  2. Was there a new one today? There was a game update a few days ago, made the Sliquifier a 1 of, instead of 4 person gun. Herp to the derp. They hotfixed the script error local offline glitch, but if you don't have xbl, you can't stay hotfixed and so, if you don't have xbl, you cannot play Die Rise at all. I imagine this will be addressed as soon as patchable, but the poor bastards without xbl are in a bad way.

  4. That is exactly what i do, but it got me twice since using that method. I never had a Richtofen laugh, just a 'bug'. At Megaton: if i go down by power all of my zombies usually die, completely untouched by me. Almost every game. Sometimes they respawn once or twice before it happens, but they all die. Sometimes it is riding the elevator up to the dragon roof. They just all die. The next round starts. I'm on xbl with all updates... If I jump down from the trample steam room, they all jump up the side of the building and the round usually ends. I have not yet died to the first slide, but it has red-ringed me. The one above the an-94 is the one that really sucks.

  7. I didn't view the video, but there are a few spots that are good, while camping the dragon roof, we jump back to the trample steam room and make a wall in the corner where you jump to the pink matresses below. I had 6 perks yesterday, bought only 2, lost them all to the glitch...
  8. I don't think it can get easier than tranzit. Tranzit is 4 solo games at once. If a player dies, no problem, come back next round and get everything you need, even points if you were out. Heck, friends can give you points if need be. DR is quite easy, quite fast. But it is the first time since Der Riese that you can actually get a 4 man camp going. I knew all through bo that I missed the camping of waw (back then, I was one of those weird people that kited or 'trained' zombies, which was rare, now the norm), now we have so many areas to try. Even if you don't get the highest rounds ever, there is probably 10 cool camping spots for mp zombies.
  9. For me, it drops them in the air in the elevator shaft... If you take the start room elevator, you can sometimes walk pieces over to the buyable door and drop them close enough to get them from the other side without opening the start room door. Edit: this line is wrong, I can get them stuck through the door, but can't pick them up. However, use the grab/drop trick in Tranzit to get things out of their respective sheds, leave them in front of shed so you can come back later without the turbine to get them. They will stay there all game. Note that in DR solo, the flinger can get you the 'face the dragon' achievement of getting to the dragons face on the ramp on turn 1. Or just get 1000 and take the start room elevator to power, open power (1000), go up elevators (assumes zombies don't all die to glitch) to 66th floor, go to dragon. Also note: open start room door, go down one level on qr elevator (solo only), buy pdw. The other elevator is off, the escalator is blocked. A few zombies come in window, most come from hallway and qr elevator: very easy early point spot for people new or not great at zombies. You have the escalator room for extra run away space. You can camp the escalator later with the Sliquifier for a near-cheating zombie slaying experience.
  10. After listening to constant complaints online and asking some questions. It almost seems like everyone going down has the an-94 in hand when it glitches. Now, if you notice, the an-94 is on the wall below this area. Maybe the gun wall icon glitches your speed so that it throws you so hard into the wall that you die, get stuck, bounce up in the air. If you have who's who, you can't even revive yourself because you are glitched on the slide. This and the 'zombies just die for no reason' glitch are breaking DR. I guess nobody would ever die in bo2 if not for the glitches... So, later in the day, when you die to this glitch, pay attention to what you had and provide feedback so maybe it can get fixed sooner than later (or never, knowing Treyargh). ---- In solo, you are kind of stuck using the glitched slide sometimes, but in mp zombies, use this workaround: get knuckles before too many perks, so you won't lose much to this ubiquitous glitch, then never go down there again (also, travel with a buddy for when the inevitable rip off occurs). If you like the an-94 and like to run back for ammo (and pap'd ammo): get trample steams (flingers) place one so that it flings you to the dragon building (leave it there, usually it flings a few zombies but remains unharmed). When you need ammo, take a flinger to the ledge (on power level and one below) across from the red Buddha room, fling over there, run to an, buy ammo, come back avoiding troublesome glitch (pick up flinger). Good luck not getting pooped on by Treyfail programming! I love their glitchy zombies...

    THE RISE

    By verkut, i assume you meant 'zombie verruckt' (in bo it was just verruckt) verruckt means crazy or insane and there is an umlat over the U. I thought Die Rise was German for the rise. It is, but after hearing Treyfail discuss it, I see that it is Die Rise in English, a play on high rise (sometimes writ hi rise) which was another term for skyscraper.
  12. Cool, we needed this for the information seekers and newbies. 2 things: 1. At least half of the Der Riese players open the thompson side, maybe a dual description depending on side opened. If some newbie opened the trenchgun side while the other side is open, that would suck. Just a thought. I play either way, but would always recommend opening thompson as it is generally easier. 2. Double tap root beer is incorrect and ignores that in bo2, it is double tap 2. Iirc (check these 'facts' of mine before posting, but) dt makes your gun fire at 1.6x. Dt2 makes it fire 2 bullets per bullet, essentially doubling the rate of fire while consuming the same amount of ammo. Dt consumed ammo faster... Thanks for posting and reading.
  13. Seconded, different game entirely. I can wander around bo2 zombies any day, but these speed demon, human controlled, freakalopes are a different story...

  15. Hey GRILL, thanks for the back up and sorry I'm still mad at bl2... You don't have to be mad at it or not play it. Each to their own, no? I loved it for a couple of days. /heartbroken. My mp zombies have been no issue: I zombie sit. It seems that once I zombie sit for 10 minutes, there is always some reason someone gets trapped in a corner by it and kills it while I have no ammo and am trying not to die alone to the slide glitches... But I love to play solo zombies. I have tried taking a crowd with me, I walk through a door...new round starts...seriously?! I have no faith in Treyargh... But I love the zombies. Happy gaming (even if it is bl2!)! :)

    Max bank amount?

    Local forgets everything as soon as the game ends. Start game, pick up navcard, game ends. New game, no navcard. Don't use the bank as it can glitch your main account. You can still store a full gun at the fridge in case you run out of ammo while running in front of farm, but it won't stay between games. The Tranzit spawn glitch occurs in Die Rise constantly. Why would they fix Tranzit and leave the same error in DR? It is more game ruining in DR...
  17. Happens constantly in Die Rise. Not fixed. If they fixed Tranzit, cool, but it is terrible in Die Rise...that and the slide glitches are what most people in game talk about. I figured there would be more on it here....
  18. But you liked Moon? I have never known anyone to like Moon before I joined this forum. It usually gets hated on. I love them all, but Moon is probably far down my list. It was way too easy like Ascension, cotd, and kino, but the glitches and annoyance factor made it terrible for solo or ss with a subpar zombie slaying friend. Each to their own! But we have so many choices between Bleak Oops an this game and WaW. Fun.
  19. 1. Why doesn't my sliquifier kill groups like that? I heard this, mine has never worked like that. I fire into 10 zombies and i have 10 squirming zombies...that are alive. It rarely kills on a direct hit...the floppy guys take 3-4 shots alone. They slide around in the goo and live. 2. Before the buddha room and the room before that, you get to an opening in the side of the building and there is openable debris and one window (just around the corner from the bottom of the glitched shaft-slide and an-94) If you shoot the hall floor there, the same thing happens, fire into the window and they can't get to the window to break the boards down either. Not as good as the spot shown here, but the next best I could find.
  20. So, the number one complaints in xbl games is the zombie nonspawn glitch and the 2 slide glitches. Well, I was trying to find consistancy in the second slide glitch, I can't. But I was trying. What I did find: i bought qr, went to the second slide (it kills you even with jugger). I found that if you fall to the nearest edge of the slide (rust-colored part with sections, the last part before you get dropped by the an-94), it will kill you, you drop onto your butt. If you turn sideways, you should get stuck on the wall just above the an-94 and the zombies walk down next to you, but jump off and leave you alone. Just funny. Maybe if everyone goes to 100 in a glitch, they will patch this quicker. I was talking to friends who had not experienced the glitch; they assumed people were going down already hurt, but by round 20, it had gotten everyone at least once and some of them twice (it got me once and I thought I had perfected the safest way to avoid it, but no). It simply glitches your speed way too high and flings you, usually at a strange angle, into the corner to die. Oh well, let us pray it gets patched.
  21. As of 2.2.2013 at 4:30 am est, the zombies all die off if you move away from them. Xbox, not fixed. Sometimes the game works right, usually it does not. Has anyone heard any news on this and the slide glitches? Both slides randonly kill undamaged players (if you are damaged and ride it, that's your fault). Also, the first slide sometimes drops players off the map instead. I know that some take time to fix and some get hotpatched in live. The script error for local offline ss was hotpatched, but last night, going from one room to another, 15 zombies died as I left the room. Zombies dying glitch has ended almost every dr game so far. I thought Treyfail patched it, but no, they glitches the Sliquifier instead... Honestly this reminds me of Bordomlands 2: the game has (still) game breaking issues (that is why everyone has turned it in or shelved it after the first 3 weeks, gbx fail), but they nerf Michael Mamaril, which just adds insult to glitchery... That guy loved bl1, I doubt he wants his name in bl2...
  22. Amazingly wonderful map. I noticed that in solo, because of qr being active, you can build the flinger right from start. For what it is worth. Good: too much. Bad: glitches. Sliquifier glitched. Both slides glitched (you can mostly avoid one, but the second is really bad). The 'tranzit' spawning glitch ends most of my games... If they can address these glitches rther than do the usual Treyfailmode (fix no zombie glitches), this will be even more fun than Tranzit.
  23. Hi. I know what you mean. It was hotpatched already. I first played offline ss, no problem. Then tried to play solo offline...bzzzt. Script error. Hotfixed. Note that the zombie death glitch was not patched as of 2.2.2013 4:30am est. You walk into another room and, if it is the last wave, they all die instead of respawning elsewhere. Note that recent update in game glitches the Sliquifier so only one player can get it... Please fix Die Rise, it is rare to not die to a glitch...
  24. I used it twice so far, i was hoping to hear better stories than mine. 1. Misjumped, fell to my death, ww loaded me in the air, falling to my death (with teammates watching, laughing). 2. Solo. The zombies all died to the annoying death glitch, i got overrun at power, all of them standing around, ww loads me in a corner behind a wall of zombies. So far, the perk has failed me. When will they fix the death glitch? Ugh.
  25. Xbox post patch/update: Tranzit zombies dying glitch also ruins Die Rise games. While kiting at farm Tranzit mode, drops often lack green and glowing aura, just golden parts show. Sometimes can't be picked up. While ads at a crowd of zombies, they often hit you even though 20+ away. More invisible zombies than bo or waw. Record games, watch theater and compare. Since update sliquifier glitched, can't be picked up by more than 1. Die Rise: slide between buildings often kills undamged players. Same with area by an-94. Most games I have been in ended from these glitches. Instakill still stops working while icon is still on screen (since waw times and the numeric timer), recordable, viewable in theater iirc. Instakill often does not work at all (Tranzit, presumably Die Rise as well). Unload rpd into crowd, none die... Tranzit and Die Rise: zombies take various amounts of damage (may just be Treyargh's patented nondetection programming). Round 2 zombie taking 8 shots, 3 stabs. Obviously viewable in theater, points given for hits, zombie remains unharmed. Buying wall items often impossible if lots of zombies on screen. A few times, massive frame rate drop: last night, got turbine, hit box, pap'd ballistic, pap'd (4 burst gun), start next round, extremely slow frame rate-unplayable. Xbl solo game. More (it is Treyargh...) to be listed.
