Going back to BO2 misty poster.
Tattoo247 replied to Tattoo247's topic in General Zombies Discussion
She definitely floats lol I think that is just a result of the MPD. I don't have a lot to say about the second announcer except that Samantha seems to have had more power than this announcer demon. I remember reading, I think in MMX trilogy thread, that when she entered that pyramid she was given the majority of power over the aether, while diminishing the second announcers power. My only thought is, she compares what is in the aether to being "far greater" than what she was doing. Kind of contradicts what I just said lol -
I've always thought they were zombies, you only hear them while they are dying. And if you get a nuke they go insane. Every kill makes whoever is in charge of the zombies stronger, via souls. You hear them, you kill them, then you hear their souls leave. *shrug*

The hell...how did I miss this  I'll definitely have to see it for myself so I'll check it out after work.

Is the electric zombie connected to Samantha?
Tattoo247 replied to ZombieKiller27's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Zombies allegedly say "Sam!" when you get too close sometimes. You were probably caught up in the moment and thought HIM say talking to you. So far the only insight I've had on "HIM" is he was a result of testing the Americans were doing under the ghost town of Tranzit. They made him a power source somehow, a long with those Denizens. -

If his soul is in her body, how is he in the aether too? The body never moves, even when we are face to face with her. We hear her speak, we see her actions but they are not done through her physical body because she wasn't in the body, her soul is in aether. Same applies when Richtofen took her place. -
Der Riese didn't have a comic book page.

Because they were making it up as they went they never expected this to be this big. There is no master plan. The story is changing all the time. There is always that, I had almost included that in my reply. Nothing wrong with trying to make sense of it though. -
Big Guy... If we've learned anything from this map, it's stale old candy and liquor is the key to gigantism and healthy bones ;)

I am also ps3 player, but I've spent about 5-6 hours on an xbox playing Buried. 19 was the highest I could get mostly because I was at work, but I can say it feels a lot like older maps to me. Everything is really accessible, if you are a box lover you don't even spend points getting to it, only one door to power. Then there are a few spots that branch out, but are still easy to get to the next area. I watched the EE for both sides, I was happy to see the effort put into those, a good cliffhanger for the final DLC. It is an all around well made map to me. I just had to remember that if I didn't want Big Guy in my horde of zombies I had to stop picking up candy/alcohol. He is really useful until you don't need him and he is following you everywhere

This is really what I'm hoping for, I can't get into grief like a lot of people can even though it's mildly fun, and turned is only fun at the end of a long night killing zombies. I want to see COOPERATIVE game modes, let us hold small places no man lands style with 8 players and let us enjoy that chaotic setting. I haven't been into competitive styles in shooters since Modern Warfare 2, would be nice to see a mode dedicated to team work of the whole group like the story/survival.

I agree Flammen, the BO1 rendition of Der Rieses loading screen is completely on paper, the objects around it are drawn on the paper, where WaW had actual objects around them. Perhaps the change was to show that the comic is drawn exactly as it was in "real life", showing that what is drawn becomes real, why they choose to show us the real one first I have no idea. Complete guess  -
I don't care if it is Mars or if it is't, BUT if it is, I really don't want the low gravity thing to come back, it was great on Moon and will always separate itself from the other maps, but been there, done that, well before Moon even came out I'd rather just have normal gravity, agreed?

I've always just thought of Samanthas body as a doorway. She is soulless as far as I know, but she is the link between aether and our plane of existence. -
CoDz First To Worst! (#2 Ranked Gun Vote)
Tattoo247 replied to Gaycandybacon's topic in General Zombies Discussion
There was, I think this is the number two ranked weapon for CODZ. And I would like an explanation on why a jet gun is better than an AN? Im sticking with the DSR even though it's slightly altered, I still like it. -
CoD:Z's Official Persistent Upgrades List!
Tattoo247 replied to AlphaOmega's topic in General Zombies Discussion
The thing is, I haven't played MOTD since...probably before Buried came out for xbox ( I am ps3 user). So if it is indeed an upgrade, it's obtainable on Die Rise pre Buried release. I might do some tests tonight, not sure if I'm going to play, but if I do I will go to MOTD. Again, IF this is an upgrade, I'm thinking it's activated by getting over 20 rounds, it's when I notice it and I am guessing (for testing purposes) that you lose it by missing any drop. This includes the perk bottle from the max ammo rounds, but I can't say if you have to activate the bottle, or if you can shoot and just have the max ammo drop. -
What does accuracy have to do with getting the perk bottle? I thought you couldn't shoot, only use knuckles, granades and claymores. It's just a result of having all the perk bottles, my team tested not picking them up at all and nothing really happened. I just shoot them if I have all my perks already.

CoD:Z's Official Persistent Upgrades List!
Tattoo247 replied to AlphaOmega's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Have any of you been experiencing a crazy increase in power up drops lately? I felt like I should post it here just for the fact that it feels like an upgrade. Usually in the mid teens-early twenties, I'll start seeing 6-10 power ups per round...double max ammos, a nuke that produces another nuke ect. I know it's always been possible for that, and after my third game I just had to start thinking that this was a result of something I was doing. I just wanted to know if anyone else has been seeing this, I get no green flash or anything, but I don't see a green flash when I get the "tombstone" upgrade either, but I have it. -
Mob's Not Gonna Be Forgotten
Tattoo247 replied to EvilHERONeos's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Lately, I've been thinking it was just to show who USED to be in power, if you want to call him Satan, then that's fine. When Samantha entered the aether she took his power and could act "through" him in a manner of speaking. That's just from what I've read and it made the most sense to me, MMX zombie trilogy has all of that in there go check it out :) -
Hardcore zombies- No crawlers, no "wait a minute", just kill until the rounds end in game over. Also team hardcore- A predetermined team is picked (four players ofcourse) you can only revive your teammate and vice versa, same rules, just kill and end rounds until it's over. I used to do these on BO1 all the time, havn't even done them BO2 but now I kind of want to :)

That seconds weapon blueprint looks like the thunder gun or...*shudders* another jet gun :?
-
I never really quick scope anyway so that doesn't affect my play style. If I'm using a sniper, it's the DSR, and it's always in longated part of the map. For example, if you have one or two people on the roof of Die Rise, you can stand on the cat walk going up to the powered tower and just aim in one spot and basically play with one hand for a while lol. Also my new favorite spot on Die Rise is under the roof, leaving two doors closed where the elevators show up and hold that back spot sort of like the old Der Riese days by the power switch.

DLC 4 "mode" called Gateway? (FEAR TEDDY)
Tattoo247 replied to Electric Jesus's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Wouldn't it be NTeddy? As nuketown came before tranzit? Well yea, I guess it did. Being it was happening with moon how about we just say FEARN TEDDY Fearin teddy...I fear no teddys! I really don't mean any disrespect to the people who think it is fear teddy, I just like to voice my opinion, as redundant as it is I certainly don't think anyone here is an idiot, half the time I feel like I'm the one learning something. -
I knew this was crap from the beginning, my first Tranzit experience we all had the turbines on the bus thinking....it would blow them off the windows   We've came a long way in almost a year haha. Just remembered another one- Spending X amount of rounds in the fog disables the fog.
-
That's what I never placed them on the tops of the elevator, I lose them and they don't reset  so I would say it was a needed fix but that's just me.
-
I had heard that activating the zombie songs made the zombies tougher to kill, and made their AI more aggressive Not even going to touch the second bus route.. Going prone in a corner and letting another dolphin dive on top of you equals to more power ups.
