Turret is absolutely fail safe. This is one of my good friends doing just that... Great watch. Love seeing glitchers go down.
-
Yes... you can kill them with a turret. That is what I used to do.

Treyarch has gave us hope!
DeathBringerZen replied to ViRaL x Vandal's topic in Research & Development
I genuinely don't expect to see any maps being released, but I would love for them to add Wunderfizz into the other maps. They know we would be delighted to see it happen. It would definitely give the game some much needed longevity.- 19 replies

They all look amazing. Good job!

Black Ops 2 Patch (2/26/2014)
DeathBringerZen replied to Dahniska's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I paid for the game... I will say what I want about it. If that annoys you, then too bad. besides... all I said was that the left it in. I hardly went into a full scale rant about it. -
Black Ops 2 Patch (2/26/2014)
DeathBringerZen replied to Dahniska's topic in General Zombies Discussion
They have not unfortunately. I completed it on the night of the patch and it was just the same, cringe worthy, sad excuse for a cliffhanger(?). -
Treyarch has gave us hope!
DeathBringerZen replied to ViRaL x Vandal's topic in Research & Development
It's a different colour, so it is not the same as the Origins skin. That is why I questioned why the would even bother mentioning Origins when referencing the skin. It still looks OK though, but nothing like a zombies camo.- 19 replies

Treyarch has gave us hope!
DeathBringerZen replied to ViRaL x Vandal's topic in Research & Development
It doesn't. It is a green colored camo that looks NOTHING like the Origins skin. Not sure what they mean by "inspired by Origins"!?! They may as well have said "Inspired by a puddle of sick I saw outside a nightclub"... It would have been more appropriate. That being said... they are all actually rather nice personalizations. I don't play MP anywhere near enough to warrant a purchase though. I have barely seen my cyborg camo since I purchased it.- 19 replies

Black Ops 2 Patch (2/26/2014)
DeathBringerZen replied to Dahniska's topic in General Zombies Discussion
True, but each camo skin wrap will be about 2mb each, so still leaves a lot of megabites that are unaccounted for. Still... even getting camo skins this far on gives us renewed hope of something... ANYTHING still coming for zombies. It would also make sense that they could potentially delay any new drop seeing as we still have a loooooooong way to go until the next installment. I am not going to build up my hopes though. -
Treyarch Teasing Something?
DeathBringerZen replied to LiamFTWinter's topic in General Zombies Discussion
To see micro transactions coming down for MP some 5 months after the final DLC has dropped does indeed give me renewed hope that we may see something zombie related still. Nuketown was a micro transaction... why not more classic maps? -
Black Ops 2 Patch (2/26/2014)
DeathBringerZen replied to Dahniska's topic in General Zombies Discussion
They can easily add stuff via an update, but not have it triggered yet. They did it with the Mark II on the weekend before DLC drop. As good as it would be to have stuff added to the map, I am seriously doubting it this far in now. It would make sense if they did though to cushion the blow of the news that we will be waiting over a year and a half till the next outing, but I just don't see it happening unfortunately. -
Black Ops 2 Patch (2/26/2014)
DeathBringerZen replied to Dahniska's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Yeah, it makes perfect sense as to the reason for a patch to drop now, some 5 months after the last patch. It would also be understandable that they did not reveal this to be the reason, so as not to bring any negative attention towards the franchise, but most instances of this type of thing happening usually get reported on quickly, so without anything official, I can only take it as idle gossip just now. Again though... 84mb seems like an awful lot to add to a game when all you are doing is removing something? -
Black Ops 2 Patch (2/26/2014)
DeathBringerZen replied to Dahniska's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Yeah. I read somewhere that there was an exploit in the game that could expose users billing information also, but without official confirmation, that is just hearsay. -
Black Ops 2 Patch (2/26/2014)
DeathBringerZen replied to Dahniska's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I messed around on Tranzit, Die Rise and Origins last night and found nothing to be different, and I also managed to die on the tank STILL! So, I don't think anything in-game was patched. Strange though, as the update was 84mb, and I am sure that is the biggest title update there has been for Black Ops 2 since release. Why add 84mb of data if they were just removing Elite!? Hmm... -
@Treyarch - Please fix the broken tank!
DeathBringerZen replied to DeathBringerZen's topic in Origins
The system update today was only the removal of Elite as far as I am aware. No patching of ANY KIND done. Anyway... they will never remove the death barrier from the tank now, as it will just become a tool for glitchers again. Easy work around I have found for the tank is to only have the host use it to collect the lightening staff parts, and even then... if they have a spike lag of any kind, they too will go down because of it. Glitchers man... *sigh* -
Your Final Opinion - Black Ops 2's Story
DeathBringerZen replied to Naitrax's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I really hated the storyline, if you can even really call it that. The N4 I was fine with, and the setting and visual style for the first map map was also perfect as a follow up to the Moon conclusion, but it was all executed terribly. I understand we are supposed to have 4 survivors who are unaware of how the world ended up in the state it was, but they could have had more interaction with Maxis & Richtofen. Especially more to do with the events that have unfolded rather than the cryptic garbage that related to EE steps (Obtuse vertices!?). So with the mess that was Tranzit behind us, I expected Die Rise to deliver more in-depth details on the storyline but no! It had a few brief (and very samey) messages on a TV. Maxis & Richtofen AGAIN just talked cryptic nonsense pertaining to EE steps. Still no proper details on anything to do with the 03 & Samantha. Buried again gave us nothing. No radios or TV messages... just an end-game message that could only be heard if you managed to successfully get through 3 very glitchy EE's, and all you get is a badly edited convo between the two villians that resembled their little rant on Moon. Basically, it was a Moon remake. Terrible. Origins storyline is so trash, I pay no attention to anything in that map. None of the quotes or hidden messages. Don't even start me with the radios. I like the map layout and some of the features, but it has the worst storyline turn ever. So many contradictions it is unreal. MotD storyline was really decent. I try to look at it as non canon though. -
How Black Ops 2 Could Have Been Better
DeathBringerZen replied to Jbird's topic in General Zombies Discussion
All perks are OP... that is the point of them. The original DT is so bad that hardly anyone used it... on ANY map. I would not have been too fussed if they just made a separate stopping power perk but you cannot say that DT 2.0 is OP unless you also say Jugg, Speed or Stamina is also (as well as the rest of the perks). They double up too. Double physical strength, double speed (movement & reloading) etc. -
Strange findings after completing EE in crazy place w/ zblood
DeathBringerZen replied to XLORDXSITHX's topic in Origins
The text shows up after you first pick up one of the stones, so it is probably there as a guide. Same as when you are in zombie blood on the raining fire step and the font appears inside the giants and in the excavation site. -
I'm good to run this. Choppers net is fine so if he is streaming he is probs best hosting also, though he did say he might not be up for it now during his stream with Paulo.

The hacker changes everything on Moon. You can hack ANY wall weapon and build a strategy around that. Also, the biodome strategy is ridiculously slow and boring. Moon has just the same (if not more) strategies you can use to get to high rounds fast if you just look for them. The best one for 4 players is to go through Tunnel 11 instead of 6, leaving the door from tunnel 6 to spawn closed then you can have all 4 players camp in the MPL room using Gersch to pass through the later rounds with ease (hacking every perk drop to get another Max Ammo). Much faster than training in the biodome. There is plenty of others too. Tunnel 11 strat is fast, and works just as well with 2 players. Point being, if you train in the biodome it will be slow, as would it be if you trained in the crazy place. Moon can be good if you look for different places to hold up. If you want to train, then there is still plenty of options outside of the biodome to use. I personally prefer Moon to Origins myself, but I agree training the biodome is boring.

Elemental Zombies? Fire zombie or glitch?
DeathBringerZen replied to DeathBringerZen's topic in Origins
Yeah, I am thinking graphical glitch also. I am sure when playing high round solo runs in the crazy place I have came across zombies that seem to refuse to die no matter how many times I blast them and end up taking them out with the mauser, but I always put that down to just being the mechanics at play. Still think it is nothing, but will keep an eye out next time I play. -
Noticed that someone posted a link over on the Activision forum to a reddit thread by a guy named CustomSocks. http://www.reddit.com/r/CODZombies/comments/1y9g6a/elemental_fire_zombie_video_proof/ I am not sure what to make of it myself. It looks authentic enough, but even if it WAS a real 'Fire Zombie', what purpose would it even serve in the game? I would also have thought that, after all the high round games that have been had on that particular map, especially in the crazy place, you would have thought that something like this would have been found by now. I call graphical glitch.

How Black Ops 2 Could Have Been Better
DeathBringerZen replied to Jbird's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I think better Easter Eggs and more worthwhile rewards is a must next time around. Easter Eggs : They should be more puzzle orientated, and not have to rely on killing zombies. We already do that in the game when playing, so make the steps a break from the norm. They should also be capable of being completed on solo. 4 player only EE's are a poor move on 3Arcs part. Making them easier with 4 people should be enough without having to force it. I want the EE's to make sense rather than just being thrown together nonsense like the majority of them were in BO2. They should serve a proper purpose towards the storyline. Rewards : The rewards should be either unique to the map, or something that you kind of cannot live without when playing that particular map. Moons reward was something that you knew made the experience easier, so it felt like it was a must. Then on CotD you got the Wunderwaffe! A weapon not available on the map via the box. These are special rewards, and BO2 should have continued the trend. Getting a power up drop in Tranzit, Perks on Die Rise and perma perks on Buried where all awful rewards that were overshadowed by in-game features. Perma perks on Buried was completely unnecessary anyway what with persistent tombstone and the ridiculously easy map. Aside from being partially forced into doing MotD and Origins, none of the EE's were worth doing, and the end-game reward for doing all the EE's is something I have not heard ANYONE use for doing a high round game. Bring back unique, must have rewards. Things that you simply cannot go high rounds without. -
If you stand in the corner directly below the light that the skull is on (to the left of the window opposite Jug), and have the cross hair situated around the middle of the lamp pole, then cook the redeemer and then jump and release it, you will get the skull easily. Brutus can be wiped out with a Raygun in seconds, so you may want to run the map with a Raygun and Vitriolic.

I am maybe being a bit premature with my own accomplishment, but I intend on trying to get to 75+ (preferably 100) on Buried without registering ANY kills on my leaderboard. I played a speed run on Buried a few weeks back and managed to get to round 74 with only 1900 kills on solo using the resonator and turbine strategy and it made me realize that if I can get everything done on round 1 and just use the resonator the whole time, I could potentially make it through the entire game without actually getting any kills and I also think it would look pretty neat to have a high round recorded with no kills yet it is completely legit. Hopefully I can return to this thread if I DO manage to accomplish this.
