Using buddha room: Run counter clockwise. Run up the broken column, fire at the train, fall off, run to corner by circular doorway to nowhere, fire at train, run to the right of the fallen column that leads to catwalk, fire at train, run to open area near pink mattresses, fire at train, repeat. If you fall off of the broken column into a crowd, reverse, run down the other side of the broken column, cut across center, resume loop. You can go up to the catwalk, make a left, hang out there until overrun, then follow the steps above. There is only one place that they jump up. Otherwise sliq away. Jumping jerks: go up to catwalk, make left, just past the support beam turn around, drop ts on red line just past where zombies/jerks jump up. Squat behind it with it between you and the incoming ones. Claymores at your back because 1-3 will jump across from the power area.

And it's not fixed either. Last man alive, running to get two downed teammates who were by the AN...Yeah you get where this is going. Me as well. Everytime I bring up bo2, it tells me my persistnt data is corrupt and I am reset to level 3. I went to mp, i am still my lowly 24, but it tells me every time now that i am level 3. Also in Tranzit, when my buddy goes into the fog it loads 2 foggies by me as well, which run off after him. Now getting attacked by 2foggies x number of players is happening. Good job Treyargh, once again you fulfilled my prophesy of your persistant fail mode. (Slow clap).

My xbox tends to call bo2 unreadable unless I turn it off and back on, but then it works fine.

It isn't just on the elevators, I get them standing around windmilling everywhere around power/sliq. They wave their arms for a few seconds, run at you but as you move to the side, they stop moving. Repeat as needed to get past them. Sometimes i'll come down an elevator, find a clump of arm-wavers waiting, they stumble onto the elevator, sometimes trapping me. Ever since the feb update. I can't wait to see what this update ruined...(3.12.2013).

Did they add some more glitches while ignoring the slide glitches?/ not bitter at all/ sarcasm. Sorry, I had to joke to ease the pain of knowing they probably did more harm than good... Edit: oh good, fixed some more exploits... Hmmm, where is the mention of the game-ending slide glitches? Oh, that's right, there wasn't any mention of that was there?

There is a floor below power, where you build the sliquifier. The elevator drops below that so we can get on it. There is no floor below the floor below power.

Iirc, tombstone in Favela mw2.

I went for speed, quit on 61 after 108 minutes. Round 50 in 1.5 hours.

Are the free perks really rewarded for 100% accuracy?

Semtex/grenades work fine, even if you miss. Semtex the heck out of your buddies, just be wary of their ts's. -
I'm not so sure, I imagine areas like the buddha and upside down hole were designed with the slopes in mind, and to be used as described by yourself but not the ones like the galva. I can't imagine Treyarch designing a gun which enables someone to not move an inch, and get to ridiculous high rounds. No way they would clear the boards and patch them just because some people complain. Many many more people used them than complained about them. Well sure. I'll go with 'it is debatable". What we know so far: this is what the gun does, they 'fixed' some spawns (while glitching the crap out of the zombies), but the gun still works more or less the same. Making it seem that this is what they wanted. And: treyargh really sucks at programming games, based on experience with waw, bo, bo2. Oh god, bo sucked. Worst cod in most opinions that I have heard, game breaking zombie glitches... Remember Moon? Ugh, who would want to? So, I can imagine what you cannot. :)

To clarify: you shoot the floor, the zombies slip and slide...and accumulate, shoot the floor some more after a reasonable amount of time to keep the zombies trapped, then at max number, shoot a zombie, bye bye wave of zombies. Yes, shooting the floor is key, not wrong. I fully understand anyone who does not wish to play that way. It is not a glitch, it is easy or cheap. I enjoy playing the game various ways from boring to stupid hard and everything in between. Clearly the gun was designed for this. Clearly spots like the galvaroom were specifically designed to be used this way. Either too many whiners or observations by Treyfail made them decide to alter the spawns to minimize the overuse of the gun in that way. I am fine with this, let us just keep sanity in the thread and not claim that it is glitched. A zombie taking 4 gk shots on round 10 is a glitch. The death slides are both obviously glitched. An overpowered gun is not. Cheap? Yes. Glitched? Clearly not.

Samuel stuhlanger aka stu. Hears voices, is really dumb.

I still feel solo would go to a higher round. But this is hypothetical/academic. Edit: honestly, it might well depend on the players. Some here would do better, farther, in a group, while others would do better solo.
-
The one that really shines for you. Originally Russman failed for me, but then he became my 'winner': it seems that if I have him, I will go far. Misty and Marlton have always done fine, but not the highest rounds. Samuel just sucks for me. I don't even mind the noises, he just gets ripped off the most. Does anyone else pay attention to this?
-
It depends, but in general, solo is easiest to me. Online with unknowledgeable players is a disaster. I will try not to take charge, which results in me listening to people argue over competitively bad ideas... I am a natural leader and have friends that recognize that I know what I am doing and so will take my advice over their own whims and those make for great games. I listen and learn from them too, as any good leader should. I need alone time and zombies is great for that, but the camaraderie of an mp zombies game is good for the soul as well. I have baz (bad at zombies friend), whom I split-screen with. He is so bad that our games tend to end well before round 10 (solo, I kill myself between 30-60 usually), so having another player or two there to help me pick him up definitely improves my split-screen games... So it is all subjective.

I haven't run that yet, but it is larger and better lit than the area outside of farm, one of the best in Tranzit. It is next on my list. I avoided the Buddha room for the longest time, so I am still using that one right now. Edit: to those unsure of the spot; drop down to the pink mattresses from the trample steam room. Fall backwards down one level, then the area is on your right.
-
Well, that is the idea. If you don't wish to use it as was intended, it always acts like a 1-hit kill pink shotgun with a slick floor drawback. I often play games where I boringly sit somewhere with it, but I have much more fun skipping it and just using regular guns. I doubt that you would often take out entire waves without using the boring method (shrug).

High rounds. Get on the top of the broken column in the buddha room. Sliq the floor at the base of the column. Occasionally hit the floor again or it stops being slick. You fire more at the ground than the zombies. Escalator room, debris in place. Fire into the corner by the wall. Set a ts to fling you sideways and test it to make sure that you take no damage. Drop claymores to watch your back, aim away from the ts. I believe the top of the glitched elevator shaft can be used. The ts room, with the escalator debris in place, stand nearest the dragon roof, slick the floor just in front of you... Dragon ramp, ts on top of ramp where they land when they jump up (angle it at the antenna in case it flings you). Sliq bottom of ramp.

In my experience, white is always host. Am I mistaken?
-
Die Rise: not sure how repeatable...but others have done it. I was at the gun elevator (by remington/mp5), waiting for it to go down (level with sliq foot), I had my back to it and was pulling backwards on the control stick. When the elevator began to move, I walked backwards through dt2 and was on the elevator behind it. I couldn't get out after rounds of trying. Once my buddy died, they came for me. They would jump through me into the shaft, then they would be under the elevator, if it went down, they sometimes hit my feet. Otherwise I was untouchable.
-
When hybrid camping/kiting, remember this: zombies love the host the most. They will run past others to get the host, if split up, host sees the most action usually, depending on certain load areas. So make sure that a great kiter is host.

Sliq use solo: 61 killed self, no previous downs. No sliq solo dragon roof: 25 Mild sliq use solo in Buddha room: 33, killed self. 2 man no sliq dragon roof: 30 4 players, one left drunk at 25: 31 on dragon roof. Edit: spacing for clarity.

Team Camping vs. Solo Training (A strategy debate)
83457 replied to ETEl2NAL407's topic in General Zombies Discussion
You're a good person E407, Fun is the most important strategy. If I play with low-skill/knowledge players, I know the game won't get far, so I concentrate on making it a fun learning experience. If one can achieve that, you will develop great teammates. They will even most likely be biased towards playing the way you prefer, at least initially, making teammates that trust you and vice versa. -
Pointers: buy claymores. In who's who, they give you claymores. Drop them as you run up to revive yourself. Also works on others, drop a claymore as you come up to them with the horde in tow. Once you hit your max claymore limit, they explode as you try to drop them, this makes an excellent weapon: face the crowd, attempt to drop claymore...boom. Don't open the escalator debris in Die Rise. You can use the pdw room as a temporary camp spot or a sliq camp spot. If you leave it closed, the zombies will only come into the trample steam room from the window, elevator, and above the pink mattresses, leaving the area nearest the dragon roof zombie free. You can even stand by the edge and sliq the slightly ramped floor there to stay safe.

Man do I miss the pre-black ops 2 zombies
83457 replied to Nasdaq401's topic in General Zombies Discussion
The reprints make for a different game, and so are worth having, but imo, waw is much, much better. I like bo2 and waw best. Bo certainly had its moments. But having almost the exact same uselessish weapons on the wall in each map was, frankly, crap.
