No probs. A lot of people forgot about that quote, and have brought it up many times thinking it was something new. It is easy to forget, seeing as you usually got it in the depot on your first play, and never heard it again. Same goes for the quote when you picked up the Navcard, or built the table. Easily forgotten. lol

This quote from Richtofen is normally heard when you play the game for the first time. It is his introductory quote, when you first collect a power up. It goes... "Aaaaargh...(cough, cough) excuse me, just getting used to the aether" Then it is followed by whatever power up quote you collected. Did you go into a local match? The sound I am talking about is like the noise of an engine running... loudly, when you are at the very beginning of the tunnel, when coming from the Diner. You can't really miss it... It's pretty noticable.

Sorry if this has been mentioned, but I have not seen anyone speak of it yet. When I played a solo match on Tranzit a couple of days back, I head what appeared to be a loud engine when I was entering the tunnel from the Diner. I played solo everyday on Tranzit for over a month, using a Turtle Beach headset, and until the other day, I had never heard this sound before. I had taken a few weeks break from Tranzit, but I know the map like the back of my hand, and have noticed the subtle differences, each time something is changed, and I am sure this is new. It is a strange this to bring up, and it probably means nothing, but why add this sound effect now? What purpose would it have? Still, I am positive I had never heard it before, and now can. Anyone else notice this?

No. It is clearly possible to take out multiple waves of zombies with it, and there is no set number of zombies where the sliquifier stops chaining, so there is no logical reason it can't kill every wave of zombies in a given round. You might be left with a few straggling walkers at the end of the round, but I seriously hope you're not going to nitpick like that. alright, il excuse the little walkers, and yes by theory it is possible, but in practice it isn't true. no one has the skill to do a whole round past 10 with just one shot. I apologize, as I may have exaggerated myself a little, but running in the room with the hole, like in the video, I managed to take out literally all the zombies with one shot, running up from the bottom landing, doing a figure 8, and the going back down again. Yes, I did have some slow walkers left, but my point is it is technically possible, and this is why I think it is OP. My other gripe with the weapon, is that it has aided people who are not worthy of the rank, to obtain shotguns, meaning there is even MORE people out there who have them, but do not necessarily deserve them. Most of the people I know, who took advantage of the Glavaknuckles exploit, earned shotguns. Yes, they lost their high scores, but did not lose the emblem. I just feel it is for these reasons, it is far too OP for zombies.

No, they nerfed it, so it makes crawlers from round 100 onwards. It can still clear a round in one shot.

I just feel that NO weapon, wondrous or not, should be capable of ending an entire round, with one shot. It kind of defeats the purpose of struggling to survive. I would have prefered if they had used a 10, or 20 kill spread at the most. Still, I do think it is an amazing weapon, but maybe just too amazing? I actually feel a little sarcasm in it, from Treyarch's part. lol Still... I am now wondering were they can go from here. How can they possibly top this? so the scavenger from call of the dead, the wunderwaffe, and the thunder gun are all overpowered? No. I said, in my previous comment, that NO weapon should technically, be able to end an entire round with one shot. It can be done easily. I have done it myself... without glitching of course. All those guns you mentioned were only able to take out one wave per shot, except the Wunderwaffe, which was limited to 10 zombies per shot. Big difference between them and the Sliq.

So... this thread is for people who think only THEY are good enough to use the Sliquifier? I myself, use it on solo, but we normally don't bother with it on co-op. We can play a good enough game without it. Sneaky tactic's like this make people come across a little douchy. Sorry, but it's true. Anytime we have went into a public match, we always come across people who hold onto a part, or claim to be the only person in existance who know's how to use it properly. Can't wait to see the back of the gun to be honest. Far too OP for zombies.

Happened to me yesterday... on round 59 solo!?! I can understand it happens on co-op, and I have stopped letting it bother me, but to happen on solo? Wow... :?: Thankfully my high round is 68, or I would have spammed Jimmy's twitter account all day long.

This is the first thing we tried after realising the Die Rise Navcard did not work on the Green Run Nav Table, and it did not work. There is no action on screen at any time, that allows you to interact with the bus driver, so it is a non-starter I'm afraid. Sorry.

It is more likely, that the explorers entered Shangri La, when it was on Earth, but, upon activating the switches, they travelled back in time, to a period where the temple was still on Mars. This is where we find the explorers after all... in the past. My guess is that the temple was moved to Earth at somepoint by the Vril, possibly, as you said, by uplifting a large part of the biosystem. I reckon it is a stargate that is used by the Vril to travel between Mars and Earth. The time machine aspect is probably to allow them to return to Mars at point in time, where the planet was still livable, with an active atmosphere. Either way, Jimmy's tweet has all but confirmed that Shangri La is on Mars, but it is information that changes nothing. We still don't know why it's set on Mars, or whether it changes anything. Probably not.

That is not true. They can be seen on the Wii U version and also on the PC version, as seen here... http://community.callofduty.com/message ... #414227481 Reaper has posted these images on this site too. So it is not only PS3 users who can see them. This does not mean it is not a graphical error though, but it is definitely not exclusive to just the XBOX users.

Sorry, but I hope they bury Turned, and never attempt to resurrect it again. It is a ridiculously poor mode, that offers just a few seconds of laughter, then boredom set's in. At least Grief has a stronger element in place, and probably would be fun on Die Rise, but Turned is very, very poor.

Nova 6 Crawlers the Voice in the Ather (Die Rise intro)
DeathBringerZen replied to Grupo935's topic in Die Rise
Wow... that's an amazing spot. Can't believe no one else noticed this yet!?! -
I do not know if anyone has discussed this, or brought this up before, but when you fire a Pack-a-Punched LSAT in NTZ... There appears to be a voice speaking backwards. I could be wrong, but it definitely sounds like it, when listened to through headphones. Just thought I would mention it...

shortcut to roof without power or trample steam
DeathBringerZen replied to killer2killer's topic in Die Rise
Risky jump, but impressive none the less. Worth trying on early rounds, but I doubt I would attempt to execute it mid round at any point. Found a few new interesting jumps myself now, but mostly using the Stream Trample. -
This is exactly the reason why it got patched so late. No one really knew about it. It was only when Yoteslaya and others put the high round videos up, that it came to the public's attention on how to actually do it. Shame of course, but also understandable. This was not the intended purpose for the gun. Problem we have now though, is that there is literally hundreds, nay, thousands of people on the leaderboards who exploited this method, and Treyarch did not remove them when they did the recent leaderboard clear out. Also understandable, as it is a fine line to say if someone is "cheating", when they are legitimately running there trains into excessively high rounds, and mearly using an exploit in a weapon, that was neither confirmed, or denied, to be right or wrong. Sad thing now though, is that reaching a realistic placement on the Tranzit leaderboard is all but out of the question.

No, he said communication is key. Meaning the online players need to communicate to do the EE. I think he was referring to the fact that only Stu can hear Richtofen. He is referring to the tweet... "Is that it? Final Answer? Commitment" Which was posted around a month after the games release, when we all got stuck looking for a next step, or continuation of Green Run (Tranzit).

What there weapons that revive people...HOLY DAG...I had no dagum idea...no wonder we've been failing this ste...yeah okayI'm done...obviously you neglected to read every single post in this thread...we know what the weapon is...what to do with it...and even though people will always deny the existence of something that "hasn't happened to me" I assure you I have done every step to the exact necessary requirements... Calm down Nicolas cage... He ment nothing but help... It was hardly a helpful comment though, was it? It was already established in this post, that the Ballistic Knifes may or may not be used in this step. Yes, it seems obvious that we are supposed to use them, but thousand have tried and failed with this step, so how was his comment helpful in any way? He is telling us to use the Ballistic in this step... and we are. Result = Still not working

I agree that it does not quite add up. The orbs appearing on the street lights AFTER we did the ToB, did leave me with the impression, that the morse code messages were unrelated to the ToB. The we have all the other unresolved issues. The numbers on the wall in the Power Station. What does they mean? Such bold numbers... I understand what you mean by it being something that could be buried away in the midst of the fog, or on a hill somewhere. God knows, I have looked. Still, 4000 miles racked up, and I ain't found much. Friend of mines (FlyingPlatapus) managed to find something of interest about a fortnight ago. Here it is... Go into a game, and buy the Glavaknuckles. Now quit, and go into Theater Mode, and fast forward till you get to the point where you bought the knuckles. If you pause it, then flick between the camera modes (1st Person, 3rd Person, Free Roam), eventually, the camera jumps from the Diner roof, to the Forest Cafe in town. You are in Free Roam mode, hovering directly above the cafe. Now, if you go down into the cafe, you will find a street lamp in the middle of the building. I swear to god. It is right inside the room that is behind the room with the hole in the wall. Wierd thing about it? It is directly where the beam goes from the tower, when you ADS the Laundry Room door. Now either that means something (why would the camera happen to take you there in theater mode?), or it is just lazy programming by the devs, and it just got left over. I am suspicious about it.

Yes, but how many people want to down themselves 100+ times in order to test whether it is a glitch or not? Maybe Treyarch should just pull their fingers out, and actually fix the Easter Egg steps. After all, the Tranzit ones have been buggy since the day of the launch. 3 months later...

CoDz official Turned general feedback and first impressions
DeathBringerZen replied to MegaAfroMan's topic in Turned
Why does everyone keep saying this? I can't remember very many threads on this site or the Activision forums in the last 3 years, where people cried out to be a zombie. Maybe I just missed them. -
High Round Strategies on Tranzit after patch? (40+)
DeathBringerZen replied to NeedaLittleRevive's topic in TranZit
Nope. All buildables remain at their tables for collection. The Jetgun is the only buildable that requires rebuilding in Tranzit, and that is only if it explodes.
