Me and a friend got it to drop last, round 21. It was crazy intense until then, and us being on our toes made us go much further than usual.
-
I agree with Flammen, plus, it promotes teamwork. Sticking together means you guys can revive each other, but if someone's on the other side of the map? Not so much. Plus, 3arc can hide much more Easter Eggs with larger maps. We'd be bored with a small map months before the next DLC.

Well, with MotD, 3arc tries to please the community as much as possible. We complained about our characters; They hired some actors that were fitting to be badass killing zombies. We wanted the death machine back; Now, we can get it from the box. We wanted newly styled Wonder Weapons; The Blundergat is incredibly unique to upgrade, with 4 seperfate versions of it and I'm pretty sure the Ray Gun is re-powered. We wanted new weapons; Tommy Gun, AK, all box weapons. We didn't like certain guns; They were replaced with great ones. I'm almost sure that the guns we lost were replaced by new guns we were given, though most of them are now found in the box, meaning you have to try your luck for power. They put guns in multiple wall places so you could have access to ammo without having to traverse the map. We have almost as many separate wall weapons as there were in TranZit. I like Dead Shot, and Afterlife replaced Quick Revive, so my perks are Jug, Speed, DT, and DS. So that makes me feel like we're really fine. In summary, I think it seems like there's less of a choice because the size of the map, and us wanting a perk variety made them give us these perks that many may dislike. :D

That's awesome. If you could master the jumps, you could easily avoid getting trapped. Plus, that's insanely cool to watch. Zombies v. Parkour? Gimme moarmoarmoarmoar

Though I don't even use electric cherry, I'd still like to see it again just for song to be a remix of thrift shop

"Samantha's Lullaby" in Mob of the Dead | Secret 3rd Song EE
bagel_ replied to GRILL's topic in Mob of the Dead
I like CrimsonZombie's idea. Perhaps MotD has a specific influence on the end of the ultimate sidequest. For example, Continuing the cycle = no effect on the ending. The events at Alcatraz keep occurring over and over again, however, this cannot effect our storyline. It's really a paradox, and technically time doesn't pass this event, but it also does at the same time, because we still have the rest of the story with our mobsters trapped in time. Breaking the cycle (keeping Weasel) = Devil comes back. He wanted to break the cycle by keeping Weasel alive, so he must get something out of it, right? Not to mention Weasel will be on the devil's side now, considering he kept him alive. (Picture Weasel's voice all demonized.) And now, breaking the original cycle/undecided = Devil is out of the picture, because we've advanced through these events. It's just a showdown between both of the Maxises v. Richtofen. The events that occurred at Alcatraz no longer matter. In fact, the events that occurred during the cycles are completely erased from history. Our mobsters all died via stabs/electric chairs. Excellent job, Grill. I knew there must have be another song in there somewhere. :D -
LOOKING FOR TWO PLAYERS TO DO EASTER EGG'S AND ACHIEVEMENTS

Hi, welcome to the forum! If you're on Xbox, my GT is "Double XL Nug". I live in EST. Available in the morning or later at night. I'll add you and message you whenever. Adios. P.S. Don't put caps lock in your title. People will jump on your back about it :) -
As MMX said. That's why anyone can build the zombie shield, and you don't have to switch parts or anything like that. There are glitches with losing plane parts, though. If you bleed out on the gondola while it's moving, your part stays suspended in mid air, and it's very tricky to get :|
-
Great job, guys! Also, you could compare the GG bridge to the Sun, because the wings fell apart when Icarus flew too close, as per the plane hitting the bridge. Maybe he writing in the Warden's office has something to do with Greek mythology as well? Very nice connections. +1 mucho.

The cafeteria is by far the easiest place to train IMO. You can utilize the Acid Trap to your advantage, build the zombie shield right there in your area, and have a minimum number of edges to catch. As per ammo, you can bring your train outside and grab MP5 ammo, then run to the Remington ammo right downstairs in the showers, then you do a quick train here without shooting the hoard for ammo runs, and then return to the cafeteria. I find this best to run Solo. I've never tried it in Coop.

What is considered "High Rounds" on this forum?
bagel_ replied to TheBSZombie's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I say around 40+, at least with BO2. As soon as you hit around 20 in the new maps, you pretty much have everything done. All perks, both guns PaP'd, all doors open, all equipment built, and maybe even the places you will camp/train the rest of the game picked out. I see this as the beginning of the mid rounds. At around round 30, you will begin to get almost bored if playing alone. By 40, you're bored, and have played for a while. This is what I would call high rounds. You have to be generally good at Zombies to get here, and I doubt you got here by camping. Seeing as normally people's highest rounds are in the 30's to 40's around here, I'd say that's when the beginning of the end starts. -
could the new zombie maps be connected to the old ones?
bagel_ replied to Infected115's topic in Research & Development
I did a little research on this, and came across an article someone made on what happened. And now, a few little coincidences that sorta blow my mind. Remember this UFO? And maybe Shamballah the part of Agartha we'd be in. Even wilder, one of the entrances to Agartha is supposedly in Mount Shasta, CA. Guess where that is? I say search MotD for evidence of Agartha, from connections to the Nazis, Buddhists, or even Aztecs. You can see the Mainland from the GG Bridge. I'm gonna check it out. If you want to read more, check these: http://agartha.greyfalcon.us/agharta2.html http://humansarefree.com/2011/05/hollow-earth-agartha-complete.html -
This was what happened to me the first few times I played the map. Once you get a strategy down, you can just play everything safe and by the book and you're ok. Just know how to make the most of Afterlifes, where you can train safely before buying doors, and you should be good.
-
^^^Same with MMX. The tomahawk is already pretty powerful, and becomes overpowered when upgraded. Are grenades really a big deal when you have something safer and more powerful to use?

Hi Wally. Welcome to CoDz! I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay, and I'll see you around on ze topics!

Wait, there are NAVcard Tables there? Where?

Everytime I see Mictlan, all I can think of is: I don't think we should even bother assuming which form of the Devil it is. We know it's a devil with a fiery pooch, which is commonly shared between religions, one way or another. There's just a lot of evidence pointing towards Mictlan. We can all call him whatever we want. Can we leave it at that?
-
Even if we sat by the machine and listened after drinking, all you'd hear is that distorted static-y noise. If you listen to songs like the one from Speed Cola you can sort of make out parts of the perk jingle, but you can't really hear it. So sadly, we probably won't hear that jingle :|

The Best Elements of Zombie Mode
bagel_ replied to ZombicidalManiac's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Believe it or not, one of the things that really makes me love a Zombies map is the color scheme, and I'm sure I'm not alone. (Unless you are slightly epileptic.) Look back at Der Riese. The blueish-dark environment with the bright electricity and the yellow eyes actually complemented each other, and as you stated, a mix between horror and science fiction. Admit it: You wanted to watch the zombies get electrified by the Wunderwaffe, and watch the brilliant electric arcs flow from zombie to zombie. Then we have CotD: The same colors, and also a fan favorite. And now MotD. Everyone seems to love it once you get all the perquisites down, like opening the doors and such. I sort of disliked Die Rise because of the brighter colors. Being in the Buddha room felt like I was in a shadow, and the roof was just too bright. Think about other maps, too, like the outsides of Shangri La and even parts of Kino. The colors just aren't very appealing to the eye. It may seem stupid, but think about it. Advertisements do the color scheme tricks all the time, like the yellow and red McDonalds logo. People are attracted to what pleases their eyes, and I don't mean just women. ;) -
Yessir. I'd rather repair a barricade or use it on zombies then waste it, though.
-
That's not the exact same outcome, though. The ending screen text appears to let us know that something more could happen later with a broken cycle v. a continued cycle. With the continued cycle, they continue to spawn into Alcatraz, reliving the same day over and over again, unable to continue into the future. With a broken cycle, our story remains unfinished, with Weasel on the bridge, the others dead, and the zombies not attacking Weasel. He can now advance into the future, possibly with zombies at his aid. We'll see Weasel again if we choose to break the cycle IMO.
-
I've noticed it too. Like when Sal goes down near Billy, he occasionally yells "Billy? Where'd you go?" And there is also a lot more language/aggressive quotes when they're together. I also hear much more quotes on Original instead of Easy.
-
First off, welcome to the forum! I'd introduce yourself here, so people can get to know you. I can see the resemblance between the two. Maybe 3arch has an obsession with making the last two letters of the smart ones have the -on sound. Rictof(en) Marlt(on) Arlingt(on) However, I see it a little more as a coincidence. "Darling" seems to be his way of calling someone a sissy, and adding it into Marlton's name works well. MotD takes place years before the events is Green Run.

first time i put 115 in the voice said "not this time" the second time it said something i could not make out but was definitely different, going to try again seeing i did the ee and we had al kill us all Interesting. Very interesting... I'll do it a few times to see the different outcomes.
