@83457 @yoyobobguy2 Let me be of assistance. I talk to G.Q. on a fairly normal basis, I don't believe she'll mind if I post them on here. Obviously, credit goes to G.Q. for figuring out what all the Symbols mean. All I did was send her high quality images, in which she did the work in translating them.

The Infamous "Black Dot" Lamp in the "Ruby-Rabbit"
Ragdo11706 replied to Ragdo11706's topic in Shadows of Evil
All I'm saying, is when the game originally shipped, there was "NO BLACK DOT". After further patches of the game, on Current gen consoles, the Black Dot came to be. Also I've checked underneath the lamp shades, and similarly no dots exist here either. This is in the "Original" version that shipped with the game ( all patches & updates deleted, while playing offline). I'll find it and link it, as I have it saved in my bookmarks somewhere. I'm still trying to figure out what in the actual F**k this is, from the Original photos released of the map. Now there are a ton of white "Orbs" inside the R.R. on the ceiling, but it seems you can't do anything with them. -

The Infamous "Black Dot" Lamp in the "Ruby-Rabbit"

This may be in fact, TRUE. However, wait until you see the latest revelation I've come across. It may be a rather lengthy post, because I'll have to explain everything I've done in this particular game. Nonetheless, this is definitely something I've yet to see mentioned, nor have I experienced it until now. -
The only indicator I've been able to receive from the Mollys-Cream-Cakes, is the same "Samantha Laugh" you hear in previous maps when she steals a Grenade/Tactical. Only with the Devil-O-Doughnuts, I've heard the "Whaaa" indicator as well as seen the "Lightning" effect.

@83457 No the only thing I've seen is that one image. The image in particular is a "Bump" image (I believe). I think it's like the 3d image underneath of another image, making that image "Pop". If any of that makes sense. Now I've never seen it personally in-game, with that being said it's in the files so it means "Something". I believe what it means, may possibly be that in comparison to the PaP wall (the one that breaks relating to the "Gateworms"). Possibly starting out with that particular one, going clockwise. Or in another manner, completing the Rituals in order they appear on the Wall, but picking the "Gateworms" up in order of the picture. I'm not exactly sure what any of it means, if you go in the Canal District, and look at the ground you can see a texture that resembles a "Gateworm". ____ This is the "Texture" directly beneath the "RubyRabbit" sign. All of them appear near a "Cocoon" spawn location. Looks like a "Gateworm" to me. @PINNAZ Can you confirm this is what's known as a "Bump" Image. Also can you find it within the Coding yourself, to verify it exists & possibly what name it may be referred to as.

The Infamous "Black Dot" Lamp in the "Ruby-Rabbit"
Ragdo11706 replied to Ragdo11706's topic in Shadows of Evil
@Nightmare Voyager I think your reading the Thread wrong. I'm not saying any of the stuff in the OP, is how it currently appears in-game. I'm simply stating the differences between when the game originally shipped (delete all current patches & updates, play offline). Will result in build version 8.0.0.0 & the most recent version I had, being 33.0.0.0 In that particular build, I could still "PaP" the "Apothicon Servant". I'm not sure which build version you guys are on now, I would imagine somewhere in the 43.0.0.0 range. Being that I have to pack my Xbone up and drag it somewhere anytime I want to update it. I normally tend to wait until the DLC is released. This is when I'll be playing on the most recent build (at the time), until the following DLC is released, or whenever I can get internet where I currently live. Whichever one comes first is obviously going to make my decision for me. No worries though, the T-Virus hasn't got a hold of me that bad, Yet! No love lost either, haha ;-) I still thoroughly enjoy the convos we've had! P.S. ARK-7 dually noted and fixed! Thanx. -
The Infamous "Black Dot" Lamp in the "Ruby-Rabbit"
Ragdo11706 replied to Ragdo11706's topic in Shadows of Evil
Yes, this is correct. Everything I have mentioned above, is how the game was when it was shipped, not how it is now. Build version 8.0.0.0 to be exact. -
@83457@mmm chocolate Yea I kind of do the same thing, basically. I like to either complete all 4 Rituals, while not opening the Sword Chamber at all. As well as I like to get the "Apothicon Egg" fill it completely, put it back in the Altar, but not touch the Sword. This is all while not completing a single Ritual. I also like to run games where I don't touch either one until once the "Apothicon Servant" has been built. Of coarse all the games I mentioned, I like to have said objective completed, before building the "Apothicon Servant" to begin with. ____ So you want to hear something else "Weird". Remember how I mentioned, I have no longer been seeing the Devil-O lights. Well yesterday (technically the day before) I had to uninstall the game from my HD and reinstall it. This resulted in me going from build version 33.0.0.0 back to build version 8.0.0.0 Well I began playing once again on the "Original" version The game shipped with. I can no longer play The Giant until once I do an update, to load the game into the memory (which sucks). So wouldn't you know, as soon as I buy Trip-Mines the first game and begin upgrading them. Starting out in the Junction, I turn around and look up, and there it is. The big stream of "Yellow" light, just like the Mystery Box, and inside of it is 3 bolts of "Lightning". I shit you not. Furthermore, I'm not aware how it is on the most recent patch, but I know on Version 33.0.0.0 the rain had disappeared from my screen. I could no longer see it, but I could still hear "Thunder" as well as see "Lightning" in a distance. Now all of a sudden the damn rain is back, which I cannot stand by the way. Lastly, I'm going to update my post & tag you there, as I feel were the only 2 still actively searching, or possibly even cares anymore at this point. I will say I still firmly believe, it's in he game not going to be added, as I've gotten the quote that was supposedly added just recently, a handful of times now.

Well I don't know if this matters or not, being that I'm not connected to the internet (simply because it's unavailable where I live). I don't have access to either one of these Gobble Gums. With that being said in almost every game of "The Giant" I have played I've gotten the "Perk Bottle" Drop. One thing I noticed was it had to be before Round 20, I had to purchase the Teleporter, not just link it. Most of the time I had to do this multiple times per Round. I can't remember for sure, I feel as though the "FlyTrap" E.E. had to be completed, or I would only receive them before it was completed. Again, this may in fact be due to me not being connected to the servers. Although I would imagine since I don't have access to those particular Gobble Gums, I therefore wouldn't receive the "Perk Bottle" Drop. I would love to test this out for you guys, but I'm going to have to take my Xbone somewhere and do the latest update. As yesterday when I uninstalled the game from my HD, once I reinstalled it I can no longer play "The Giant".

You know, that's a good possibility. The District the Tram is in, is the same District in which the "Hum" is present. I'll have to definitely check this out. Would really make it easy to figure out which District it's in.

The Infamous "Black Dot" Lamp in the "Ruby-Rabbit"
Ragdo11706 replied to Ragdo11706's topic in Shadows of Evil
All good brotha, I just wanted to point out some of the interesting things Treyarch changed over time. I forgot one, the Margwa used to have two of the three mouths open at once. -
Honestly if you never move the box, which is fairly easy on this map, since "Purple" Pods will then give you a Ray Gun (which I prefer for the Margwa Mask & Margwa). Max Ammo should never be a problem, simply because instead of all those FireSales, they'll be Max Ammos. I'm not exactly sure how the Gobble Gums work, simply because I don't have internet, I can use any regular Gobble Gum infinitely. Is this different when your connected to the servers. I've always figured you just had to acquire the Mega G.G. as well as the Ultra-Rare G.G. and whatever else I'm missing. You could still use regular G.G. or do you have to get those out the vats as well. ____ But I agree, I often use Alchemical Antithesis and find myself camping on the Smoke Lounge. Albeit I can still PaP the "Apothicon Servant", I still rather enjoy the craziness in it all.

The Infamous "Black Dot" Lamp in the "Ruby-Rabbit"
Ragdo11706 replied to Ragdo11706's topic in Shadows of Evil
@Nightmare Voyager In all fairness, they fixed that a few days after it happened. ____ @Stop Mocking Me0 I'm on Xbox One. I believe you've misread what I'm saying. When the game was originally released this is how everything was, only later it was changed to what it is now. -
Did NOT always have this, Infamous "Black Dot". ____ So earlier today, I kept having a lot of problems as far as the frame-rate dropping. Everything looked broken, textures weren't loading correctly, when I would come out the "Rift" everything would be black for a few seconds. So I went ahead and uninstalled the game, since I was playing on Build 33.0.0.0 anyways, I figured there wouldn't be that big of a difference. Once the game finally finished installing, I decided to start up a game and compare some of the differences I could find between Build 8.0.0.0 & 33.0.0.0. As you would expect, there really weren't that many; Starting door is 750 instead of 500 6 shots & a knife on Round 1 Zombies become aggressive on Round 2 Pods don't turn "Purple" until Round 14-15 ARK-7 was changed to KN-44 Attachments for guns look slightly different Can't put a camo on the "Bowie Knife" So as you can see, there really weren't any major changes. All of the Easter Eggs & Side Quests are still present, everyone of them. The "Apothicon Servant" Audio Que still triggers, as it should. ____ However, I noticed once I got to the "Ruby-Rabbit" something looked, different. The infamous, "Black Dot" is missing from the lamp shade, but why. Why would Treyarch go through all that trouble for something so, frivolous. Now, I know more than likely, this is absolutely nothing, or its just to "Fuck with us" as Mark Lamia would say. Could this possibly be a subtle "Hint" from Treyarch, pointing toward something we may have missed. If this is already well known, I apologize. I've never seen it mentioned before & was rather intrigued by it. TL;DR The Infamous "Black Dot" on the Lamp inside the "Ruby-Rabbit" did NOT always exist. It was actually added, after the game initially came out. What, could've possibly been the reasoning behind this. ____ For anyone that cares....

I'm curious to see how many each store will actually receive, then out of the employees, how many are given to the public. I'm sure where I live won't receive many at all.
-
Very nice. Mines 60 0 downs, I quit out of boredom. I'm going to eventually run one, one of these days when I'm not trying to figure out how to acquire a damn "Cocoon".
-
@83457 Just a quick update. I've ran twice now where I've had the same results. In the two games I played, when I ran without messing with the Sword Altar at all, both occurrences resulted in the following "Upgrade_Ready" Quote. http://vocaroo.com/i/s1u6dMdWfeCO ____ Even still I'm not going to say with complete confidence, 100% the "Apothicon Egg" is directly related to the "Upgrade_Ready" Quotes we receive. I'm going to continue to run more tests, without completing a single Ritual, until once the "Apothicon Servant" has been built. I've gotta figure out the Trigger for the "Zoroth Orota" Audio Que.

Yea I agree. However last night when I I got the "Zoroth Orota" Audio Que (that they supposedly just added into the game) even though I'm playing on Version 33.0.0.0 I believe the trigger was building the "Apothicon Servant" on a Parasite Round while a Margwa had spawned in. Now in that game I had the Lor-Zarozzor. I normally never get this name, and I believe the reason being, as I've stated before is determined by the "Apothicon Egg". You see, tonight I tried to recreate this exact same game, only difference being, I built the "Apothicon Servant" at the end of a normal round and not on a Parasite Round where a Margwa had spawned in. I did everything else the exact same. I started of by not completing a single Ritual, but placing each item at the respective Altar. Then I obtained the "Apothicon Egg" and filled it completely, placed it back in the Sword Altar and did NOT pick it up. When I finally built the "Apothicon Servant" the name was, Lor-Zarozzor. However, in my opinion since there were no Margwa present while building the "Apothicon Servant" or when I activated the first Ritual. This lead to the "Zornash Na'Orujja Zornash" Audio Que. I'm going to continue doing more tests, and likewise will continue to update here.

holly_cart.devil_cart.bouncingbetty.zmb_zod_ee_cakefight_devil.lght_marker_flare.zmb_zod_ee_cakefight_angel.wpn_betty_alert.specialty_immunetriggerbetty If you look a the Coding between the red lines, this suggests that effect is normal. The weird thing about it is like I was telling you, I no longer see this anymore. I'm curious if you'll continue too see it, or after a certain amount of times completing it, you no longer see this happen.
-
I agree. This is the very reason I feel as if the "Apothicon Egg" does in fact relate directly to the "Apothicon Servant" which makes sense honestly.

No worries mate. The more people who see it, the more ideas we can generate. Hopefully something comes out of it, I'm starting to feel whenever its found will be by accident. Black Ops = III
