  1. Half Weekly update for those Orb Hunter's out there. Few addition's have been made into the Team resource section as well as more video's added. I have been playing with the split-screen strategy for some time now trying to recreate orb's. For over a week now I've played countless game's without even getting a box orb and was beginning to worry about this new process. My counter-theory for this being efficient was that even though your bank and fridge carry over to your guest, the EE progress may not. This was made even more worrisome by the fact that if you hover over a splitscreen's name in a lobby, the true rank of a 1 boner appears. This rank can be increased but always resets when you exit. However, I am happy to report after a very long tranzit run and 200,000k spent on the box I was finally able to recreate a box orb through my split-screen guest who was spectating my screen. With the addition of myself viewing a streetlight orb through spectating a friend and now the guest spectating my screen seeing a box orb, I am confident that a guest can see a "Red Morse Code" streetlight Orb as well. Edit: Just to add as a possible quirk. In this one particular game I spent 100k hitting the box, messed around with power etc for a lengthy bit of time, then spent another 100k hitting the box. It wasn't until I emptied my guest bank out to fill mine full then was going to use the remainder to hit the box but got the orb on the first hit, also another one on the 3rd hit. Just seems to coincidental that multiple people remark filling there banks then seeing orbs for me to not say something.

Sorry if I seemed harsh, I've read your post's and have gotten to know you better (enjoy your age question thread) and would've reacted differently had I done so like I did with speedo. I keep pondering the 2nd bus route thing. They do give a lot of evidence and also multiple quotes which could lead one to believing there is a 2nd bus. Yhis is probably the only reason we are still arguing and debating this. I came to the conclusion though that I do not believe in the 2nd bus for a couple of reasons. 1. I like to think the bus is unique, a lone survivor that has made it through the test of an apocalypse (although his skin and uniform may not have fared as well) 2. Bus B or A while although enticing is more to me just a map that any bus depot would have. Bus depot's would not exist for one bus, having visualization of it being a bus depot would mean more then one route and even two is kinda ridiculous. 3. I believe that the buses would be per-programmed to advertise there other routes/lines for a business aspect so of course quote's would exist even if he's been compromised from his original programming. 4. Nuketown, even if this bus is a 2nd bus (nuketown bus broke down, why there at the bus depot for a new one), the thought of a fleet of buses still running seems unlikely unless these are specialized products made to withstand nukes, lava, and debri. All other forms of transportation that we know of are destroyed/not working. Even if it's not the case and there may be a way to unlock this I think it will be a long time or a surprise stumble for someone. There's still so much to learn about our first bus. Why and what causes the bus to speed up? What, if any, actions can be taken while he is red and/or sparking? What does a turbine do to it truly while running?
  3. I think it's important to note that looking at the original tweet is the best way to actually look at this. I see more things that are different with his text. Upside down g could have other meaning's as well. It could not be a "g" at all but from a different language. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C6%82 Ƃ (minuscule: ƃ) is a letter of the Latin alphabet. It is similar to the Cyrillic Б б in appearance. A very similar glyph has also sometimes been used for the uppercase form of Ɓ ɓ. The Cyrillic letter Be is romanized using the Latin letter B. Also, after the ɔnɥıɟɥ for the first word is the sspU1 a different gray then the rest of the word? Why is there a 1 item at the end then a space and another 1 for the first word. Just voicing my thought's at the moment. Edit: Couple of other letter difference's. Your going to have to refer to the tweet to see what I'm talking about as the copy/paste doesn't show it right. Alright this is pretty lengthy and hard to describe as a non-english major. First I'm going to go over the different U's and N's. 1st word on the tweet, 2nd letter on it is a right side up lower case n. If you look at it's font you will notice how each leg of the "N" has definitive "feet". Now move onto the 2nd and 3rd word. 9th letter in on the 2nd word we see what could be an upside down N, but the problem with this is how it's fonted, if you see instead of "feet" on this N you have only one side shaped out making it seem more like a right side up "U" much as we see the right side up sspU in the first word. Also taking this same line of visual font discrepancy, I believe the 2nd to last word is infact a d and not a p upside down because if you look closely at the top of the "d" it has the little line coming from the top which a p would not just on that particular side. I'm dry, besides the 1's bugging me I guess it's just write and see what could be exchanged/rearranged? what's really annoying is if you look at what you copy/paste compared to what's at the status link then compare it to the way it looks on the home "_rez_" page and it all looks completely different.

  5. That was a long delay . Did you by chance save this gameplay? I know it was a while ago but I'm always hopeful. If you could check out the pics in this link under the image collection (sorry it's down there). If it's not one of those could you try to describe a little more of what it was? Maybe even find an effect or light picture that is somewhat like it?
  6. Thank you for the pic upload Bagel, pretty sure the OP has no clue or else wouldn't be mysterious just so people can put there effort in and he can claim he knew it all along. If you have information to share then share it, posting up riddle's is ridiculous as we have enough from Treyarch to handle at the moment. Moving forward, anyone notice the "misty" zombie on the right? One of those also look's like Marlton, Stuhlinger the zombie on the far left? Pretty sure there is a Tranzit straightjacket zombie which we can barely see cut off on the right so maybe Rus is in there somewhere. Another part that interests me, "Sea Air Land". We've done Land(tranzit) and we had Air(DieRise), is this another Sea reference or regular stock lettering for the weapon? I myself can see them using an Oil Drill Platform for a tower with teleporters to the secret underwater base below. Bring on the Nova 6 Swimmers!

Now for what really caught my eye, Nun, like Kaph, Mem, Pe, and Tzadi, has a final form, used at the end of words. Its shape changes from נ to ן. This is showing that the use of that word is both in a particular Font style (Sans-serif) and the fact it's shape is a usage for a final letter in a word. If this is the letter they are using then obviously the word is either scrambled, multiple words without spaces, or being used as more of a pictogram. Most importantly if we are looking at this as a code we have 4 different letters by themselves. A, I, not enough 1 letter to fill that which is usually the easiest starting point unless this is using number's or possibly a list (A. B. C.) I've got the next 6 hours to stare at it while I'm at work, I'll keep on it Titan Edit: ok scratch the part of it being used at the end. Didn't realize the forum was formatting it out of it's original context. In the tweet it is actually the serif form but still it's final letter version for a word. I have to note, this is what it looks like when it's in the original and not turned upside down, if you flip the words I'm not sure what that symbol would be.

I see the view's on the thread going crazy but no one's posting so I assumed the google bot's were visiting often *Progress Update* Added the 2 player team listing up with progress on how to best find an orb or atleast hopefully have a setup that will best bring about results. Continuously adding to all the sections and trying to improve the information that's already there. Resource Appendix will always be added to every week, gameplay archive when made available. I'm worried about the post's on the thread and possibly losing the important information within page's of posts so I'll try to work out something on the top post. Also, If we have plenty of people who want to be part of the 2 player teams then post up your interested and I'll add your name's to a list for others to contact you.
  9. I think the most distracting thing is the Video author using the MOTD name's when it is clearly not there voice either and the scripted intro to dierise. Since we have two confirmations already I'm assuming the file is accessible to many then? Can we take this opportunity to try and clear up the "mystery" voice with audio tools? I noticed it's a lot less garbled and less background noise so maybe this is our chance to finally find out what is being said.
  10. Thank you for the information Mr.Dr., I've entered the video into the post you spoke of and hopefully can get some more details about your game from you if you still have it saved. I've expanded onto some of the general area's, entered new section's such as Thread's/Write up's in the resource appendix as well as the start of the gameplay archive. This is just one of many new step's I'm taking to include as much as possible. Over the next few weeks I have several other advancements I hope will bring more effort and co-operation in the community to finally do something with this mystery. I ask that anyone from now on that gets an orb in a game simply save that game for someone to review or if you have the time be able to write down the steps taken. I will upload my full report in 4 hours when I return to the casa so that you may see exactly how to do it. *Possible Progress* Well seems my progress is more of a process of elimination. I received an orb finally of the Maxis side in town while playing as Marlton which I've put into the gameplay archive. After day's of trying to activate my friend talked me into playing a random public match and sure enough there sitting on the streetlight (laundry/jug) was maxis's orb. Grateful for the clarification on character and orb location not having boundaries but frustrated because I knew it was going to happen when I stopped trying lol. Some thing's to note. The tower had both sides on it and I believe having this setup is the most encouraging way to activate orb's. If each specific orb has specific path's needing to be done then having all available for activation (both maxis and richtofen) means more chances of stumbling onto something. Also, while playing my friend and I never saw a box orb. However, when watching in theater mode we received two box orb's right off the bat. This could've been only visual to the 2 random's but they were stuck in the tunnel (hilarious though, made a joke about O4 doing a circle party on the bus and whoever drew the short straw had to sit between the two guys after which I closed the bus door's trapping them in the tunnel, laughed for days!) Noticed as well with the orb's other cannot see it when spectating your screen, but you can see the orb's while spectating there screen even though they can't. To me that is extremely detailed coding and is way to purposeful to be considered a possible glitch anymore. Edit: updated the OP with the gameplay that I had saved into the archive's. I tried to get as detailed as possible without going as far as every single kill. I might put a legend up if some people don't recognize some thing's such as DN (DieRise Navcard), TN (Tranzit Navcard), R/M (Richtofen/Maxis), and player abbreviations. Come on guys, we have to say we gave this a solid effort if we are going to leave it to the side. I need saved gameplays, experiences, and any type of contributions (images/links/videos). This is wide open for researching and we all can help this along.
  11. I think this is less of a troll and more someone just sharing information that is new to them. If you ever have a question just click his profile and see his user post's, he's active and decently post's. Besides that he's not actually saying that he unlocked something, just an observation which you can't really troll on unless you're saying you found the horse god On to the matter though, it has been brought up several times. Using the forum search usually helps but with tranzit being vacant lately I don't think anyone will care. I'm not sure where I personally stand on the "2nd Bus" theory. To me the bus is more of an oddity which I believe may be a prototype. There is a lot of evidence out there to collect though including the map's at bus depot showing a 2nd route, the company and the actual bus itself, and also NukeTownZombies or NTZ for most. I brought up Nuketown in this thread because I feel it is relevant for this reason. When playing nuketown and the bus honks you can still hear Marlton inside of the bunker. Meaning, he stays as long as you survive and never actually "leaves" on the bus. We all know how much the bus driver does not like to wait sometimes, to me this shows possible evidence of the bus actually being created or modified at this location. Again, even if these robot buses exist in this time period I feel our Tedd character is unique and almost human in it's ability to process and react to it's environment including sarcastic and dramatic personality trait's. No company would employ or develop such robot's for public bus routes. But all of this doesn't rule out the 2nd bus theory, where did the bus originally come from? Who could've sent it, Maxis? Did his plan kick into action the second he was allegedly shot (for those grassy knoll theorists )? Also how does Marlton go from the bus to a bus depot waiting for the bus? That in itself could prove that maybe our bus is in fact a 2nd bus if the other broke down and we are waiting for another one.
  12. Went ahead and redid the "original post" to convert it into an image collection. Also, added the "Resource Appendix". I realize that while although I have researched a lot, there are of course thing's that I will miss. My hope with these new sections that with looking over footage and evidence you may be able to come to a conclusion that others have overlooked. If anyone wishes to help or is also interested in the subject and often review other people's work (videos, pics taken, threads) then feel free to post up the link's here so I can add them in. If you would rather not post then simply message me the info and I'll be able to update it. Over the next the following days I will be putting up everything I can find on the matter. It is my hope again that with others analyzing skills we might be able to find something. *Possible Progress* It was my belief for the longest that only "Misty" was the character that saw the "Bank/Jug Streetlight Orb". Of course after a quick research I found that was not true. However, in my searching I have found only video/images of Misty and Marlton seeing Richtofen orb's in town while Russman and Stu only see Maxis Orb's in town. The exception being "Mixed" orb's of both blue and red. Also, I've noticed a trend but do not have enough material to say for sure but I believe the opposite is true at the Tower. Meaning, Marlton and Misty will see red orb's at the tower while Russman and Stu see blue. If any of this is true that mean's different tower color's in game would mean different steps needing to be done as well as having to be a specific character which could explain a lack of progress.
  13. This recent update was made in partial haste. I have taken the opportunity of renewed interest in tranzit to go ahead and post what I have been working on for over a month now. My delay has been research completely countering what I have known as time has progressed. Certain thing's like the box orb's and town ray's always throw a loop hole such as recently activating a slight orb on the laundrymat door and now continuous orb's that refuse to rise out of the box even though I had no known evidence of this ever happening besides teddy bear hit's. My main problem for this thread is my recent loss of being able to take picture's. I had marked where and what pictures I wanted up in the hope of going back and filling in when I had the proper equipment but alas that hasn't happened. If anyone is willing to help get footage and/or picture's please help me as I will always post up anything I get and give credit where it's due. Anything I have put in the above post to get picture's from I can recreate and will do gladly with anyone's request. Now onto the good stuff and what's happened in detail for my orb activation for the bank/jug street light. I have successfully activated the orb twice now and have seen video footage of others who have as well which points towards more clues. Both times during activation I was not purposely trying to create the orb, however, for both times I had bought the bus depot door and also had physically rode the bus and activated power myself by putting it together. On both of those time's the turbine wasn't built till after the door was opened (playing with randoms, someone grabs the last part and refuses to put it on or pretends they don't have it). This erked me to no end till I saw an NGT zombie video I had seen countless time's on orbs but this time I noticed he actually had a turbine part in his inventory meaning he never put it together and this of course was the same orb location as the one I activated. With Mr.Dr. discussion on other orbs I have seen similarities involving power activation and lampport teleporters needing to be on as well. It was my belief that they needed to be either active in a certain combo or been used (all of my game's have teleporter usage randomly). One thing between all of the orb's that have been seen physically turning on is that it is done by turning the power on with possible prepared step's done before it. This has been and will be a pet project of mine and I'm always investigating on Tranzit.   14. I have seen the flying turbine's for a while now. As far as my situation it can be done at the diner on various car's and other debris. Was not aware of it till this 1 boner showed me because he always just used his turbine to fling it instead of doing anything with it. This was probably a month after the game was released. I've seen them act strange though, popping from one area to the next and also once landing on top of the bus right on the front of it like some type of add on (freaked me out). I'm not trying to debunk or anything of that sort, I think there's just a lot about these strange little guy's we may not know.
  15. Saw the video and unfortunately the only way I can get it up now is to do it through my youtube that's linked with live since my cam is broken now. If you want it would be better for me to walk you through how to link it and that way you can upload it under your name. I also suggest that one of the key things is to record a clip with the time slowed down. The point's are pouring in to fast so you can't tell what kind of kill's you are making. If it is a head shot kill and you still lost it then it's a solid something, if not then a possible headshot perma perk lose.
  16. Another explanation could be the fact that tunnel's have often been used when associating different warping locations. Not sure why this is but we have case's such as the MPD on the moon. Highly unlikely but what if a tunnel from Shanghri-la is connected or randomly connected to a tunnel below Area-51 that the grate system is connected to. This would explain how they got there, the quote about knowing the location (Richtofen is a 935 member and would have access to other scientist's knowledge of military bases), and also why it wobbles. Other reason's why the tunnel's would be synced is the teleporter at the Area 51 base itself. With the element 115 at the teleport (pre-earth destruction) it could have caused it to be attracted to the area. There's also the reasoning that the being/being's in charge had reason for them to go to the location so directed them accordingly.
  17. I understand your pain, much like the jug skull you collect with the tomahawk you have to get a routine down and then perfect it. I've noticed if you stand directly under the portals and attempt to jump you will not be able to breach the opening. Taking a few steps back then jumping gives you a little extra motion to wiggle into it. Not sure if it's that you jump higher with the movement or if you simply need to line it up perfectly to slide in but it's definitely a bother.

I'm interested in this to try and debunk for the non-headshot perk as most are probably associating this too. If we can recreate this with a headshot it would probably be assumed to the gaining the headshot perk but who knows. Lot's of questions to ask but most of those would be easily answered with the video so I'll wait till I see it.
  19. Hmm I'm pretty sure some may know this if they're hardcore jetgun users. However, since it was fixed I doubt anyone goes out of the way to assemble it except to experiment like you did. I myself had no clue about the portal difference when jumping with the jetgun. Makes me wonder about any other changes that can happen when teleporting. The portals I feel are useful but also necessary, whether they are a by-product of the 115 enriched ground being dug up and the lampposts power mixing or just a convenient and important way to get around the map, the fact that we have the EE being related and other mystery's yet to be explained makes me ponder it even more. To be honest I saw this yesterday and was hoping you would report back with some more news before I had a chance to experiment just to narrow down some things that have been tried. Either way though if you want add me up and we can try some things together (always easier to have someone holding zombies and doing other things as well).
  20. We're talking about the build-able turbines that come from the Bus Depot? I myself have only seen it glitch out a couple of times, twice now from farm to powerhouse though. Pretty much each time it has happened to me I put down my turbine at the farm and can't pick it up. I ride the bus to the power house and you can see it in the ground above where the avogadro spawn would be. You can really only see the pulse aura around it unless you run through the powerhouse past the Electric Trap build-able and up those stairs where you can look through the windows to the yard behind the powerhouse where you will see the top of the glitched turbine sticking out. Never figured it for EE related, theatre mode also does the same thing though where you can glitch to the top where the avogadro spawns. Figured it was just the turbine coding trying to reset itself and moved to the area? If you're talking about other places though please say where and if any were put down, you're going to have to give a lot of detail and anything you can think of for those without ps3.
  21. Good strategy but the only problem is the afterlife power only teleports them away from your area so the round would never end. It is a good thought though, using the part cage to your advantage(been locked out before). Using your afterlife technique one could zap the one's that jump in while one revives so the other two just shoot continuously. Using PaP Uzi for wall ammo refill would be helpful and if a power-up drops then the person in afterlife can open up and run to it then back. Of course you just switch around when necessary for ammo conservation and if someones afterlife is getting low. You really wouldn't need to use the afterlife feature till later on when it gets really dangerous either way. Worse case scenario, it sounds like a really fun cage death match challenge.
  22. That makes me ponder, is what we're seeing then something that's completely unrelated to our previous story line? I know I'm echoing other posts with this but are we seeing a possible future branch off? If there successful in satisfying the community why not include zombies in other titles to entice sales? Pretty much like soap opera's we will see multiple "zombie apocalypse" game modes where black ops has our original story but other versions will have things like "lucifer" tormenting or maybe another title carrying an alien zombie apocalypse story line where they aren't mysteriously hinted at but forefront characters and bosses to fight (kinda excited if they did that one). The fact that another team worked on it and it's still as golden could further prove them wanting to expand zombies into other titles but could of course mean other things. From a bussiness stand point I think the sells of "Ghosts" will determine the future path they take, not sure how much longer they can go with "Black Ops" because at some point using the same name can be hurtful when there's better avenues to take (even bungie moved on from halo). As everyone stated though, zombies is a cash cow. The storyline can't continue forever but the mode can live on.
  23. .... I did. Please read all of the post's fully if you're going to be negative or make a rude comment so it's atleast backed by something substantial. I'll admit I was rude and short with my response to your's but only because of frustration. I have tried multiple times on the PaP with no results (no fridge on dierise). I was asking you or anyone else to test it out as well before posting to help contribute to the thread. If the sliquifer is true (unfortunately no vid) then I'm just baffled. Fridge only on Tranzit, Sliquifer only on DieRise and then Afterlife on MoTD. Again, unfortunately no video for DeadMike's experience with the lightning flash. When I get home I'll try out the sliquifer trick to see if I can get video confirmation. What exactly are we saying this is for though? Just a random glitch response for random glitches? Is there some type of reoccurring theme between all of these? So far after analyzing the MoTD video I can see that after the original 2 guns are removed he also has a m1911 with downed ammunition (8/16) but then it is taken and he is given the common "after response" of a m1911 with 8/32. With that it's 2 confirmed video evidence of a 3 gun glitch activating it, I'll post an update after I run some tests on the sliquifer later but either way I don't think I'll be able to recreate Deadmike's experience.
  24. Just went through your posts and found what you were talking about. The circumstances you described are different from this video. Can you try to recreate exactly what you did? From that post you stated nothing about the fridge so just trying to make certain what you are saying activated the laughing and the loss of all your stuff.
  25. Have you tried out die rise as well? Look I really don't care if it's a patched glitch or the answers to all of our wtf questions with the tranzit ending. I just don't see why people post without spending 10 minutes researching. I value opinions but mostly when there based off of evidence. If we can get this glitch to work on dierise then it's just that, a response to a glitch. Why would you patch a glitch one way on tranzit but dierise is non existent with the exact same machine (PaP) that the glitch was on for der riese? Doesn't make sense to not carry that over or have people spending even more time fixing something they already fixed if it's a glitch response.
