  1. @JMDogg I know, I was about to make a thread on my iPhone, but this was up with 1 reply. It took me 15 minutes to make my reply uploading the images 1 by 1 on iPhone @DJDerp We have a storm on this map, with similar looking skies, too! Maybe we'll see a similar way to PaP. @Fated Thats the one I meant. I couldn't tell if it was a water tower or not. I've got bad eyes :)
  2. Dangit Flammen, you've just beaten me to this topic! Oh well, might as well as on. My guess is this will be the next tower we power. They show this view of the map for a steady 5 seconds. Note the bodies hanging from it. It appears to be the water tower from this image. Who will give the instructions this time? Let's not leave out everything about our new cast! Ray Liotta Chazz Palminteri Joe Pantoliano Michael Madsen I can't wait to play this.
  3. As the title says, what do you really need to get to the highest rounds? I recently saw under the thread that holds the legit world records (can't find it right now, sorry.) [Shooter's Old Thread] that these rounds are in the 100's-200's. Obviously you need to be skilled at the game to get it, with good guns, luck, a strategy, etc. But I've been wanting to really hit high rounds soon, so getting really deep into it, what do you really need? 1) How much time do you need? How should you butcher it? (rounds 1-50, 51-100, 101-150, etc?) 2) How far should you really go? (I see people's games reset/end because of glitches from the data brought from the high rounds.) 3) What specific guns should you use? (Talking about BO2.) 4) What strategy should you use? (Trains, map loops...?) 5) What steps should you take before trying to go for the really high rounds? (I mean 50+.) Thanks, bagel_
  4. Well back in WaW and Black Ops, we pretty much had that Halo-y with the whole demonic "INSTA-KILL!" and such. Richtofen's voice now is just... meh. However, I'd love to see your ideas on the new visuals and in-game performance tracker. I hate it when I leave a game to see I've down ranked even if I thought I had done ok. Plus, returning to No Man's Land after completing Moon had the visuals all neony and colorful. It was fantastic for slayin'.
  5. If you listen closely, you hear the music start to wind up as it would when you turn on the power, which also leaves a wobbling effect. I think it's just us being able to see it as the power hits the machine as the map finishes loading.
  6. You really cannot say we have easy maps. Would you consider camping in the sweatshop at Great Leap Forward easy? Or the labs at Five? Or the spawn at Shangri La...? There are just a few areas in the maps that we are allowed to take advantage of, as we should. If there were only SMRs in the box, I doubt anyone would want to play. The difficulty of the maps is perceived off of the way you play it.
  7. Excellent job on putting this all together guys. The only thing that bugs me about this is that whenever you start a game in Great Leap Forward, regardless of what you do, you will hear the voices go off shortly after Maxis finished speaking. Anytime after that I hear it while killing zombies. I just tested it on Easy and Original, twice for both, and heard it every time. I avoided the zombies, didn't get swiped, didn't fire my weapon, didn't buy anything, didn't sprint, crouch, go to prone, nothing except walk around. I waited a minute after that to see if it would come back, but it didn't.
  8. Yeah, I know what you mean. EJ basically put my exact thoughts. Though I doubt we will see much more variety in the wonderweapons. Everyone wants guns that they can abuse to get the high rounds with. That's why we had the Scavenger come with the VR-11. But this thread is about suggestions, not discussion. How about a gun that makes zombies implode one by one, but create a portal you can dolphin dive through when you kill one? It's not a powerful gun, but you can use it for easy escape. Perhaps upgraded it could take make a group of zombies be pulled together and then -- BOOM! Big ol' bloody implosion, leaving behind a portal that the human can jump through, but zombies are unaffected by. Of course it would come with another brand new overpowered wonderweapon in the map so there aren't any complaints
  9. I don't really recommend changing your button layout. Just do what you're used to doing and you'll be good. But, I would get used to playing on high sensitivity. Being able to turn around quickly will save your life many times.
  10. Treyarch is yet to release a zombie map with just wilderness. You could say Shi No Numa wasn't a spectacular location. It's a swamp, in the wild. Same with Shangri La: It's a jungle, in the wild. But both of those maps managed to fit in something cool, like the huts and the temples. I doubt they'd even be able to have any Easter Eggs if it was honestly just in the wilderness, with out any technology or man-made places to explore.
  11. I think Treyarch just decided to make it that way just so we could have a weapon that would stay effective for those who could break records on the leaderboards. They probably took it out of BO because it was way overpowered.

    New Navcard

Nah, the Great Leap Forward Navcard is the one we obtained at Green Run. I think this is just a glitch of the GLF one and the Green Run one being held at the same time.
  13. Oh, I thought it was tweeted or something. Sorry :)
  14. Welcome to CoDz! The medals are just for things you've achieved on the site or in-game, making your profile look purty. See ya around the forum!
  15. I've never seen it on Xbox. Probz just a glitch when you're playing online.
  16. One thing I think that should be taken into consideration is that CotD was in a Siberian 935 base, but it was not near a river. Maybe we shall see the return of our favorite zombie slayin' actors. They were in the 2nd DLC last time. Excluding the idea that that counts as going to Tunguska, and the world now covered in lava, I wonder what icy Siberia would look like now... Water map, anyone? Perhaps we shall see our CotD cast in a new location on scene at the Tunguska River, helping our N4 power a new tower. That's my spin on this. Edited.
  17. Welcome to the forum! A Zombie Trilogy Knock yourself out, friend! Be sure to introduce yourself in the Introductions section at the top of the dashboard!
  18. Supposedly, the new Zombies map name is going to be "Mob of the Dead." Considering George Romero's films were "Day of the Dead", and "Land of the Dead", and this DLC happens to be on the same one we saw the CotD cast, this wish may come true. One thing I want to see is our characters using humorous quotes. I get that now they're scared and it's supposed to be more realistic, but the dialogue is sort of annoying now. I miss Takeo's good old "You have unhappy ending!", Tank's unnecessary vulgar language, Nikolai's vodka obsession, and Richtofen screaming about "the FLESH!!!"
  19. If you're a noob at it, I'd get a shotgun with Double Tap, like the Remington located in the sweatshop building. Let the minions come to you, then shoot them as they get to your feet. Once you feel as though you know how they attack, (and as previously stated before,) I highly recommend getting the Bowie/Galveknuckles. If you're playing solo, I usually get on the Roof around the bottom of the radio tower. Crouch, and let the minions come to you. They'll usually do a flip over you and attack you from behind, or just stand directly in front of you. They take a solid second before they actually swipe at you. Take a good look at its face, and then stab those ugly thangs until you get your free perk 8-)
  20. I'd say Ascension was good, but not the best zombies map. It was great, considering it came with two new very helpful perks, but it had some things that to me were just... meh. For one, it's Easter Egg had such an awful prize, my friends and I were disgusted with our hours of work. It had some really nice places for running trains, and maybe I just played the 'ell outa it, but it seemed to get old to me. It was just a little too easy. I'd consider Ascension to be a great zombie map compared to others, (I sort of dislike many...) but nothing steps up to the bar Der Riese set. But, this is all coming from the person that considers Five to be one of the all time greatest maps
  21. Me and a few friends are having trouble doing the Shangri La sidequest, considering the trouble we have getting guns good enough to hold our own and perks. (Yes, I know, we're wayy late.) Does anyone have a good starting strategy for maximizing your advantage in the low rounds at Shangri La?
  22. Ahh I'm likin' this a lot. Which is a better four man strategy for higher rounds at Five? Camping or training? Where/how? Me and my friends have every map down on our own, but we've never been in the groove at Five.
  23. I was doing CotD EE with a few of my friends. We were on the second to last step, shooting a zombie with the VR-11 and killing him before he goes up the green light into the portal. We only had one crawler, so when we turned him, the round was over. As we scrambled up the spiral staircase in the lighthouse, zombies started to swarm us from all directions. We managed to kill the guy, but I was out of ammo from shooting him, so I booked it down the staircase to get the Golden Rod and finish it. I thought my friends were right behind me when I see: Friend1 needs to be revived. Friend2 needs to be revived. Friend3 needs to be revived. All in quick succession. They got triple sandwiched. I grabbed the Golden Rod, and like a fool, ran to try to finish the EE with a hoard chasing me. I thought it'd be epic to just get the Wunderwaffe, wreck 'em all, and clutch like a pro. I put the Golden Rod into the tube that delivers it to the characters, and waited for the Wunderwaffe drop. At this point, my friends are screaming at me that I still need to knife the fuse to finish our two hours of work. The hoard ran into my room, and I panicked. I ran up the stairs just to be cut off by George Romero in the doorway that leads to the stairs. I turned to run into the door next to PhD Flopper, but saw another train sprinting at me from there. That was the end of that. We ended up getting it the next day, but seriously, my friends wanted to kill me.
  24. Why? If I remember correctly, when doing the Maxis partition of the EE you only need EMPs to kill the Avogadro under the tower, which dies in one EMP. Why do two people need EMPs? O whoops mixin up Richtofen's side. You only need 1 :D
