I thought they said "toy" when you throw the monkey, but I haven't listened for it since BO2. I just figured it was a mistake or they were lazy and left the Sam voice in the game, ya never know though. -
Balance is good, I come here and read things because it's all sanctioned and most people are good about letting you know they're fixing to spoil something before they type it. Some people like to be the first of their friends to give out all the info, some people enjoy the experience of not knowing anything. Besides, I've never seen a leak or anything that wasn't a fake, I'm sure there have been a few but I don't look for them normally. I like to start my first game with all the knowledge that trailers and the forum community have given me, but map exploration and finding all the small Easter eggs are what I enjoy doing alone or with my friends, unless I can't figure it out I won't look at guides.

I just want to see where this story is heading...once it's out of the way I can take all the maps in at once and hopefully appreciate them a lot more.

You'll probably have to knife her to death, don't know why but the name of the trophy just sounds like you have ectoplasm on you, so knife of grenade kill maybe?

I've only seen the "gold" on the AN-94 and the AK-47 but figured it was something that hadn't loaded in properly.

Always thought that was a dragon...the ears (or lack of) don't look anything like a dog/wolf. Reminds me a bit of the WW from Shangri la but I doubt they have any comparable qualities other than the look.

Pretty neat but one question, how do you KNOW that shooting produces a higher nuke drop rate? I think that's pretty much an opinion as I usually get them from knifing on instakills, rarely do I see nukes. Would love a link to any powerup threads that are based on fact. A hells retriever on round 2 is insane, props for sure. -
I'm not trying to sound like a Richard, but quit playing randoms....they have, and always will be useless. That sentence is 100x more true on ps3. Find you some friends and fill up your lobby and play that way, it's the only real way to build strategy and know that no one will quit intentionally. A penalty isn't going to fix much, if I were to get penalized I would just go waste 15-20 minutes. They could always do a disconnect rate % like Tekken Tag 2 does, but even then you can't really tell who is a rage quitter and those who have had bad luck with their connections. Friends are where it's at

Well, when I did it, we did everything else first. We got the Redeemer, the Golden Spork, the 2 songs and the 4 numbers in the sequencer. We were on the last step basically, and I ran the bridge until I had 4 Brutus', and had the other players spam the box on Alcatraz. When Brutus spawned over on the island, we shot at the Brutus' at the same time. The one on the island was first to be de-capped, then the 4 on the bridge. Not sure if everyone heard the bells, but I did on the bridge, and it was like a church bell playing 5 times. Tried a few things afterwards, but nothing. I threw grenades into the pit but no different sounds. Maybe we need a certain amount of grenade kills after getting this? Brutus does drop a smoke grenade when we de-cap him, so could be a way to get a 'Special Grenade' of sorts? I'll have to try it again then, we were trying to save all 5 until the end of the round without killing or knocking off the helmet, which ended in failure and downs I was just going to play around with the docks after we did it because it seems too close to those perk jingles.

5 is good enough for me, its made it much easier as when I'm not trying,[soundcloud][/soundcloud] I can still get it on round 6 or 7

Two questions, first do you have infinite afterlife at that point and if yes, does it remain infinite at every down?

Could not successfully complete it :x because we kept killing Brutus and his copies at the bridge. Do you have to hoard them until the end of the round or can we just kill 4 and save the one at the prison? Kind hard otherwise but that's not a bad thing just frustrating.

Got some good footage on my ps3, the game ended up being good so by the time we died it was past time for sleep. Also had a zombie shoot in the sky on round 22, almost like they do with trample steams. A glitch surely :lol: -

I knew about the silver spoon but it has two separtet pieces that float around you in a super quick orbit (or did I read that wrong??) That is insane! Going into theater when I get off work, unless you would be kind enough to link me to something as I DO believe you, I just want to see it for myself. -
My only guess (besides glitch) is the retriever/redeemer has a calculated amount of hits and perhaps it goes through Brutus because it's already fixed on the targets it plans to hit? That's the best I have. 8-)

Just a quick addition, if you listen to the MOTD perk jingles, they are all done with bells. Perhaps finishing a jingle COULD possible open a chance at those perks we cannot use? They just sound so much a like (the brutus thing and the perk jingles)

And anyone notice on the Mob of the Dead map picture, Weasels is the only character that doesn't look scared/worried? I'm sure it was not intended but it always looks to me like he is so sure of himself and everyone else is got a WTF face, especially Billy he looks like someone hurt his feelings.

Professional tattoo artist, a lot of old school tattooers hate the younger generation, so I enveloped myself in the history and over the years you gain a little respect for knowing the old ways...nothing like a mob gang but pretty damn close! :lol:

Well, going back to the deciphered code on Kevin Sherwoods Die Rise song, I'd have to say if there is going to be a Paris map on BO2 it's going to be the next dlc, I have no idea what the last map will be but that songs hint sort of sounds like the last pack will have us revisiting some old areas. I would totally be down with Der Riese but having a Tranzit sized area so we could leave the old map...but who knows, that would probably make a lot of people angry having a map thrown into a new one.

Weasel because I can relate to his character, or could. It took a long time to get respect in the industry I am in, the whole time I felt I was capable of greater things so I instantly felt bad for him. Doesn't get the respect he deserves but when he is needed, everyone comes to the Weasel :lol:

Sorry Zen are you sure about that last part? I tested it online last night and in fact the afterlife symbol appears near the light, but two things, they were not near the box when they died (was in Wardens office and he was downed near the B23R) and I stayed on the bridge while they moved the box, the light never died or moved. It could be a console thing because I know you play xbox and I play ps3. I will test it over again to double check when I get off work.

Worked perfectly thanks! Was pretty cool to have a point hoarder but still have the other players feel like part of the strategy 8-)
