Biggest easter egg breakthrough this far
ImpetuousPanda replied to BordersRanger01's topic in TranZit
Come on now, get with the fucking program. This is 2 or 3 days old, just because MrDalekJD does a video on it now, doesn't mean it's new. At least investigate a little before blindly posting. -
Permanent Earnable Perks Proof and how to unlock them
ImpetuousPanda replied to blackfire561's topic in TranZit
Since this sounded quite plausible (well-written post by the way), I decided to test it out with some friends. There were three of us in the game, and I decided to pick up the MP5K on Round 1 and exclusively use it for the rest of the game (not even PaP it, just in case that counted as a different weapon). I picked up Double Tap and had the Headshot Popper (non)permanent perk, and kept them for the entire game - This acted as my baseline for damage. By Round 18 something interesting happened! On Round 17 it took me 3 bullets to the head with the MP5K + Headshot Popper + Double Tap. On Round 18 it started taking me only 1 (ONE!) headshot to kill the zombies with the MP5K. I didn't notice any orb or hear any sound (I've never noticed a sound when receiving the permanent perks, only when losing them), but I'm convinced this is the exact permanent perk the good sir above was refering to! We continued playing until Round 28 and I retained this perk the entire game. I did keep almost exclusively using the MP5K the whole time though so I don't know how long using another weapon would cause you to lose it again, although I would assume that you could not activate this perk on another gun without losing it on the current one. Some observations regarding the perk: - I started using the MP5K at round 1 and used it exclusively (apart from meleeing denizens and about 2 zombies), and I had the perk by Round 18. This might mean that you need to use a weapon exclusively for 17 rounds (matches with 17 revives for Fast Revive perk....hmmm....coincidence? I think not) - I decided to upgrade the MP5K on Round 26, and the upgraded version still had the bonus! This leads me to believe that it still counts as the same gun when upgraded. So you could probably do 17 rounds as a combo of the regular and upgraded version of the gun to receive the perk. - As an indicator that you have the perk (apart from the obvious damage boost), when you remove a limb from a zombie (or pop their heads off), it makes a more *crunchy* sound than normal. Kinda hard to explain this one, but the limb removal noise is definitely different. It's like bones are snapping more or something. - The perk only applies to the gun you were using when you gained it; I also had a HAMR but it did not have the damage bonus (and didn't make the *crunchier* limb removal noise) Finally, huge congrats to the guy above for finding this! At last, a proven 4th (non)permanent perk! P.S. I would have analysed this further, and checked for noises/orbs etc but when I try to play my recent game in Theater it gives me "You have selected an invalid film or clip". Typical.. P.P.S Ah ha! I know exactly what it is!!! I decided to load up a new game solo to check that I still had it, which I did. I then realised that body shots weren't doing extra damage (I generally go for headshots only) and it dawned on me. This perk makes you do extra LIMB damage! This explains why headshots were doing more damage, as well as arms coming off easier, as well as the extra crunchy noise whenever limbs were being removed. So there you have it chaps, an extra limb damage perk for your chosen gun. This makes me think that it might not simply be about using the same gun for a number of rounds, but instead getting a certain number of limb removals with a gun (bearing that in mind, I had about 300 headshots by round 18 if that ends up being helpful, but you'd have to account for extra limb removals from arms and stuff too of course). Thisis wild - today I did the saem thing , MP5 for about 20 rounds with dbltap. firing into a crownd torso level and got a green poof, then i noticed an improved damage, its was about round 12. I would agree with this theory, especially since it is tracked in the leaderboards just liek headshots, and revives. - Gibs ' Going to prove or disprove this right know, seems very legit. Will have video footage! -
I just checked theatre mode on a match where I did the Maxis EE for the 32423424th time, and when I teleported nothing dropped there. Might be because it was theatre mode, or because I had power on, not sure.
-
I'm not sure, it might. Seeing as how this is kind of on topic, I'd like to note I've killed him on top of the diner and had nothing happen. :)

I never heard of that radio at Farm before, care to explain? The TV in the house where the fridge is on floor, bottom level. You'll see a TV, hit square there and you'll activate voice transmissions when the power is on. If power is of, there will only be static.

Hello guys, I've been testing stuff with the Bus Driver and the bus lately. I have a few thoughts I need feedback on. 1. Does anyone know why the Bus Driver sometimes decided to not stop at some of the stops? I played solo once using the bus to activate all the teleports without power being on. Obviously I had to use the bus as transport from light to light. I was knifing him a lot for him to start up faster(you can knife and step back so he can never kick you off) and at a point in time, sparks started flying off of him, off his back, his arms, and the front. This can be easily done by staying on the bus and pissing him off a lot. it might just be there for aesthetic purposes, but who knows. 2. He does indeed drive faster at some points in time. I went in with two players last night and he was driving considerably faster at many different places, we were simply knifing him non-stop for 2 or 3 rides around the Green Run map. He tried kicking us off a total of 8 or 9 times and sparks flew out of him at several times. He skipped many stops and drove considerably faster a few times. Thoughts? Any importance here? EDIT: I did not test anything with turbines or the jet gun. Can you place turbines inside the bus(I think you can't). It might do something as well. The only variable I tested was knifing.

full easter egg after achievement guide detailed
ImpetuousPanda replied to xxxxxxlegitxxxgamer's topic in TranZit
That might be a stupider claim than what the OP is saying. You can 4 ray guns, it's been done a ton of times. -
I suggest trying these steps. 1. Build Turbine 2. Turn Power on 3. Radio at farm until he says electricity is blocking communication. 4. Turn Power off 5. Turbines at lamp posts for tri... system 6. Make teleports on all lamp posts(When I've done this, I've seen more electricity at the pylon, might just be me.) 7. 2 turbines and pylon and kill Avogadro 8. Turbines at lamp posts again, or not necessary? Might be worth a try, especially the radio thing.

Hmm, video was sketchy but that definitely wasn't normal. He was on round 1 with the M14 though, so it couldn't really have been anything he activated in game. Maybe the "weapon proficiencies" perma perk idea that was commented in another thread, but with gun kills carrying over?

Tested this, nothing happened. On to the next thing. :)

Next Step Has Most Likely Been Found!!!!!! Update
ImpetuousPanda replied to blackfire561's topic in TranZit
Also, I've made teleports on all 8 lamp posts without the electricity being on and I've noticed a lot more lightning coming out of the tower, upwards and towards the sides. Like from the tip of it all over the place, really long bolts. Might have something to do with it. No quotes though. -

ImpetuousPanda replied to blackfire561's topic in TranZit
Guys, what I'm aware turbines on different lamp posts activate the quotes, but can anyone let me know what easter egg has to be done, or doesn't have to be done? Do you have to be mid way through the easter egg? Does power have to be on? -
He should spawn eventually. When playing solo trying to go for high rounds, he spawned about 9 times from round 1 to 41, I was at farm. Lightning/Thunder means he's close to spawning. I'm 90% sure if you kill the last zombie of that round while the thunder/lightning is very intense, he will spawn. Tried this out a load of times and it's always worked.

I was not planning on stopping the device(if you can call it that) or killing the Avogadro, as I'm aware it only weakens him. What I wanted to test was if the effects(if there are any) that occur after EMPing the Avogadro inside his capsule affected the Power Station/EE at all.
-
Hello there guys, I don't want to contribute to the spamming of stupid theories to the forums, but I think this is worth a try. I was in theatre mode recently and noticed that the capsule which the Avogadro spawns otu of it not closed, it is open on the top. If you go into theatre and look into the capsule you'll see the Avogadro twitching and moving his electrical arms, as well as moving direction, whil trapped in said capsule. You can fast forward x6 and you'll see him moving around. Because it is open on the top, maybe someone can try and throw an EMP into the capsule before turning on the power, maybe activating something if it affects him at all. This is pretty big and we've overlooked the whole capsule quite a lot, so it might be worth a try.

Next Step Has Most Likely Been Found!!!!!! Update
ImpetuousPanda replied to blackfire561's topic in TranZit
Just going to go ahead and post that last night, I activated all teleports on all lamp posts while playing solo. Started off at bridge(ran from Bus Depot at the start), and then simply did the rest of them in order. When I got near the tower there was a shit ton of lightning going from the top of the towards upwards, the power was not on. I checked to see if anything had changed with the navcard reader, but no luck. I'm not sure if the lightning is normal, as you could only see it when relatively close and I never get so close to tower without the electricity on(Bus Depot-Diner-Shortcut to Town-Bank-Electricity) is the route I normally take at the start of any TranZit games. -
I believe some of these quotes are from the radio in farm, the last one 100% sure. But the "The power is online, now if only we can activate the rest of the spires...", is new, and references the other towers that are offline on the Green Run map.

I've knifed the door, both EE's complete and only Richtofen complete(playing solo), playing as Samuel, and heard nothing. I did hear the whispers though, very faintly, can't make out what they say, but I think they're only ambience.

Next Step Has Most Likely Been Found!!!!!! Update
ImpetuousPanda replied to blackfire561's topic in TranZit
There's 4 of them in Bus Depot. One of them is on the wall near quick revive. Another is on top of the doors you open with the turbine. Another is to the left of where you build the turbine, past those barricades, on the right wall. The fourth is in the room you get to when using the turbine, where the bus part sometimes is. -

Is the Pylon is the center of the clock, then Town is the 12th position as it's directly north. -
No, the easter egg can be done on a private match. It has to be set to Normal though, not easy. The easter egg can't be done on easy.
-
You've muted your TV. On a serious note, remember you have to be Samuel(Old white guy with glasses) to hear Richtofen. You should hear Maxis though, no matter what character.

Next Step Has Most Likely Been Found!!!!!! Update
ImpetuousPanda replied to blackfire561's topic in TranZit
Lol, I just posted this same theory on this thread a few hours ago. http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/forum/ ... 36&t=26240 It's been on my mind for some time now, every singe OPL's video yesterday. We just have to find out where 12,3,6,9 points are on the green run map and what teleports to activate, either by opening teleports or having turbines at the lamp posts. -
Only Time Travel Will Tell- my head just exploded
ImpetuousPanda replied to mr.dj304's topic in TranZit
Are you trying to say we'd need to use all of the TranZit map as a huge clock and the pylon as the center? If so, I believe we'd need to power up lamp posts to make it display different times. For example, 5:11 would be the lamppost between cornfield and power, which are two of the lamp posts used in this thread to supposively continue the easter egg. viewtopic.php?f=136&t=26163&start=60 The only problem is that following the "clock positioning" I'm following(12 is directly north of tower, table side, 6 is south, 3 is east, 9 is west, there are no lamp posts for 7 and 8. There are only 8 lamp posts, and not 12, so a few numbers are missing. What if we use other lights? The light in farm is the same as the lamp post lights before turning on the power, the one at the little house that you open with the turbine to get the bus part. If we use this light, 7:49 would be that one and diner. What if we did both of these at the same time? 5:11 and 7:49?
