  1. It would be great to include the BO1 maps only, but that's just my opinion. I wouldn't mind doing some turned or grief on those maps, would be neat to see how I stack up against players on the maps I've played the most. What I don't want to see is, a copy/paste of the maps with no changes or add ons to the story. I want to REVISIT these places, not play them the way they are in the beginning story.
  2. I believe on Tranzit, Maxis or Richtofen tells you to build the nav card table, but not to worry about what it does yet. I'm pretty sure it was Richtofen, so I would say it does play into the story line. I guess we'll have to settle for MMX's idea for now until the last DLC. It is a fact that Rictofen can teleport them wherever he needs, so I guess he just shot Stu to the corn fields for enough time to insert it. Just so many questions though!
  3. You just have to watch what you do in games now a days, all entertainment for that fact. I know that the band KISS, cannot use their typical "SS" in their banners at concerts in Germany because they resemble the Nazi SS, they have to use regular S's in their name while in that country.
  4. I miss the Nazi storyline as well as the zombie models. BUT, that was getting the game banned in Countries so you can't keep that up if you are thinking business.
  5. Hey everyone, as I sit here watching and reading all the info on Buried, I had a sudden thought that I had to share and see what you people have to say on the subject. There will be a spoiler about the nav cards in case anyone has the will power to hold off until ps3 releases the map. So, we all know by now that Tranzit's nav card fits in Die Rise's table, that makes sense right? Richtofen sends us from Tranzit to Die Rise. Now, why would we have to backtrack all the way across the globe just to insert Buried's nav card? Better yet, HOW the hell did we get back there? I am aware of the completion of the easter egg, but I do not know them step for step. Do the nav cards HAVE to be inserted before Buried easter egg is completed? With no mention in the story, other than Marleton and Misty talking about Tranzit's town in Buried's intro, why are we accepting that in the midst of us moving forward in the story, we get to return to Tranzit? It is something that is bothering me so I thought I would throw it out there for discussion.
  6. How about we say Maxis isn't evil, to the extent of intention. Say you have a child, that child is taken away from you from someone you know. Would you do anything possible to get the child back? Would you take an innocent life to save another life closer to you? It's a big circle as far as debating, like politics and religion the "what ifs" and "what abouts" are never ending. Some say it's evil to kill the innocent person to get the kid, some say it's pure intention that drives someone to do anything, and can justify taking a life to keep the child alive. The fact is people do things everyday, in the name of something, that something will affect the life of someone else, but if the intention outweighs the outcome...then you're talking about something in between good and evil. INTENTION doesn't have a yes or no, right or wrong. I'm sure that wasn't confusing at all
  7. We still have The Flesh to deal with I'm hoping. We need to know who the true announcer is, what happened to Arlington, The Flesh, the Original Three and Samantha. It has to come down to time, the whole full circle thing keeps me thinking that the only way to fix the world, is to erase the history that lead to it. The intro to Die Rise and Buried show that the earth is still coming apart, even if you kill Maxis, stop Richtofen or any of that, you can't fight physics unless you start breaking laws, such as changing time. Guess we'll find out soon!
  8. My friend had this problem. It seems like you were in a game where the nav card table was assembled, and another player inserted their card into the reader. When I got die rise, my friend build the table on the game I was hosting, I put my card in first and he was never able to put his card in after that, even if I wasn't in the game. We just assumed it worked for both of us because I still see my nav card from Tranzit and Die Rise, whichever of the two I feel like having I can go pick either of them up, even though I put my Tranzit card in the Die Rise table. If not, I have no idea sorry.
  9. I have followed Richtofen in hope that HE would have had the worse outcome. I knew Maxis wasn't all sugar and sunshine but wasn't prepared for him to do what he did. I gave my vote to Richtofen because I love his humor, Maxis is very dry and although he fits the role of "boss" better than Richtofen, I can't turn my back for the simple fact that Richtofen has character development and was more of a focal character on WaW and BO1 compared to Maxis. I have to hand it to Maxis though, he has outsmarted Richtofen twice, or at least in the universe of him finishing the EE on Buried.
  10. Thanks for the answers all, now I have more due to all the info. I will go ahead and say this list will include Spoilers, and questions with possible spoilers for answers. 1. After finishing Richtofens side of the easter egg, Samuels eyes turn blue and he shares his physical self with Richtofen, does this only last as long as you can survive? I'm sure in moon when you traded bodies with Samantha, it was only for the duration of that game. I assume it's just like that but would like to know please. 2.Two part. The ending of the easter egg with Maxis as the "winner", does Maxis send Richtofen randomly once per round or multiple times? Also does it span the rest of the game or is it reset after a game over? 3. I was under the impression that someone had to be in the pyramid on moon to control the zombies? If Maxis has control in this version, does he not possess Samantha's body? That's pretty strange if you ask me. 4. Is the "big guy" effected by either side of this easter egg, or the Lady of the house? 5. Are there no mentions of The Flesh in this map? I felt they were fixing to open up on this group. If you go by Richtofen's outcome, he should have full access to the group as well as know their whereabouts. 6. All the focus in the opening scene seemed to be on Russman, has anyone compiled some quotes that give us a deeper look into how the 115 is changing him? Thanks for taking the time to answer the questions.
  11. The last one if my favorite, I saw on youtube last night that he was carrying a crawler while it hit him, his laugh was hilarious. It seems with each map we're slowly getting what we were wanting.
  12. I'm glad I decided to follow Rictofen, pretty cool you can use him again, even if it's him sharing Stulingers body. A couple of questions, can you reset these EEs yet to get both outcomes? And once Richtofen's side is completed, does Samuel have blue eyes the rest of the game, and every game after or do they only stay once per game? And on the note of who is good or evil, it's definitely clear Richtofen is still the greater of the evils. Any attempt to "save" the planet is only to have a population that he can control. Maxis, is a more misguided evil that is based on the love of his daughter and what he will do (or not do) to correct what's happened. I don't have kids, but if I did, I would certainly put anything or anyone second. There used to be a quote about villains starting out with a noble purpose but I forget lol. Maxis went from trying to improve the human condition to making sure we are gone to spare us the suffering, and to best Richtofen of course.
  13. I catch myself saying Perma sometimes too, it's all "persistent upgrades" but we all know what you mean when you say perma.
  14. Hmm this one will have to grow on me. Pretty revealing story wise though.
  15. Hey everyone, I have a few questions about the new map I thought I would ask, and hopefully enlighten the ps3 community while we wait for our release. I'll keep it short as I can. 1.The ghosts, it looks like they are not a max ammo round. So, do they always keep coming if you are in their house or is there a limit to their spawns, they seem very over powered. 2. How you do make the "Big guy" mad? All I've seen are people feeding him, and at one point it looked like someone gave him something to drink but maybe not... 3. The new wonder weapon, it looked to have infinite rounds, am I right about that? If you could break down what it does to zombies/ghosts/Big guy I would appreciate. 4.I saw a new pistol like weapon, long barrel and a six shooter chamber. What's it called and what is it when PaP'd? 5. Has anyone found more than one song? I'll add more as I think of them, thanks for any answers.
  16. You guys that are trying combinations through the maps should specify which side of the EE you are following, I'm very interested in seeing what is going on for those who have done only Richtofens side, it's the only side I've done. Just something I thought might help separate occurrences just in case it's important.
  17. Mongoloid is the name I've given him. I'm sure once it's been out a while we'll figure it out. How is the AI? I'm on ps3 so no fun for me until next month, I was worried he would get lost or stuck, has anyone had problems with him?
  18. It's cool, I'll pilfer through some quotes when I get time.
  19. Anything is possible I suppose, I couldn't say where the story will go until we at least see what's at the end for the Buried map. Things are twisting too much to even say what we will be doing. I doubt this will conclude the zombie story, too many people but this game just for the zombie mode. Out of all the multiplayer maps, I did combat training for about 10 minutes on the skateboard map, and havnt tried any of the others because it's just not for me, as good a job as they've done on MP I just prefer working together against the AI, and I don't have to worry about a 12 year old zombie calling me names I'm sure we'll see Paris eventually, wouldn't be the greatest final map in my opinion so maybe BO3 will have it. I just hope they break away from the "boss" zombies they've done since COTD, purely for originality purposes. I don't mind toughter, bigger single zombies but I'm coming to the point where I am wondering what the next one will be, every other map would be fine to add one.
  20. Hey, can you link me to a thread or whatever that has info on Russman, I've never really knew his story and always assumed he was a hobo before the world was hit. I would appreciate the help.
  21. I have not used the new gun, but I saw a video a couple days ago of a guy having it and shooting at his feet repeatedly, zero splash damage. I cant say 100% if it was Papd. I'll wait for it's official release, just because I have never liked futuristic weapons, was never a halo player even though it's made really well. I prefer bullets and blowing things up the old fashion way 8-)
  22. That's cool, congrats to the guy. I could never attempt something like that because of my console being so old, it has been freezing my games lately so if I got over 3-4 hours in I'd probably freeze.
  23. Strange...it works on custom zombies although I don't know if you can get it on easy. We got it last night on transit, I told my friend I read about a PaP perma perk so we tried to PaP the weapon a few times but we never got the flash. I also got a pistol out of the box with the easter egg energy coming from it, PaP did not trigger anything new. It's pretty cool getting a bunch of perma perks at once, on die rise I had all of them at one point except jug because it was round 19, and of course I lost iron carpenter after the round but it was still pretty cool having them all. I'm going home tonight and again trying to mix match and PaP weapons just to see if there is indeed anything still hidden since the new patch.
  24. Last night I was playing Die Rise solo, build the trample steam on round one and by round two was hitting the box. I got the persistant upgrade flash and Misty said a quote, but it was dubbed over a quote she was in the middle of saying so I couldn't make out what she said, I doubt it's even important. Anyway, I hit the box a good 3 more times and didn't really get anything that great, an RPD and a Galil. I was tempted to throw myself off the edge and end the game because I know my luck with wanting to record something then my ps3 freezing. I decided not to, and went to the roof, by round 4 my game froze... I can't help but to think it's relivant to the new storage fridge, everyone knows that you can convert weapons now, the AN-94 becomes a Galil on transit. But the thing is, I had the AN-94, went in to Tranzit to see if it would be in the map, it became the Lamintation (the AN was PaPd) and I put it right back in. I went back to die rise and the weapon was now the Lamintation on both maps. This is strange to me, is this just a way to get a decent assault rifle without using the box or do you think if we get the glow from the box, store that weapon in the fridge and get it out on another map with anything be different. And better yet, if you get the swirl energy from Tranzits box, WITH the Permaperk flash, store it and retrieve it on Die Rise will it be altered any way? BTW the weapon I had was the shotgun that you have to cock (hah) every four shots, sorry I cannot remember shotgun names that well. I should have probably held onto it but I traded it for the Galil.
  25. People were having trouble looking at the map? Really?? That sucks I guess, I've been on transit and die rise too much to go into MoTD but I hope it isn't worse looking because although I've burned myself out on the map, it's still the most visual appealing map on BO2.
