  1. We will be going into a game later this evening to do this strat, so I will upload a few rounds worth of footage and post a link here when it is done.
  2. Thank you. That is very much appreciated. :)
  3. Benn is a topic in his own right. I cannot take away his work ethic, but his attitude towards the entire community outwidth his own little forum and YT channel is appalling, so he deserves all the negative feedback he gets. As you can tell, I am not a fan. Shame you are on PSN, as I follow your posts on here a lot, and would have been a pleasure to have played with you. Who know's... we may end up on the same Next-Gen console together. :)
  4. Yeah, me too!? Fated... Great spot mate. I actually think you are right about your thoughts on Maxis and Richtofen. I have ALWAYS thought Maxis was the evil one in all this. Richtofen is power mad, that is all. He has always wanted to rule all, and what would be the point in him destroying the world, and thus having nothing to rule over. NO! He is trying to repair the rifts in time and space, and heal the planet, so he can rule it with an iron fist. Maxis I believe wants to destroy us now. The messages on the TV in Green Run said that those who chose not to follow a side were hunted down. If he is trying to save us, then why would he kill those who did not comply with him? Another good post Titan mate, and one I completey agree with. :)
  5. I actually like DOA, but your above quote did put it into perspective. Now you have made me reconsider whether to play it or not when I fire up BO1. Damn...
  6. You can get the noise on Alcatraz when killing with the Retriever, but so far, the Redeemer is unatainable unless you also get kills (and ultimately, the bashee noise) on the bridge, so not sure what the noise in Alcatraz represents, but it can be heard at least.
  7. Hey guys, DeathBringerZen here. Story enthusiast, and all round easter egg hunter and high round hitter. If anyone want help doing ANY of the games EE's, or you have any theories that you need people to help test out, then hit me up. Also keen to play custom zombies with anyone who plays. XBOX GT: DeathBringerZen STEAM ID: DeathBringerZen Thanks.
  8. I completely agree with what you said. Having it's own loading screen gives it a new level of importance, despite how neglected it is, or how poor a map it is overall. Yes, I know a very small majority out there consider it a great map, but really, deep down it is not. It is FAR too small a map, and I believe it is the second smallest map in zombie history, has a poor perk drop system, is lacking in things to do, and basically has a narrative that is only there to serve as a story feeder for those out there who are new to the story, or did not ever get round to doing the Moon Easter Egg. Yes, training on it is easy, and the map can be served well as a quick play map, but for the potential they had, and the usual 'over-hype' it got pre-release, I expected better, and only purchased the hardened edition for that map. Boy was I left disappointed. :(
  9. Hmm... Reminds me of the bullsh*t posted by one user a while back on the Activision forums. http://community.callofduty.com/message ... #413855579 Wouldn't happen to be you would it? Has the same air of lies to it, and of course, the notorious United Arab Emirates getting the blame again too.
  10. Finally!!! Someone mentions a REAL weapon. None of these stupid weapon like the LAW (1 hit kill packed till what? round 5 or something!?) The MP40 is dearly missed. I know some other weapons are better, but the balance of ammo and damage was ideal on that weapon. Personally, I miss the Gersh and MP40, but the game has most other weapons relpaced well. For anyone to seriously miss the LAW or the Crossbow is beyond comprehension.
  11. Really good spot on this one mate. Can't believe we all failed to take note of this before. If there is 6 pages left to go, then it would imply that we have 2 maps to go on BO2, and then 4 pages for the third zombie installments maps. If we go by how previous installments have went, BO3 (or whatever title Treyarch go with) will have 5 zombie maps also, 1 that comes with the game, and 4 with DLC. Could work if they have another 'Special' map, like MotD, which does not feature a comic book page. Well done on this. :)
  12. The splash damage has not been an issue when we have tried this strat. Also, there seems to be a lot of talk of Brutus being made tougher since the last patch. Could be possible seeing as I unloaded an entire Uzi into him in my last match, on round 7, and he still did not drop!? Either way, the raygun fired at the corner when he approaches drops him in under 2 seconds. If you do not want to chase down 2 rayguns, then yeah, feel free to try the sweeper. It has been reported to take a few more shots than normal to take him down though, but with 4 players focused on him as he approached, I am sure any weapon would ultimately do the job, so yeah, sweeper, raygun... anything really.
  13. Man... I like this theory mate. Can you link me to your thread please? @Rissole. Brilliant thread mate. Well done on the decoding. Message could have several meaning really, so it definitely opens up the flood gates of debates that will no doubt follow.
  14. Make sure at least 2 players are packing Rayguns. Brutus spawns around the corner, but he can be taken out in under 2 seconds if both players fire at the corner as he is coming round. Brutus is really no issue there, so as long as you have the Rayguns, you will be fine. If need be, you move back slowly down the steps, but he will be down before this becomes necessary. just have somebody that has decent aim have the sweeper. With two shots one of them is bound to be the one shot headshot kill that you need. I also give the advice of using the b23r or another handgun. the ray gun would be a good suggestion. I say these because it helps with knifing faster. The sweeper is not needed for this strategy. Having two players with Rayguns is better. Two players firing when Brutus spawns clears him well before he reaches the actual entrance to the strairwell, so the sweeper is unnecessary. Yes, handguns or Raygun is better to be the weapon you are holding when sporking as it does indeed allow you to 'melee' quicker.
  15. I also believe that when we, the player, join the 4 mobsters in their eternal damnation, it is way, way, waaaaaaaay past the events of group 935. For a start, they perk machines are getting phased in and out of this purgatory, and as such, they would have to be after a time period where the perks actually existed in the first place. Then, there is of course the weasel quotes where he is constantly referring to having done something hundreds of times already. There is the historical inaccuracy by Treyarch of having the Water Tower on the 'hellish' version of Alcatraz and the prisoners original events taking place in 1932(?) even though it done not become a Federal Prison until 1934!?! Either way, they have been living this eternal damnation cycle for years and years when we get involved, and there IS evidence to confirm it, so you are definitely right on this one mate.
  17. To be honest, I really do not think it would work as well in a solo or 2 player match. Maybe 2 player, but still would consider it a little risky.
  18. ^^^THIS^^^ In ALL the times I did the Maxis side, we NEVER downed anyone, and always managed to do it. Before even wasting time heading to the Buddha Room when on that step, all people should note is this... If you do not get the quote from Maxis when you Pack-a-Punch the Ballistics, then that is your que to restart, because no matter what you try, it ain't going to work. No point wasting time shooting the statues, the middle of the room or even Russman's forehead. No quote when you PaP = No quote in the Buddha Room.
  19. You will literally burst out laughing when you first do it. The zombies pour in fast, and yet they do not even get a look in. The only problem is you end up getting a sore thumb doing it. Still, definitely worth trying, if just for the fun of it. Fastest known way to get to 33 on MotD without a doubt, and with holding the cafeteria afterwards, round 45 is a breeze on 4 player. Could get to 50-60 in no time either. Something extremely rare in a 4 player match.
  20. Ok guys, this is a Strategy from a friend of mines over on the Activision forums. http://community.callofduty.com/message ... #414424089 Basically, you want to do this in a 3-4 player match. It may have some of the 'better' players out there thinking it is beneath them to do or try it, but let me assure you, this is one of the funnest, and fastest strategies I have ever seen, and if you want to break 40+ on 3-4 player, then this can get you to 34 in under 2 hours. Get all the players to obtain everything as fast as possible, but you MUST obtain the Golden Spork. Once all players obtain the spork, have the cafeteria opened from the MP5 side, and make sure you leave the doorway from the cafeteria to the infirmary closed. Now... everyone head past Electric Cherry, in towards the infirmary and have all 3 players sat inside the doorway at the top of the stairs leading down towards the cafeteria, and have whoever is the white player sat in the middle of the group and start the round. With 3-4 players sat there continuously sporking, the zombies will flood into the doorway in a line, and with the sporking frenzy that ensues, you will be lucky to take even one hit in a whole round. It is like feeding meat into a grinder, as the title suggests. We tried it and made it through round 23-33 in under 35 minutes. Once you are finished with 33, have all 4 players end the game in the cafeteria, 3 players to a window each, and 1 player training at the front using the trap. you can get to 45 in 2 and 1/2 hours doing this. Enjoy! All credit for this strategy goes to Lord Grrr, who is an exceptional zombie player. This: http://community.activision.com/message ... #414419679 is his latest show of skill. Round 76 on Die Rise before he even built the Sliquifier, then 77 to 99 with it. 9000+ Headshots!?! Wow!
  21. We played a 4 player games a couple of nights back and someone got kicked on 33, we played on till 35. It did not save for the other two players in the game who stayed, as their previous high rounds were in the 20's. Mine was above 35, so I could not tell, but it definitely did NOT save for them. My guess, it is a glitch when it DOES save, seeing as the Dev's have acknowledged that it does not and should not save when a player drops out.
  22. Yes, but the Hellhounds and the Nova's ARE part of the story, and are mentioned within radio messages. The Hellhounds within the story originate from Samantha's dog Fluffy. They are Fluffy's pups. The Nova's were part of an experiment and get mentioned as such. The other boss characters are not mentioned in any map they are in or Outwith. MotD makes for interesting discussions, but Brutus is not something or someone I would debate on myself. For a start, there can be multiple Brutus' at any one time, and also, he is just a demon from the mobsters past, seeing as they are living out an eternal damnation. Ghost's of the past... nothing more.
  23. I am the same as Briggz though, and know what he means. I spent the first 2 month of Tranzit searching the map, barely ever making it past round 10 due to endless searches for an elusive next step. At the beginning of January, I gave up and decided to play for rounds. I had already amassed 1200 downs. Now, I only really play for rounds, and have played brilliantly since, going from 40,000 kills and 1200 downs, to 345,000 kills and 2007 downs. I tested a consecutive series of high round games out and made it 12 games in a row to round 40+. I still only have a K/D off around 150, despite registering some pretty decent high rounds across the board. Still no Shotguns!?!
  24. Well, I had always hoped the Pentagon Thief would show back up in the story somehow, but it never materialized. Shame, because I thought they would introduce him as a spy for Richtofen or Group 935 but no. The Avogadro (or him) has the same non-existent history to him as the rest of the bosses so far, so I just don't feel that Brutus is going to be any different. It is always good to speculate on these things, but I just feel it can be wasted when Treyarch give us nothing on their background, and also abandon them after a new map is introduced. The Pentagon Thief and Him had so much potential to become characters in the story, and not just the game.
  25. I am a knife and am better than most shotgunners on my friends list and have much higher rounds recorded than most of them too. Having shotguns does not necessarily make you better than a knife. To assume we would make you look good is arrogant and laughable. I also have higher rounds recorded than you aswell.
