  1. I am in the same boat as you Pinnaz. My wife absolutely hates zombies. She has said in the past that she has considered taking a hammer to my Xbox when I am out and blaming it on one of the kids, that's how much she hates it. lol. She does however have an unhealthy obsession with vampires, and usually leaves me to play zombies while she is watching her Twilights/Vampire Diaries/True Blood/(insert other teeny-bopper vampire based show or film here).
  2. If you ever want to play WaW or custom zombies, feel free to hit me up. Steam : DeathBringerZen WaW ID : DB-Zen Welcome to the forum.
  3. Definitely Private games mate. I have had so many hours wasted in lobbies trying to get a 2-3 player game going. Extremely frustrating. On that topic... I would like to see the leaderboards reduced to one standard co-op and solo leaderboard. I feel there is too many leaderboards now and it kind of devalues the sense of achievement when it comes to high rounds now. One co-op board that tells how many played like it did in BO1 would be good. I get what they tried with all the leaderboards, but I feel too many left them feeling less important.
  4. The fact that the Avogadro would stay in a ball when the player was close to him was always something that intrigued me, but after countless hours of taking him around the entire map (several times!), I gave up on the idea of him being anything more than a useless and pointless 'boss' character. The orbs are the key to a continuation, if there even is one. I am doubting it now myself. They are more likely a left over EE that they could not get working properly so abandoned.
  5. I love playing both modes myself. I play solo mostly due to not always having friends on to play with, and I gave up on public lobbies completely back in the BO1 days. For me, solo is best. I enjoy the freedom of going for high rounds while having the pause feature at hand for whenever I want to take a break that is longer that a minute or two. I also play at my best on solo I feel as I am playing at my own pace with my own strategy in mind. My co-op games are mostly reserved for EE games, but I will still try and get high rounds for most co-op leaderboards too. I find 4 player games fun, but they drag on and tend to get rather tedious by the time the 30's are hit. 2 player is my personal choice for high rounds on co-op be it BO1 or BO2. Either way, the introduction of the solo leaderboards was a god send for most of us.
  6. If there is any kind of continuation on Tranzit, then the orbs are the key. There is 4 spots they can be seen outwith the box, and they are around or above the four morse code locations. Four orbs for 4 players could mean we need to complete 4 specific tasks in order to have them show up. It is very strange that they show up AFTER the achievement is obtained. The morse code messages could be the key to solving them. Still... the inconsistencies in getting the orbs to show up even after all this time is strange. If there was a specific task required to get them to show up, surely one or two of them would have been ironed out by now!?
  7. Either way, Sparky has worked on ALL the maps during BO2 cycles, and all that confirms is that Treyarch has one big group that develops ALL maps, They may cycle their maps between departments, or in some cases, other divisions (like Raven), they always have the dev's that are somewhat a part of every map either way. I guess our (or at least some of us) thoughts that the N4 maps and the others being developed individually are false at least.
  8. Finding the moulds is easy. If you learn the spots where they spawn, and also learn their EXACT locations, you can throw a Semtex on them and learn their location before searching for them. It is ridiculously easy to have all 4 before 20 on co-op or solo.
  9. This ^
  10. There is no notification sounds when doing it, despite there being notification sounds for everything else within Origins, the animation when you get them is a messed up mish-mash of the normal knife and the punch animation, it is not possible to obtain them in solo despite everything else in the map being obtainable in solo, and you have to die to get them (ranking system puts that into doubt) ergo I am calling glitch. Reminds me of the no air glitch on Moon, and how some people were adamant that is was a legit feature.
  11. Good job Craig. I knew you would do us proud when I saw you were the one helping with the site. Edit: For some reason, it only shows one medal for me when I had a dozen or so, but I am sure that is just early teething issues.
  12. Welcome to this side of the community G. You should post more of the map ideas you posted over on the Activision forum. They were wasted over there, and I feel would be embraced and discussed more if posted on this forum. Some of them were VERY impressive. Anyway, welcome to CoDZ. :)
  13. Exactly mate. This is obviously issues that have arisen due to the dated engine that the continue to use. If features like the Bus, Gondola and Tank cannot work properly due to the engine, then they should not be putting them in there. I have at least found out that this is happening to MANY others through posts on here, the Activision from and through Twitter. Shocking really.
  14. Funny you say that. I actually remember playing it in the first few days of the maps release and a few people I played with were jumping up and down constantly when riding the tank. When I asked why they were doing that, they said that they were doing it to stop themselves from dying because the tank was glitched out like the lift in MotD. I actually forgot all about that. Guess the issue has been there since day one and probably only got worse when they patched the tank. On a side note. I WAS standing beside jug one game when the tank was going past and it downed me, even though I was around 3 in game feet away from the tank!?! Thing is... for a game that has sold a billion+ copies, you would expect better patching than this. Why did they make it that the tank kills you instantly upon contact or that the Panzers kill you with one hit when riding it? It is almost as if they want us to not play it!
  15. ^THIS! I already know of 2 other people outside of my games that this has happened to, so I know it is not just us, but I have not seen anything posted on any of the forums, so assumed it might be a small majority who suffer from it. I have 100mb Broadband, so I know my connection is not the issue. :(
  16. Nah man. I got the Achievement about 10 mins after Liam, Milo and NiiK got it. We were literally going toe to toe with them on trying to get it done. lol. No, this is just us playing it for lols, but this problem never happened to us before. It is only happening now that they have patched the already useless tank because of the smelly glitchers who lay inside it because they are too trash to play it properly. Still... if they intended on abandoning the game in this state, I would have preferred they just left the tank the way it is. It's hardly like they maintained the leaderboards properly throughout the games season anyway, so what harm would it have done to leave it!? Shameful from Treyarch in my opinion. :(
  17. So, not sure if this is happening frequently to other players, but in the last 4 games of Origins I have played through yesterday and today, the tank has killed me and other team mates a total of 14 times! Basically, it has happened whenever we try to collect the Lightning Staff parts. No zombies were anywhere near us or the tank when it happens. The tank goes over a bump and boom... dead! This is a video my team mate recorded of his downs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLwBSTNd ... youtu.be&a It is not a host issue as in each of our 4 games, we had different hosts and in all 4 occasions, different team mates. Is this happening to ANYONE else!?! I have not played Origins in over a month and started again yesterday only to be met with this issue. Damn glitchers man... they ruin everything. EDIT: Apologies... I posted this in the wrong section and don't know how to move it to the Origins section.
  18. Yeah, you need to run it through the TC network, but all you will get is 'Servers Unavailable'. I have not seen anyone who has managed to get it to work outside of China so far, and it looks like it won't happen either. The servers lock out IP's from outside of China, so you would need to change your IP to a Chinese one, and even IF it worked after that, the connection would no doubt be too weak to play on. :(
  19. It should be noted that this is only in the missing quotes in the sound files. You do not actually hear these quotes in-game.
  20. Unfortunately, it does seem to be limited to the Chinese market only. The game is Call of Duty Online. It is for PC only and was going through a public beta phase for a few month. From what I can gather, the game is getting officially released as a 'Free to Play' PC steam style title and the maps will be available as micro transactions. This trailer is for the zombie style mode that will come as DLC. Maps are re imagining of Nacht, Ascension and Die Rise, with more to follow. There is no plans to release it outside of China, and as far as I could see, there is no way of playing it here either. :(
  21. This is a video link for those unable to view it on the original Chinese site. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-SRmxptn5Y0 I have to admit to being somewhat jealous that this zombie mode looks vastly superior to the maps featured in Black Ops 2. I will be moving the heavens and the Earth in an attempt at getting to play this when it is released.
  22. When I run the room with the hole, I place a Trample Steam on the lower section so if I go into Who's Who, 9/10 times I spawn in the lower section so I can either quickly run for the elevator shaft, or the Trample Steam and get thrown over towards the MP5, giving me two possible escape routes... because I damn sure ain't gonna try for the revive. Buddha room is the only good spot for reviving yourself I find. I can normally run in there without going down, but when it happens, it is a 50/50 on whether I survive. Depends on how fast the zombies spawn or get in my way. Thing about that now though, is that the Persistent Tombstone perk makes it super easy, and if you just buy your 4 perks, you have 3 shots at going down where you will come back up with all your perks (minus QR) before the machine disappears, but unlimited Nova Crawler rounds to earn the perk for free. It takes all the challenge out of the map now. This is a feature that is NOT present in MotD.
  23. I think Die Rise is ridiculously easy. If you train in the room with the hole doing the figure eight, then you are good to 70+ then it's all about luck with Max Ammo's. I felt MotD was more challenging. Going round the canteen was tricky sometimes with the windows at the sides and meant you had to be on your toes at all times. Even then, I still took around 7 downs in my round 70. You are right about your earlier point with Die Rise though. Having the Nova Crawler round did give the player something to look forward too and also sped up the process. Most maps do have different things to mix it up, but I feel MotD got the balance perfect, while Buried messed it up by giving too many OP weapons and features that killed the challenge.
  24. My main problem with Buried though is that it is, 1: Far too easy, and 2: It's really boring too. lol. MotD at least was pretty tough. Training the canteen was only easy because of the shield and electric cherry. Without both it would be a nightmare. Having the Redeemer, traps and other various weapons at least allows the option of mixing it up a bit. I know that is also the case for Origins, but I don't like that map. (Sorry BSZ... )
  25. Damn... lol. Ok, if I have to pick one, I would have to say MotD. It was a toss up between that and Die Rise, but I have to give it to MotD for being a little tougher, and also more interesting. I can literally walk to any round I want on Die Rise depending on luck with Max Ammo's, but MotD had a array of things you could use, like the trap, Redeemer, Blundergat, Mark II and more. With Die Rise, it was pretty much the Sliquifier all the way.
