Kino der toten is an abandoned theater in Berlin. During the Nazi occupation, and the Nazi party's cooperation with Group 935, it was a location used possibly for research into the wunderwaffe project (which included the ray gun and thunder gun ) the zombie project, and the MDT, and is confirmed to be a place where maxis and the rest of Group 935 were to show their findings to Adolph Hitler. The most likely reason its abandoned is for three reasons: A). The zombies may have overrun the place after a while, . The building appears to be in bad shape, and may have been condemned, and finally, C). The game takes place in the 1960's, when Germany banned all things related to the Nazi party and (in the games timeline) Group 935.
