  1. this is a solid jimping off point. if i were you id try and piece together a theory that works before someone else takes your ideas and re posts them as their own. been happening all over the threads thesee days.
  2. I have heard similar theories on this site recently. I cant say its wrong tho because it actually makes a bit of sense. The perk machines were originally worked into the story line as drinks that would help soldiars become super soldiars n all that so its entirely possible. I believe that they left moon, and perhaps were granted some form of sanctuary because of being allied to richtofen in various ways. This is all guesswork tho.
  3. I also have had the exact same thaughts! wtf is purple magic? A few notes on the subject. Ppl think its richtofen that teleported them, and this makes some sense logically, but Richtofen says in the new map a quote about his abilities to affect the physical world are limitied. teleporting and reversing time do not seem limited. Personally I think that ppl in this thread are hitting the nail on the head. Richtofen heard the Vril which was where he got the ideas and technology to act out his ownsinister plot. We also know that the more zombies we kill, the stronger the connection to richtofen gets. I think it is possible that the vril are communicating to Stu as they were richtofen for whatever purposes, and richtofen is now abusing a large amount of power in the aether. Maybe the vril want our crew to secretly help THEM throw both of these mad doctors out of alignment while acting like they are helping one or the other. After all that is pretty much what Richtofen did to the vril Ya. Also in the nuketown loading screen dont we see some kind of alien crafts? thats what i thaught i saw anyway.
  4. im wondering if the nav card table somehow locks in your last EE. on tranzit its possible to do both in same game, idk yet about this one but perhaps the nav card from tranzit locks your decision as to who your helping? idk i do know that we are feeling alot like kids whose parents are going thru a divorce and we are tryin to ride the fence and hope for 2 christmas' (yaaay).

I do believe that they put that derelict perk machine in the map as you fall down the elevator just to glimpse it as if to think "i probably could use that about now". I dont see why they would put it in otherwise.
  6. This is an interesting find. The map Kino Der Toten seems very relevant to this map. With the nova jumpers and all.

    Head Games

I have been reading around the forums recently and noticed alot of speculation about Richtofens power being able to alter or affect time to keep our heroes in a conintuous loop. Although this is also a solid theory and would explain the trial and error process that goes into zombies mode, I don't believe this is the case. A few things that convince me otherwise. First being the fact that when the video starts we see the destroyed earth and then a teleportation as we hear Stu speak to either Richtofen or a Vril voice. The actual voice is muffled with intention. When they first appear at the new location Stuhlinger is asking things like "go where?" and saying negetive things like "there is nothing left". He continues this hesitant conversation with the voices and seems to be at odds with whatever he is being told to do. Directly after this scene we see the other characters show up along with a hoarde of zombies. Why were they seperate to begin with? We soon see a Nova Jumper kill Russman or at least take a bite and the rest of our heroes flee only to die or become over run shortly after. Then we see another entrance to the map via teleportation with all members present but in a sleightly different area. Stuhlinger asks the question "have we been here before?" To me this indicated that the Vril or Richtofen were simply playing mind games with Stuhlinger. They were getting resistance to their plans and didn't like it so they projected a scenario of him under attack and friends dying because of his actions or inaction. If another character had been the one to say the quote "have we been here before?" I don't believe this theory would hold up. But Stu says it, causing me to think that this premonition or vision was only available to him and was result of eating the flesh. the 115 in the flesh has given others access to his mind and it is not fully his own any more. The radio broadcasts on the television set supports this theory indicating that the sickest people are acting alot like Stuhlinger and are a danger to other survivors. The teleportation itself is still quite mysterious to me because its not a direct teleport its more like a beam that transports them.In this Intro we are seeing all our characters bash eachother but still work together. I believe the group already knows about him eating zombie flesh but his memory loss is affecting his mind and he is becoming more unstable and more dangerous. Richtofen also is heard saying "accept your fate, begin anew" But as only Stu can hear it, i beleive this is part of the premonition. Any thaughts or holes to poke?
  8. u are indeed very good at decyphering lyrics. I believe you to be 100% right in your analysis except for the POV I beleive that the lyrics could also strongly reflect on events from Samantha's POV. The 115 mixing with the DNA is something I predicted when I first joined the site. I wish I could write as good as you, I have shitty post structure in general. No one believes what I say when I have a shitty format and haven't been a member for 2 years. Im kinda disappointed that people dont take me seriously for these reasons, but also I am just glad that the info is getting out there. I haven't heard the actual song yet because I wanted to read this analysis before listening and just from the reading, I feel like this song is very cryptic and may perhaps even be hinting at the fact that Stuhlinger may have .... may have... been a zombie at some point. There are supporting clues such as the intro sequence showing a zombie eating an arm, but the zombie may not be a zombie as he has been eating the flesh too. This sounds far fetched and rediculus at first but dwell on it for a moment and try to poke holes in it... Also the fact that all this began trying to create super soldiars and found some to be immune or inneffective, the gun from CotD that turned people back into humans and his mysterious past that causes him to not trust gov't at all and his crazy "alien abduction" stories. We know that the others mock him for eating flesh already so I assume they know about it already, but perhaps this is another aspect of the past that would actually cause our crew to turn on him and kill him like he fears. Also he believes he has been "abducted" by aliens. The effects of alien abduction are similar to the ones described by the CDC from the television. Memory loss and all that. Not to mention the fact that Stu is just plain unstable. Perhaps psychosis caused by a repressed psychological trauma such as death? IDK IDK IDK ill say that a bunch of times because this is all just speculation, but it makes sense to me. AT LEAST as a plausibility.
  9. it most definately means something. Similar to how Tranzit means multiple things, so does Great Leap Foreward. Example being Tranzit means moving around which we do on the map very much. But it also means moving in the sense that we will be moving all over for these zombies maps. I hope that is clear and doesn't seem reduntant. Great Leap Foreward could possibly mean that we are going to take a GIANT step in our EE quests furthering our story line, or it could possibly indicate a technilogical advancement or even time travel. Zombies creaters tend to put clues in the games that mean something, but as you learn more and more about the story line buried deep into the game, you will find that the clues also have alternative meanings.
  10. Tac I believe me and you are on the same page. I am all over the place on these forums talking about all kinds of things and most of my topics or comments get lost in the haze. Actually alot of things I predicted are proving to be true. not tryin to toot my own horn just very proud ha. But yes... there are 2 aspects of this storyline that we are overlooking entirely. These 2 things are the Vril, and the Illuminati. We are all over the place with wild theories as a community and are forgetting the original story that was unfolding before the real and in game time gap since B.O. 1. Richtofen was an agent of the Illuminati and Richtofen heard the Vril voices in his head. I have been waiting for these elements to surface and it seems they are but in new interesting ways. I believe that because Stuhlinger was in this "cult" at one point he was made to eat the flesh or chose to. I also believe this "cult" to be remnants of the secret society known as "illuminati" or "enlightened ones" which really refers to their quest for knowledge and seeking understanding. I believe that early on in the social decay that factions were formed as naturally as they would if a large natural disaster really happened, and people began turning on eachother. The CDC was lost for some reason but the "former" director still goes on record saying that people exposed to air borne contaminations (115) are starting to experience symptoms (that he is experiencing)that eventually lead to suicidal or homicidal actions towards other survivors, even noting the "hidden agenda". I believe that after this was broadcast people went on a witch hunt for people who were "sick" which initially forced them into hiding individually but eventually they banded together to survive for obvious reasons. Its no secret that these people are clearly showing signs of "turning" if only on a minute level as they begin to lose their humanity and obviously can start to hear richtofens voice and feel his influence. Basically once richtofen convinces people that eating the flesh will nourish them and grant them favor from a "god", they ingest more 115 and become even more suseptable to his influence and he then controls them. Richtofen needs only "loyal subjects" to share his knowledge with and do his bidding. Like previous to the apocolypse i believe these cultists actively infiltrate organizations and surviving groups to be ready for orders from their leader. Stuhlinger wont tell his compadres about his past crimes because of the reasons behind the actions not just the actions. They seem to know already that he eats or has eaten flesh from zombies. Perhaps the reason he was eating was to inherit the voice of richtofen to become an agent of his cult following. he doesn't even need to corespond with richtofen only be in the right place and be ready for orders. How the Vril come into the story is yet to be discovered I wont speculate too much on that as i havent explored the map yet. Sorry for long winded-ness I just wanted to be clear on what my theory was.
  11. I wouldnt expect them to do anything they have done previously. aside from that just being tacky and unoriginal it would be too easy to guess. just my thaughts not trying to tear down your idea.
  12. hmmm... really interesting connecting the partial picture to the tranzit loading screen. I wont make wild guesses only to be proved wrong but I will say it looks like the man standing on the ledge is stuhlinger and he is facing another tower of some kind. Has anyone tried explaining the explosion in the back of the Tranzit postcard? i am still curious about that.
  13. This intro scene reminds me of so many movies i have seen where they set up the ending as the intro. we see russman die yes, but i believe personally that this is a premonition projected into stuhlingers head. My train of thaught being that we see bad things begin to happen as stuhlinger is defying richtofens commands. What is for sure at this point is that stuhlinger is dangerous to himself and others.
  14. I am surprised no one has mentioned the idea that the whole intro could have been a "vision" that richtofen gave stuhlinger to coax him into submission. As if he doesn't comply then he or one of his partners will die. The story is beginning to get very interesting. After hearing the former CDC radio transmissions and all that on the TV it seems we have a surviving population and warring factions. Awesome.
  15. Good stuff goin on in here. good old fashioned brainstorming.... howevery I believe personally that there is 2 main plausibilities. 1. that was an "ending at the beginning" like some movies, games and books like to do sometimes. 2. There in fact is a "rift" between timelines and we are in fact as alot of people theorized MULTIPLE timelines that need to be mended back to one. I have not seen too much but this is my theory so far.
  16. Its pre final cut of the game. there is also a placeholder u can see for a brief moment where the busdriver should be. instead it appears as just a large shape. Hard to notice I watched a few times.
  17. the man has a point tho risole we have absolutely no evidence that any of them ARE alive still... only a hope and a dream.
  18. Hmmmm.... Very interesting indeed. You may have stumbled onto a clue that no one else has picked up on yet. These two statements are at odds with each other aren't they? I have noticed and heard these as well but never really analyzed it. This could be a situation where the two statements were never meant to be cross referenced OR it could be a clear indication that our old crew is long gone. Good find man. I hope someone comes up with a good answer cuz i cant explain away this conundrum.
  19. The only aspect that I can think that makes the most sense, is that when we kill zombies they get stronger. Also Richtofen's/Samantha's power gets stronger. I can see that Richtofen would turn survival into a game for himself which is "grief" but samantha has no motivation for it... unless she is just training humans on earth to strengthen her final attacks towards O4 on moon before they can stop her reign of power... Maybe we will find out. By training humans I mean gather a group that can massacre hoardes to feed her more power and souls.
  20. I feel what your saying but thats not quite what I was getting at. I was just trying to say that the original map didnt have any characters or story besides a plane crash. Verrukt was the jumping off of the series and DID have a story, but the characters were silent, and I believe you did well to explain away how this all makes sense. I was referring to the actual story line that is in effect now. I think they wanted to tie everything back together in some way so they built another NDU in Green Run to make sure that everything gels together smoothly for what story they have in mind now.
  21. Thats kinda waht i was gettin at. We know pretty much whats happening, I dont feel Turned mode needs its own story or description to make sense. The zombies can see through walls because it is an "omnipotent" being that is controlling their actions. These people are dead and their brains arent working on a conscious level. Richtofen is acting as the puppeteer and simply directs them toward us. My question is... Why is Richtofen trying to kill us? I mean I know all the story and all that but it doesn't QUITE add up for me. He is a psychopath I know but usually there is a reason that certain ppl are being hunted and killed. Samantha wanted revenge on 935. What have our characters done to piss of Richtofen? Maybe I am reading too much into it.
  22. Richtofen and Maxxis could be considered 2 sides of the same coin as far as the rest of us are concerned. they both are promising us that we are saving the world. the world is FUBAR ha.
  23. I do think that this was the original intent. People are complaining about zombies being faster and stronger and dying when lonesome. I dont beleive they patched something and accidently made all the zombies more fierce. I believe they are stepping up the difficulty and the zombie dying is a side effect. Personally I have retired from Tranzit. Its a lame duck to me now.
  24. I can see that. sometimes ill start off my posts with capital I's and finish it with lowercase ones ha. I have actually had a few ppl tell me that i need to put more work into my posts, but im not trying to publish a paper on zombie lore i just wanna get my theory out there and discuss. But this theory makes the most logical sense at the moment. although tomorrow i may be wrong... I dont care, if i am. I am not claiming to know for a fact, but so far i d put my money on some sort of broadcasting system or transmission device AT THIS POINT. not to say that we will only be working on this theory in game or building this system. I believe it is a part of the bigger picture tho.
  25. This is the Die Rise EE Acheivement. /\ /\ /\ /\ This tells me that the next Easter Egg quest will in fact expand on the theory that we are trying to either block or intercept whatever transmission is coming from Richtofen and Maxxis to actually control the zombies in the way they do. I myself have had the theory that we are in fact attempting to control the brainwashing frequencies that are being broadcast, as we know in multiple instances the group 935 have tried brainwashing via radio waves. Perhaps they have a working system up and running, and we are intercepting or perhaps we are going to CREATE a system to override the one already in place somewhere else. Either way I am just posting this to gage ppls reactions and thaoughts on the subjects.
