Some people live that selfish desire as in someone (maxis, rictofen or samantha wanting a selfish desire ( Power, control etc.))
Caught in the flame, of those deep in fire could that mean something is in the lava?
Seeking out those with a voice (maxis or richtofen giving you commands)
One for tomorrow Maybe you CAN make it a new day, from day to night and so on.
Second stanza
They say we’ve lost our minds, we’ve just gained control (perhaps richtofen gaining control of the zombies)
Search endlessly, fight till we’re free (help the old crew become free?)
Fly past the edge of the sea (Can there be a lake or something that leads to a clue?)
Third Stanza

High like the stars in the sky Maybe the old gang are still in space?
