I would like to point out that Rictofen is an omnipresent being since the Moon EE. He can do what he wants, he can talk to who he wants, and he can control who is listening. The only likely reason that he chose Samuel, yes, chose, is because he believes in the conspiracy theories. His mind is weak. Marlton would never listen to a random voice, as I'm sure Misty wouldn't either. Russman would pass it off as he's hearing voices because he's getting old. That leaves Samuel. The man who believes in everything the government wants to hide. He's the perfect choice. The rest of the crew would expect Samuel to act erratically, to claim he was hearing voices telling him to do something. It wouldn't be odd. He is the best pawn for Rictofen to use to advance his own agenda.

Perhaps we will make a much larger trichrotomus system
Taklok replied to FatedTitan's topic in TranZit
Honestly, Treyarch does what Treyarch wants. They do what they think would be cool. I mean, look at how many zombie games I'm sure Paris is a part of. They WANTED to do Paris, but then thought Moon was cooler, so they did that. I'm sure they think Tranzit is really cool, or otherwise they wouldn't have done it. I'm just saying :P -

Thank you! I was looking into this myself after posting that. Now, I'd just like everyone to keep in mind, it could just be another generic power tower like in TranZit. The Riga Radio and TV Tower seems promising..... EDIT: Just realized after some research that there's a replica of the Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas that is one half the size of the original. Now, if Treyarch REALLY wanted to troll us...... Slots anyone? Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paris_Las_Vegas -

Precisely what I've been saying from day one. Now the question is, where would the third spire be? -
So, anyone remember the silly theory about shooting/exploding all the clocks? Why not remake the times shown BY the clocks now? Seems logical to me.

BirdDog Dan Tranzit EE next step train station |Update|
Taklok replied to blackfire561's topic in TranZit
Thanks for sharing that information. I'll be sure to inform NGTZombies about this find. I just tried this out. I can confirm this is 100% legit. Didn't have to beat that dead horse for hours though. If you put a turbine near it, the turbine re-animates it, giving you a zombie horse that you can ride. After that you proceed normally though. -
He, I mean they, is obviously A) Multiple people posting or Faking to be multiple people posting.

Like it didn't smell fishy before? Gotta give this guy some credit though, at least he's consistent. I don't trust it until I see some ACTUAL EVIDENCE FIRST though.
-
Nope. Spiderbite from NGTZombies has tried everything. Everything BUT hitting it with a Laundro-Beam ;D (Yes, the bus goes under it, but that's about it)
-
I think it may have to do with the Laundro-Beams. DO the beams ever go through THAT street light? If so, maybe you have to wait until you get the orb there, and then try to get a beam to go through it?
-
Yep! Don't get the game until Christmas though. I will add you though. Hold on just a second....

Fated, I knew I liked you for a reason. Thank you. And no, don't you guys even bring up the moon EE. Yes, that required things from two different EEs. But the difference here is those two EEs were already there prior, and I don't think we would have needed those items (yet) if Moon was actually set in Paris like they planned. Moon was the next map. They decided to require the two prior EEs to do that one. I don't see them putting something in a map, having the next map have something that the previous map EE required, and having to go back. Not only does it just not seem right from a logical stand point, it doesn't seem right from a DESIGN standpoint. So yes, NavCard is to be used now. How? I don't know, can't say that much. That right there is all I can say in that regard. And I think you are right about the electronics. We WILL find the right NavCard. It's only a matter of time. And.... commitment. *badum tish*

Listen to the radio transmissions via the TV on the Farm, or just look up an audio video of the radio quotes. You'll see what we mean ;)
-
Yeah, Spiderbite will probly have a video of the Maxis thing up sooner or later XD You're welcome, Spider ;)
-
Yes... I see. Tempted to make a very, very long theory video detailing this whole Maxis thing farther.... And thanks ihurt!
-
Precisely. Power goes off for Maxis because otherwise he can't communicate BECAUSE of the power. The power being on interferes with whatever he's sending, therefore disabling his ability to talk to us. That would be why he makes no attempt whatsoever to stop us while helping Richtofen; because the power is on.

Yes, O4 did play favorites. It wasn't strictly two sides. Everyone had a favorite, and everyone wanted to kill somebody. That's why these new characters struck me as odd. They have strictly two sides. Treyarch does everything they do for a reason. I doubt this will be the exception. Now, as for Maxis not responding, I'm going under the whole "lesser of two evils" theory. They are pawns. As long as they accomplish his goal for the tower, he doesn't care. As another guess, the radio is one way. He can talk, but can't hear. Now, I hear you guys saying "Oh, well Tak! How does he know when we complete the steps?!" Simple. He speaks through the electronics, wherever they are. Think of him as a magical electrical surge. He requires the power off because the electricity interferes with the signal he is sending. Now, as for how he knows, everything in his EE (I think, correct me here if I'm wrong) has to do with electricity in some form. He has had this planned out for a long time, that much we know. Now, he detects what we have/have not done via the amount of electrical interference there is. For example, when he wants us to kill The Avogadro. Just a thought.

I wish you luck, Fated. If this character chemistry goes nowhere in Tranzit, I have a feeling it will have a part in future maps. Bit odd the way they designed these new character's thoughts about one another compared to the Original Four, to be honest.
-
Perhaps. Damn it, now I want to test this. Won't be getting the game again until Christmas though :/ Someone needs to look into this though. It's getting interesting now.
-
Thanks, and yes, that would be the one issue I have. It wouldn't surprise me if it were the case though. Sounds like something Treyarch would do. And destroying all the electronics with EMPs.... Interesting. Worth a shot at least. Nav card reader COULD be evil box thing. That would explain why it refuses all our navcards...

This got me thinking..... What if it WAS required to have two players do one side, and the other's do one side? It would make sense, really, as we already have the two factions similar to the Jackass Flats scenario. Don't believe me? Look at the character quotes! To put it simply, Misty likes Marlton, but hates Stuhlinger, who returns said affection. Now, if we look at Marlton, he likes Misty, but HATES Russman. Know who Russman likes? Yep. Samuel. Now naturally, Marlton is a man of science. Who is he going to follow more? Stuhlinger with the "voices" that only he can hear, or a voice that sounds like something electronic? That being said, WHAT IF the people who played Misty and Marlton completed Maxis's side, while Russman and Stuhlinger completed Richtofen's? It would be difficult as for the commitment thing, but it's worth a shot.

Three words. Double. Decker. Bus.

What if 3arc kept putting W@W maps in future DLC?
Taklok replied to Cheesekake76's topic in General Zombies Discussion
What about a TranZit map combining the WaW maps, plus Kino, plus giving us the individual maps to play on. Dunno about you guys, but I'd buy that. Then again, I never bought the maps in WaW, just Black Ops. -
Nice to see someone else agrees with the Eiffel Tower theory. That's literally all I've been thinking for the past few days. And how do we tie it into Tranzit? Denizen teleported messing up, a double decker bus, and this viewtopic.php?f=120&t=24897 .
-
UK, Paris, either way, we have the opportunity for a DOUBLE DECKER BUS! Make it happen Treyarch.
