You dont even get to keep the perks you had when you went down. Liam cleared this up in a video he made yesterday, stating that someone had the Gobblegum at the time he went down. So basically you get a mid-game cutscene (not game ending), A calling card (looks pretty cool), & complete a dark ops challenge. I don't even think you get an achievement for this. Pretty F*****g lame if you ask me. That's why I say no way that it's finished.

Shadows of Evil: Tips, tricks and Points of Interest
Ragdo11706 replied to Black Hand Smith's topic in Shadows of Evil
Very nice thread overall. I would highly suggest this to anyone that has yet to become familiar with SoE, +1 to you sir! A few things I would suggest. If your playing solo keep restarting until you see a x2 in the drop spawn. On round 1 shoot the zombies in the leg 6x then finish them off with a knife. The most useful thing I've found in solo, is the Civil Protector. If you have him activated & go down while playing Solo he will revive you & you will keep your Quick Revive. As far as the shield parts & fuses, they both have 3 spawn locations all within a few feet from each other. The shield parts being in the area with the randomised perk machines, and the fuses being in the area immediately following. Or as you stated the area immediately from opening the gate beside the tram. Another suggestion I would add, in the Footlight District, I would use the Beast Fountain in the city. Use the grapple point above the Burlesque, then grapple to the one on the left side of the street. For me this works best. In the Canal district if you use the fountain beside the Cathulu statue. You can break that open, drop down in the Canal, shock the electric panel, break open the rift, & break the box holding the badge. You can try to get the Ruby Rabbit open but I don't think you'll have enough time. I would always build the shield here, as it's easily accessible from the rift. -
Shadows of Evil all high round strategies! Updated 1/4/16

So far all the "Big Players" have used it. So therefore I would have to say Yup it's legal. I've yet to see a 100+ game without someone using it at least once.- 34 replies

I do have to agree with Liam & DBZ about the Rituals. It gets to be rather redundant after you've done it 50x. It's one of those things that I know a lot of you guys hate as well as myself. That is being forced to do something in a map every single f*****g time we play it, just to use a basic feature since W@W. This is my biggest disappointment with SoE. The swords I completely understand. Once there upgraded are pretty amazing, if used properly. Origins had it right, with powering the generators to use the PaP. Not too hard nor time consuming. Hopefully in the maps to follow it won't be so bad. Although if they do end up releasing 2 maps per DLC, 1 New & 1 classic. I'll definitely understand why. Especially if every new map is going to follow the trend of MoTD & SoE.

I wouldn't say there's nothing left on solo. For the fact that they've had 3 years to make this map. Then they give us an Easter Egg that consists of two steps. Activating the Keepers & capturing the Shadow Man. Now before you bash me let me explain. So every time we play SoE, were going to open PaP correct. Then there's the swords. As dope as they are every game your going to want those as well, even if you don't upgrade it. Which why wouldn't you. Now to the Easter Egg. So to activate the Keepers, we have to activate the book in Neros lair. So the book begins to float, well once all 4 Keepers have been summoned the book is still there floating. Hell even when you've captured the Shadow Man & averted the Apocalypse. The book is still there. What I'm asking is what the hell is the book still there for. Not to mention the Margwa Masks (which I don't believe is cosmetic). Now the Doughnut Mines (Thanx @Liamftwinter) & Gold Civil Protector (Thanx Milo aka Mrroflwaffles). Even if those things are just cosmetic changes. The book definitely is NOT.

Shadows of Evil all high round strategies! Updated 1/4/16

Nice! I was going to add a few of the 50+ strats but I believe you covered most of it. Did you include the strat inside the Ruby Rabbit. That's another fast efficient strat to run. I would also suggest the Burlesque Dancers area. This is another spot that will take advantage of the spawn control. Also another area with plenty of room to move around. Only one exit thou. I would credit the people's videos you used unless you made your own. Just a suggestion.- 34 replies

Ohh haha gotcha. Thanx for making that easier for me to understand. Yea that's pretty stupid on Treyarchs part. They should know by now it's a footrace to see who can be the "Worlds First" to complete their Main Quest. Things like this & the amount of data leaked from the Beta, makes it seem as if they do it on purpose.

Forgive me, I'm not entirely sure how the coding works. How did this give away what was needed to complete that step. As for the point about all the wasted space, I know exactly what you mean. There is a rather peculiar green light inside the Boxing Gym. If a Lil' Arnie is thrown in this spot, the first time the jar doesn't shatter. Instead it just floats straight up in the air, any thrown after that shatters like normal. I did try to find other spots where this occurred but being in the early 40s wasn't the best thing to do. Again I'm going to mention it, but WTF is up with the Book in Neros Lair. That's still there once the Quest is completed?!?! The new perk Widows Wine wasn't used for anything. The Civil Protector has no use other than helping you & Reviving you. We still haven't figured out the proper way to Upgrade the Mar-Astagua. Finally the Margwa Mascot Heads you can get are just there for aesthetic/cosmetic purposes. One final thing I'd like to mention has to do with something in the Footlight District. If you go up on the balcony to where you jump across to knock down the toupee, and look towards the Tram there's this clear globe that just seems really really out of place. I'll try & get a screenshot of it in a bit.

Yea, it still doesn't explain why we have 4 grapple points for the beast in the PaP area. Whatever happens to the book in Neros Lair you activate. It's still there afterwards. I really don't feel like the Margwa Heads are just an aesthetic change to the character.

I really don't think that's the end of the Side Quest or all there is to do in this map. What's the deal with the Margwa Masks (not there for the hell of It). How about the floating book in Neros lair. It doesn't go away once all the Keepers have been summoned. Widows Wine wasn't required (go figure). The Lil Arnies weren't used (I find that rather odd). We now have a proper Double PaP system. Changes between like 6 or 7 different kinds of ammo, that's not used (highly unlikely). I really feel like there is a lot left for us to uncover in this map. At least I hope. I think Treyarch have done an amazing job this time.

I don't believe the easter egg is done yet...
Ragdo11706 replied to Stop Mocking Me0's topic in The Giant
I'm just curious for anyone who has both the maps. Once you've gotten that little scene in SoE, if when you start up The Giant does it show up in his inventory. -
I also said that I wanted this to be a thing a while back. To answer your question... No. They have clearly established the timeline of the map to be in the 1940s (probably 1945, can't remember the Fluffy radio dates) but basically what I think is going to be the story is that the "Giant" Project Maxis talks about was this, Cornelius Pernell makes a radio telling Peter to find Maxis and Richtofen saying the Giant must be contained at all costs, meaning this thing thats being built ends up getting finished and escapes Der Riese. Maybe it goes to the past or something and four appear? I don't even know after that but what I do know is that the Giants being in Origins were never really explained, aside from a throwaway line like the Velocity Compensators so I hope this Giant is explained. Yea, you & me both. I was thinking the same thing. We are there to stop the construction of "The Giant". Which in a way would make sense.
-
So new promotional art for "The Giant" has released & in the background you can clearly see one of "Origins" Giants being built. I called this quite a few months back, only I thought it was going to be where the mainframe is. However it's behind the wall which has yet to be completed. My question is what's your guys/gals thoughts on this. Does "The Giant" take place before "Origins". Image credit goes to Milo.
-
I believe that's something you can only access while in the Monster form (Magic Spell from purple fountain.) Possibly. I've got quite a few images myself from when I was looking into there being an AfterLife 2.0. Which I still feel strongly about. As for the red rings (Blood Sacrifices.) I imagine they'll work much like the Cerberus Heads in MotD. That's how well unlock the Swords.

So do we use the normal donation box or is there a specific one (in on mobile btw).

So it's been a few days now, but MrRoflWaffles made a video about one of the Specialist Abilities appearing in Zombies. More specifically the Specialist Reaper. The Ability Psychosis. What this does, is makes clones of the character. So you become invincible. I'll provide the video down below (Amazing find btw Milo). My question is what are you guys/gals thoughts on this. For one I think its pretty cool. Something new not to OP. My only hope/concern is when we initially purchase a Gumball. Hopefully it'll be stored in our inventory as opposed to just being activated right then.

Black Ops III Beta - Your Reviews / Newsletter
Ragdo11706 replied to Hells Warrrior's topic in BOIII News & Announcements
Damn. These 500GB systems we all just bought aren't gonna last very long with the size of all these updates & DLCs. I understand that there's a lot more detail in every Mao/mode. Just seems they should've made a 1TB system to begin with. -
Make The giant a different map than Der riese
Ragdo11706 replied to TimelordAlex's topic in The Giant
From what I've heard it's not a Remake. Instead it's a remaster. The layout of the map will feel the same but aesthetically it'll look different. Think of Firing Range & Studio on Black Ops II. Or NukeTown & NukeTown 2025. Even thou they look different aesthetically. They still feel the same because of the layout. As for something carrying over, Perks, & Weapons. I don't really care as long as the experience is enjoyable. At the end of the day that's all that really matters. When I'm playing I'm having fun, once that stops/goes away well I guess so will my interest. Hopefully no time soon. -
Are any of you buying BO3 for last gen?
Ragdo11706 replied to ViolentVoltage's topic in General Discussion
The only thing I like about Advanced Warfare on last gen, is the fact it's a whole lot easier. There's nowhere near the amount of EMZs per hoard. If the XBone & PS4 were like that Exo-Zombies would be a lot more enjoyable. With that being said, I'm glad I upgraded to current gen. I just wish now I would've gotten a PS4 instead of the XBone. Black Ops III for last gen will just be a complete waste of time & money. -
Could it be the Shadow Man possibly.

Specialist compared to TF2 characters.

I was thinking Team Fortress 2 in my head. But honestly I had no idea why or where it came from. Thanx for clarifying that for, & for not busting my balls. -
