sounds interesting enough I'll investigate some time tonight, and who knows it could be something, I sure haven't heard about it.
-
They should definitely do something, I'm almost certain at least something small will happen. Maybe will give us some DLC info maybe will update the map enough for us to continue the easter egg. Who knows its Treyarch they could do anything.
-
First thing, is that if this was true you would sometimes see a "gap" in nav cards, as in if players 1, 2, and 4 have navcards then player 3's navcard spot would be empty. I have seen no evidence of this, the navcards are always right after each other no matter how many you have. Second, I have seen videos of people obtain navcards from various things, i.e. getting tombstone, or hitting the box (when the infamous sparkles show up). I have seen Navcards in multiple places like 1 2 and 4 while 3 is missing, it is something that does happen and it is related directly to the person who has one. Getting it is sometimes odd considering you can get it from any number of things from hitting the box, to dying, to getting a perk. The way that many people have got it though is from its set location behind the bunker in the depot.

Darn, thanks though. There HAS to be something, there is no reason for the door to mean nothing, it's just not logical. There has to be some explanation for the 3 places the lights go (stop light, empty building, and the door handle). Nothing Treyarch does is for no reason, especially when it's this obvious. Also to add to the list, I have gone around all the crates in the barn and in the Pack a Punch and power looking for things through the milometer scanner, nothing of interest. The only thing I can think of as it is, is if both the stop light and the box have the odd glow, but that is not only way to hard but tedious and annoying they wouldn't do that.

What my current suggestion that to my knowledge has not been tried yet is to try to get the Avogadro to shoot lightning at the door handle. The reason I'm saying this is that his lightning shots have yet to be used to do anything despite the whole map being mainly electricity and power based in its EE and its gameplay there is yet to have a use for the projectiles the Avogadro shoots out. If you could get the handle shocked by his bolt maybe it overloads the handle or maybe it makes a good connection? I don't know but it seems like a possibility to me.

After you complete the system Maxis says two quotes right? First off he says good job but then he says the 2nd quote when he talks about activating the spire and asks if you have been circumcised. A rather odd thing to ask isn't it? Being circumcised is typically a religious thing and the only thing that relates to religion is the Church, which is also a spire. Now I know often when he says spire or tower he is referencing the pylon but in this case it might mean the Church since he mentions this peculiar thing. Just an idea but if you get the quote to be said again in a game try investigating the church for any changes. Another thought came to mind on a possible thing. Me and a random (cool guy though) were talking about the door and he gave the suggestion that maybe we need the Avogadro to shoot lightning at the door overloading what ever system it is that it contains. This idea stuck with me, this map has a similar idea of electricity and power being the key why not combined the power of the Avogadro with the current conundrum of the handle and see if we get any results? Edit: It appears I'm not alone in the church idea credit to those who also thought the same.

All Turbine/Streetlight Permutations - Community Wide Effort
Necrojon replied to optimus555's topic in TranZit
What we should start of doing is highlighting the most likely of combinations that get a reaction. What I'm talking about is highlight the ones with the most likelihood of being the thing that will react. We need to highlight the ones that are on the clocks, and all combinations of them. This would make it much quicker if this is indeed the solution. -
Just a theory of mine I think that those maps are allusion in the tranzit map. For instance this one had Macht der Untoten and is therefor in the code to that they could take pieces of it for the map. What I'm thinking personally though is that each DLC will add a new tranzit map game type in each will have around 2-4 smaller maps for survival. All the perks will be put back in and What I hope they will do is expand the Tranzit map to include that extra path more of the EE and to have all the perks. Plus some new perks and guns as well.

Absolutely agree just cool sound effects that really set a good atmosphere for a zombie apocalypse. You can also hear a child crying if you happen to be in the right place at the right time.
-
Well there are other topics about the location of the map and the idea has basically been confirmed there so your pretty on with that. Interesting photo really since this is not seen in game. I hope this is some kind of free fun update for some upcoming event where the level is all tricked out if even for just a day. Like a 12/21/12 party in zombies because it's the end of the world and all.
-
Well let's let again go through the steps that could lead to the lights affecting things. We need to try all the buildables. Or rather the only two I think have any plausibility are the electric trap and the shield. The turbine to has a chance of doing something but that has already bin disproved along with the jetgun. There is no way this is just something random, it is directly related to the easter egg and is only accessible after the completion of it that on its own should be reason enough to believe that there is more.

No M1911s Anyways I put in a PAP AK47u because I like that gun.

Denizens Started off as an Experiment, Proof in the Map
Necrojon replied to optimus555's topic in TranZit
That's a very interesting quote. This could possible mean Marlton was involved in the testing in this location. That would explain why this place is so familiar to him, may even be proof that he was working for the government (or maybe secret groups) before he went to Jack as Flats and was banished there after the Nuketown nuke originally went off. This could also explain why he says the Avogadro quote in the bunker, because he went to the test site in Green Run and was involved in both of the experiments. What a perfect place to do secret tests to, a small population area with secret vaults near the power station, that while in there could open up the other secret location for the second lab. It's all really questionable I want to know more of who is working in this location and the idea that you brought up that the Denizens came from the lab is genius, good job on that. Could someone get up a pic of the location that we're talking about with the pipe, because I'm greatly curious on this subject. -
I can confirm this this happened to me today, I was playing with a few guys one of them left I decided that it wasn't that important of a game so didn't really care all to much. I heard this noise and proceed to leave the game since it wouldn't have counted as a round anyways, I went into a solo game and realized I lost all my perma-perks (not sure about speedy revive). I guess I will have to get them again.

Seems to me that Maxis is a form of Avogadro. Living electricity, moving through objects to bend to his will, talking through anything electronic even things that isn't a radio (as said on the T.V.). It would explain how he is knowledgeable about the Avogadro in the first place even knowing it would allow him to gain it powers once you freed it. Just an idea not entirely sure if this is a viable thought.

Small update it appears that the tallies decide if you have blue eyes or not. Five tallies means blue eyes. Another bit of info you can actually rank up from leaving games. I left a greif mode game in town to play with some friends, when I came out I had five tallies and blue eyes with my knife symbol. Interesting stuff, we still have no real clue how the tallies are decided though.

This is a must do, it really is a last ditch attempt but should definitely be done.

Just went to the church with EMPs and grenades, Nothing seems to give any difference regardless of what part of the church I threw the emp or grenade at. Front doors, top of tower, and even the window all seem to have no effect. Didn't get to use the jet gun, that's next on the list.

Sorry it was me who threw the whole thread off base Anyways to post my idea here. Marilton was working in the Nuketown site and was one of the scientists working on the project of nukes and zombies. When the original nuke went off and made the zombies it created in EMP wave knocking out his watch at 19:02 During round 5-ish the bus came (can be heard on the map) and Marilton moved from his bunker (knife it you can hear him in there) to the bus and left the site, to his advantage. Because 45 minutes after he left the second larger nuke that Dr. Maxis sent hit the earth, he was luckily out of range by 45 minutes but it did knock out all electrical devices in a larger vicinity (meaning the bus stop clock was killed at 19:49 exactly 45 minutes after the original test nuke). This proves to provide the ongoing story of the whole incident. To lay it out in chronological order. -Marilton somehow was involved in testing the nukes and/or zombie testing (don't know he was there for a reason though) -First controlled nuke went off at 19:02 (as seen on his watch) and blew out all of Mariltons equipment. -CIA/CDC arrive to investigate the scene (CIA maybe looking for Marilton? CDC attempting to control the zombies? or some other motive) -Richtofen should have built an egg moving robot (quote after round 2 meaning he is doing the EE on moon) -Bus arrives and Marilton moves to the sound of its horn and boards the bus(heard on round 5-ish and the fact that Marilton is not dead help this) -Maxis enters the password (quote said about how no one would guess it) -Marilton is well on his way (presuming because he was out of the blast radius) -Richtofen takes control of the zombies completing the EE (round 25 zombies change eye color and diff. announcer) POSSIBLY MISSED STUFF -Dr. Maxis and the rest of the gang shoot of the rocket that detonates exactly 45 minutes after the test nuke from nuke town. (Clocks in the Diner are off from Mariltons by 45 minutes 19:49) Giant emp goes off accidental release of a lot of 115 and lava is now everywhere. Hopefully there are more to be gained from the two maps, especially nuketown, unfortunately I have not been able to look around nuketown after round 25 to look from some more info. Please correct any mistakes, give some feed back, update the chronological list.

Ok here's what I'm thinking. Marilton was a scientist that was doing tests with the Nevada site and since he is a cowardly man (look at his quotes) he locked himself in the bunker to prevent zombies from getting him. On round 5-ish the bus pulls up he somehow escapes and enter the bus and its on its way. Interesting bit of info the nuke tested at Nevada had blown up exactly 45 minuets before the huge one Dr. Maxis sent. Proof is that his watch is 45 (If I remember correctly) minuets off from the bus depots. Once the first one blew up turned his watch and all nearby equipment off, the second bigger one blew out all the power in a much larger radius. Luckily he was on the bus already leaving. Here's my theory on who is controlling the bus. Dr. Maxis is in control. If we look at the audio files the people from Jack Ass Flats state that Maxis seems to be able to control any electrical device, this possibly could includes the bus. Why would I say this? Simple Maxis does state in another audio file that he has back up plans already in action should his bombs fail. He might have already had a bus ready to pick up members for his personal army because of his control of electricity. Even if he is not in control it defiantly is not Richtofens doing. This is because the bus seems to be operating in Nuketown before round 25 where Richtofen takes control of the zombies (Their eyes turn blue and Richtofen announces power ups at this round and rounds following). Even if Maxis is not in control of the bus it is certainly not Richtofen, meaning a third party would have to be involved if it were not Richtofen or Maxis. Finally beyond speculation of past events I personally think that the Navicards are what is needed to fix the bus driver and send the crew to their new site. Think about it, you can find the Navicard near the bus stop a place that would reasonably have one, you seem to be unable to use it in this current map, and on the front of the bus driver it looks like there is a slot for it as well. Anyways those are just some speculations feel free to nitpick and take what you like throw away what you don't. All just for the sake of speculation.

So just a little recap there are some things we can eliminate and some things we need to confirm. First off you can get rank up in any map and any game type, Tranzit, greif, and survival all work in leveling your icon up. In a similar fashion you don't have to play all the maps, or all the gametypes, to level up. There doesn't seem to be a correlation between easter egg completion and rank. Rank can and will go down after periods of inactivity, this could mean days, or in some cases during random times (Slappamedoo is a good example) Now to address the proposals that Saleenseven has brought up. The tallys very well might be based on activity, as people that play more tend to have more tallys and over time they tend to be lost. But the blue eyes is a different matter, I have played the game every day since release and I have yet to get the blue eyes. We need some testing on the rates in which you lose and gain these two attributes, but I personally don't think the blue eyes have anything to do with activity. Also Saleenseven has given a good proposal that your avg could be related to your rank, as the better you do the better your rank and the worse you do the worse your rank, on average. This is a very likely possibility, to further it I believe that there is a scale applied to grief mode that prevents quick wins from destroying your average. Now a hopefully quick test is if you keep on playing do you get a tally every day? Would someone mind testing this? lastly and most importantly a question that will help debunk the blue eyes 8.) Have you seen the orange glow? This with questions 1 and 3 should shed some light on the whole zombie vision theory.

I am willing and able, have a good mic, and want to help progress the fan knowledge. The only thing that I would need to have done if I join you is that we do the easter egg because I have yet to assemble a team to do it. GT NecroJinsey

I have an odd feeling this means we did it, he's saying he saw all of our troubles and we have found it all (especially since we just found the t.v. radio transmissions).
-
I thought this might be of help in determining what each of the ranks means. Here we will reply to a few questions and then give some info on when (if at all) you got to a higher rank (if you can remember that is) First off is a few questions. 1.) What is your current rank (Skull with knife, shotguns, nothing?, Blue eyes or not? How many tallies?) 2.) Highest round? How many people? 3.) Have you done the Easter egg? 4.) Have you played all the maps? (Excluding Nuketown) 5.) Have you played all the game types on each map? 6.) Has your rank ever gone down? 7.) Explain when you got your rank, what it was before, and what you did in the game before you got this rank? *8.) Have you seen the orange glow that sometimes appears around the box and in town? I'm hoping these questions once stock piled will serve the community to see similarities and maybe even find out how this whole thing works. Feel free to add questions if you find necessary. To answerer my own questions 1.) Skull with knife, no blue eyes. 2.) 31 solo 3.) No 4.) Yes (Including Nuketown 5.) no 6.) No 7.) I had the plain skull with no blue eyes, went onto solo did a 31 round game when I got out knife with skull but no blue eyes. *8.) No Key * = Newly added

Red Sparkles Everywhere and Zombie Rank Vision?
Necrojon replied to X_Shortboyownz_X's topic in TranZit
Actually NGTzombies did make a video on this in the box a while ago. Was also seen on the live stream. Here's a few questions that might help us determine the blue eye conundrum. 1.)Did you do the easter egg? 2.)Did you play all the maps at least once in every mode? (not including Nuketown) 3.)What is your highest round I personally don't have the blue eyes and have not done 1 and 2.I really want to find this out so that I can start seeing these strange lights.
