What if you add a round limit?

Introduction Howdy guys, After tons of hours invested in tranzit, it's getting boring for me and my friends. Therefore we recently started doing challenges! They're a heck of a lot of fun! We thought it would be great to have a list of challenges for whenever we get bored again, with clear rules so we all understand them. So here I am writing this post :3 I'll be listing all challenges I know of so far in this post! Note that these challenges are meant for TranZit only! List Of Challenges The Bus Challenge (submitted by KilledByPixels) This is a challenge in which you enter the bus once, and are never allowed to leave it upon entering. It's a great challenge and it's very hectic, you should have tried it atleast once! Rules: 1. You have to enter the bus at the bus depot, before it starts. 2. You are allowed to get the M14, Olympia, Wind Turbine and the bus part before entering. 3. In case you get the hatch you are allowed to get on the bus, but be careful, if you fall of, you get disqualified, and you lose the challenge! 4. No leaving the bus. 5. Be careful not to anger the driver! The On And Off Challenge (submitted by KilledByPixels) This challenge basicly revolves around the fact that turbines toggle on and off randomly. You won't be able to turn on the power, so you'll have to use turbines in order to get perks, however you might want to be careful cause turbines can get destroyed! Rules: 1. No power turned on during the whole game. 2. Only use your turbine as a power supply. 3. In MP, only one turbine per perk to prevent you from having a constant energy flow. The Wheel Of Fortune Challenge (submitted by KilledByPixels) This challenge revolves around getting random weapons from the box, and weapons from the box only. You'll have to stick to the box, and whenever you get to your last ammo mag, you need to switch out the gun for the first weapon you spin. Rules: 1. Always stay with the box, even if it moves. 2. When low on ammo, spin the box, only spin once. 3. You can only use one of the weapons in your inventory, the other needs to be empty at all times (in case of a max ammo you have to empty it again!) 4. Max Ammo's need to be picked up! That One Room Challenge (submitted by CrazyTrain0917) This is your standard room challenge, your own rules can be applied as they all differ per room. The basic goal for you is to stick to one room and survive, area's like the diner roof, the starting room, the semtex room, the PaP room/bank vault and the power room are great for this challenge! Rules: N/A, they are merely preferences with these challenges, go for what you enjoy, after all that's what challenges are for! That One Weapon Challenge (submitted by CrazyTrain0917) Simple, you aquire a weapon, and you have to keep using it. This one will get though, getting ammo will be your main problem, so take care of the ammo display so you know just when you're going to run out of ammo! Rules: 1. Try to grab your weapon of choice as early on as possible. 2. From the point that you get it and on, you should only use the aquired weapon. 3. Items like the Zombieshield or Turret do not count as weapons, and may be used. The Big Race Challenge (submitted by CrazyTrain0917) 'This isn't und marathon, this is und sprint!' - Richtofen This one is short, but fun! Rules: 1. Set your own starting point. 2. No bus or teleporters. 3. First to reach the set finish wins the challenge. The Splitz Challenge (submitted by NinjaNick) This is a verrückt styled challenge, you have to reach the goal seperated. Rules: 1. The finish line is Farm. 2. Two players have to go there by passing through Town. 3. The other two have to take the route passing by Diner. 4. You are not allowed to stay in a certain area for more than 3 rounds. 5. The bus or teleporters may not be used. 6. The winners are allowed to use Magic Items (perks, box, PaP), the losers don't. Submit Your Challenges I encourage you all to come up with some crazy ideas! If you guys submit challenges, I'll add them to the OP and notify you as the submitter! With your help, we can make this database grow to a huge size! In order to submit a post please give me a short description of the challenge and the rules, I will then add it to the OP as soon as possible Hope you enjoyed this, - KilledByPixels / Sam

Possible new playable people in the coming dlc's
KilledByPixels replied to L0LitsRobsoj's topic in Research & Development
That would make sense, on the other hand, nothing of the story has ever made sense I could see treyarch involving some denizen time travel replacing 935's technology, or infact, Marlton being the 5th 935 member (Kino painting) and him building a teleporter and saving the day :D -

Introduction Howdy guys, First off I'd like to wish you all the best in this new, zombie slaying, 2013! I have been posting stuff on CoDz for a little while now (after being a long time lurker :3), and came to the conclusion I never really had a major post contributing to the site. So here I am, hopefully contributing to all of you guys! So I wondered about what to contribute to the site, unfortunately couldn't come up with anything. I then decided to play a game of zombies to maybe just come up with something, and little did I know, after a game of survival on bus depot, It finally came up in my mind that I had never seen a decent Bus Depot survival guide on the forum! So I started searching this topic, and I was right, I couldn't find any post regarding Bus Depot survival. With that set I decided writing down this tactic, hoping that it will guide you to that record you wanted to beat by a long time and impress all of your friends! Note that this is only here to help you, it's not the only way to play, it's just the way I play it, and I am in no way telling you what to do. It's here for you to use in whatever way you like it, and if you use it in it's entirety I encourage you to adapt it to your own play-style to get the best out of it! Feel free to post a reply with tips for me as well, as in no way I know all about this map, and I am sure you have something to contribute as well! The Starting Room/The Inner Depot As soon as you start it's all very quiet and peaceful, take that opportunity to gather some points! It's safe for the first few rounds in there so don't worry! You are gonna be gathering as much points as you can by shooting 6 bullets in the lower body and then knifing the zombies, do this for the first 2 rounds, after this you want to leave the starting room by opening the door for 750 points. Leave this room before entering round 3, otherwise there will be an earthquake causing a lava flow to appear. This lava flow might not sound as an issue, but without juggernog the explosions of fire zombies in the higher rounds are [bold]extremely dangerous[/bold], causing you to slow down, take damage and get disorientated! Do not return to this room anymore from now on as it will cause the earthquake to still appear. The Outer Depot This is where it get's chaotic, it's small, there's a lot of tiny passages and dangerous corners, take care! Considering this, it's great to get an SMG/Pistol/Shotgun (you run faster = higher chance of getting out of those sticky situations), now I recommend getting the MP5 from near the garage door, however, you can try getting a pistol or SMG from the box (I don't recommend shotguns, since the Remmington and the M1216 are utter shit...). With the MP5 (or whatever weapon you chose to roll with) you should be safe for a while, however you should start to think about the higher rounds. The key factor in high rounds is a decent train route, I suggest going around the clock on this map, use the entire map to your likings in order to find the route that helps you! For me it's just lapping around the map. Another thing to help you on this map will be a Ray Gun, I usually don't like using the Ray Gun, but it's very useful on this map for clearing the path in front of you while training. Since you have nothing else to spend your money on other than MP5 ammo, why not use your points to use the box, try getting the Ray Gun when possible, it will help a lot! Be careful: the Ray Gun will create crawlers, if you don't watch out they might get you trapped! That's It I hope you enjoyed these tips, sorry if I made any grammar errors, for you see, I am dutch I'd love to hear your comments about this, and I hope to have helped the community a bit with this! Cya next time, if you have any requests for me, tell me and I'll make a post about it! - KilledByPixels / Sam

Is 'Die Rise' the real name for our new map?
KilledByPixels replied to Zaptn.'s topic in Research & Development
I just had a spark in my mind! (Sorry if someone has already linked this together..) TranZit was indeed a pun for transit, Z standing for Zombie. With a bus being our means of transportation. Maybe Die Rise is our new TranZit type game mode, Die Rise being a pun for high rise. With the helicopter that people spotted out being our means of transportation, or maybe a series of ziplines. I really don't see a helicopter fitting in with zombies. Of course "Die" replacing the "Z". No shit sherlock  -
God mode lets you take hits, you kist won't die.
-
I loved watching noobs zero gravity jump without taking care and falling in the pit xd
-
Well, they were able to use the wonderweapons, why not teleport?

Guys, I have a feeling that this map is very big, just as Green Run, however, I believe treyarch are going for something new... Again..., what if we have a huge map, not in SIZE but in HEIGHT? 1) The BOII engine uses fog in order to mask out unloaded textures in the distance, I don't see any fog in the distance here? No fog in the distant background = No textures in the background. BUT there is fog at the bottom of the map, so that means textures aswell? Thus letting me think this map is about height. 2) Die Rise, what does the verb 'to rise' mean? Exactly, we might be rising to the top of the building. 3) Remember the race gamemode found in the coding? Be the first to reach the top to win? I don't see why not? 4) PhD flopper is in the coding, would make sense on such a high map. In Green Run there was no real high spots to dive of, here there is. Same goes for the ziplines! Does this all sound possible to you? It does to me :3 - Sam

Oh dear god no. The last thing anyone wants is ANOTHER Tranzit. Actually, I would love another Tranzit ( ._.) With less fog, no denizens and no cross the map revives ,_, I hate it when noobs at diner make my earpieces explode because I didn't mind reviving them when I'm at town... Other than that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the Tranzit concept, I just hate green run (and the survival maps). Imo NTZ is the best :3
-
Okay thx Great post btw!
-
I bid you farewell my friend!
-
Too many colours Yes, this is real imo :3 And yes it's awesome imo :3 And no I have no clue what it will bring :3
-
I'd love to hear you're totally epic theories :3 so post the craziest on here I myself like to think that the zombies look quite mechanical, so what if it's the RISE of maxis' electrical army ? Prob wrong but hey xd also, doesn't it look like the leaked image with the large floating thingy above the broken buildings? (the red one)? Does anyone have a pic of that supposed old leak? (with the girl and the ufo and the broken buildings, you know xd)? Cause the floating thingy looks like the one on NTZ loading screen :3, so it might be real! Anyways, tell meh your epic thingys xd

How do you know he is STILL in the bunker? It might have been recorded audio? Perhaps he never was there, perhaps it's a database to keep all info safe, playing audiofiles from richtofen and from marlton, from worldwide bases (explains the bus sound)?
-
Ah okay, well thanks!
-
I have heard that in TranZit there is a possibility to level up guns? Now can someone explain this to me? Is it true? Thx for reading, and sorry if there already was a post on this :s
-
Well the latest hotfix was on the 21st, so it could have been added...
-
It's odd... Maybe the 12 21 12 hotfix?

Did your character say a quote?
