  1. That feeling when the box shows you monkies 2-3 times then stops on something useless. Even worse when it shows you monkey bombs and switches to something useless at the last second.
  2. I use both on smaller maps, they are just so fun and easy to use. If it came down to choice, I would pick the Executioner just for the fact that while a six shooter is awesome, can you really hold a candle to a shotgun pistol? I didn't even know those weapons existed until BO2 came out, in terms of pure intimidation I would pick the voice of justice.
  3. Yea it would be one time use, just to keep it desirable, but not a must have. I would simply use it starting on a round that I usually die on. Also, barricading opened doors would be really cool, it would give a whole new role to zombies for players to add to their "class". Glad you guys liked it, can't go wrong taking pages from the greatest ps1 game as far as zombies go lol A custom raccoon city map would be insane!
  4. Man I hope CJs videos aren't down...can't check at the moment but he was in my opinion, the best quote compiler.
  5. Just poured my grey matter all over General zombies discussion, looking for a good convo/debate!

  6. My cat... In the room I play zombies, my TV sits on some stage equipment and to the side of that, is a small wooden entertainment system for my 4 main consoles (ps3,ps4,wii,wiiU) and a big window behind it all. From time to time my cat would walk across my consoles, step onto where my tv sets, then get on the window sill. It got to where when she would come off the window, she would jump and kinda force step her way down and almost always hit my ps3 button and reset my games. After a few times of this, I started keeping a coke a cola bottle cap over it, no tape or anything, it seemed to keep her from wanting to step there for some reason. Just be warned, if you do this method, bring a second bottle cap for kitty, mine kept trying to smack it off the console haha. I'm happy to say now it kind of taught her to keep off it, I haven't had to do the bottle cap trick in a long time.
  7. Argarthan Energy- Uses - Negates the option for power, the cola machine runs on it's own separate energy source, thus being on always (like QR on a solo match) also allowing you to drink other perks without the use of power, standing near a machine powers it in the same way a turbine would, but the drink is activated permanently, or until downed because of the energy in your body, you may power other machines for the other players in your game, but leaving the perk machine will power down their perk unless they too have Argarthan Energy. - Stacks damage for up to two hits, releases grenade damage upon receiving two hits from zombies, if downed after the second hit, the damage is tripled. - Can use as an escape method, press UP on the D-Pad and you will release energy similar to MOTD afterlife mode, this will result in a portal similar to the ones seen in Tranzit or from the Argarthan zombies around the generators in Origins. This portal can only be used by the player, or players that have Argarthan Energy, any player without the perk does not see the portal at all, nor can jump in the spot and achieve teleportation. Using the portal method, results in a cooldown of the perk, rendering all its effects unusable. For instance, you decide to leave the power off, drink Argarthan Energy and buy Jugg, Quick Revive, and Double tap to complete your 4 perk maximum. You find yourself cornered and choose to use all of your energy to create a portal. Hopefully you have been teleported to a safer place, because now you are powerless until the cool down is complete, all perk machines are off (unless you have turned on the power, but Argarthan Energy will be powered down no matter what) A four player game with all players having Argarthan Energy will enable the power of the ancients perk, it will show as a stone tablet above the perk list and it's only use is an increase in all damage by 15%. Not the best perk in the world but I am a believer that in zombies, there should not be anything other than Jugg that is pure pro and no con. Here is a very loose and quick sketch I did of the perk. It's color would be a series of blues, with an orange bottle cap.
  8. Super cool, many thanks. Were these all the models you have? Or are the names listed in the beginning in the files to download? I can't download anything on this computer so if anyone has the time, it would be great if you would post the pictures of all models. I found it neat that the screamer and flamer zombies were basically the same model, also interesting is the large cavity they have below their sternums, I'm sure we could link that into how they get power lol
  9. What Boom said, the rattling bottles are just and extra detail when you run into one of the machines. I hope it doesn't insult your level of skill, but I hope you know you can only buy four perks, the rest of the perks are usually obtainable through separate steps, depending on the map. Most of the people here, as well as myself, can safely say you can have speed cola and stamin-up together as long as you have the points, and proper perk spaces available, it's a must have combination if you are rolling with heavy weapons.
  10. Were there not plans in five to include zombie dogs, flame thrower, and wundewaffe? It's been a good year since I've listened to Five quotes, but I almost can say for sure that there are quotes left in the game files on Five about these three ideas.
  11. Well, George says it himself. They studied necromancy so perhaps that was through Argarthan ritual or possession. Not a bad theory, I'm on the fence if that younger picture of Maxis is even legit. But it's not important on how he looks, it's all subjective. In the same way you think the older Maxis is in his 60's, I would argue that a man of that caliber, and many men of study, age fairly bad with the constant stress of research and striving to "better mankind". I would pin him in his mid 40's to early 50's maximum, but again, not too important. He is just a character that has always been behind the curtains, there isn't much info to go on for Maxis. We know he isn't a good man, he tries, so that makes him not a evil, but he is far from the hero of this story. I just don't see how he could be the one who found info on Argatha, funded the excavation, all to just send the zombies away and forsake all that power. The story is at a point where it could go any way it wants, does he really better mankind? Doubtful if they want to keep cashing in on the series. It just seems like in the end, he gets his daughter back, and keeps Rictofen as a child. Don't forget, Rictofen was actually a good man at one point, introvert and cautious, and idolized Maxis before 115 and the pyramid itself changed him into the lovable liar we know now. I think you are on a good track, and hope more can come of it.
  12. It had been awhile since I played BO1, or zombies in general. But I was on Five the other night and when I stood next to the teleporter in the defcon room I heard a collective voice of males. Has anyone ever deciphered those words? I didn't have my head phones on so I couldn't make anything out but it might hold some hint to why there is a pentagon thief.. If anything it just need to be deciphered.
  13. Chernobyl would be sick, we'd definitely be in a hazmat, but if you've ever seen pictures or video of that place, it's basically left in an exact state of evacuation. There are parks, carnivals, plenty of buildings and of course, the power plant itself.
  14. I had a somewhat interesting idea the other night and figured I would once again share it with you guys. I speedrun Resident Evil 2 on occasion and was challenged a few days ago to do so and while I was doing it, it occurred to me that the wires you find in the questioning room that allow you to link up shutters for either of the two rooms of your choosing could be integrated into Zombies. Would it not be cool to have this feature in zombies? Now, those of you who haven't had the pleasure of playing RE2, these wires are used to block zombies from entering the windows for a short period of time (it's actually activated through story progression but not too far into the story). For instance, imagine being in the PaP room on Tranzit for 10 or so rounds, without having to worry about any of the windows down there? Or how cool would it be to have those 10 rounds, later into the game, yet have the ability to hold inside the bus station? This item is in no way overpowered, 10 rounds go by so quick that it would best be saved for a round that begins to be your limit, then you have the challenge of one entrance, no exit, but room to maneuver and possibly escape if you have the skill. There would still be a good challenge of having all zombies pour through one space, reloads would have to be perfectly timed or you would have a problem. One of my favorite things about the map Five is the last couple of seconds before the defcon doors open in the PaP room, where all the zombies come running at you, it would be that experience spanned out over a few rounds. And to finish, perhaps an extra bit of usefulness would be having the wires eventually short out, exposing the window once again, EXCEPT now you have an ungrounded current running through the window, leaving it to damage zombies slightly as they now can climb through the space, almost in a way, lowering their durability just a little bit. The con being, you now have to build one board at a time or risk taking too much damage yourself, much like the MOTD door near the Wardens office, making it harder to close the area off mid round. All this would be great for the next game, I understand with the traps and buildables we already have, this would make the game way too easy. But with the new game, should come new traps and this, to me, is perfectly balanced and useful, used into a farther rounds could make a real good tool.
  15. If it had to represent me...I guess winters howl. I love the cold (not ice so much but low temps and lots of snow is good for me) I consider myself a little underrated (who doesn't lol) so even in a zombies game I will get this weapon just to show that it is indeed a great weapon into the later rounds. I've been known to slow others down lol, I'm a perfectionist and that can sometimes leave people waiting for my finished artwork. Isn't the winters howl the American wunder weapon?...yea, I'm American too then
  16. Being the blunder/acidgat is both an obtainable and buildable weapon, I'll exclude it from my answer. It's still an easy answer though, it would be box weapons. Just for the simple fact that it's more fair to a team who all wants the weapon, it's all by pure luck, not by who can gather a part, or hold onto a part out of spite. This doesn't happen to me, almost ever, but it's always something that has been in the back of my mind since they released the info on buildable weapons, the only reason I play strictly friends only is because of the massive troll abilities. Not even comparing power, box weapons still outweigh buildables in my opinion for reliability (I've had the jet gun parts literally disappear from the map numerous times), accessibility (as stated, holding onto weapon parts is dirty pool) and finally, they just look better, and that has little to nothing to do with surviving the match, but admit it, as much as you probably think the Shangri La wunder weapon isn't all that powerful, it's damn nice to look at
  17. That feeling when you realize you've eaten one too many jalapeno nachos and the round has just started.
  18. Sorry lol I didn't make it, my lady friend probably could but she cringes at the sound of me nerding out to zombies....prettiest hater I ever met Just found it on google image one day and kept it. There is a college in my town down the street with one of the best 3-d printers around, would be sweet to pay them to make me a cool replica, I'd probably choose the Shangri La wunder weapon just for coolness, acid/blundergat is my #2 coolest looking.

    new ideas

Na you have to dodge last second at the church, so a denizen lands on HIM and THEN you have to kill them both with the m1911 in less than 3 shots. Sorry, I'm always up for trying things in Tranzit just because it's a good map to play so invite me if you want to try anything, just know I've done so much scouring in this map that added with the community decoding files and the obvious time restraints on 3arc, I've all but chocked it up to being a failed, unfinished easter egg. Like Ascension was supposed to be 3x bigger with a huge easter egg but only had mere weeks to make the map. On Jimmy's part, I 100% believe that he should not hold his fans hands, if a small detail then it should just go unfound. But if he has players chasing unfinished work then he should speak up!
  20. Very nice, the shredded metal on the end of the barrel is really cool. As cool as it is though, doesn't compare when faced with my raygun.
  21. Does he say that quote anytime before the quotes about calling it a myth? I mean, as the game carries on he could have changed his mind as he began to see the staves, argarthan portals from the generators, and of course the girls voice. Sort of like the cliché ghost movie where there is always a nonbeliever, but as the story carries on they witness the events that eventually change their mind. To say a quote is not relevant, to me, is not a good way to look at the zombies universe. It could be major, or minor, or barely important at all but it's relevant to some part of the story.
  22. Jamming no....no thank you. It would be cool to play a game (not zombies) that really had you maintain your weapon as far as element damage and just perhaps cleaning the gun in a lobby or menu. My favorite type of gun in Multiplayer are pistols, and having owned a few, I know you can't constantly dry fire (squeezing the trigger in rapid succession) without risk of cracking the barrel...chamber....thing lol. So it might be cool to have that in the back of your mind, that you can't just dash everywhere using a pistol like a SMG without having a risk. Jamming would cause massive rage, it's not fun in real life nor would it be in games, and there is definitely the "too far" in games, like having The Last of Us require us to take a leak or crap would be too much.
  23. Good analogy Chopper, it's basically a jab vs a hook. Depends on the map for me, I might get the bowie knife on Tranzit just to have fun with the bus, and to get denizens off me early in the game. I usually run backwards from Tranzits spawn so by the time I get to town, the bowie knife is just a few steps into the fog. I don't worry about knuckles on this map so much. Die Rise I get them instantly but that's more to get those free perks faster, with a knife the jumpers can gang up on you too fast so I just punch'm in the face! Other than that, I guess I'd put knuckles over the knife on other maps.
  24. I never really thought of him as the same Maxis as before. He may be the real Maxis, original Maxis, or just an alternate Maxis, but definitely not the same one from W@W and BO1. He could in fact be aged, and lived a life with no children. The fact Samantha refers to him as dad is, to me, just her seeing another version of her father and calling him dad. I'm if you were to meet your father in a time line where he didn't meet your mother, you would still consider that person your father just from an emotional standpoint.
  25. Probably not, but I would like to see it. I wouldn't even be all too tore up about another company making it, as long as it was laced with classic zombies elements. Also, only if it starts from the beginning, and I'm talking first ever beginning, whenever the heck that was (don't even try to explain it, I'll just have a headache), if I have to play as the BO2 crew, I at least don't want to have to start the game with them, playing with them to see their demise wouldn't be so bad though. I just wish Treyarch would pull a Respawn and go make their own company, make a zombies game and call it something different.
