  1. couldn't find the other topic discussing the counter... how are you guys getting it to go down? i tried last night but it stayed at 10/10 when i killed a Margwa with it. EDIT: can someone please explain the cocoon's that people talk about too. i haven't seen a pic or anything to support it.
  2. why can't you go back in the editor and look there, screenshot or phone pic.
  3. I just finished a game where I had everything pretty much, reborn sword, margwa head, apothican servant, five perks, blah, blah.. i was at a loss as to what to do next to upgrade this damn thing, and as I was killing in the pack a punch room (1st part of the room, with the table) I had a Margwa to deal with, I shot one of the heads (pap'd weapon) and heard the same voice you hear when you build the apothican servant. (I know this has been mentioned before by others) pretty sure we need to either get kills in that room with the servant, or lure and kill margwas somehow in that room as much as possible until something happens. how the margwa heads relate to the apothican servant is beyond me, the similar voices heard from the servant suggest otherwise. point being: the Margwas are unaffected by the apothican servant. suggestion: try to get the apothican servant asap. then do the arch ovum steps, lure all of the margwas from each step to the pack a punch room and kill them there. this could be why the one margwa spawns in the pap room when we get the gate worms done. sort of a hint i guess. could the voice be telling me to use the reborn sword to kill margwas there?
  4. might be a dumb question, but has anyone tried to create and upgrade the sword before doing any rituals? I just realized the symbols seen from the train are there before the PaP room is even open.
  5. 1. new emblem each time 2. unlocks (why not unlock the best gobble gum or an LMG) 3. if you have 2xp it will go quicker, so why not?
  6. i kinda like that its hard to figure out this time, makes me think a lot of the people will give up and the OG zombie hunters will be the ones to reveal it finally.
  7. i still want to add my created paint job to my bowie knife..whats up with that still not accessible?
  8. if anything, prestige up to get a new emblem. the first ones suck. also: you get to unlock something each time...why not unlock the last/best gobble gum and maybe the Dingo? makes total sense. you're just blowing it.
  9. obviously a K
  10. After reading this thread, i just thought of something. What if we can't even upgrade this until we go to the next DLC map and aquire something? a.k.a. Ice element - from a winter map. Like how in call of the dead you vould get the vrill device and have it for shangri-la. Maybe they just went backwards with the same idea. Making us wait and have us need the next DLC. This all of course depends on which four players we use in the new DLC.
  11. finally we are getting somewhere. i still think we have to build it, use it, replace it, and then get it again from the box rounds later.
  12. only thing I've noticed recently is the flickering light in the gym that looks like it puts a target on the ground. from entrance looking into gym, its the light hanging from the ceiling on the left. at the corner of the ring.
  13. how is it that theres only a handful of people talking about anything new?
  14. there HAS to be more to it, watched a few videos today to get some ideas... 1. whats up with the unopened rift door behind the pod in the subway? 2. green streetlight/lamp at the waterfront is either a nod to tranzit, a way to get you to look for the jump scare, or actually has some significance a.k.a. we throw something near it. 3. zombies being sucked into the pack a punch machine? wth? 4. upgrading the ww. (my guess is getting kills with it (maybe in a certain place), then letting it go back to the mystery box, and getting it again. hopefully upgraded or able to be put in pack a punch. I would love to hear other's theories, especially those who actually still frequent this site. not enough discussion in here anymore. is it because everyone wants to keep their ideas to themselves and get the credit when they themselves post a video of something new? personally, I am getting used to Shadows of Evil now and need something more to look for.
  15. cool thanks. i had a feeling thats what you meant.
  16. makes sense. the mystery box is the cocoon.
  17. probably just an audio cue to let you know you wasted a lil arne. like when you throw a monkey bomb outside the map on other maps and samantha laughs.
  18. thanks! I couldn't see that it was attached to the jacket. (side note: this site is a fractional shadow of what it used to be, where is everyone? was 3 years too long to wait?)
  19. anyone ever try to be in Beast mode and jump into the water near the waterfront?
  20. by now you've probably seen or heard about the 500 extra points to be had after opening the first door in Shadows of Evil, and I wanted to create a thread to help others with the task if they choose to try it out themselves. open door from spawn and turn right to see Chang's Laundry, stand near barrels(at opening to the right of large main window), cook a grenade and throw just before detonation to reveal a laundry bill for 500 points on the crates in front of you. does anyone know exactly where to throw the grenade? the best way i can get it to work is to cook it until the reticle pulses three times and just after that, throw the grenade into the back of the room just to the right of the cash register. anyone have a better technique? sometimes it takes me a round or two to get it right, just looking for a better way. I also think there's more of these around the map, maybe one in each area? seems weird they only did it once with so many detailed interiors that are inaccessible this time around. anyone else get the feeling there's more?
  21. going to try the duplicating zombies with beast mode, thanks for that, will help with all the point farming I do. here's my tips 1. try to get bowie knife early. 2. use bug and meatball rounds (save one bug) to use a beast mode and get stuff done. easier than one fast zombie following you, or two slow ones. 3. after opening Pack a Punch and killing the Margwa that spawns, get the 3 train symbols, and go back to subway during the same round, use beast mode to: smash statue box, zap three symbols for egg/sword, zap widows wine, mule kick, the door above and stamina-up all in one. EDIT: using beast mode to zap zombies after hording them up is brilliant. thanks to whoever figured that one out. I had everything but the ww by round 12 by duplicating zombies from round one to round three, only using one beast mode per round though. it makes the first few rounds a little more challenging (having to zap zombies and get things done in beast mode at the same time) but totally worth it. I also tried keeping the gatekeepers alive from when you pick up the items, and leading them to the ritual site to die there, spawning in two more zombies, that works good too.
  22. was waiting for someone to post about this... i like that they changed the animations, now they don't just walk straight at you with barely any head movement. they also changed how many bullets a zombie can take before dying now too. now you can get an extra bullet in before knifing for a kill on rounds past round 2.
  23. the gun I unlocked was the Dingo so it also may be connected to using all attachments on the Dingo, the person who had the same problem said they were using it as well.
  24. I just had my game freeze over and over trying to start Zombies matches on xbox one. was reading the activision support twitter, and saw someone with the same issue. if you've just prestiged and your weapon that you unlocked has all its attachments on, you run the chance of bugging out your zombies experience. just a heads up in case people come here to look for answers. just remove all the attachments.
