Thank you for posting this! I was wondering what the update would do. Well, its official. That one building is called the Stables.

Is the seasons pass worth it?
Naitrax replied to Your Dearest Sailor's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I don't see why someone would only want certain map packs. I mean I understand the financial POV but still. Paying those extra few dollars to save you money in the long run isn't a bad idea. Plus, all the Zombies maps are great! There is nothing I regret about purchasing the Season Pass (not a single thing, even though I am a mainly Zombies person) Just get it. You'll save yourself the trouble and also feel better for having the option to play any map you want without hopping off to a friend. -
Origins - The Outpost Link As we all know, the Germans were obsessed with gaining the upper hand in both World Wars. They did many things to try and accomplish that. In the Zombies reality we are familiar with, the Germans succeeded in accomplishing that in WWII with Group 935's discovery of Element 115. But, in our Origins timeline (which is confirmed to be an ALTERNATE version here), the Germans discovered the Element much earlier: In the midst of World War 1. The Germans had discovered the Element a fair time earlier than in the Current Reality. They seem to have a decent knowledge of what the substance is and seem to know of its immense energy. The Germans deploy troops into the northernmost reaches of France, where they believe a large deposit of 115 is located under an ancient monolith. Troops are assigned into the area and begin to set up trenches which will aid them in the event an attack is launched upon the outpost. While excavating the trenches, they discover hollow ground around the monolith. They dig through it and discover the ruins of an ancient temple. This temple is full of deposits of the Element. The Germans believe they have found enough 115 to manufacture weapons of the highest grade to win the war. After setting up pump stations to continue to pump out the Element, they delve deeper into the temple, and begin to belt away at the ancient walls. However, behind one of the walls is an ancient evil, which has been waiting to be released for centuries. Rotting corpses attack the soldiers, and the last thing they see is a pair of purple eyes as the Zombies ravish the troops. The corpses escape the temple and overrun the outpost. The soldiers reanimate as yellow-eyed Zombies, and are doomed to seek out flesh and blood for the rest of their eternal damnation. But what were the Germans creating at this outpost? As we can see, the Germans have begun to assemble a ring. What is this? Why are the ancient pillars glowing? One man continues his research at the outpost, keeping the pumps active, injecting the Element into the ancient temple. The power levels in the structure continue to rise... With no use for the Outpost, the Zombies just chill. But, the Americans, the Japanese and the Russians send agents into the storm to discover just what was happening to the outpost. They encounter the Zombies and eventually, each other. They meet the German scientist in a quiet reunion. But just as they begin to approach the man, the power level in the structure becomes full. The monolith is activated, fully awakening the ancient evil buried inside the temple. ~~~~~~~~~ So how was that?

No matter what that site says, those lyrics are not right. Even if you go through and listen to it, it says got, not have. There are other mistakes in there that I know are incorrect. "Aiming the weak" is one such example.

That would be cool, however they all have different styles of singing so it may not turn out as well as you think it would... Also, in regards to my thread: Do you think that maybe "Marrow of meat" is "Man ought'a meet" ? Tell me what you think.

Thanks man! It was something I wanted to do BAD. Why tank you again! I have many of these, made for many different things.

Hi guys! Here are the official lyrics to Shepherd of Fire, the new Avenged Sevenfold song found on their new album, Hail to the King, which features in the cinematic intro to the zombies map, Origins. Here is the intro (can be found on COD TV): Let's take a moment and break the ice, So my intentions are known. See, I have pity in watching you suffer I know the feeling of being damned alone... I got a storybook of my own... Don't you see... I am your pride, Agent of wealth, Bearer of needs... And you know it's right... I am your war, Arming the strong, Aiding the weak... Know me by name, Shepherd of Fire... Well I can promise you paradise, No need to serve on your knees. And when you're lost in the darkest of hours, Take a moment and tell me who you see... Won't tell you who not to be... Now you know... I am your pride, Agent of wealth, Bearer of needs... And you know it's right... I am your war, Arming the strong, Aiding the weak... Know me by name, Shepherd of Fire... Note: This following bit in italic is not confirmed, however is assumed to be correct on the verdict of many. Disciple of the cross, And champion in suffering, Immerse yourself into the Kingdom of Redemption. Pardon your mind, from the chains of the divine, Make way, the Shepherd of Fire! Through the ages of time, I've been known for my hate. But I'm a dealer of simple choices, For me it's never too late! I am your pride! Agent of wealth! Bearer of needs! And you know it's right... I am your war! Arming the strong, Aiding the weak! I am your wrath! I am your guilt! I am your lust! And you know it's right... I am your law! I am your scar! I am your trust! Know me by name! Shepherd of Fire! These are the official lyrics to the song, found in the Digital Booklet of the Deluxe Version of the album. Thank you for reading.

I remember how hard my friend and his brother tried to convince me that you could get on the ladder... And I had this friend who claimed he had solved the Buried EE (on day 2) but they had to go. He said all the characters hang themselves in the Courthouse and then Richtofen takes over and calls in the O4... This dude gave me so much shit that it could fill a mansion (maybe the one belonging to "Lucy Lane" on Buried [if you couldnt tell how much bs that was...])
-
I don't know if anyone would want to use this for anything (you have my permission to as long as you credit me) but I made this little poster/advertisement for the song. I could resize if needed. Link And yes! Great job mate!
-
Am I the only one who noticed something Richtofen is maybe hinting at? "Ah, the Wisp is such a tricky little sausage. I think he may have chosen to return to his point of ORIGIN That's just a fancy way for me to say: 'START AGAIN'" Origins may be the result of our meddling with the towers. The O4 are STARTING AGAIN.

The Bus Driver is built into the Bus, right? Yes. The Bus was manufactured around 1960 (as stated by the numberplate). This would mean that the Bus Driver could not be a prototype to the Metal Men.

Boom. I win! Jks jks. Dark jolteon gave me the idea, i just explored it further. It very would could mean that. However, it is probably more likely that they will communite with some other fountaingoers (if you see what im getting at here)

Would you want Vulture Aid added to all maps?
Naitrax replied to Rissole25's topic in General Zombies Discussion
In all the maps bar TranZit and Buried, there is akready an actual model for PhD there, s this wouldnt be hard to implement... -
I reckon it should've been yellow for Call of the Dead. Too blue for me haha. I wish it was freaking pure black so we could see the damn thing lol

Hello friends! I am here to share one of the theoris I have about the changing electrical pulsing lights poking up from the roofs of some f the buildings shown in the Map Pack Preview. Now, I am very new to mobile devices so I cannot insert the images into this thread but just imagine that they are there. At various points wthin the trailer, we see little weathervein like thgs on roofs. Now, some of them are activated th Rought the trailer. I believe this to be similar to the Lighthouse function from CotD. These veins show thencurrent location of the Pack-A-Punch within the map. Thanks for reading and please leave your feedback!

Correct. It was yellow for one single map.
-
We don't know for certain that it is the Balista. I am only adding the confirmed things to the OP

Orval Abbey - The Ancient Monastery Wikipedia Orval Abbey is a Cistercian monastery founded in 1132 in the Gaume region of Belgium and is located in Villers-devant-Orval, part of Florenville in the province of Luxembourg. The site has been occupied since the Merovingian period, and there is evidence that there was already a chapel here in the 10th century. In 1070, a group of Benedictine monks from Calabria settled here, at the invitation of Arnould, Count of Chiny, and began construction of a church and a monastery, but after some forty years, possibly because of the death of Count Arnould, they moved away again. They were replaced by a community of Canons Regular, who completed the construction work: the abbey church was consecrated on 30 September 1124. In 1132, a group of Cistercian monks from Trois-Fontaines Abbey in Champagne arrived, and the two groups formed a single community within the Cistercian Order, under the first abbot, Constantin. Around 1252, the monastery was destroyed by a fire; the rebuilding took around 100 years. In the literary field the monks of Orval did not much distinguish themselves. The only noteworthy writer was Aegidius or Gilles d'Orval, who lived in the first half of the thirteenth century. He wrote the continuation, to the year 1251, of the "Gesta Pontificum Leodiensium", which had been written up to the year 1048 by Heriger of Lobbes and Anselm of Liège (Mon. Germ. Script., XXV, 1-129). During the 15th and 16th centuries, the various wars between France and various neighbouring regions (Burgundy, Spain) had an important impact on Orval. At one stage a foundry was established on the site. In 1637, during the Thirty Years' War, the abbey was pillaged and burnt by French mercenaries. In the 17th century, the abbey converted to the Trappist branch of the Cistercian order, but reverted back to the Rule of the main order in around 1785. In 1793, during the French Revolution, the abbey was completely burnt down by French forces, in retaliation for the hospitality it had provided to Austrian troops, and the community dispersed. Relationship to Zombies What relationship does Orval Abbey have to Origins? Well, for starters it fits the location Treyarch have given us for the map (France). Origins takes place in a WW1 era French-Belgium battlefield? That seems right? Next, here is an image I took from the poster: This beam of light is emanating from something circle-shaped. I believe this to be the Mathilde Fountain, located within the centre of the monastery: If, say this water was used in a ritual to summon something... paranormal (as Treyarch stated), it could possibly open a portal to another dimension. History of the Mathilde Fountain - The Orval Legend There is a legend of the abbey's foundation, purporting to explain the name '"Orval" and the coat of arms. According to this, the widowed Mathilda of Tuscany was visiting the site, when she lost her wedding ring in a spring, to her great distress. When she prayed for the return of the ring, a trout appeared on the surface of the water with the ring in its mouth. She exclaimed "Truly this place is a Val d'Or (Golden Valley)", from which the name "Orval" is derived, and in gratitude made available the funds for the foundation of the monastery here. The abbey arms show the trout and ring. Thank you for reading this. Please leave your feedback with justified reasons (nothing leaked)!

This is a glitch members who had a ranking higher than White before becoming UOTM are suffering. Contact an Admin/Mod and they should be able to fix that. Hope this helped!

Darkjolteon pointed out to me that it is most likely the ruins of Orval Abbey, an ancient monastry located on the France-Belgium border. Here is some info on the place: The site has been occupied since the Merovingian period, and there is evidence that there was already a chapel here in the 10th century. My "Carrion" and "Nightmare" Theories have just been disproved within the new map pack preview for Apocalypse: In that, they say that this is confirmed to be when we meet them for the first time. Anyone who said that before this kinda read between the lines but still. It was all theory.
