  1. Introduction Hello everybody and thank you for coming to this thread. Anyone that takes there time to appreciate one's expression by just reading the text included is what makes this website so great. Anyone regardless of there beliefs and opinions I feel have provided me with joy by simply clicking, thus adding a view count to something I have created. While although it may appear petty by nature, the overall enjoyment comes from every single view regardless of my overall number in relation to other threads. This being said I want to emphasis that the contents of this post is not to condemn or belittle those who may feel I am negatively attacking them. This is purely a thought process that I have had for a while now and have some views and opinions I wish to hear others perspective on. Creative Creations - An Author's Control Issue Over the course of several months I have posted in other threads about how the world of zombies is slowly changing and evolving. I'll try not to get off topic with it but I speak of it a little in this thread. Regardless though the basis for that particular thread was not just "Navcard's", but the fact that change is upon us while we continue with the same methods that have gotten us by this far. The future of zombies is unknown to me. I wouldn't begin to suggest I have answers to the problems and situations we will face. I do though contemplate regularly the way's in which we have in place. As many of you have experienced we now exist in a flame war community. No longer are posts allowed discussing possible EE path's or idea's without several comments wanting proof or in general telling the OP he is out of his mind. Many of you can recognize this as a path most of the world has gone including science as a whole which when breaking it down is exactly what we are doing. We present a hypothesis and several experiments, hopefully with some type of progression if we wish to have positive feedback from the general public. What I ask is everyone's view on a particular control mechanism if it were in place. This mechanism is the ability to control the content that is provided by others into a thread you have created. In layman's term this is the function of deleting and/or marking as negative(spam), those posts that do not reflect your thread. Possible Problems/Solutions: In the thought process of this, the idea of simply deleting another person's post can be effective but also destructive. One problem which might arise is idea theft or creative stifling. Also confusion could come if a reply is made to a negative post but then the negative post is removed. To counteract this though one could have a "Youtube spam comment" system where it is present, but hidden in something "spoiler" like. I have presented a possible problem and a solution for this idea first in the efforts for creative response instead of opinion response to my views. The purpose of this idea is for many reasons. We now have hesitation and unworldly negative debates being conducted on a daily basis. Even those post's that are being "nicely" negative still have an impact on the overall thread's ability to reach a particular reader. An Example: Say you are reading a book. This particular book is pure fantasy and by scientific means has many flaws. While any normal book wouldn't matter after reading it, imagine this book has twice as many pages at the end with peoples comments about how horrible of an idea this book is or many examples about how the concepts inside of the book are completely wrong. This is a stretched example but lets look at the process of a thread being reviewed. A completely uninformed person new to this site reading a thread is allowed to dive into the author's text and completely absorb the content. This allows for your mind to expand and possibly enrich your experience. These thread's sometimes have nothing to do with the actual facts behind what has "photo" proof or hardcore evidence. These thread's can sometimes be ones own imaginative fantasy of something they love and do. The fact is though for the most of us we know how a thread's response's will be within a paragraph of reading the topic. For those who don't know you find out when you read the magnitude of pure unhelpful posts such as "Move on" or "You're wasting your time". These, unfortunately, are examples of the polite posts which we've all seen turn much worse. Further, there are other area's this may help. While I believe making comment's "wait" for approval from the OP is enforcing to much authority, the process of control over negative comment's may empower the OP to be involved with his work even more. Also, marking certain posts as "unnecessary" may provide a cleaner view for someone coming to a multi-page thread for the first time. We have seen in old posts where pages of posts can be non-informative or possibly post's like "let's meet tonight" when researching a thread idea in motion. While although these aren't "negative/spam" they still reduce the value of the information that is present. Another aspect this could improve is personal involvement between two individuals. Improved reply posts will always make the author recognize those that are helpful and being able to mark negative comments also makes you notice those that are not. While although there will be negative reactions like, "I'm definitely not posting up in his thread because he always marks my comments as negative". This could also make those posting a reply think deeper about what they are typing and if this is really helpful for the thread at all. Also if these "negative" comment marks are recorded in a counter type fashion, you would have better informed readers knowing how the people conduct themselves. For example many of us count "posts" next to a persons name with how we view or process there comment. While 2000 posts is impressive, if 1000 of them are negative remarks, we now know this person flames as much as actually contributes. Extended Conclusion (wrapping it up but not quite finished : The idea is to improve everyone's experience. An idea does not need to be proven true to be effective. If 1000 false idea's lead to one person's mind expanding to allow for a single discovery, then the site has succeeded. Alternatively, If one negative comment keeps any individual from posting there own idea on the contents then it has caused a detrimental loss. This ability could technically be impossible depending on the functions available to administration and how the Forum is coded. But, like my thread linked before, this isn't about one idea. This is about what we can do to make things better. There is always room for improvement and when it involves creativity, we must always be ready for a new way. I encourage those who have the same thoughts to ponder the most basic of what we do, "How do we improve that which we have always done?" We have been hinted at concerning missed quests that the zombie makers have provided for us even after millions of people's tries. We have qualified teams who do nothing but investigate and try to unravel it all. Thousands of pages of documents can be found on the internet involving this game but we still have yet to be 100% effective. These reasons alone push me to improve how we conduct ourselves to the tiniest degree. If you have ever felt discouraged, overwhelmed, attacked or anything that has given you a negative spin, then I implore you to use that experience. Help those like you and those who will come to the same place by letting your mind improve and expand your world instead of repeating events time after time. Thank you again for your time. I never say all I want, nor do I present it the way I wish I could. I don't let that stop me though because I love this community. All of you make my day better repeatedly without ever realizing it. I do these posts for the many or for the one, if that's not accomplished then I do it for the mind kick. Regardless, what I wrote isn't stagnant for just this forum but the pursuit of life in general. Many have written that the world is corrupted by the fact we can post a comment thousands of miles away with no consequence versus something spoken in person. This only encourages me, we now have a no consequence society where moral's for physical existence are not needed to be socially involved. You can look at this two way's, 1. Individuals are more likely to be negative and hurtful towards you, or 2. If a complete stranger, who you'll never possibly meet, disagrees with you but can still be kind, morally upstanding and helpful. Then this person is truly someone bettering humankind as a whole and I will always feel privileged to have met them. KeredNomrah69 (Derek Harmon)
  2. I'm a big sound guy so definitely interested in this. Is there any chance you can take a picture of the location you are talking about? Even a phone pic would atleast show us the exact location so I can pinpoint it and experiment with it as well. Sound wise I know of the semi truck with the weird noise to the left of the front entrance to tunnel (coming from bus depot). There's another location but can't remember off the top of my head. One other note about the tunnel exit (towards diner) is if you use a PaP RPD you can see what would be a lamppost light reflecting off the top. You can do this with any weapon to see it but the flat top of the RPD and shiny PaP camo makes it easier to see. Specifically the location to see the green lamppost light reflecting off your weapon is near the rock wall on the left side leaving the tunnel. I was always curious but after seeing the "yellow orbs" in windows I just chalked it up to a lighting glitch as well, if its near your sound though it might be reason enough to investigate further
  3. I'm just upset at his signature lol. How could you do that to me! I just finally got online to watch my shows and catch up on some CoDZ and you sucker punch me with that crap . Honestly I do not have anything to contribute to the persistent perk area as I've kinda stayed away after perma jug came out (decently done, just not willing to go down on purpose to get it so useless to me). In my opinion Treyarch could've came at this a whole different way by making a list of what's available. Like with the multiplayer pick 10 setup you would have the knowledge and obtain those perks that fit your style making the same playable characters now customizable and exceptionally different. Once you got tired of one group of perm perks you simply abandon the rituals of keeping/obtaining them and move onto different ones. Seems each week there's a new mystery perk that has 20 unknown rules to it when the EE's are lacking in true depth (opinion/storyline/wierd storybook steps like stand on glowing talismans on a skyscraper? Really? What happened to the scientific, alien devices, element 115 Dr. Richtofen?)
  4. You do not need two people with EMP's but it is suggested. Unless you have a team member in town to put down a turbine at juggernog you can have a difficult time under the tower at high rounds. 2 EMP's simply means that if one player goes down the other individual can throw instead. This way you don't have to worry as much with trying to protect just one individual who has the only means of completing the ToB Achievement.
  5. I now have evidence of Marlton working secretly for other organizations such as the Disney Corporation or better know as Walt's personal Illuminati play house. We know that the "Disney World" theme park built in the 60's and finally opened in the 70's is a known hotspot for experimental research. The element 115 mine that the castle was built on provided the material for what was to be the first "Soul Transfer" into another creature which would be used later in his movie productions.
  6. Unfortunately you have to remember the rules. The actual existence of the perks are determined by the group that had the technology. Nuke town is limited to its resources as everyone else is, meaning if who's who was present some type of espionage/trading must have been done with the Chinese government. The classics are there because group 935 were sloppy with there tech (I would be as well while running from zombies). We also know that spies had infiltrated the group previously and that the scientist were a mix from several different nationalities. This is why we are able to have multiple different countries with the new introduction of perks in a fun storyline way from there own research branching from that.
  7. Found several lights as you described. Will update with more pics but found 4 I thought you were talking about, turns out I missed your 3rd and 4th one but I'll get them. If not a lightbulb with no shade reasoning, possibly more bulbs that have a burnt out look? One thing though, the lightbulb outside by the box location (first pic) didn't look burnt out till I reversed in theater and went back and forth from activation of power. This was strange as well since instead of waiting for power to be turned on fully like everything else does, these lights automatically flip on the first second. I'll make a run tonight with some friends to turn on the power while I stay in farm so this isn't done in theater mode. I gotta say I'm loving some of the new threads that are basically picking apart every little detail of the map. So much work has been put into past maps that I feel everyone was just rushing for the EE excitement and glory with tranzit and became burnt out and frustrated with this map. People forgot how interesting even a little sticker can be. It doesn't have to activate an epic ending of mind blowing proportions. I'm happy just seeing a hint at some back story or connection with previous history.
  8. Couple of things I've noticed over time, first off I believe it's no damage can be dealt nor any damage dealt to the player. Meaning even lava and falls negate it, I usually run circles at farm when I get it back to back and it's a lot easier to avoid lava out front. Another thing I've noticed is I've lost it twice now 2 seconds after it activates. Both times at farm, get the red insta killa then 2 secs its gone permanently till I've done the dance again. What's strange is both times there were zero zombies around, end of a round and I had none left. I thought it was just something I missed the first time, second time I'm thinking its like not reviving, you lose that persistent perk if its not used.
  9. Not sure if this was meant as a constructive criticism or not. Gameplay wise, you could've said the same thing about the moon. But they did it and an underwater environment is used to simulate space missions and certain tests. Therefor the coding is already there and would be simple. Where would zombies come from? Where have most of the zombies came from? The facilities themselves and the usual piles of dead bodies that seem to always correspond with element 115 research. Once again, how were there zombies on moon? As far as interacting with outside water there are several ways to make this fun and entertaining. Underwater wonder weapons, oxygen time limit, possibly even letting PaP weapons work as they are a laser based technology. Treyarch definitely has a technology imagination in my opinion that could pull it off. As far as the theory itself, I have no idea. Research and investigation is what drives me and I myself have only heard of this theory from Blitz as of tonight so I cannot state my opinion on it. What I can say though is negativity in any thread and calling any statements incorrect because of just simply your opinion is not a way to conduct yourself in a place like this. Move on if your not interested and don't agree with someones theories. If it's constructive criticism then by all means. We've all discussed forum quality, this is one way to make sure posts aren't being buried and important information is presented.
  10. Is this really that big of a deal? Women deal with this most of there entire lives and we're complaining about a couple of comments in a game? I think if the majority of women are able to be mature about it then the adult males can aswell and not even worry about it, if anything comment to treyarch who designed the lady with breasts exposed, short shirt and her panties showing which I don't think is necessary for the story line to progress. While although I don't think they're going to edit a character that's already been made they may do a more appropriate outfit in the future if they realize its not acceptable to the majority. On a side note, I think it's hilarious to hit on my friends and tell them how sexy there looking today, of course I always comment on stuhlingers hot knees as well lol . Might as well find something funny about a situation you have no control over.
  11. I can honestly say this has bugged me as well. I've heard several quotes from stuhlinger from past characters and have wondered if the O4 figured out richtofen's body transfer trick. There's also a lot of quotes I've heard which sound nothing like stuhlinger as if another voice was speaking through him. Speaking of past audio quotes, I managed to recreate Marlton's "nuke town" quotes involving his electronics and other sayings by use of the Avogadro in tranzit. Not sure if it has relevance but if it did that may mean he was at a previous location with another electrical being or something very similar. I'll dig up those stuhlinger quotes and references when I'm up at the comp but I believe the ones I heard came from tank.
  12. I've seen this thread and I've attempted to stay to the side but regardless I'm going to have to put my two cents in. First off if you truly, truly believe the EE and all Tranzit's secrets are revealed then there is absolutely no reason why you would be in the Tranzit discussion thread. If there's nothing more then why visit something that's purely redundant in your eyes only to put down those that wish to continue a search they feel is unresolved. The manner that the OP has started this thread was in a respectable, free caring way that just called for theories and suggestions as a matter of discussion and not your disapproval of making a thread you deem unnecessary. Let's get down to the basics. If you believe all coding has been uncovered then you are completely lost in your own consciousness and truly have closed your eyes to even the most basic of information. Time after time we are thrown loops of audio we've never heard in game (anyone find cargo yet?), orbs that appear for absolutely no reason or rhyme, programming for things we can't even explain like a zip line and reactions inside of the environment that have stumped us all(what are the rays?). For anybody with a basic knowledge of old school programming you will know that coders love to put in hidden elements. This has been turned into huge proportions and was actually the start of how zombies became so popular in the first place. To think you have uncovered everything in all of the maps and have unraveled the mysteries is pure insanity, these people breathe secrecy and hidden meanings. To this day we are still making connections to old maps which have hinted at future events. Listen, on the major scale I tend to not side with some of the major theories. My interest is purely finding out all those small details we have seem to not been able to figure out. What I can't stand are the new breed of people I call "DLC Holders". These are not the ones that have posted previous theories about new content coming from DLC's, these are the people that no matter what all they post is for everyone to wait. The DLC came, now they say wait longer. What do these people expect? I hear them say wait, but no one is saying what we are all waiting for. The Nav card? Were going to wait for the final DLC to get a card to take to tranzit to use in the nav card....then we activate the nav card table and teleport to DieRise? If were not waiting for a magical teleport that will take us to a place we already have then the theories have been a whole new map to explore. Do we not know activision and 3arc yet? They just cut there DLC staff, they ripped every person off that bought the hardened edition with the NTZ switch up to season pass and we all know how great they are about fixing the right glitches. I have an extremely hard time believing that they made Tranzit only to add onto it later. Why? Money, why throw all of this work into a map people get for free that will be updated with a whole new area when they can throw it in a DLC and make people pay for it? Everything they've done has been advertising and marketing schemes for a while now (Black ops WAW map remakes anyone?) So I see no reason why Tranzit would be the key to it all. Now for my conclusion, I'm not a dense man. I can easily see the pattern of needing one card to take to another as they've shown with DieRise. Even with it accepted though no one has any clue what that means nor has it impacted any of the current EE strategies involving that map. All I'm asking for in return is don't get stuck on one theory. Its great to have one and to test it out and even do a write up about it, its fun. But to say it's all done? or even worse to tell everyone to wait? This is the equivalent of a scientist being told to wait for death so god will grace him with his knowledge, it doesn't work that way. ANYONE who is a true EE hunter would never tell everyone to "wait" because its simply not in there nature. -KeredNomrah69
  13. GT: KeredNomrah69 TZ: Eastern I'm game for this weekend, after 8pm is a definite followed all the way till early morning lol.
  14. actually just had a similar event happen to me but it was in the power house. We searched everywhere and finally found a zombie one of the players had emped stuck like you described. It was near its spawning window but was completely out and frozen mid run but slightly twitching from side to side. I really hope everyone gets to experience this, it was like having a frozen zombie to investigate while it was still alive. While although the eyes didn't glow as if still emped it was in a position to where you could stick your head inside of his and get an excellent view of the "control" collars (has anyone done a workup on the collars?) with the yellow V that are on them. While although it doesn't sound that exciting it was still fun and a good relaxing period in a high round game with a rather hilarious glitched zombie(lots of gun barrels going in places only pulp fiction would touch!). Regardless though when it was time we killed him and the next round started. So are we calling this the EMP Glitch or the EMP Freeze? I'm thinking something a little more old school like the EMP Blizzaga -KeredNomrah69
  15. I remember when I first got this game there were two matches in public where I joined after it started. I thought this was common since it was my roommates game and had no clue till weeks later I was told you can only join on going custom games and public are pretty much locked. The only difference was my search settings. After two days of crappy random play I changed from any to best and have since never been thrown into a game. Not sure it's full proof but seems to have ward off those random mid game connections.
  16. In response to the suicide situation you have to remember you are dealing with an emotionally disturbed individual who has survived probably countless years of horrific acts followed by constant voices in his head and a timeline that has obviously been screwed up for him. The mandate of "how his thinking works" is completely off context from a "normal" perspective as we don't have a zombie apocalyptic world in which super-human beings from the Aether attempt to control us with constant mental abuse. Now for some info we do know, "If a person is determined to kill him/herself, nothing is going to stop him/her." Not True. Even the most severely depressed person has mixed feelings about death, and most waiver until the very last moment between wanting to live and wanting to end their pain. Most suicidal people do not want to die; they want the pain to stop. The impulse to end it all, however overpowering, does not last forever. From: Save.org (Suicide Awareness Voices of Education) As far as his quote after the Ledge Stare into Spaceit has been noted in many cases of suicidal patients having fears of being murdered or family disapproval of an act they have done. It's only been the T4 for who knows how long and these guys have been through hell together and back. It is easily plausible for a mentally disturbed individual in this situation to be more afraid of the disapproval of those closest to them then actually fearing the act of suicide (which is actually seen as a relief/release for those clinically depressed). Stuhlinger has a long list of mental illnesses and many that probably haven't been documented (lets give 3arc a benefit of the doubt). In either case there's no "Go-To" guide for this one and anything is game. -KeredNomrah69 *side note: I really hope the browser history for researching this post isn't going to get me my own Intervention episode! What you guys make me do for quality assurance, tsk tsk ;)
  17. Must be a setting. I've played for 2 months with my roommate using a guest account and its never signed him out before (even leaving it overnight). Now xbox live has signed out my main account over and over in the middle of a game but that's xbox being xbox(loves to do it during netflix as well atleast 5 times a week). Gotta love having to pay extra then still having problems just trying to join a party or a game.
  18. Just a small update I thought I would share with everyone. #1. The sound of the "Clear Debris" progresses in loudness regardless of which one you activate first, I.E. doing one then the other makes the second activating volume level increase. #2. You are able to hold down the button on the tv for as long as you like. 10 minutes was the record for me. When you start an electrical current is heard surging. Immediately after letting go a "Schunck" type sound is heard (hard to describe), followed then by the "Clear Debris" sound. Speculation: It seems VERY odd to me that you are able to hold the button down on the TV for as long as you want. This could in fact be a part of something bigger like a possible step of staying in place for 2 minutes (moon EE). I see no reason why this TV would have this function unless you physically have to do something on the map while the person is holding down the button. The fact that you can do this once, only once, per game encourages this for me. There is no redo's or resetting this function without starting a new game. I have currently ran twice with a full crew of people investigating while I stood at the TV but the truth is its near impossible to search everything. If your in a game and everyone is running around try doing it and have some people test out anything that pops into your head, worth a shot in my opinion.
  19. I agree the topic is misleading however the thread is solid useful information. Unfortunately in a week or less the tips will be buried and searching this would pull a lot of other threads. Any chance we can edit this into the sticky tutorial at the bottom? I only say this because of the one thing that has bugged everyone else, not being able to do the EE's by yourself. No ones posting that this is horrible or an outrage, the topic is the only thing that has bummed people out because everyone WANTS to be able to do it by yourself. This may be a sloppy unfortunate way to do it but if I'm bored one night and cant find decent players I will probably try it out.
  20. I don't know about you guys but if "Hero" by Skillet or anyone else performing played it I would automatically run to revive anyone that goes down on the map lol. Best record was from powerhouse to tunnel, stamina-up, claymores out and shot him with the kraus knife before he could die out (once in a lifetime shot from across the tunnel) I do agree though they have been slacking big time on any of the musical background. I had to get another headset just because I needed an aux line in to hook my comp up since playing music through xbox lags the game with an already crappy connection. Honestly though, there are so many great undiscovered bands out there that there is absolutely no reason for the lack of decent music. Hell they could even do a competition, everyone sends in there material or they even pick a song for everyone to play and then submit it. You would get some awesome versions of already great songs and they could do it with a bare minimum of funds, not only that but Kevin would have more people to play with in his bored hours. I'm aware that the music has never been that extensive in any of the maps besides the Teddy Bears and that but I don't believe it would downplay any of the songs that are hidden if they had a solid soundtrack of decent music playing during the game, hell it might even get the lobby song out of my head at some point.
  21. lol I think I"m going to bookmark this thread incase people give out some more good ideas because I am ALWAYS looking for zombie slaying music and the playlists are never long enough! Mad props for Powerman5000, been a huge fan of there's for a while (no one remembers them anymore lol). Here's 4 from me that might interest other people As I lay dying - Anger and Apathy pD0wsBBdFe8 Chorus gets me everytime. Bullet for my Valentine - Your Betrayal n3TLu5uocX8 Trust Company - Downfall nmX0FI8G0og SpineShank - Synthetic lKHgsURehU0
  22. Hmm wasn't aware this isn't common knowledge. I'm a huge game mechanics sort of person so these are the little things that perk my interest. There's also a few other tips as well like they said above about more zombies spawning with white and other fun facts like jumping over a crawling zombie changes his personality (fast to slow and back again). Spawning player wise every area has "spawn locations". For instance if your in the tunnel you can stand on the first steps in tunnel and spawn them there or simply walk further down the tunnel and they will spawn in diner. Another example is power house, if your at the electrical trap you spawn them inside the power house, anywhere else and they spawn outside by the ak74 As far as methods go any strategy you make will be out the door with the first step you make, plans are like that. Downing yourself for others seems pretty overboard unless your just wanting to end your game but I admire your dedication .
  23. lol I've had one stuck in my head I've been trying to recreate for a while now but with no luck. I was running trains in town via tranzit mode by where the bus usually sits (stamina up location on town survival) when my friend threw a monkey at the bar. Instead of hearing the monkey going off a baby started screaming and crying out of nowhere then immediately stopped when the monkey exploded. My first thought was Marlton's quote saying "They have escaped to breed!" but alas he chucked the monkey and had no clue where it landed and I have yet to recreate it no matter how many monkeys we've thrown around. I invested in high quality head phones a couple of weeks back and have heard a lot of things, the above being one example, I think the creepiest has to be the little girl out in the corn field. Do we have reasoning for the sounds we hear? Is this something that can possibly tie into the storyline or even a glimpse at the past of green run? I haven't immersed myself in the other maps yet but thought I could ask here if the sounds on the other maps were just random creepy sounds or were there reasons for why you heard that particular creepy sound? As in is this a "Silent Hill" style creep factor they throw in or is this more of a "Lost" style creep sound where everything has a hidden meaning?
  24. Tried it myself, you need to have emps. First time I was worried he wasn't under the pylon enough but the second time confirmed you can't use the knuckles to capture his "essence" into the tower.
  25. I understand this could be a useful way to get to the box coming from the other side with a trample steam. Your thread title though is "Shortcut to the Mystery box", meaning a quicker way then the most common route. If your going to build the trample steam then you would either have to run back and forth for parts or get 4 players to all go build it just to come back and use it when you were right there all along.
