Can you get a thermal DSR? I know you can't with the barrett. I think we're forgetting there are TWO sides to the EE; If you get the SVU, Maxis speaks and if you get the DSR/Barrett, Richtofen speaks. So maybe the SVU Is the Maxis weapon? Just a thought. Not that it matters but isn't the SVU & DSR German in origin? I may need to re-watch some XboxAhoy. I think the Barrett's american but i'm no expert. Again, off topic just would be coincidental.. It could have been the XPR/Ballista..

I think we can all agree a sniper is necessary for the EE but I don't think the PaPd name will guarantee that. I don't think a name change has ever affected us, just the fact we had to Upgrade (Like the Baby Gun in SR-La, Wave Gun in Moon) but nice suggestion! And most often the hints will be given in the Radios, quotes or even map textures, not weapon names.

What I learned: CDC HQ in Georgia destroyed Radiation in air. Paranoia. Some girl in distressed. Some weird guy taking about flesh and "He" has abandoned them. God? Records in *Unknown* facility destroyed. Possibly purposely. Maybe more survivors. With Food. Now I don't like the fact it's a bit too obvious. Stu's conspiracies and all that. I think it's either one of three things: a) An affect, just for eeriness factor. Like Sam said, Audio please? A small hint. In Ascension, CoTD and SR-La loading screens, the top right pages were ripped out, giving a slight hint at the next map. The Nuketown loading screen shows the nuke impacting, giving us a timeline stamp, maybe this sound is hinting at a map with gates (vague, but all I can think of now) c) So it sounds like gates opening/closing? Maybe symbolizing the Gates Of Hell are open and Lucifer himself is upon the world. I think this might be over the top but it's CoDz, I've seen worse barbaric theories.. Yeah, maybe I've over thought..

It couldn't be the first step. Maxis says "no use for it now" or whatever, so there's uses BEFORE it. Kinda like how if the Green Run steps were done incorrectly he would say "NEIN, Not Now!"
