Perhaps it's just assumed that after the EE of a map, the players (storyline wise) go to the next map, technically the EE is the end of the map, yet we play on because it's how the mode was designed. I try not to let it bother me like it used to, I just like to see proper use of the word, and unless we're talking about MOTD, the only way to see end game, is to die.

Ouch, I would credit you for the round 100. Contrats :?
-
I first heard it on an old mmo I played called shaiya. About 8 years ago, the final bosses in the game were called End game bosses...even though the game kept going and he would just respawn hours later. I agree though, if it doesn't end the game, its not end game. Just like a cut scene has to cut away from something, or else it is an intro.
-
This mildly bothers me along with the term "Cutscene" to describe the INTROduction to the maps like Die Rise MOTD and Buried. Cut-scene, there has to be something going on prior to cut away from, otherwise you are introducing something. Sorry saw the chance and I took it

He could know more then he lets on, Russman insists that he is some sort of liar on Tranzit, but I never figured out why.

Can you still not get jug by jumping off the spot by the tramplesteam on Die Rise?

Maxis is Brock from Shangri-La
Tattoo247 replied to A Drunk Soviet's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Could the tunnel Maxis describes not be the original location of the pyramid that holds Samanthas body? There is dialog on a Moon radio where we can hear Richtofen describe the location he first finds the pyramid, it's dark, weightless and resembles a cave, I always thought this to be the place Maxis was teleported to but there were always questions on if they ever moved the pyramid. If not then that negates my theory, they could have opened the top of the cave so it wasn't so dark any more, making it a cave no longer. Or they could have moved it to a more accessible area. A couple of questions to tack on as well, if Maxis is Brock, who is Gary? Could Richtofen not recognize Maxis's voice after all the research they've done? Why would he go with only one other person, who didn't seem to be that much of a tough guy, to a place with potential zombies? I just see Maxis making someone do the work for him, not going it alone. Good read though. -
That's what I am guessing, it could have been as simple as they loaded the image facing the wrong way, and just left it there. I would love the get these to poster size. They would compliment my man cave nicely 8-)

Pretty sweet! I wonder if that is up for ps3 users or like the PHD upgrade, we may have to wait for this to come with buried.
-
Do you guys think it was intentional that the screenshot of the bus in transit (where they are trying to jog Russman's memory on how they met) is going to town from the bus depot? Which is backwards. Perhaps another "troll" to go with the Pyramid and water ideas, as everyone talked about a second bus that could take a different route. Still worth mentioning though.

Can you transfer on Buried? It might be just because there is no actual bank, the fact we can stuff thousands of points into a shower is probably where they wanted to draw the line If it comes down to emergency, you can always just down yourself with granades and let that person revive you :geek:

I've never heard the name Russman before this game. I just thought his first name was Russle and his nickname was Russman  -
Audio messages for MotD or Buried Yet?
Tattoo247 replied to Charles871987's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Buried, not that I'm aware of. I'll be surprised if there aren't any though. Mob of the dead, unless you count the radio "powerups" you get at the end of the easter egg, no. Between the characters and the easter egg, you pretty much get filled in on the story. -
Custom Games don't count on leaderboards
Tattoo247 replied to Ourobos's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I play nothing but custom games, as I don't have a fourth player that I can stand, and forget randoms I've been done with them for ages. My solo leaderboards are all fairly high, but the multiplayer scores are all probably single digit. Yet I get mid 30s almost nightly on any of the ps3 maps, I always figured if I had some amazing game or got to a high round I thought I never would get to again, I would just save the video or make a highlight reel. It's a shame you can't start a game on public without a full party, I've heard about ways to get them to quit before the counter reaches 0 to start the game, but it's such a hassle. Everytime I try it they just purposely stay in the game to annoy. -
In terms of effectiveness, the AK74u. It's very mobile, has a decent clip and great reload time. Not to mention it's placed usually in a trainable area so you can have access to it's ammo. In terms of fun, it will always be the FG42 just because it sounds awesome when it's not Pap'd. Any time I play Der Riese, I use this gun for as long as possible as it has fairly low damage, but makes up for it by having high fire rate. Also the recoil keeps you from "rock and roll" mode, best to use it like a burst fire rifle.

I can say this has happened to me (ps3). I even posted a topic here, or on activisions forum, thinking I had lost my Tranzit egg. The next day my tower started powering up again, so it was probably something not loading right. It was strange though because we played more than one game that night and it never powered up.

Yes. If you don't want to, then don't. But just because YOU don't want to doesn't mean WE shouldn't have the option. You guys are acting like you are entitled to something. If they were to release it, and if you didn't like it, then just don't get it! But we'll see if it actually happens. But what if you've already paid for the season pass? Apparently, some games follow the traditional Television way of doing a season, so you can get content, then later that year have more. And some games like borderlands, outright refuse to include things in a season pass, I bought one for Borderlands two, the maps were free, but the costumes were sold separately. Try not to think about it that way though, extra content could have not even been thought of before the plans for a season pass was made, it's possible that with such a demand they could tack it on separately for those of us who just want it, I would like to see how DT2 electric cherry and tombstone work out for the maps for BO1. New strategies is still incentive enough for me to buy them, just as long as it's not exact replicas, which they've already showed us with the WaW port for BO1 that they don't do that.

Misty, she is the only one who seems to get tougher ever map, so in that way, she reminds me of Takeo. She looks more like a survivor than the rest, and lets be honest, boobs guns and granades is everyone's type of woman. I wouldn't mind if she joins Tak,Dempsy and Nik to carry on the zombie story, I could see her and Dempsey becoming friends or more...she wouldn't like Nikolia as he is a womanizer and she might like Tak, but doubt he would like her as she is pretty loud and crazy like Dempsey.

My group was talking about this the other day, while in Die Rise. I was joking about how many green perks there are now, and how I am seeing more Red/Orange perks coming a long. Perhaps this is how they plan to separate them while still having the same color? It never really bothered me, as it only takes a couple games to remember where everything is perk wise. It's good to see they are making the small changes that will ultimately matter once the game is finished.

Hey guys, most of you know that I am a ps3 user by now, but I've been glued to the forums and youtube channels since the release of buried. Questions and theorys are piling up and I thought I would give some ideas to you xbox users once you get Buried out of your system. There will be spoilers for those waiting for the ps3 release, you may want to not read any further. I am seeing that the Tranzit map select icon now glows red, or blue, depending on which side of the easter egg you are on. This is just about as close to proof as you can get telling us to go back and revisit Tranzit. During your time at buried, the group (or atleast one of them) has to go back to transit to insert the Nav card to power the icon. How we do this is not clear yet, but all I can think of is, they are telling us to go back to transit. Treat it like it just came out, comb every wall and listen to everything like you did the first week the game came out. It could be coincidence but since the patch on ps3, allowing us to have the Die Rise fridge/bank, Tranzit has been producing the energy glow around the box, and the stop lights in town A LOT. It used to not do it hardly at all, now it seems every game I see the glow. Try everything you guys have done again, there has to be something there now that wasn't there before.

Yes,well, my point was pentagrams are a religious/spiritual symbol and should not need to be censored I wasn't speaking to just you, just a fact I thought I would throw out there, I have a specific client who is in the Army, his wife is from Germany and he brings her in and she told me all about how COD was viewed and the thing about KISS. The Pentagram, as well as the Swastika were originally spiritual, or peaceful symbols that were turned into what they are commonly perceived as. There is nothing wrong with these symbols, but when you are selling something, you have to keep in mind that the general public are not so educated, and the others that have to cause an uproar over silly things like game violence. The town I used to live in, almost got DOOM pulled off the shelf when I was a kid. Just a group of old ass ladies mad that their kids were "killing" on a video game. A game that helped shape a genre was almost removed because of the general public and their lack of education. I never saw anything wrong with killing Nazis, it's not like it's a game about being a Nazi...especially if they are already dead right?

F.E.A.R D.A.T.E.D See how easy that was?

Is the SVU the wall sniper on die rise? I was hoping that would be the DSR :? I like the new add on, it's a super simple crafting system, I usually make me a Galil on Die Rise/Tranzit. Sometimes I wish it wouldn't mess up the AN though, my first time trying to get the AN at Tranzit I just ended up grabbing a lamentation out of the Die Rise fridge thinking it would save the AN-94 and only change it on Tranzit.

future of CoDZ xbox1,PS4,WiiU&PC
Tattoo247 replied to undeadarcademachine's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I've already preordered my PS4, if it sits in the box a few months until a game comes out I want to play it will, I just remember getting stiffed hard when ps3 first came out so I'm just getting it out of the way. As far as zombies, I see more to come, you can't wrap up the new four, and the old fours story in one last map, unless it's just a ridiculously long easter egg. Even if they wrap it up, they can just keep it going elsewhere. I personally would never buy a COD game that didn't include zombies. I had the newest Modern Warfare and I felt like I wasted my money, EVEN THOUGH it was a good game, it just got stale after I beat the campaign. Zombie mode has to make half of their sales so bad business to just end it.
