BirdDog Dan Tranzit EE next step train station |Update|
blubswillrule replied to blackfire561's topic in TranZit
Because train stations can be achieved. Hey, what did you achieve in your life time? a train station. What? Sorry, I know I shouldn't feed him, but I find his comments funny xD -
Ouch D: That seems like a schedule that's not very enjoyable, but I'll definitely add you and hopefully we're on at some time :D
-
Sweet, will do! I'll probably play tomorrow, if not for sure a lot this weekend... currently swamped with homework as finals week is coming up though, unfortunately I'll be sure to add you!

I've been searching desperately for people to complete the easter egg on psn, you up for it? (Not now of course, but sometime in the near future haha)

You contradict yourself so much in your rambles haha it seems we have a Raul Menendez of our own on these forums No, but seriously, Dan, just prove yourself and your ramblings, just once... and then we'll believe you... it doesn't take a Treyarch developer to try and convince people in cryptic ways, anybody can do it... Especially trolls. -
No worries but just posting my thoughts on how the mechanics of the next step could work.. it's obvious the beams point out an area of interest... so it's all a matter of trying anything and everything at the other beam locations, to try and see if we can get anything to happen such as another beam... Maybe even all of this activity regarding the traffic light in town is another point of interest? (I've read somewhere that killing under it made it shoot beams, I've not really confirmed anything as my attempts at the easter egg have all failed me... playing with randoms is miserable ) Just contributing what I can to the efforts! :)

My apologies, just hopped on my laptop after I saw the mess of type my phone posted, formatting now as well as including video that I was replying to!

Alright, so I commented this on a post, but got absolutely no acknowledgement.. even though I feel it may contain some relevance EDIT: MY ORIGINAL COMMENT HAD PARAGRAPHING I SWEAR, I COPIED AND PASTED IT AND ALL FORMATTING DISAPPEARED, FIXED Video in question: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_KOLasmE44 Very interesting video, noticed lights pointed to cornfields above a crack in the ground, perhaps the crack is there as an indicator for us? (1:23) Also noticed it pointed (EVERY TIME FROM ONE OF THE 4 LEGS OF THE SPIRE) to that seemingly empty room in town (the beam that passes through the bank) Also another note: the endpoints of those beams appear to be randomized a bit (shifted up/down/left/right/forward/backward a little bit differently every time), so it's not necessarily the point where the beam ends abruptly that is a point of interest, but something in the general area of where the beam ends... In this video there were 3 areas where beams pointed off the spire to... 1. laundromat door 2. empty room behind bank (don't know if that room has a title or not) EDIT: Looks like that building is in fact an internet cafe, interesting.. 3. in cornfields above crack in ground and if I'm not mistaken, beams that shot to different locations also shot back to different legs of the spire... PERHAPS it's something like the plates of the shangri la easter egg in randomness? You start it with first one, but if you do the first one again it counts as if you messed up and restarts it, giving you another random one? Could explain the seemingly randomness maybe the ones that JUST point to the spire are duds, so you have to be lucky and not get duds? I believe it may be something like this -start at laundromat, get beams to appear (hopefully you get lucky and beams point to another area as well) -once you get beams that point to area, you have to go to that other area and somehow do something (MAYBE YOU ACTIVATE BEAMS IN DIFFERENT AREAS WITH DIFFERENT METHODS?) then it points at another area... then repeat until you have all four done in sequence? or maybe all four at the same time... but I do believe there to be a fourth area though maybe treyarch's messing with us and giving us a 3 man easter egg to leave someone to deal with the zombie EDIT: MAYBE THE MYSTERY BOX LIGHTS IS THE FOURTH AREA FOR THE FOURTH SPIRE LEG/BEAM AREA? (could reinforce the notion of different activation methods for different area...) 1: Laundromat - Aim at door handle 2: Cornfields - Do something? (Aim at crack? knife crack? get downed by crack?) 3: empty room - Get naked and dance? I have no idea more edit:(Actually it's an internet cafe) 4: Mystery box - USE IT AND GET BEAMS [/edit]

Pretty sure the US government doesn't have any laws concerning tranzit... ANYWHO let's just stop feeding the trolls Dan guy, you may be finding this funny, but please at the very least show some respect to those of us hard at work trying to figure this out, if you don't have anything to contribute other than cryptic bs messages, then please refrain from posting... I'm sure everyone else here feels the same way... -

Workbench to build Navcard Discovery Must Look missing step

Pretty interesting thoughts, we'd have to make a checklist of ALL BUILDABLE PARTS in the game and roaming around with them... would take a while, but hopefully could bring about results! (I just hope you don't require a part for pack a punch elsewhere... or a part for the turbine... that would blow) but yeah, seems plausible to me.. maybe the only reason they put the buildable location under the spire itself was to show that things can be built in hidden locations... kind've like a hint, saying think outside the no-fog-zones! -
Egg At Bus Depot Explodes - No Discussions About This?!
blubswillrule replied to RichieHF's topic in TranZit
After a certain amount of time, parts respawn in their original spot, no? Maybe that laughing noise is simply to indicate that a part has respawned to it's original location after x time of no interaction? (Could be a way to help us in case a newbie drops something important god knows where in Tranzit...) -
Bur hitting a death trigger ingame shouldn't relate to hitting a desth trigger in theater mode?
-
Yeah, I don't quite understand what you mean by... Clarification please?
-
Well from my past experience, the No Free Entities error should be just that... no free entities. as in there is no room to spawn additional entities as we have hit the max amount Some game engines have a max amount of entities on a map at once, in older games, that max was at 256ish entities in a map at any given time... A free entity would be something like... Max entities allowed is 256, we have 250 entities in the game at this moment, there are 6 free entities. or taken into a concept you are all familiar with... 20 zombies spawned, max allowed is 24, we have 4 free entities for which to use as additional zombies (Just another way of explaining it that we an all relate to ) Perhaps if you unlocked the area correctly, it would clear some entities to avoid hitting the max amount and thus running out of available entities to use? NOTE: FOR THOSE WHO ARE UNFAMILIAR, ENTITIES ARE NOT JUST ZOMBIES, ENTITIES INCLUDE EVERYTHING IN THE GAME WORLD, THE MAP ITSELF IS AN ENTITY, THE PLAYERS ARE ENTITIES, THE MYSTERY BOX, THE PERKS, INTERACT-ABLE ITEMS ARE ALL ENTITIES.. ETC Could be anything really though.. if anybody knows more then please feel free to prove me wrong forgive me if I'm just restating the obvious, still new to these forums and trying to fit in :P

What is there error exactly? Me being a game developer, I'm interested in the error as it could shed some more light into Tranzit theories.

Tranzit Expansions "Very likely" - Nav Card Bus Routes

Yeah, definitely think it's a skin pack, and for grief mode by the looks of it, there's an easily visible meat chunk being thrown in the image, same as the ones you randomly get in grief mode. and I also agree, though I feel conflicted about going through game files, it's like finding out what your Christmas present is before Christmas.. :\ Ruins the fun of the chase, says I -
Well think it through, the draw distance is terrible because the mappers of tranzit knew it'd be pointless to draw things x distance away with all the fog that SHOULD BE THERE, so why not save a little performance so the game itself can have a higher frame rate and just minimize the draw distance? Seems like a sane assumption to me.
