  1. I was going to be happy either way with what this is, but what I wanted was a steampunk-esque WW2 setting. I think that would've been awesome to see, but I really doubt it.

  3. So i have seen many posts about the cutscene being the actual 'origins' of zombies and some posts saying the opposite. I'm going to make this post as non-biased as i can. Reasons for the cutscene being the actual beginning: 1. Lots of things don't add up on origins, such as how maxis' brain is in a drone. 2. If the apocalypse happened in WWI then how was there a WWII for them to create their so called 'super-soldiers' to try and win the war if it never happened? 3.Samantha states in the cutscene "my dad says he has a plan" This was said when her and 'Eddie' were talking about their 'heroes'(Nikolai, Dempsey, Richtofen and Takeo). This implys that he actually has these people locked up to be tested on to make them super soldiers. 4. In the intro the trailer plays out and then Sam says "My name is Samantha, and i'm going to tell you all this, really began". The way i see it, the gameplay of us as the players doing the easter egg represents the gameplay in the trailer and the ending cutscene represents the quote i previously stated. Reasons for Origins being the actual beginning: 1. Fluffy was described as a German Shepard(Sheperd, Shepard idk) throughout every other radio and everything else and in the ending cutscene was not 2. Samantha doesn't seem fully in control yet. The voice that tells us "insta-kill" etc is more than likely Samantha, but doesn't sound that much like her. This could possibly mean she is "getting used to the aether" I personally believe the cutscene is the beginning of zombies, there is a little more proof for it than Origins Will keep updating this with more stuff i find out, stay tuned

  6. hey, i've only played origins on tuesday and havent played since and between then and now, i have been watching alot of videos and most of these things haven't been mentioned
  7. Heyall, got a few things people havent seemed to notice so here we go Compilation of Quick Tips If the panzer soldat zombie robot thing is after you, get your whole team to get on the tank. If the whole team jump on then it shuts down for quite a while. Even if only you do, the robot wont go for you. Phd, deadshot, electric cherry and double tap arent on the map but are obtainable by using the random perk machine Knife the panzer zombie when it is pulling you in to get the achievement kung fu grip and it lets you down. Shooting the massive robots foot when the lights are on will let you inside the robot if you stand under correctly. There is a part for the wind staff in each robot's head The remington new model isnt in the box, wtf? The maxis drone can revive players, you can also revive players in zombie blood and the upgraded 'ultimate staffs' can revive players, too if you use the thing on left on the D-pad. This will get you an achievement To claim the following rewards, go to either spawn and go to the grey box on the floor or the one outside of the church or the one below where PaP is(excavation site) If you do the challenge of getting 115 headshots in one game claim your reward of double tap 2.0, free. If you turn on every generator go and claim the prize of a random drop If you spend 30,000 points in one game, go claim your free pack-a-punched weapon
  8. -Favourite layout? Der Riese. Just so simple but great fun at the same time -Favourite starting room? Ohhh that's a tricky one. Buried is interesting because technically the starting room is where you can go without paying for door and you can get to almost anywhere if you count that. I'd have to say Call of the Dead because it wasn't just your simple 4 barriers in and indoor environment and we saw some first room riser spots. -Favourite map with the best wall weapons? Die Rise. It has the PDW-57 which is just epic, the AN-94 which is also amazing with the ammo capacity especially PaP'd and the SVU-AS which is the first ever sniper off the wall which has a big clip size and pretty powerful. -Favourite map with the best Wonder Weapon(s)? I'm tied between Moon and Die Rise. On Moon you get two mini WunderWaffes and a Microwave gun. On Die Rise you get the Sliquifier which is amazing for high rounds and also hilarious to watch zombies hit the deck and you also get both ray guns. Can't decide, they're both just as good. -Favourite way to access the Pack-a-Punch? I have to go with Buried. You have so many risks to take to just get there and keep your points. First you must make your way through the mansion where you can lose the points to Pack-A-Punch, then you need to navigate through the maze which can change every time you go through, whilst battling zombies unless you gave Leroy(or Huckleberry, or Simple Jack, whatever) a crawler. Then you make it down the stairs and you can now Pack-A-Punch. What a challenge. -Favourite map with the best traps? Mob of the Dead. What fun I've had 'acidizing' zombies or splattering intestines on the wall with the fan trap or quickscoping the undead remotely, what's more fun? I suppose the flogger but oh well. -Favourite map with the best special enemy(enemies)? Shangri-La. Makes training hard because the shreaker paralyzes you and the napalm zombie set you alight -Favourite way to get the Free Perk power-up? Die Rise. You actually had to work for the free perk and you could only do it once per four-five rounds. Fair enough, in Pub matches it's annoying as hell because people just shoot to troll but with some experienced players or solo it's great

  10. If it's that OP in your eyes, don't buy vulture aid and don't take the paralyzer if thats what rolls. If people enjoy camping, which was the original way to play back in WaW, then that's fine. The paralyzer is only OP if you know how to use it.
  11. *Richtofen's Side* Sorry for the misleading title, but i think that once you have done either TranZit, Die Rise or Buried's Easter Eggs, you can't do them again even if you do the join in late trick. Me and my friends assembled a new EE team and two of us(including me) had done all three EEs. Two others hadn't and after completing 'Mined Games' last night we decided to do TranZit for the other two and Die Rise for the other two(and me aswell because i lagged out on the last step although i have the achievement, the box isn't lit up nor is my tower). We started Die Rise and on the first step we were standing on the pads in the elevators and it wouldn't work. We were pretty sure it wouldn't work so we died and tried TranZit. Same again, didn't work although when we overheated the jet gun Richtofen said a quote to Stu, but it wasn't the one to tell us we succeeded and it was a minute or so afterwards. Any help? We really need help because we want the extended ending to clear our progress for DLC 4
  12. I think it get what you mean, and to be honest I don't know. When you do either all Richtofen Easter eggs or all Maxis then do the extended endgame on Buried then all of the memory of you doing the easter eggs is wiped. You don't lose the achievement, of course but this still saves who you helped, Maxis or Richtofen. So i do think to do the last easter egg we will have to do all of the easter eggs to have done none of them if that makes sense. Back to your question, i think if you do all Maxis EE's then you will have red eyed zombies in the next map because they are after doing Maxis' side and i don't know if he becomes the voice-over for perks. If you do all Richtofen's side, like me nothing much will change apart from Stuhlinger's eyes
  13. Thought i was the only one, it's fixed for me now just keep playing and go to the bridge every game and it eventually stays. Thankfully it didn't do that to pop goes the weasel although i love doing that easter egg
  14. I myself have done both ways, killing the Weasel and the Weasel killing everyone else. The exact same outcome, the game ends but the screen goes white and says'THE CYCLE CONTINUES' when you kill the weasel and 'THE CYCLE IS BROKEN' when the weasel kills everyone else
  15. I saw a post about possibly when you are in 'Afterlife' you look like Avogadro(Him, whatever). So possibly one of the four are going to fly around the zombie infested earth, looking for Misty,Marlton,Stu and Russ! Or maybe(unlikely, I know) the Avogadro is actually Maxis in some sort of human form because he was only able to talk to us through electrical devices and, Avogadro is basically made of electricity! Keep in mind that Richtofen doesn't even mention or need Avogadro during TOB which also makes me think that Maxis has some sort of control over it or he is actually the Avogadro. Pretty unlikely but we don't know what to expect from MotD.
  16. We were on the last step of the TOB and there were three of us 3 2 1 THROW! My friend never threw his EMP and he wasnt even the one having to do two! After that he rage quit and me and my other friend managed to do that step ourselves which was pretty pro, considering its a four player easter egg
  17. Throughout this post ill refer to times in the video so please refer to the video. There are many things overlooked in the trailer that shoulf be pointed out. the first and maybe the most important one is that the muffled voice and Richtofen are the same person. At 0.56 the 'muffled voice' says accept your fate begin a new. Samuel sayd i dont understand talking to Richtofen. Marlton thinks he's talking to Misty but that's not the case. Richtofen then repeats himself, alot clearer saying the same thing. I saw a fairly recent post on this forum saying the nova crawlers in Kino made the same sound as the muffled voice but slowed down. It is clearly the same and i won't try to debunk it. I think that Richtofen made the zombies make this noise when he talks so that we don't find out more than we should know at this point. Another thing that people go on about is that Samuel says have we been here before? at the very end. The way I see it, Samantha didn't want you to be wherever you were so that you couldn't stop her from being in control of the zombies, hence the electricity when you died. Richtofen wants the N4 to do what he wants so erases their memories and respawns them again. He does this until you do his task, which has been to set up the towers so far. This also refers to the symptoms of the guy on the TV in Die Rise saying that you have paranoya, short term memory loss and one other thing i can't remember. This person does have paranoya and short term memory loss because he repeats the thing about short term memory loss and becomes paranoid. I'm not sure if when you do a Maxis side of either TranZit or Die Rise that there is lightning at your feet implying that you were teleported but i don't know because i only do Richtofen's EE's A little extra thing to add onto the teleporting when you die is that when you are looking at your stats after you die there is an audio clip played: If i can find a clip ill add it here! It sounds like a person locked up in chains walking then you hear a gate being shut. This could be a hint to the next map that we hear what the characters hear when they spawn in the next map. MrDalekJD made a video about the next map being a prison or more particularly, Alcatraz. I just thought i would add this in at the end just because it seemed to tie in with the previous point

  21. The hardest part to do would be the trample steams for richtofen if you dont place them correct. The one at semtexes and the other one near spawn are hard to get enough zombies at
  22. My 2 player strategy is to go to the area where you drop down to from the trample steam room and one person trains at the top of the ramp and one person below. If done correctly your zombies wont go for the other person
  23. Here's my walkthrough tutorial to do the easter egg by round 3! It can take a little while to do the EE this way but you only need to open 3 doors. *you must have 4 players* Round 1 You are going to want to get two players to get 750 points two open two doors. To get exactly 750 shoot 8 times in the leg and knife. Then on the next zombie shoot 4 times. Another player needs to get 1000 points for a door so shoot 8 times in the leg then knife twice and rebuild a barrier. The other person who is left needs to get the SVU later but not right away. (it costs either 1000 or 1200 i forget. Leave a zombie and one of the people with 750 points open the spawn door. Everyone head down the spawn elevator and the person with 1000 open the door to the left of the power door. The person with 750 points open the door to the power. Thats all of the doors that need to be opened. Turn the power on and pick up any parts of the sliquifier and take the elevator down and build it. Instead of opening the couch debris go to the remington elevator and take it up a level and take the part beside the couch and tv. Anybody except the person buying the SVU can take the sliquifier. Now you are going to jump on the elevators with the gold circles. There are two beside each other that go to the power room and the other two are the two elevators beside the trample steam bench. The two people who dont have a gun or arent getting the SVU stay at the elevators that go to the power. The other two jump over to the trample steam and take the quick revive elevator up but one person jumps off at the PDW and gets on the other elevator. Thats the first step finished. For step 2 you need one of the people nearest the power to go down and go to the area above the ak74u and wait beside the gold circle on the floor. The other person near the power needs to go up past the tower and drop down to the semtexs. To your the left there a gold circle . Wait there. The person who was on the quick revive elevator waits at the gold circle just outside it. The person on the remaining elevator takes the quick revive elevator up and drop down to the SVU and buy it. Go down the escalator to the sushi bar and turn right and wait at gold circle there. Now you need to jump on them in the correct order so this is a case of trial and error. Once this is done the person with the SVU and the person with the sliquifier go to the spawn room. The person with the SVU snipes the balls out of the dragons mouth. The next step is to get the balls spinning which are now under the lions paws near the door. The person with the sliquifier shoots the balls until they spin. Once this is done build the trample steam and get everyone to take one. One person needs to stay in the building that you spawn in. This person puts a trample steam down to let the other 3 people over to the dragon building. This person picks his trample steam and puts it on the gold circle with the zombie on it. It is beside the gold circle in front of the quick revive elevator. Youll want to aim it at the tower. There are three more of these gold circles with zombies on it on the dragon roof. There is one near the semtexes to the right of it. It is directly where you drop down to get to the claymores. Aim it at the tower too. The other two are beside the stairs going down to the MP5. The both of these need to be aimed at the tower too. Kill the zombie. Round 2 *the person getting the most zombies save up 6750 points for the galvaknuckles and the door to get back to the elevator to get to the tower* All you need to do is get zombies to be flung toward the tower. The two people beside each other near the stairs should press themselves against the metal wall. This will stop zombies from missing the trample steams. There is one window to watch so one person might want to save up for the MP5. The person at the trample steam should stand behind the trample steam and watch the window and jumping up area. This person also may want to buy the MP5. The other person at the quick revive should buy the m14 and stay near the m14 and let the trample steam watch your back. This can take many rounds so be prepared to wait for the fireworks nearest the dragons head. Round 3(or whenever someone gets enough for galvas) This is the final step. If you have done the previous steps correctly then the tower should be lit up blue. The person with the galvaknuckles needs to punch the corners of the tower in the correct order which you can tell by the mahjong tiles. Once this is done the dragon should throw flames and you will get the achievement. Helpful links(ill add some soon i made this post on my phone)
  24. Remember the 5 portraits in kino? Wasnt there one that was an outline of a person? Could it be the same person? Also there are 3 silhouettes on the top right photo. The bottom two look like zombies but the top person looks more human like. I dont know who he is but these 3 linkages could be the same person
