What's Your Best Zombie Setup?
CovetousShark6 replied to Greer's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Mustang & Sally Any point-weapon (preferably Ray Gun in higher rounds) Semtex or regular grenades (barely use any of these anyway) Monkey Bombs (although I don't care much for them; rather have these then EMP grenades) Juggernog Quick Revive Speed Reload Double Tap or Stamin-up (usually the former) Btw, this is for Survival on Town. -
Anyone miss the good ol' days?
CovetousShark6 replied to Bronsauce66's topic in General Zombies Discussion
To me, the gameplay is much more refined in BO2 than in WaW. Also, WaW = Hardest because of semi-clunky gameplay and more double-hits Black Ops = medium because of smoother controls and less double hits; traps and other mechanics + perks BO2= Easy zombie hit slower so you can run past them with ease. -
Mmx, everytime I see the Alternate Timeliness picture of yours, I always wonder what the rest of it looks like as it seems like it is cut off. Could you upload all of it?

I am thinking about going on a highround game on Town tomorrow and am trying to top the leaderboards (I know the actual world records for the maps are probably much higher). I know the kills cap at 9999 kills; does it reset after this? In what way does it reset. Also, to get the maximum rounds should I try and get the least amount of kills each round, so I can get 9999 kills on the highest round possible. Im sorry for bad grammar but am writing this quick.

Black Ops 2 DLC 2 Ideas?/Season Pass
CovetousShark6 replied to MrShortKhop793's topic in Research & Development
The bonus is getting Nuketown Zombies a lot earlier. -
Zombies (standalone) - Thoughts + Ideas

Oh okay, I misunderstood. That fading idea is good and maybe they could have dates by the map names to make the timeshift more apparent. -

Thanks. It looks a lot nicer that way. I just noticed though, we'd would be playing these maps across different time periods, which wouldn't make sense according to the Earth's appearance. Btw, I am a fan of your Zombies Trilogy thread and of your zombies work overall. We all have our opinions, bro. No need to blow mine down. -------- I might put the Grief teams you said up because I can't think of more anyways, but I still think Nazis versus Soviets is better than Americans versus Soviets. Or at least Americans versus Nazis. IDK. -
Would you guys think that the zombies could crouch, jump and whatnot. I think you could if you were using BRAAAINNS..... in previous games but I think they probably modified it because it might look a bit silly. Also... Dive-to-prone as zombie, anyone?

That would be awesome if you could categorize the DS maps. I like your Grief Teams as a lot; I think I will add them EDIT: I think it would be better if it were Nazis versus Soviets for NDU. I only added some because I think it would be better if we played exclusively as factions in Grief, not actual characters. Good stuff though. -

Thanks. BTW, I formatted it a bit differently and changed all of the maps (except Bus Depot) to have Grief. I figured most of the players would be in a specific part of the map such as the Mystery Box, instead of being spread across the map. -

Hopefully they do implement at least a map editor in a game. Btw MMX, do you care if I edit my original post with your map list (format and all)? -
I do like your ideas and do agree with some of them, except for the Green Run and Die Rise. Green Run looks more to be between the 1980s and 1991 (other people could explain this a lot better than me, for which I will put a link for it) and Die Rise looks like it could easily take place in the 80s/90s too. The building there are in no way futuristic or big for that time period. Normal stuff here. viewtopic.php?f=100&t=11967

i Like what both MMX and vDGv said. I think a Zombies map editor would look something like this. - Level design (won't get into this one because it is seen in many games already) - You can choose the Zombie types you want in it and under which circumstances they would appear (such as having dogs appear along with zombies or having only Astro-Zombies throughout the entire game, among many other options). - You would be limited to it being a survival/grief/turned map only with no TranZit unless it could easily be worked into building the map (like maybe choosing routes, buildables and whatnot) -Include many diff game mechanics such as electric traps and stuff from other games, along with new ones maybe. -Other stuffs -
I was thinking about this, with QR being useless when by yourself and also gives you a disadvantage because you cannot die once or the other team could win. Perhaps if you bought QR when solo, you would have the ability to revive yourself (giving yourself for a potential four lives - equal to the amount of enemies. Once you buy your third one you cannot buy it again (although it stays there for the other team). If both teams die your QR counter resets and you can buy three more.

I think one could be in Die Rise, with it be on outside on the top of the building. I think the maps in this game will focus on getting these radio towers back online, maybe getting our O4 back to Earth.

I do realize that it is hard to think about just 3 missiles destroying the entire Earth, but this is what Moon originally had us(or at least me) believe. I may have just been expecting more damage, which makes be a bit dissapointed. I am still liking BO2 a lot (and the level of destruction of the Earth doesn't really effect me; I just wanted to note that I thought it would be more destroyed). Also, the Earth would be more easily destroyed if the Hollow Earth theory was true for Zombies. With no inner integrity, the Earth could collapsed upon itself a lot easier than with solid... umm..."innards".

Hey guys, I have been thinking more and more what they will do with zombies after this or the next game. Either a)they will continue their way of having Zombies in the game b)they will create a standalone zombie game that exists outside the standard 3arc/IW cycle or they will have a completely new way of giving us our zombies. I personally would like b and I have thought out some ideas. Xbox Live / PlayStation Network / Steam Public Match Solo Custom Games Custom Maps Dead Ops Arcade Options System Link Local Options Store (Xbox) The maps are as follows (thanks goes to MMX for making this list): Berlin Germany Nacht der Untoten Survival Grief (Soviets v. Nazis) Turned Verrückt Survival Grief (Americans v. Nazis) Turned Der Riese Survival Grief Turned Kino der Toten Survival Grief Turned Rising Sun Japan Shi No Numa Survival Grief Turned District of Columbia U.S.A. "Five" Survival Grief Turned House Survival Grief Turned Facility Survival Grief Turned Baikonur Soviet Union Ascension Survival Grief Turned Siberia Soviet Union Call of the Dead Survival Grief Turned Overlook Survival Grief Turned Paradise Himalayas Shangri-La Survival Grief Turned Nevada U.S.A. No Man's Land Survival Grief Turned Nuketown Survival Grief (CIA v. CDC) Turned Green Run Northern Hemisphere Bus Depot TranZit Survival Turned Farm Survival Grief (CIA v. CDC) Turned Town Survival Grief (CIA v. CDC) Turned Tropics Africa Temple Survival Grief Turned I went back on my choice of not having Grief on every map because I thought that despite the sheer size of some maps, most of the players would be at a specific place in the map (such as the Mystery Box). Custom Matches Round (1-100) Magic (On/Off) Headshots Only (On/Off) Hellhounds (On/Off) Point (0-50000) Many others to choose from and to which you can save (like what you can do on Multiplayer) Custom Maps + Map Editor Simplified for the average gamer but still has it's intricacies. You build the map from the bottom up, and can add the zombie types and under which circumstances they would appear; some examples below- Dogs appear along with Zombies (starting at a round you set) Only a certain type of zombie, including boss zombies, for which you can have more than one at a time (such as many George Romeros, Pentagon Thiefs, etc.) No zombies at all Alternating zombies between rounds (only dogs and Napalm Zombies the first round, Astro-Zombies and a Pentagon Thief the next) Much more

I like to think that Moon takes place in the 60's and if that was so, Green Run would have to be in the 80's (because Maxis said he was searching for survivors for "decades" which would have to be at least 20 years). I'm not sure about you guys, but buildings don't look at futuristic at all. I'm pretty sure that this also takes place in the 80's. But all in all, did you guys expect a more damaged environment in these maps (Green Run, Die Rise, Nuketown) after getting hit by three super-powerful missiles. After all, we thought the Earth was actually destroyed after that. Also, if you point to the elevators in being futuristic, if you look those are the developers screens. Another view of the same shaft shows it darker and normal, with more texture on the walls.

I believe in the alternate timeline theory, and despite what that dude said, it would work. The QED was created before Moon and Die Rise takes place after. No time travel took place between these maps, but if it did, it would of had been before Moon and somehow prevent QEDs from being made for your idea to not work. I like your idea a lot. I kinds hope the Green Run EE continues, but I pretty much feel like it is done already.

Although I respect your opinion, I just don't understand why people don't like alternate modes to play around with. Its not like you have to play it. It gives the Zombies a lot more variety too. But I like your idea.
-
Its definitely best for this mode to not have any other guns/perks/PaP besides the Olympia and maybe the M14. The human would mostly always win had this not been the case. Also, I really hope both Diner and Power Station are open for survival/Grief too. I'm pretty sure this mode will be 1v3.

Although I think Marlton wasn't there due to just three players playing, I think it would be interesting to see him as a zombie boss or something. I also don't like it that much because I want the N4 to stay together and grow as a team, with everyone eventually gaining a mutual respect for one another. I'd like to see him go behind there backs with some project or something (CIA related?) but eventually be accepted again within the team. I'd like to see him a CIA suit too. I don't think it's confirmed that he is CIA yet though. And I like your Post!

*Proof* w/pics Why We Have 2 Wait For EE 2 Continue
CovetousShark6 replied to XxBlOoDfAllsxX's topic in TranZit
1 and 2 are meaningless for the reason that It could mean we just havent found it yet. Those beams cannot only be found on Teh Ecksbocks. I also believe it is a multi-map easter egg, but even mthough I agree with you, this proof isn't really E-Nuff.
