It's a part of the switches, if you change it before that step it will be marked wrong and you then need to change it back.

Very useful, will be planning my sleeping schedule based on these times. Thanks

I got a bit of information on what those zombies that we're buried there might be. They are defiantly knight's Templar. You can tell by their colors on the back of their clothing. Red and white with the cross on the front more then fits the description. I am currently thinking that Edward and Maxis were searching for ancient Christan relics of power. This was done commonly during WWII but beforehand would not surprise me considering they were looking for ancient powers. The knight Templar were soldiers who guarded their ancient religious relics such as the holy grail and the staff of Moses. I have a weird feeling that they we're searching for eternal life by trying to find the holy grail and instead found eternal life through 115. Of course though it isn't quite what they we're thinking.

All right I just looked into this Bar-le-Due or as some sites say Bar-le-Duc. From my understanding it makes great jelly, but that's besides the point. I beleive that this map is not directly on Bar-le-Due but rather is near it, according to multiple websites (google search Bar-le-Duc zeppelin) a zeppelin was shot down near the city. The zeppelin in the trailer leads me to believe that this is specifically a site near but not in the city. I'm going to keep on searching for historical sites around the location but I thought this might be of some insight as to why the zeppelin is there and where the location might be better pin pointed.. Here's a site with the history of the location, hope it helps. http://www.barleduc.fr/rubrique.aspx?Ca ... 9&Niveau=2

Do you guys think it's possible that we will get something similar to what we got as the final map pack for BO1? Will we get a number of zombie maps for the price of one? And an even better question is what will they give us this time? Revamped BO1 maps? New maps? or maybe nothing. What do you guys think?

In preparation for Buried, EE hunters/helpers unite!?
Necrojon replied to The Clay Bird's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Yes I am waiting, and its annoying when they don't give us a time to wait for. -
Perhaps someone in the opening cutscene? Or even perhaps a character, like in Shangri-la, that helps from the other side of a wall of some sorts?

Pack-a-Punch - Dealer's choice? multiple PaP machines/option
Necrojon replied to The Clay Bird's topic in Mob of the Dead
From what I'm seeing I think that one of the base ideas of this map is the element of fire. We seem to have regular tomahawks, as seen and point out by NGT, then we have the flaming tomahawk. We have the Reznovs revenge, which is fire based. We have the flaming dog head, and we have the candles on the alters. I personally think that upgrading in this map means more then just putting your gun in the Pack-a-punch. I means doing something with either the dog, the alters, or even a whole new method. Enhancing weaponry with fire seems like the theme, and if there is a new way to PAP, then there is likely the old way to PAP as well giving us our choices. Plus I do think the Blunderbuss is a special case, they say there will be some way, so agreeing with the above poster that is a separate case. -
So with this new map we have not only new perks, guns, people, and game mechanics, we also have a beautiful new HUD to become accustomed to. We have nice new numbers, and an interesting image for what used to be the analog pad. But there are a few things that are also added to this, including what is in the following image. (right click to view the full image) In here we have what appears to be a new form of special grenade. It seems to be some form of flaming ball of some sort? Personally I think it has something to do with the demon dog that appears to be not only stationary but zombie eating. Now in this image we have two things to try and understand, firstly we have the eye symbol right above the bullet count. I'm not 100% sure but I have a lot of faith in this being how the purgatory system works. We have a set limit as to how many times we can enter this mode, and we can replenish them by following the eye marker that appeared in the trailer at multiple spots. Secondly we have what is in the top left corner, it appears to be a bundle of rope, or maybe a wire? I'm thinking this is a new way to tell us what the parts your carrying are. Instead of the small symbol in the bottom right as previously seen, I think this is just a nice improvement for the buildables system. So what do you think? What does the new special grenade do? What do the eye symbols mean? And what could we be building with this wire, or rope bundle?

This is exactly what I though of when I watched the trailer, a ghostly electric figure that can shoot electricity? Sounds a lot like our friend in Tranzit. Oh top of that in the same area of discussion, it sure seems like this map is based around electricity, the perks all seem to have that interesting volts meter next to them signaling me that you need to power them if the boss zombie kills it. Or even possibly powering it in order to obtain the perk in the first place?

Mob of the Dead Making of / Trailer *includes video analysis
Necrojon replied to GRILL's topic in Mob of the Dead
Darn it, load already, I can't wait T_T -
This makes some sense with the whole idea of purgatory. As it became cannon in the last map that the reason we re-spawn is because of those in control trying to manipulate our actions, it would then make sense that since some one new, or no one, is in control the same thing wouldn't happen. In other words we have no one to re-spawn us and control our actions, thus we would go to the afterlife after death, meaning that this new purgatory is basically what happens to normal people in the world of COD zombies, and we are going to see it for the first time this map because these characters are not being messed with like the O4 or the N4. The one place this sort of falls through with is with the original map, and Call of the Dead, but who knows maybe their of importance to Sam at the time of their zombie fighting. But it makes sense, the reason we re-spawn is because of the current announcer, thus something else must happen when we are not key to their plans.

Listen, get the key, use it on the big elevator and when it's resetting get in it and try to get phd.

lets rip this quote out real quick. "players will wield powerful, upgradable Wonder Weaponry" This is great news, this translates to "we not have actual wonder weapons and not a build able strong weapon like the turbine" I was quite disappointed when we didn't have a real wonder weapon on Green Run, but now that we have one defiantly in it that's great.

Wow nice, could you post these cords? I don't quite remember seeing those on the forum, probably just missed them. If you were to most them that would be awesome.

Is 'Die Rise' the real name for our new map?
Necrojon replied to Zaptn.'s topic in Research & Development
They why not make the name of the game mode Transit? BECAUSE IT'S ZOMBIES Die Rise......TranZit. That's the name, no mix of maps, no mix of languages, its just a bad pun. It's just a bad pun nothing more nothing less. -
Is 'Die Rise' the real name for our new map?
Necrojon replied to Zaptn.'s topic in Research & Development
Not to sound like an attack but I wholeheartedly disagree with both of you. The name to me sounds fine it's a pun of the term "High Rise" removing High with Die making "Die Rise". If it were to be a mix of German and English this is not how they would do it considering that Die is both English and German, not only that but it is the Feminine version of The making it sound silly. The reason it's like this and why it's red is to symbolize that that's the word being played on. High Rise makes complete senses, tall buildings, helicopters, large city, just screams tall building locations or "High Rises". It's just a pun, plus with recent maps it doesn't seem like they are trying to make fancy other language titles in German of Japanese, they have Green Run, Town, Farm, Nuketown, all simpler map names sure this name doesn't fit in the trend of BO1 but in BO2 it fits. Think of it like this, Die is very intentional. If they simply wanted to day the dead are rising they would call it "Dead Rise" if they were to mix languages it would be "The Steigen" why would they use a word that could be both languages if it were to symbolize a mix of them? It doesn't make sense. The map name I'm convinced is "Die Rise" to make a pun of the name "High Rise" to show us it is a high up in the building setting. -
Regardless of how much I would LOVE to have the O4 back, why would they be in a place like this? Don't get me wrong there could be a reason just unforeseen yet, but from what has already been established the O4 seem to have no real goal in any location other then 935 group locations now. The only thing we were left with at the end of the EE was that they want to wipe all remains of group 935 and Sam wants her body back. For them to be in Japan in a city none the less seems like an out there location for either of those purposes. To back up this even further I doubt the current 4 would have much to do in a location like this considering there on the other half of the world and even if the water in the oceans are gone like the previous poster was talking about it would still be a long shot. I'm honestly thinking from a logical standpoint that there are going to be new people that are given a chance to activate a spire of some sort and they have to choose a side. Any of the most likely of the people I think they would be policemen considering that there is the possibility that you can turn into zombies and the 4 on the cover are police zombies. But that to is speculation, so take that as nothing to important. If someone could even give me a theory as to why the O4 would be located there then I would be more then happy to reconsider the possibility. I honestly don't think it will be the O4 but then again who knows it's Treyarch they can do anything.

Can't wait for this, this just from the few hints it gives us is hopefully going to be great. There are a few things I notice right away with this poster that seems to have some significance. 1.)First off, it looks SUNNY! We haven't seen a good sunny map since Kino and Shangri-la if this is a huge non-foggy map that it will be amazing. 2.)The helicopter this could as previously stated be our mode of transportation. But from this what kind of information could we get? Well the name DIE RISE is a play on words for the German phrase THE RISE and is also a play on the English phrase HIGH RISE. THE RISE is obviously the rise of zombies, but in our language HIGH RISE means tall buildings right? Picture this, a helicopter taking us from building roof to building roof over a destroyed Japan (or China or some Asian location because the signs in the back are clearly not the English alphabet)? 3.)Check out the zombies, there policemen in swat suits. This seems to be a telling of a story within it's self. Since there so detailed could this mean that we turn into the zombies when we die? Would make sense because of the new game modes, maybe a game mode that's like that? 4.)Last thing is that I don't think this is any of the crew that we currently know. Our current group wouldn't likely go to an Asian country considering there only mode of transportation is a bus. The original 4 are in loss of a member and in return is Sam, these 4 would seemingly have no real relevance being in a location like this, what would they be doing there? What I'm thinking is that the 4 we're going to be playing is Policemen in the area. Why? Because who other then a policeman would have the access to a Helicopter? On top of that if this were the case wouldn't that be a huge hint towards that gamemode referenced in 3 considering there are police zombies on the poster? Just some ideas, take then with a grain of salt. What I propose we do right now is get the sign read, and then we try to find interesting city locations that have conspiracy locations surrounding them.

Things like these sounds are nothing new. In Verruck we heard screams or patents, crying, laughing, in CotD you could hear some odd creaks of the boat and sounds of metal doors moving, in this map you can hear those cries and other noises. It's all for the atmosphere, story is moved along through quotes and obvious noises, things like these set the creepy mood and in my opinion they do exceptionally well. I also believe that the crying of the little girl is a reference to the children of the corn, even though it can sometimes be heard in other locations. Anyways just great effects not much else.

"It seems some new cargo’s aboard and needs to be delivered." - Dr. Maxis in Green Run Wow, this is really crazy. I'm not sure what to make of all this. Thanks for that fix, and it really does seem to add together. If I were to take a guess this map might have something to do with the next zombies map. I would suggest anyone who is currently free to try to look around the map for any more hints.
-
Wow great find, is not an actual troll either. This could be when the 1st DLC map is released. Also I was reminded of the Maxis quote "Looks like new Cargo has arrived" strange we found something revolving around zombies in the map Cargo when the quote that we have not heard yet is about Cargo. Good find.

Quick correction that I believe would clear up a bit of confusion about why Samuel would hear these voices. Samuel was bitten by a zombie and therefor infected and started to have the traits of zombies (eating flesh). Now here's how you can tell, look at Samuel. His leg has blood dripping down through the bandage he has on his ankle. To me this was proof that he was bitten, getting the 115 into him, and thus having Richthofen start to control him. Not only does Richthofen control the undead but he can start to manipulate those living who have been infected with the 115 that is transmitted through zombie bites. Once bitten you start to harbor the traits of zombies by wanting flesh, thus creating more zombies, and by being able to be manipulated by Richthofen, as seen by both the radio and Samuel. This helps a bit with the oddity of eating the flesh to gain the powers of hearing Richthofen, would you inherently not want to eat flesh and furthermore wouldn't half of the group in area 51 being canibles seem a bit odd? If just getting bitten is enough to start the manipulation then it would make sense because it is much more likely to be bitten then to inherently be a flesh eater. It really ended up just like Richthofen had wanted, super soldiers completely controllable and manipulable.

I completely agree with you. This map will likely be expanded with the new route to the right of the tunnel. On top of that I hope that it adds all the perks back, more EE, and more areas to explore. Possibly even adding more buildables. The fact that the Eiffel tower is perfect for the EE makes it seem like one of the most prominent places to be chosen for a future DLC map.

I don't see this being anything more then a glitch. If this were something that could at least be easily replicated then it would be a possible step. But because this seems to be a strange glitch I don't see it being anything of use.
