  1. Oh god here we go again lol I'll comb through them tonight, but I'm calling another big games release equals less people playing black ops 2, hoping it's not more smoke being blown.
  2. Takeo for sure, he is the most capable of stopping Richtofen. I like them all though, and just as long as the BO2 "heroes" are cast aside (nyaha) I'll be happy. But in the end, I see Takeo landing the death blow.

    Staffs

I would say the Ice staff in terms of easy to build, and you can get a chart to do the upgrade, making it easier than getting it in the first place. For the rare lover of winters howl like myself, it makes for an easy choice. I've actually never got to use fire, because like SMM said, it is usually spoken for. To me it didn't seem that strong, but more of a satisfying kill because they tend to char and smoke even if they don't go down.
  4. Only embarrasses when I tell my teammates they are ok to take a break and I am supposed to watch the crawler....sometimes I forget and they die.
  5. I don't know where I fall into those categories, but I'm 28 and have taken care of myself since I was 18, been a gamer since I could push buttons lol. I have a girlfriend that despises gaming but she at least knows it's my only outlet from the daily grind so I made it clear since the beginning that when I want to play, I play. Mostly my holdback in gaming is work, but it's rare as I am an artist by trade so I can usually just sketch between crawler breaks and while I'm in a lobby....or wake up hours earlier and bust out the work in the morning (I've done this more than I would ever admit lol) I agree it depends on your life, but age has little to do with it after a certain point, I know self sustaining teenagers, and I know 30+ year olds that still live at home and have no ambition. Kids are the only exception to gaming for me, if I had them I would stop playing so much, but luckily I don't want any haha.
  6. Really good idea, it will probably be a thing as you can get a lot of digital games predownloaded before their release. Something else, in Dark Souls 2, all their dlc is 100kb because they are infact just Unlocks, more or less an item that you have to use to even see the next part of the game, if it's doesn't exist in the game, than that area is unreachable. Could be altered for a map based game too, that way even the worst internet imaginable wouldn't be an issue with 100kb.
  7. I've always seen it as a EE weapon first...who in their right mind builds this thing with the intention of rebuilding it through the whole game, when the weapon itself puts you at a major disadvantage. I actually like Tranzit, but there are a few things that I don't really like in the game that would have made it more enjoyable. Jet Gun- It's been brought up already so I'll just say I agree with most of you on the uselessness of such a "wonderful" weapon. Lack of exploration- There was all this new stuff to look at, and it ended up being mostly just that....something to look at. I spent so much time in that huntsman cabin KNOWING something was there but nope, other than a few in game items it's a useless part of the game. Same with the corn fields, we get two large areas, yet on each side there is only one place to visit. It also made no sense why zombies could run through the corn but we could not, a simple fix would have just been to add the water/mud effect while you were not on the path. Nacht- Gave me half the map to play, I was disappointed that we couldn't use the other 4 rooms when in reality, you can't survive there very long anyway with non buildable windows and ffs, it's Nacht, not the most known map for high rounds... The unanswered questions- All the crap that was unfinished and nobody could just admit they ran out of time (again), I enjoy the map very much, but all this time later and I'm still asking what the hell is up with the orbs and the ghost kids in the corn fields, as well as the men and women voices in the bar. The potential for small detail was there, but I guess it just had to get it finished and out on time for the release.
  8. Winter's Howl is not "shit", it's saved me, and my team plenty of times. It's a support weapon, not a raygun. And spork maybe you're thinking of the electric traps?
  9. I taught Snake on here....he's better than me now so I guess I did meh jub.
  10. Daaaamn, I have to try this! And I was all feeling good about blowing peoples minds on my friends list when they seen I made it to 31.... Very nice man, can't wait to give it a go.
  11. I preferred it on W@W because my strategy was ruined when fall damage came into play. But I still love the map, it raised the bar very high for zombie maps, and is a real reason people expect so much from this franchise. Some of my best games were on that map, not in terms of rounds, but over all enjoyment. Plus, throwing Monkey in the fire never gets old.
  12. Yea Origins and Tranzit are my favorite, I enjoy atmosphere in games, and I really get a sense of the end of the world in Tranzit, and I can't really describe the way Origins makes me feel, kind of like I am watching a really old movie....
  13. Aug is my second favorite, a whole lot more common than the M27 On Der Riese it's a good weapon for me because those dogs get murdered by the shotgun attachment.
  14. Well, it's nuketown, a map known for being small and chaotic so I don't see the point of opening up areas that didn't exist in the MP experience. I consider this my warm up map for the most part, I can't say I love it because I don't, but I am far from a hater when it comes to this map. I find it good to start with the chaos, that way my next games will seem more at ease, or if things do get out of hand, I am more ready. Also, remember this was just a piece of bait for everyone at launch, it's meant to make you want to get the hardened/ultimate additions of the game, and a small piece of story to sate those of us that want that sort of thing.
  15. Will do, thank you @KeredNomrah69
  16. Ascension was supposed to be much bigger, so the fact that it's so easy is a result of running out of time and having to settle for what was finished. I don't remember hearing anything similar about the making of Buried. They give you the options to rewind mistakes, infinite ammo WW and multiple corners to sit in, it was all intentional and I believe this map was intended to be easiest of the maps on purpose. One could argue that all you have to do is not get those said weapons, and don't hold up in a corner, but again the map was intended to be that way, so by taking the opposite route is like trying to play Tranzit's fog areas like you're in the Bio Dome.
  17. PaP M27 any day. You would think I was 8 years old and just got the raygun when you hear me get this weapon on nuketown.
  18. Agreed, very far from similar. Not much is known, but I always believed he was just an American scientist that went mad from 115 exposure and released all the zombies and crawlers (probably controlled by Samantha being the more 115 you're exposed to, the closer with the controller you get). To me, he is nothing more than a catalyst for the events that lead up to Five.
  19. The only similarity I see is the rectangle or doorway shape the teleporters have, and the faint blue oval behind the mystery man. I need to go look on Origins but there aren't any numbers coming out of the portals to Argartha is there? My guess is it's coincidence that they are similar, the pentagon thief is pretty exclusive to one map in terms of story. I always thought he was just an American scientist that was driven mad from 115 exposure, maybe he let the zombies out/in, maybe he is the reason the map exists at all, but I doubt he is traveling through time, or giving orders to our original four players. I will say there is still voices from the teleporters in five that have not been decoded. I made a thread about it a few weeks ago but no one checks BO threads hardly. It just looks like a man going backwards through time, potentially tampering with things to benefit him, or his goal in 1964. The patients don't look like zombies yet, it's more a long the lines of sleeper agents (like the story of BO1 campaign) being brainwashed. I say sleeper agents because they are all watching a TV screen (doubtful it's computer screens) with the text "ZZZZZZZZZZZ" under it, giving the impression they are asleep to a degree. I really believe that this person, whether on his own or under operation of a group was trying to make the perfect zombie by FIRST brainwashing the person while in human form, making the person fully controllable BEFORE ending their life and reanimating as a zombie. Of course it all failed, but this could be nothing more than a prelude to the tests that were going on before the rest of the worlds governments caught on?
  20. I work on the weekends, might catch you this Tues-Wednesday though if you're around. @lead_psychopathlead_psychopath
  21. Those cheat cards from W@W would make a cool gift for fans. They could just substitute whatever suites they lack with updated enemies, since they (3arc) have made two games since the cards were even last seen.
  22. Small group, every so often. The Zelinski tweet a few weeks ago got me combing through for a little while, but otherwise it's Origins, Tranzit, and occasionally we'll hook up some BO1 maps. I still have easter eggs to do, so I can't say that I've played the game to it's core, but I sure have put in a lot of time just like most of the other people on here. Records were never a top priority for me, and I only factor in my friends records, keeping up with global is a waste of time. Pretty much now, it's just a group of friends having some drinks and keeping the laughs rolling.
  23. The pencil sharpener was actually a really good idea, could easily be crafted I'd imagine.
  24. Small victory I was falling asleep in a MOTD match and somehow survived to the end, while falling asleep. I stayed in the Laundromat with the PaPd acidgat and would doze off, the vibration from my controller would wake me up when I got hit, and I'd pop off a round and be awake for a few more minutes. I was almost playing in my sleep, and was doing so fairly well. I also sniped a zombie across from the jail house in Buried, while standing in front of the church. It was the last zombie and I thought I'd never hit it but I did, it died and new round started, oops lol
