over one of those redone! I'm actually happy to see that map. The other stuff is so corny, hopefully it will play well. Honestly, cod sucks. That said, this cod, as unpopular as it is, plays very well. I recently put bo2 back in, and while it clearly is the best cod mp by Trollus, it sucks when compared to ghosts. Extinction is no zombies, but what can you do? If iw made zombies, at least we would see a lot less glitches/programming errors than we get from 3a, obvs.
  12. Zombie thread, reanimated. I loved ascension for 1 or 2 player games. When i played 4, the guy by the Lander by stamin up had all of the business in the map. The rest of us killed the occasional zombie on round 30. Here's a zombie, kill it, yawn, wait, kill zombie...
  13. 1. 'the alternate way, without being dead' could ref the free revives... 2. Just for the record, i never suggested everyone goes down, only that, if everyone is at their 'station', they may revive if downed. I'm not selling this, just guessing.
  14. You shouldn't have... That being said: when Der Riese was new, i hit the box, got some weird machine gun (type 99). The random next to me was freaking out that it was a rumor and you can not get the type 99. He called his buddy over (i didn't know any of the 3 randoms, but they knew each other), said 'you gotta see this' his buddy asked me to hold still do he could snap a picture of me holding it, which I/he did. I put it away because it wasn't very easy to use. I used my Thompson, and died eventually. Then i learned that it isn't even in the game files. Okay. Do not understand...

    Safeguard Game Mode

    Updated first post a lot recently to be clearer. Today, I edited it regarding player revives and i wanted to draw attention to it: When you revive a player, your screen corners turn green, similar to a ballistic vest (like the support killstreak), but it is not a normal ballistic vest that hits away in 1 bullet. What happens is either 1. that you gain the ability to heal very quickly for the remainder of the round, or 2. Your vest reduces the damage to the point where you seem to be able to heal faster than most damage is inflicted. Either way, the end result appears the same. Your screen corners remain green until the yellow corners appear at the end of the round. This ability may also have a time limit, but isn't normally reached before the round ends. /speculation.   16. Oh, my bad. The mp5k is often one of the early weapons, i guess the other one is here, sorry. The op mentioned the mp5k, so i had that in my thoughts as i posted.
  17. Start room, second hive challenge: find and kill the leper in 30 seconds. Not in the start area at all. Where would i find it? Both white doors were closed. I checked up the ramp, both sides alcoves, the start boat, the overhead crosswalk, ceilings, then double checked before the time ran out. No leper on the start area. How do i get him? Edit: now that i bought the 'start with skill point' in armory, i can see that they are red when on, black when off and can be toggled between the 2 states.
  18. Yes. I have never heard that. But then, one post down, Delta dislikes Der Riese, which is also unheard of. But then, codz is the only place that I've ever heard anyone say anything good about Moon, so we are an odd bunch here. Each to their own/to each his/her own.
  19. Playing solo Mayday extinction. I get to where the hypno trap schematics are. I search, find Semtex. I have bouncing betties, so i throw them down, grab the Semtex, grab the schematics and my Semtex in reserve turn into bouncing betties. I try to throw one down, but it's a Semtex and the bb icon in inventory changes back to Semtex. Shooting seeders used to take 6 magnum shots at point blank range. Today, it usually took 5, but often 6 hitmarkers and a few took 6 hits and had to be stabbed. All close range, neither of us moving, not being hit by anything, all to the yellow blob-back consistently. Why such discrepancies? Hunters, 6 magnum shots. But then, i have a brand new sentry gun on the top walkway, overlooking the hive on the boxes. He climbs up 50' from my sentry. The sentry stops oscillating, faces the hunter and does nothing. The hunter walks towards it, i hit him with 6 shots from short range (i was by the hive, he was less than 100' feet away in the corner), he lives, gets on my apparently retarded sentry. I hit him with 6 more shots (all 12 hitmarkers) and he dies just as he kills my sentry. I backed out right then, 2 revives unused in reserve. No wonder i rarely play this mode, so inconsistent. Last night, we played bo2 cod. As much as i feel bo2 is by far the best Trollarch attempt yet, holy crap that game is one glitchy mess. It's amazing how much better of a product iw makes when it comes to cod. So today, playing extinction, it gave me a 'playing Trollarch games' feel, if you know what i mean. Ha. Oh cod, you pathetic glitchy game franchise.
  20. Okay. Here's my crazy talk based on something that happened twice that nobody else seems to have experienced; I was in a 4 player game when BO2 was new, all at different sections of Tranzit. I was Samuel, i went down at Diner, nobody could get me. The bus passed me, i got a green sparkle, an audio cue from Richtofen, and I got up. Weird, but figured this was a normal part of Tranzit. Nobody had heard of this, i must be mistaken. Then, a while later. Playing offline split screen, my buddy gets downed (I'm fairly sure that he was Samuel, he definitely was at diner, the bus passed him while down). I couldn't get to him at all, i was at farm. Suddenly, I realize that he is up again. I asked how, he said there was 'one of those green sparkles' and he got up. Okay. Now the impossible occurred twice. While thinking on this today: Samuel looks the diner, says a few quotes about it. 'Staying here forever', 'living in a tunnel under it', when leaving he says 'goodbye' and wonders if he'll ever see it again. I can't recall who was what character in the 4 man game 1.5 years ago, but in the ss game, i was Misty, at the farm. Now, Misty says positive things about Farm, iirc. So, crazy theory inbound: if each character is at the correct map location per their preferences as dictated by individual quotes, then, if a player goes down; 1. You will get a free revive (once per game?). 2. There will be a small percentage that you will get a free revive. 3. You will get revived if the bus passes you. Bus revive. I know this happened, questioned my recollection, then it happened again. So it does happen, this is my best guess why it happens. Happy hunting!
  21. Ah. Thank you, sir. Appreciated, and if some is wrong, I understand. Edit: I've been soloing Mayday; pop 2 hives and a door and you are fighting the tentacle. Get tooth/repeat. I think that my teeth reset today, i should get on that.
  22. I have no proof, but hopefully by now it's become obvious that I'm very observant and curious. Bszombie said this and i agree; Jugger: used to be 3 downs with qr in one match. Then it changed, usually, if i died, let the game end, restart/3 times, i would get it. Sometimes there was no green flash, but the next try, it would take 4 hits to kill me. X2 seems to be tied to a certain number of points or kills during an x2. Phd usually took 6 flops from the saloon stairs to trigger it (occasionally 7, assumed buggy programming). Any nonflop fall damage makes it go away. Non perks: i know that I've discussed these, feel free to ignore this, but it happened: once at diner, as Samuel, 4 player online match, i was down. Nobody could get me. Green sparkles appeared and i got up and got an audio cue from Richtofen. Months later, offline, split screen, my friend was Samuel, at diner (i think) and he went down. I could not get to him. A minute later i notice that he is up. I said how did you get up? He said there was one of those green flashes and i got up. Nobody else seems to have experienced this. 2 player ss, if i didn't get him up, who did? Die Rise: I often hit the key button on the elevators as if it would call them, it doesn't. Then, one day the elevator (to the right of Sliq table) left as i came up to it. I hit x on the key pad (no key, no 'building key' animation), got a green sparkle and the elevator immediately returned to my level. So maybe if everyone keeps hitting that key pad, someone can figure this puzzle out. Happy hunting!
  23. The Galvaknuckles room. Down in the shaft. At release, one could stand on the ledge just outside of the GK room, and every zombie would load and come out of the lone opening by the GK wall buy, making 100 rounds of yawn-fest with the Sliq, none could get up the incline to you. Post-patch. One could still fight on the ledge, but the zombies fall from above as well. But if you stand to the right of the door and Sliq the zombies on the ledge outside of the GK room, you were practically invincible, but you were always looking at zombies about a foot away, though not taking damage. If you slid to the edge of the ledge, you will stop right on the edge and not fall.

  25. I'm with you grill, they would have helped the game as unlocks. I'm not a huge extinction fan, but find myself playing when there are teeth in the pool, do that helped get me into it. Camo unlocks would be nice as i don't like them enough to buy, but would use them, and try for them, if unlockable.
