  1. Yeah, I was thinking about that. As far as the map layout being easy, well... it is once you are used to it. But while you're still learning it, it can be confusing, and unlike TranZit the various sections of it don't come with names either. A map would be pretty nice, we may need that as a point of reference to go with this if we can't have long descriptions with your spreadsheet (imo). As far as shortening the descriptions, I'd like to know what people want to name each building before I do that so no one gets confused. Someone else may have an easier way to condense this, and if so, go for it.
  2. Quick Revive always is in the elevator closest to spawn. Who's Who and Speed Cola are the other perk machines that are always in that building. The other guys seem to have forgotten that you can also get the free perk by killing the jumper zombies with the Trample Steam. I see that no one filled out all the wall weapons and locations (other than the melee weapons), so I'll list them here: Olympia (500 points) - On the wall in the spawn room. M14 (500 points) - Next to the Quick Revive elevator, top floor. PDW (1000 points) - Next to the Quick Revive elevator, middle floor. SVU (1000 points) - At the top of the escalator, middle floor of spawn building. B23R (1000 points) - On a wall near the Trample Steam Workbench. AN-94 (1200 points) - At the bottom of the shaft used to descend the Escher building. AK74U (1200 points) - Bottom level of power building, on the outside, right where you can jump across to it from the Buddha room. MP5 (1000 points) - Right underneath the open area in front of the dragons. Go down the ramp to the elevator, then turn right. It'll be on the wall to your left. Semtex (250 points) - From the top of the ramp next to the dragon, turn right and jump down. Claymores (1000 points) - On a wall on the top of the power building, not far from the central two elevators. I think that's all of them (not counting the melee weapons). And the Mystery box has three spawn places: 1. At the top of the Escher building. Accessed by going down the escalator on the second floor of spawn building, then going past the large hallway on the right and taking the narrow passage along the side of the building, then going down the ramp. 2. Same as the 1st spawn point of the box, except don't go down the ramp. The box is in the small **** please report this topic, post ****. 3. In the "lonely corner" of the roof of the power building. Accessed by going to the Semtex, then going around the corner and jumping down next to the elevator there. The box is in a room you can see if you turn left. Hope this helps.
  3. Notice how I didn't say "glitch", I said "exploit". What this guy said. The spot you mentioned has a weakness (I'd even go so far as to say that Treyarch made that room the way it is with that very intent in mind, that you could camp there but it's risky due to the weapon being next to the spawn that you can't control. Not to mention that it's a one-use thing, there's no way out except that exit which removes your defense) - this one I'm talking about doesn't. You can always just jump down if you get overrun, do a lap in the level, reset everything and continue. I know that you're a good zombies player, your Tranzit guide had some great tips. But think about what I'm saying. The spot in question could take 4 people easily - each with their own Sliquifier. That's 200 shots, and each shot can kill over 24 zombies easily. Do the math and basically you're certain to get enough Max Ammos (especially with the crawler rounds) until who knows when. Not to mention, 4 Trample Steam traps as well if they get past the goo. This is beyond dumb and takes no skill, not compared to running a real train. I don't think Treyarch made the map with this intent, especially if you think about most of their maps. One of their concepts in map design is that every place - every camping spot - has a weakness. There is no Zombies map that has this possibility like this that isn't a glitch. I think it would be reasonable to patch the map and allow the zombies to spawn at other places.
  4. I was checking the leaderboards a bit ago and took a glance at the latest world record. Basically, the guy used an exploit in the small room where you buy Galvaknuckles before dropping down to the AN-94. When you're there, zombies will only spawn from the window next to the knuckles. If you sit in front of that window and periodically shoot Sliquifier shots at the ground, all zombies will die as they spawn. This wouldn't be so dumb if they could spawn from other windows, but as it is, this takes all skill away from the game. Treyarch really should fix this. This is gonna become to Die Rise what the tunnel barrier glitch was to TranZit.
  5. Was just about to make a thread on this but you beat me to it. Yes, I tested this a bit. Zombies that have taken no damage now die out when you leave the immediate vicinity. In other words, they will NOT respawn on you. The round simply ends. I wonder if this can be exploited to fly through rounds faster... gather a group of zombies, then run away fast and see if they all die without you firing a shot. This doesn't seem to work until the final wave of a round. I tried doing this from the start (was testing on round 14 and 15) and they were still spawning as I moved around the map; I'll have to test it more to be certain, though. Pretty stupid of Treyarch to change this honestly, it really hurts you as you now have to slowly walk the last runner around. It also takes the fun away a bit for me. I hope they update this again and make it go back to the way it was. On a better note, I checked to see if the barrier glitch in the tunnel works, and now you can't even put your shield down in that corner. About time. Haven't looked at the power station glitch yet. Might just be me but the zombies seem a bit faster and I'm getting swiped at (successfully) more than I was earlier. But I'm not sure on that.
  6. Really hyped. Glad Misty is returning too, she's my fave character in Zombies.
  7. although i understand you have seemingly a ton of gripes with tranzit, it appears that if you don't like that many things about it, you should probably avoid playing BO2 zombies and go back to BO 1. seems like you have a problem with literally almost all of the new innovations for BO2 lol Nah bro. I actually like a lot of things about Tranzit too. The Turbine and portable traps. The variety of locations. The free teleporting. The challenge of remembering stuff. Two melee weapons and like I said the fridge and bank. Thing is you're more likely top remember annoying stuff and there are quite a few of those, lol.
  8. Probably should add to that list that the Jet Gun breaks fast, you can't sprint with it equipped and it doesn't stun the Zombies while sucking them in, which has resulted in me getting downed at full health with Jug because they were able to swipe me while being sucked in.
  9. Personally, yeah I think it is a little too tedious. I think the map takes an aggressive step away from classic maps and it forces you to spend a lot of time moving around just to get yourself properly outfitted. On the other side, as others have said, there is the bank vault and the fridge to help you pick another game up to speed more quickly. In general I do enjoy the map. (First post on this forum, btw. ^^) I personally avoid the bus in general. It's a death trap a lot of the time. Teleporting ftw. Gripes with Tranzit: -Takes too long to get set up -No special Wonder Weapons (I don't count the Jet Gun, because it doesn't use ammo, isn't a melee weapon and uses your equipment slot) -Jug can be a royal pain to get if you go down -Electric Zombie -Lava -Nades are destroyed by lava -Leaderboards issues -Bus ruins my favorite training spots >.> -No wall guns in Town, and in general the best wall guns are at places that are hard to train at -Reviving partners who go down in fog is almost impossible without amazing firepower in their hands -Pack a Punch closes when you leave -Hurt zombies die when you leave the vicinity instead of respawning -Sometimes Jet Gun pieces don't spawn (most obvious when using Misty) -Fiery Zombies blow up in your face, which can get you killed -Fire pit in Power Station -EMPs suck -Points sharing shouldn't require Galvaknuckles -Tombstone has a stupid time limit, so if you respawn in another area from where you went down you can lose it
