the lag is gettting uber bad and out of hand! i was one of the guy's that stayed up for the "revolution" release, and it was the worst multiplayer experience that ive had... ever! 2-22, 5,10, 1-17.... i was a 1.63 k/d and in the time span of 2 hours i dropped to a 1.51 k/d i can hardly bring it up a .01 on a good night.. but i can drop .11 in a night? i am by no means a shitty player, i have been playing F.P.S's since DOOM and have played online/lan F.P.S's like Counterstrike,Unreal Tournament etc. religiously since i was a kid. same goes for the COD series... the mulitiplayer is getting to a point were i barely want to play... Vondeharr needs to fix some issues as he basically lied to the community saying that lag would not be a problem in BO2.. it almost seems easier and WORSE.. the lag is minimal but still effective, as in it doesnt seem laggy but it is.. you can see the enemy lag around the corner and bam your dead.. but in actuality he turn's the corner long before you saw he did and hes got two bullets in 1st all the time.. if thats not an unfair advantage i.d.k what is.... i already told myself, if the lag doesnt get better by DLC 4.. im going over to the darkside and for a solid month im going to lagswitch till i get console banned.... you know what they say.. if you cant beat them, join them... lol.. i probably wont do that but still... i never thought it would get this bad... i have the modem/router combo... i hope this is the problem i

did you download the season pass? if you did go to, PS3 Games/Add ons/Season Pass.. should be there. if not go to, New Add Ons/Sort By Title/Black Ops 2/Revolution... im central time, im not sure about you... you'll have to figure that... i just have to say i got smashed on multiplayer badddd ... rubber bullets/lag/bad teammates.... im going to bed.. woops, i was under the impression you were a PS3 user.. but yea its been a problem for me and the people i play with, the thing we all had in common was old systems.. it might eventually kill your system playing for extended periods of time.. there was a new processor added into the slim version of the PS3, im sure the 360 slim has a new processor from the elite, no ? *new slims dont have this problem, probably due to being able to run the game more efficiently, ive now confirmed this playing multiplayer with a friend!, he would be loaded in selecting his class waiting to start while i was still loading the map! everytime!* im thinking old model systems be it PS3 or XBOX, have a hard time running blackops 2 for extended periods of time. my black ops 2 disk is in MINT condition, as it hardly leaves my console... why else would my machine play every other game perfectly... but i put in ops2 and i get problems... so im really not sure ... i need a new system already anyways, so i might buy a new one just to see the difference for myself... i dont really want to dip into the money ive put aside for PS4 :evil:

hey dude i feel your pain! which PS3 model do you have? i have a 2nd gen. and about 8/10 it wont show up at all on the dashboard,,, to be clear, it only does that if i take the game out of the machine and or shutdown/restart... on some occasions ive put in and ejected the disk for 10mins. before it recognised it... funny thing is... i put in ops1(if you saw this disk... you'd be horrified! ultra scratched!), it read and played instantly. So i tried other games to rule out the "lucky" factor, Gran Turismo,NFS Undercover, MW3 etc. ALL worked and loaded instantly. So after trying all these games and my blood pressure slowly rising, i thought id try loading ops2 one more time.. loaded instantly!! :shock: WTF! a friend of mine bought the game 3 TIMES!! but his PS3 would not load it, no matter what he did... he too could play all his other games but ops2...he ended up snaping the first disc LOL his wife then bought him another one, didn't work.. so he sold it. he then bought and downloaded it off the PS Store and hasnt had a problem since! if people wonder why i have no remorse for people being "scammed" by treyarch, this is why. try spending over $200 on one game!!! and i might shed a tear for you..... all in all, im almost postive its the PS3 thats the problem here...

i think you misinterpreted my post mocking me.... the o.p so what he wants/needs is a place to find these protips/guides. the problem is he cant find them because of people spamming the forums. most of these threads can be found by using the search option, but these "spam" posts made by new members are generally just impulse question's they need answered. which i suggested could be remedied with a post limiter... forcing them to post in area where they can post ask whatever they want without "spamming" the forums on easily answered/found questions. making it easier to find the information he needs.. and about unnoticed threads, that's just my problem! like a thread made by keradnomrah69 (i think thats how you spell it) that i had noticed until day. because it had been "spamm'd" down so far i never saw it... this problem's obviously alot more complicated than it seems, as ive seen many threads about messy forums. im sure the mods/admin's or whatever haven't found a fair resolve for this.. as it probably wouldn't be a problem then.. i

hey good find man! a couple things i thought of while reading this... when samuel buys the BE2R he'll say "hello darkness, my only friend.." not sure what he means by darkness? the bus driver also has a quote, "clear the road ahead and move up to first class" this could be synomonus with the BE2R and the sound of clearing debris when purchasing it... just speculating

having your posts/threads go unnoticed here is like starting a match of zombies and dying before getting jugg... it rarely happens, but when it does you just try again....... i dont think its the new user's faults or the old users necessarily, but a mix between the two... new users have a tendancy to make "useless" threads. but can we be mad about that?? that's what a forums for, discussion! who's to say the next's guy wrong for posting or starting a thread .... usually a response is not botherd to be given if it falls behind a certain level of stupidity. which is fine and dandy, as ive posted some real dud threads.. as im sure alot have... does that mean a person should refrain from posting or staying active for the sake of clogging the forum? no because that would be absurd... a push in the right direction and anyone can find there way... maybe what needs to happen is a new area with a postlimit of like 10, were new users can say what they want but are forced to have at least 10 posts in order to post in the main forums.. which is not unheard of.. "oekaki BBS central" is a good example of this... you can only paint in one part of the forum till your pictures are given a rating.. build your rank and you can paint with likewise users.. if you see a post that you think your confident in providing an answer or help, regardless of how stupid the question might be. do it! just remember theres no such thing as a stupid question, just stupid response's..

LOL so true! i smoke pretty well everytime i play... and if i dont and i start playing sucky, ill usually just chalk it up to not being high enough..LOL flawed logic at its finest! regardless, i do think it makes me play better... but in the same respect, everytime around Rnd.40 were all like "IS THIS EVER GOING TO END" and with those thoughts come the end of the game... almost all of the time lol so back to what El2NAL407 said.. yes i understand that, im just trying to emphasise the fact getting something early is worth paying extra. even if it is 2 weeks.. more of the glass is half full rather than half empty.. if you got the hardened edition you got scammed.. if thats how you want to see it. how i see it, unless you got the carepackage..which was what treyarch rep'd the most to get!!!! you cant be to upset about it.... like what did you guy's expect... how else would they market there season pass to people and not include ALL the maps.. whos going to buy a season pass if didnt include everything.. people would have waited till they come out to buy them.. and maybe it didn't work to hold off on the NTZ release until DLC 4 who really knows pretty much if your sad that treyarch betrayed you and lied to you and whatever else.. your wasting your time being angry

the O.P is saying he got sucked into a game that had long been started while searching in the public lobby. which before you'd only be able to join a previously started game if it was originally started under custom. i dont think that you'd be able to join if someone on your friends list started it in under public... its still pretty wierd... not sure how much i like it... instead of a return of private match, id like treyarch to make player limit option within public.

just wanted to add one more thing.. think of it like this ... what if treyarch/activision would let PS3 user's pay an extra $20.00 when buying the season pass, to be able get the map packs early alongside 360. i can say without a doubt i would, and i think alot of other people would pay for that as well but as ive said before im partial to my PS3... anyone who thinks getting something exclusive has little value, regradless of how long it is... is being ignorant..

yes i guess it was only 2 weeks for the xbox, PS3 was two months.. sorry if im wrong but this is just what i remember.. even two weeks is worth it... $20 is not alot extra to have to pay sometimes i think people forget the value of something... to get something early should be held in a higher regard.. maybe if you were on ps3 you would see that...

if i remeber right, hardened edition owner's got NTZ exclusive for two months before season pass holders. exclusivity is worth money... at least in my eyes... The jet gun being patched was overkill i.m.o.. if i was treyach, i woulda just ran with it and said that was intended to pre-charge.. i can see them wanting to fix it though, the community bitches at fixing their broken game.. so they patch something that would be a glitch to them and everyone gets mad cause it was the best glitch ever... and it was.. im with everyone on saying dont fix what aint broken.... but we got remember this is treyarch's baby.. and we got to respect that they call the shot's, all we can do is give suggestions..
