  1. Every map in Black Ops 2 has several spots specifically designed with camping in mind. Asides from Nuketown, all the other maps have an abundance of camping areas. Die Rise is probably made with camping in mind above training easily. There is too many to list, but I could probably name about 20+ spots on All the other maps. I also know that a LOT of people do still camp in these spots, so I think camping is still just as common as training is. Regarding training being easy... it is on some maps, definitely, but it is nowhere near as simple as some suggest. It requires constant awareness and a lot of skill to read spawns. I get that some maps are ridiculously easy to train on, but even then, I still see a lot of good players struggle once they get to later rounds. It is not just about reading spawns... you also need to take care of the current horde you have while then dealing with the rapid respawn that follows. I take pride in getting to high rounds and consider myself to be skilled enough to do it. If it was as easy as some suggest, then everyone would be getting high rounds, and they would certainly be less glitchers. For maps like Ascension and Tranzit, that are considered some of the easiest to train on, I don't see too many people on my friends list above 40 on either map.
  2. You guys know that you can edit quotes so they only contain what quote you are actually answering... right? Too much quotes for a one sentence response. lol.
  3. Yep... that is pretty much the case with me too. lol. I also know where all the guillotine and gallow parts are. At least they don't have more than one spawn location, so it is easy enough to remember those ones.
  4. Old news I'm afraid, and from what I remember reading, it was a terribly written piece, and suffered from poor spelling and grammar. I call BS on it myself.
  5. I know where all the locations for each part are on all maps (buildables and Navcard parts), so as EJ said, you are not special. Still... it IS a lot of parts to remember, so it is no surprise that some people do tend to forget where certain ones are. @Boom - Either on the shelf in Nacht, or on the cabinet in the garage at diner if you mean the radio. The reader actually comes as part of the meteor, and shows up when you add that to the table.
  6. Well, I get what you are saying, but I still know the fastest strategy to get to 80 on the whole map using only the Ice Staff, which is to actually camp at the semtex in-between Gen 1 & 3, with both doors closed for extra fast spawn in's, then I will swap out to the wind from 80 onwards. Less than 2 minute rounds all through the 60-70's. Fire Staff will cause the game to freeze up 90% of the time after 50, and lightning is useless from 35 onwards. Basically, the only advantage to this is that you can hold the wind and ice at the same time, and unskilled players will not be able to train in tough spots like gen 4 or under the church, so they will opt for the safety of the crazy place, where there is actually NO advantage, as the staff holders are all there anyway, so like I said... they are at hand anyway. I get that it will help "good" players make it from 80-100+ easily enough, but I would hardly consider it game breaking when only 2 staffs actually work beyond round 70. The worst thing about it will no doubt be the in-game trolls who try to grab as many as they can. I won't ever be doing myself personally unless it becomes common practice throughout the community. People consider the hacker spitting trick on Moon to be a glitch, but everyone does it, and Treyarch never patched it on their final BO1 title update despite it being very well known.
  7. It does not matter whether you can hold one or four, the only staffs useful in later rounds is the ice and wind anyway, and the only real useful strategy is to train in the crazy place, where all the staffs are at hand. Still... in-game trolls will have a field day. Also, I really do hate that GlitchingQueen. God damn her... to hell!
  8. Going for 100 on Origins today! Any tips from 80 onwards anyone?

I am unfamiliar with the 'robot trap strat'? Is that where you get them to step on the zombies?

Sugar, deleted your response DBZ in error, I meant to click delete on AW's second yes reply. sorry.

  9. Looking for a SERIOUS co-op partner to do high rounds with me. I am looking for someone who is looking to break 50-60+ on EVERY map to date... as in... ALL maps from Nacht to Origins. I want someone who wants to push every map to the limits, and I want someone who is willing to stay the course. Only the strongest should apply!

good luck DBZ! i don't have the time to do that high of rounds co-op but with the right partner you'll be in business for sure

  10. I agree with Dahniska. NEVER hit the box on Origins if playing solo, or if needs be, hit it a maximum of 4 times. You can live with just the packed Mauser and the ice staff up until round 70-75, then you should consider the wind and ice combo to carry you up to 80+. Hitting the box and moving it brings fire sales, and that is something you do NOT want on solo. You do not need anything from the box, so don't waste your time on it.
  11. That may be true, but World at War & Black Ops 1 zombies were considered good by the masses, where as Black Ops 2 zombies was considered poor by a large portion of the community and would be considered a failure, so I think our feelings towards BO2 and the future of the series should not be dismissed as a "rinse & repeat" affair. For the sake of their jobs, they really should take on board the grievances we had regarding BO2. Ghosts was proof that the Call of Duty franchise is finally starting to fail and BO2 zombies also proved that zombies is starting to head that way too. If they think they can just churn out any old trash and we will buy it, then they will soon learn that is not the case. CoD has been pretty good for a few years now but it is started to look old, and people are getting bored. I don't think it is as simple as just expecting us to buy it on name alone.
  12. I think Technics was meaning they can't f*ck up or there will be no excuses, not that they can't f*ck up in general. I think we all know that they obviously CAN mess up the game mode. They pretty much did with BO2.
  13. Raining fire has become so easy that I do it almost every time on the first try. What console are you on Beast? If you are on XBOX, Send me a friend request and watch my previous Origins matches to see how it is done. Basically, I train a single zombie on the path beside the MP40, and when I see the robots coming, I check whether it is the robots left foot or right foot (I prefer the robots right foot where the soul chest is). Once inside it, I let the countdown get to one, then I say "zero" in my head afterwards and hit the button. I time it so that it is press the button exactly as the purge is about to start. This gives me the time to run RIGHT UP TO the fence (or boxes if done from the left foot) and it is just a quick lob over to it. NEVER cook the grenade. You move slower and it will NOT work. Just run to the fence or the boxes and then lob it over. It always works man.
  14. Lies! On a serious note... I don't like Origins on co-op, but it is my favorite map to play on solo out of ANY of the zombie maps released to date. It is the most satisfying, and comfortable map to run solo on, with multiple strategies available that all seem to be suited primarily to solo play. I understand your frustrations though. I too hated certain things on the map and like most people who struggled at first, I also blamed the giants, the panzers, the EE being too hard etc, but all you need to do is practice more and more. I can now finish the EE on solo by round 15-16 every time I play it. Things like the boxes are easy if done early on. Try entering no mans land with one zombie left on round two and you can get the Jug, Excavation & Stamina boxes all filled with zombies to spare on round 7. Now you can keep one and get the lightning and wind staffs build and you are good to take on the panzer and fill the church box on round 8 going into 9. Punches and air strikes are then obtained by round 10. It is easy the more you practice, but it takes time. Origins is easily one of the hardest maps to learn, and if you are willing to put the time in, you will over time consider it to be one of the best maps ever released. Unfortunately, the same can't be said about some of the features within the map or the storyline that goes with it.
  15. That was very well put, and I completely understand where you are coming from. Black Ops 2 left a bad taste in most peoples mouths and it also broke down a once strong community. Shame. Anyway, again my sincerest apologies. :)
  16. No. I went out to ride the tank with either the wind or ice staff as I was playing a 70+ high round solo game, so pretty much never used the lightning staff.
  17. It was solo I was testing it out on, and after again testing it last night, I have found it to vary. I had power-ups respawn after just 2 rounds at one point, and on another occasion it took 6-7 rounds to respawn them. I am still unsure if it is just random or if there is a specific way to get them to come in.
  18. Then accept my apologies for being negative towards you, but I have found that several members from the PTG side of the community can tend to be very negative at times, so expected the same here.
  19. Your theory is completely based on his "world colide" theory. It is basically 95% his with a little bit of your own interpretation thrown in. You can't deny it. Even he said in one of his videos that the sky was important, and that Der Riese was all futurepoof etc.
  20. I have been trying this out lately, and it seems that the power-up drops show up every 3-4 rounds when riding the tank around. They vary time to time, but getting Max Ammo's seems to be frequent when doing it.
  21. The arrogance and rude nature of your response is expected seeing as you are from "that" side of the community. Here is something worthwhile... This is not your theory... it's Benn's, and It is highly flawed. Why don't you come up with your own interpretation of events instead of passing someone else's off as your own!? He is NOT the messiah... he's a very naughty boy.
  22. I have had it take around 8-10 attempts at packing the DSR before getting the iron sight, so it is not that uncommon, but over 20!? Damn...
  23. I don't really use the fridge on any of the N4 maps, but if I do happen to use it, it will usually be a PaP'd SVU I keep in it. That weapon is (as others have mentioned) a BEAST! Not sure whether B3A5T or Boom were talking about it packed or not, but I got to round 60 on Buried using only that and sallies, and I am positive it was still one hit kill past 50 packed! DSR is slightly more powerful, but it is not as comfortable to use as the SVU.
  24. Great thread MMX. Great idea also. I definitely have not seen a weapon guide condensed into one thread before. +1
  25. It happens on Tranzit when you turn on the power. Heard you need to be Samuel to see it, but I am pretty sure I have seen it with Marlton before. Also, it does not happen all the time on Tranzit, just randomly.
