  1. I agree with you, not just for the reasons above, but because the map is also designed so that sitting in a corner is the way to go. There is no challenge to setting up and little challenge for mid and high rounds (though it gets a little bit harder 70+). Easiest map ever? Yes.
  2. All stats will always count as long as you are online. However you high round will not save if someone leaves unless that person was the host and it migrates host to a player still in the game.
  3. I started streaming Zombies on Twitch for the first time! I'm going to try for the World Record on MotD and will stream my progress a bit at a time.

  4. Also here's to hoping they make a set featuring a huge Origins robot. I would so buy that.
  5. There's one based off of Tranzit too.
  6. There had better be two distinct maps on the disc like BO1. And good maps too. None of that lazy "survival map" nonsense. Also, I think it would not be unreasonable to hope for 5 DLC packs - if it's a 3 year cycle it would be good to include a bit more content. I'd like to see more maps like Mob and especially Origins. Die Rise (pre-patch) was probably the best blend of BO1 and 2 though- I would not mind more maps kind of like that. Not everyone agrees with me but I would like to see more from the "N4", continuing from the end of Maxis' version of the Buried easter egg. And more about the characters with a blend of the easter egg styles of both Black Ops titles. 2015 really is too far away. I may end up taking a break from CoD after I reach some more of my zombies goals.
  7. Sorry Eternal but on that one I disagree with you. It's been shown many times on each map that there is always a "best" or a "superior" strategy. If you were talking about multiplayer you might be right but in zombies there is always an ideal endgame strategy. Always.
  8. I've noticed this too, same with Electric Cherry. Fortunately there are some things it doesn't affect like the door to laundry from above.
  9. Let me correct this guide and all speculation once and for all. First step is to get the tomahawk. Second is kills in the prison/anywhere (maybe). Once you hear the sound you are set to move on. I'm sure its less than 30 as I usually do this step with the zombies from the laundry plane part step. Third you go to the bridge and complete a whole round without shooting a shot, killing everything with the tomahawk. Once you hear the sound on completion of a round, you're good. The very earliest that this step can be completed is at the end of Round 10, making 12 the earliest round you can have the Redeemer. Fourth, go and throw your tomahawk into the fiery pit in the center of the prison. If it isn't accepted you did something wrong. Final step is on the round after the one where you lose your tomahawk to the pit. Go in afterlife to the place where you got the tomahawk originally and pick it up. Voila, you're done. These are the exact steps. For the last month and a half I have been playing this map and yeah, this is how it's done.
  10. You can also use a gat from the box and skip having to look for all the skulls. Saves a lot of time and work.
  11. Yes, a long time ago.
  12. Nuketown and Green Run survival maps. There is like nothing to them. So boring.
  13. Looks good and should help keep more activity going for the older maps. Very well done!
  14. Persistent perks don't make a huge difference except for that Tombstone one, which only really affects Buried and I can do fine without it. Bank and weapon locker basically don't exist to me since I never use them anyway. I earn my stuff as I go regardless of what map it is.
  15. The biggest one: practice. And then practice some more and then some. Literally that is the main thing. Knowing the zombie spawns and understanding their pathing is crucial too. For all of the high round training strategies you will need to understand these things. Good luck!
  16. This. I only play Local for Solo now. There is no advantage to playing online really as the leaderboards for everything are messed up. The only way to show your rounds or whatever and actually make sure you get the credit you deserve and that you are competing with real legit players is to stream/upload your stuff.

      Awesome job man. What map?

Mob of the Dead. Thanks! I will upload footage today most likely.

Origins is most likely impossible to get 200 on. I highly doubt anyone will ever be able to do that.

I will never quite understand how you (crazy (jk)) people manage to get rounds into the triple digits. I've surely achieved Round 56 before, but how the hell do any of you guys manage past round 100? You must have time on your hands for that.

  18. I also think the Comic Tears thread would be a good one for this.
  19. Thanks for the responses. I haven't found the button you all mentioned but I will keep my eyes open.
  20. I can't see the right side of the forum page where usually I could see things like status updates, donations and the like. This started today. Is there any reason why this changed? Thanks in advance.
  21. So, like, that guide I put together for Solo Origins... it must not have been very good.

I understand your concern. To be fair, those were pinned a good deal back, so we may have to clean them out.

      Chopper

The pinning of topics has never really been managed properly, I always thought that the best couple of strategies for each map should be pinned.

Ive got some time tonight and Craig has some today. We are going to unpin what's not necessary and start pinning threads such as yours.

  22. Thing is the Sliquifier was doing what it was meant to do even pre-patch. However, for very obvious and important reasons, you were never meant to have more than one staff at a time. It is one of the many glitches Origins has, but it seems that this was big enough to actually get their attention. The weapons should never be changed (except for fixing Fire Staff) but glitches should be fixed.
  23. I'm currently paused on 139 MotD, trying for 200 again whenever I'm not working or sleeping. However, I might go at Moon again. The last time I was playing BO1 I actually was playing Moon and trying to do the receiving bay strategy, however I restarted like 10 times hoping to get the Tunnel 6 excavator to trap slow walking queer. It never happened and I went back to BO2 to do my Buried run. That excavator thing really is annoying.
  24. Probably a weak attempt on their end to fix the "3 staffs at once" issue. I hope this is true actually because it would prove that they are still aware of what's going down. That said this really should be fixed. I haven't had internet lately so I haven't had the chance to update my game, but this is a real problem.
  25. I'm against this. It clearly worked much differently whenever this was active before. Things have changed now and the change should be respected, in my opinion.
