Holy crap! Those are some sick emblems, man. The 935 one is pretty much perfect, also. You should make tutorial vids.

How did you find out about Zombies Mode?
bagel_ replied to Fluorescent's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I got into zombies in the late WaW days, where Der Riese had just been released, and all my friends were talking about how awesome it was. Played the dukey out of it, and actually thought there was a way you could win the game. Ended up making it to the mid thirties with my brother until one day I stumbled across the radio in the spawn... Soon enough I figured there was something more to the game. Found the radio near the furnace next, then the one near Double Tap, and then the one near the teleporter in the Bowie Knife building. My brother and I thought we had made the greatest discovery in the history of all video games, and were about to make a YouTube channel for it, until we learned how late we were. Bought SNN and Verruckt, and started watching about all the easter eggs on YouTube. Not too long ago I was watching an NGTzombies video, where he mentioned CoDz, and actually a post by PINNAZ specifically, which brought me here. You guys would be surprised how much better hearing the opinions of everyone then just one person on the other end of a YouTube video. -
Although I do agree that there is a possibility that we get Atlantis as a zombie map, I do find it hard to believe because the amount of double meaning evidence we have collected about it. Firstly, the Nova Zombie's feet have stayed the same sense Kino der Toten, and I don't see why we are just now in Black Ops 2 getting more supposed evidence about it. Even though Atlantis would make for an EPIC map, I don't see why Treyarch would hold off so long on it. Though they could go the other way on it, I don't think that would end up being the case. As for Samuel's direct quote, it could be a hint at it actually being a map over his usual nonsense conspiracy theories, but it also might not. We have quotes from the Bus Driver talking of random places, like the HARRP Research station, Hawaii, Mount Weather, etc. Though people argue that he's just a broken malfunctioning machine, who's to say that Samuel's brain isn't one either. But we never know until we actually have the map. Also, I've been waiting for someone to mention the life preserver on the machine as well as the bubbles. Though it could be a direct clue at a water map, I've always seen it as an actual life saver. Keep in mind the machine pretty much resurrects you from a dyeing body, thus "preserving" your life, and the bubbles add to the joke. (Ahh, Treyarch and their jokes.) Again, another thing that could go just as much your way as it could mine. :| Finally, I actually 100% agree with you about the hint on the bottom left of the page. I see that as a valve on almost a compressor-box area of it. The thing is, there are a few things we could find a valve on. This one is found during the Shangri La easter egg, and contains pressurized gas in it. I don't mean to be the guy on here denying any piece of possible evidence for Atlantis. Over the past few weeks I've actually grown to want it more than a different map. It would be a cool map to see. Good job on putting that all together though! @MMN Hmm, this actually got me to think for a little... All the bedding we see around the map as well as the cages could've been used to contain the Jumping Jacks. Perhaps there was a Chinese group working with 115 and testing on them as well as our guys on Moon? That would explain the 115 in the Sliquifier, and as InfestLithium stated before, the purple sludge that comes out of it seems to look like the effect we see on them.

Yeah, I see this all the time when you kill a zombie and he falls on top of an elevator. When it goes down, he'll stay floating.

I'd like to add one more thing to this. If when we activate the eclipse, we only go back in time, then we must still be near Area 51, correct? Well, considering Brock and Gary had '90's styled radios, and there was only one almost full solar eclipse above entire United States in the 90's. (excluding Hawaii and Alaska.) This occurred on May 10, 1994, between 2:12 PM and 8:10 PM UTC, or the time zone for Area 51. Now, looking back at the in-game eclipse, it was near the maximum eclipse range. This means that the actual time we would travel back to would be between 3:20-5:13 PM UTC, giving us the exact time where we travelled back to. Naturally, I researched the date to see if it was of any significance, but the only thing that appeared to be of actual importance was Nelson Mendela's inauguration to be South Africa's first black president. (Darn, I was hoping for something to do with meteor/focusing crystal crashes.) The only question I have out of this is why two British explorers were near Area 51 in the U.S. Maybe they were in it while it actually moved? Seems stretched, but we don't know too much about those two, nor how the temple moves, so who knows. Maybe they were spies? Whatever the option is, the possibilities branch directly off of two things. Either: 1) The temple travelled back through time and space. - We know the time period was the 1990's. 2) The temple travelled back in time. - Agreeing with your theory, we know it occurred on May 10, 1994 between 3:20-5:13 PM UTC.

Hmm. Very cool. I guess I'm going to have to head back and play some TranZit. And yet another thing showing we probably will return in the end. Gimme that last NAVcard already, Treyarch!
-
How did something like this go unreplied? I love it. This is by far the best way I've seen someone incorporate all the zombie maps into one campaign. I the idea of returning to the spawn free roam area, and then from there choosing what to do next. Maybe there could also be challenges you can try to accomplish in the spawn, like getting this many kills, or discovering easter eggs in houses and such. Nice job, Mocking Me.

Hi, So recently, I've been thinking about how everyone is predicting the future zombies maps directly off of hints and possible storyline intentions. But I've come to the realization that there's one more simple way to figure some of this out; New Gamemodes! But before I can get into that, we need to do a brief history lesson. (We all know it, just bare with me. I'm trying to make a point.) History Class It's boring. Our original map that came with Black Ops 2 wasn't your typical survival map. It was massive. So massive, that they had to create a way for us to get around, thus, the birth of the Bus Driver. Now, in light of this not being just a simple buy doors + turn on power, this was one of a kind. So, they created the gamemode TranZit. (get the pun?) Instead of zombies being your only danger, you had to worry about the fog between bus stops, as well as the denizens, making you feel the need to stay with the bus. One way you could conquer this challenge was by teleporting, but it came with it's risks. For example, you could be teleported to the middle of no where. This is the single line that keeps TranZit unique, and really not able to be repeated. Also, you could use the new buildables feature to craft special objects, like the zombie shield, turbine, or new wonder weapon. Our next DLC featured another new map, which was again not your typical survival map. It was tall and dangerous. So tall and dangerous, they had to create a method of getting around. Thus, the birth of jumping between buildings. Again, in light of this not being just a simple buy doors + turn on power, this was one of a kind. So, they created the gamemode Die Rise. (get the pun?) Instead of zombies being your own danger, you had to worry about falling off the sides of the buildings/verticality. One way you could conquer this challenge was by using the buildable Tramplesteam, but it came with it's own risks. For example, you could line it up wrong, and fall to your death. This is the single line that keeps Die Rise unique, and really not able to be repeated. You could use the new buildables feature to craft special Tramplesteam and the new wonder weapon. Now, hopefully I haven't bored you to death here. But, now I can share my purpose for being so repetitive. There just so happens to be a huge trend among these maps. (No way, bagel_! Have a cookie!) Each features a new danger besides the zombies, and some risky ways to overcome it. They then put a punny name for the gamemode. But these gamemodes do not repeat. So sadly, we probably won't see much more of T.E.D.D., not in a bus, not in a helicopter, not in a wagon. Nor will we see cross-building dangers and the Tramplesteam. Our future zombies maps will contain completely unique gamemodes that apply to the environment of the map. Ok, cool. Well, what does this all add up to? Well, I for one see it as an opportunity to see what we might have to come. We now know we won't have a gamemode huge bus route around a spread out community, nor will we be in a falling apart skyscraper. So, I want to hear what you guys can create! I've come up with one already: Firefight A map placed in an underground forest in Agartha, unaffected by the missiles, still filled with leaves and plant life. While zombies attack you, a boss zombie roams the map slowly, and when you are in it's range, shooting fireballs at you, (Get it? You're in a Firefight. Like with shooting and stuff? Haa.) lighting you on fire as well as obstructing paths around the map by making impenetrable forest fires. You can get through them as well as attack the flame zombie by using a new buildable fire extinguisher, which clears your path through the map and can be used to stun the fire zombie for a while. (Get it? You're a FIREFIGHTER. I know, comedy gold.) On the downside, you move slowly holding it, and it's almost useless against normal zombies. The Winter's Howl makes a reappearance here as a buildable, and works just as well as the extinguisher. So? What do you guys think? I want to hear new gamemodes as well as comments/rebuttals! -bagel_ *Thanks to InfestLithium and Stop mocking me0 for giving me this idea from one of my earlier threads. :D

Wasn't Der Riese the place that Richtofen, Maxis, and all of Group 935 do their experiments?
-
First off, welcome to the forum! Secondly, I haven't really heard of things like that on TranZit before. Could you be a little more specific on what you mean? (for example, the circumstance you heard it, what was the quote, was it the Driver's normal voice, etc.) I've listened to the Bus Driver audio quotes, yet I've never heard them before. I haven't been playing much TranZit, though.
-
Thank you for pointing that out, PINNAZ. I haven't seen that before. Have you, or anyone else, for that matter, seen any other cars around the old BO maps that have matching textures to those of the destroyed cars in BO2? If one has a matching the PM12-2359 license plate or the Am0000-1159 plate then we may just be on a wild goose chase here.:| As for it being reused or not, I'm not sure. There either could be something big they wanted us to see or something small, considering we had to no-clip to see it. Also, good job Gintama. I would like to point out that your third pylon location is slightly off. It is found a little past the Shack. I've slightly modified your map to show how the appear on the road. Notice how the pylons appear to remain on the side of the map excluding the Bus Depot and Diner, creating a loop around the Obelisk. Very interesting... When you get the opportunity, could you add in the license plate locations? I am stuill yet to see where they are.

One little thing I'd like to point out. The Call of the Dead map is based off of the campaign mission where you play as Reznov way back when, where you watch Dimitri, our WaW Russian character, killed by Nova-6 gas. We had Germans, whom had a few zombie maps, Soviets, whom we had a zombie map after, and the British, who where just kind of there and never got a zombie map. The ship you travel through seems very mysterious, and belongs to the Nazis. At the ending cutscene of CotD, we have George Romero say that he was doing research on some old WWII movies, where he came across some Nazi documents regarding 115. Keep in mind the battle that takes place in the campaign mission was a WWII battle, one of the final ones. He then states that some of those events occurred right where he was. I've always been at the assumption that the place found the documents was the old Nazi ship where the campaign mission occurs, which would mean the British as well as the Soviets could easily of had access to the documents as well. This would mean they knew about the 115 and probably wanted to get their hands on it. There's all this little stuff with the British and zombies they never went into that I think they should've, and now, perhaps they might.

Whoaa, watch out man. Please don't directly insult someone on here, all it'll do is spark a fight, and it's a type of flaming. Just be generous and we can tell them to just look over the other topic.

Wow. Posts like these really make me wonder. So, basically, he sort of killed himself by the missiles hitting Earth? Very cool theory. Really makes me think... I love it. Seriously nice work.

The Soviets and Americans were working together.
bagel_ replied to TheMadHatter's topic in Black Ops
Oh, I gotcha Infest, and you don't come off that way at all. I'm all ears to all thoughts, especially when I may be incorrect. I've just been thinking of the possibility that Maxis acquired these rockets to use them to destroy the Earth, lowering Richtofen's power, and with Maxis dead and Samantha in the Aether, she'd help acquire the rockets listening to his AI, setting everything up for her daddy. But looking back on it, the "5" in the 115 shadow doesn't exactly line up on the shadow, which I overlooked. So it looks as though you are correct, and it is purely coincidental. It did seem like it was a perfect hint, the exactly three rockets being in the same panel and the other shadow lining up. While they could be the rockets, the shadows don't provide enough evidence, unless Mad Hatter has something we haven't gone over yet. Thanks for the input, Infest! -
The Soviets and Americans were working together.
bagel_ replied to TheMadHatter's topic in Black Ops
As MadHatter just said, (beat me to it ,) and, what about the transportation of our characters directly into a receiving bay in a Moon Base? We've got teleporters and Gersch Devices already moving us as it is. I can accept the idea that the rockets got there via one of these methods. The reason I find this is because of something I saw on a forum thread a little while ago. (I couldn't find it, so I'll just redo what he had done. Apologies to whoever found this.) The Ascension and Moon shadows line up perfectly. I find that to be a pretty big hint. -
The Soviets and Americans were working together.
bagel_ replied to TheMadHatter's topic in Black Ops
Great work, but you are slightly off on a few things here which can disrupt your theory. Griffin Station, the Moon Base, is actually 100% German made. (Frgive me if you know the backstory I'm about to share.) Richtofen found the black pyramid, called the MPD, on the Moon via teleportation, and touched it, which caused him to hear voices in his head. He, with other scientists that were part of Group 935, built a station around it to get to it. The zombies on the Moon are actually dead prisoners killed by some of the Scientists assisting Richtofen, sacrificing their lives to fill up the capsules next to the MPD, which has a connection to the Aether and can give you control over the zombies. When Richtofen found Maxis was no longer needed, he trapped him in a room with his daughter and zombified Fluffy, and in a panic, used the teleporter. Sam ended up in Griffin Station, and scared, ran to the MPD, where she got control over the zombies. Now, as for the wonderweapons in the Pentagon. The U.S. raided Der Reise sometime after it was overrun and we had left, and took the notes from their labs to the U.S. In the same room as the wonderweapons, there is a chalkboard identical to one in Der Reise. America also had a supply of element 115 in Area 51, and used it to create the weapons. The Pentagon Thief is a lot like Clark, but maybe his body was recovered from Kowloon to see if he tested on himself, was found to be tested on with 115, and reanimated as this special zombie? The campaign's Thunder Gun actually did belong to him. You were right about the rockets on Moon being Soviet, though. See the three rockets in the second panel? Those are your moon rockets, filled with 115, shown by the shadow behind them. So, with the Soviets helping the Germans, and us raiding their base, we could've found the Thunder Gun design there. -
I've seen it before doing EE, just a glitch. Please add periods in your future threads, though. A little hard to read, that's all. :)
-
Wait a second. You know how either Jug or Speed Cola gets zapped in then floats down out of the sky every time you spawn back in Area 51? It has literally the exact same look as the Shangri La loading screen lightning bolts hitting the ground, as well as the ones we see as the hellhounds spawning in. Though they're not in the exact dimensions of the temple, we see the other stuff getting sucked up too. What happened to these other ones? Bringing the one in space into consideration, maybe to other places? Perhaps the Perk machines travelled elsewhere and Sam zapped them to us.
-
I thought ESRB didn't allow the whole Nazi part of zombies, and that's why it was changed to just normal zombies?

Die Rise Minion Round Glitch - This needs to be fixed!
bagel_ replied to faction935's topic in Die Rise
I've seen this glitch almost every time I've played, but eventually it always manages to get up on the roof. -
Good point, but this would pertain only to Die Rise. TranZit is found under Bus Depot, and we most certainly don't call it "Bus Depot."

Nice. This really helps. From that picture, I've narrowed it down to valve or pulley. But one thing no one has brought to the table, perhaps part of James Watt's Steam Engine from Jimmy's bio. See the wheel? Originally created inefficiently by Thomas Savery as a water vacuum, this engine played a large part in England's Industrial Revolution occurring in the late 1770's, used to drain mines so miners could potentially dig. It would pull up the water, heat it to steam, and then the cave would be emptied. (mostly.) If you look at this next picture, you'll see a big roundish thing on the top right gives a better example resembling the thing in the picture: (sorry for link. Picture is huge, couldn't work spoilers.) More pics: ^The model used by Thomas Newcomen, who came up with the potential use in mines, which he tested on. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/5c/Watt_steam_pumping_engine.JPG ^The basic components of his engine. ^One of the real life used engines in England. If this were an actual hint, maybe we'll see a map in England going through mines? I personally think that'd be too obvious, but I felt like I needed to keep you all informed. Ahh very nice find and research! I've been waiting for something like this to post something I noticed pertaining to the clock. So, around the map, there are exactly three fallen pylons over the road. Number 1: Between Diner and Farm You can find this right after passing the shortcut to town. Goes from the left side of the road to the right. Number Two: At the Power Stop This guy falls more diagonally on the road from the left to the right, obviously into the building. Number Three: Between the Power Stop and Town This last one falls from the right side of the road to the left side, also a little diagonally in the same direction as the power. Now, what would three straight objects be doing on a clock? Hmm... Maybe each of these pylons corresponds to the second, minute, and hour hands on the clock! Perhaps there is more to the map to be seen? Also, if you know, do you mind pointing out where these license plates are located? *All pics have creds to a BlackOpsAmazing TranZit Tour video. I have no capture card, and this video has no-fog theater mode via glitch. Though I know we aren't very big on glitchers, it's a very helpful reference for those like me. Link is here:

TRANZIT - Is It a Clock & Tie in To Nuketown (Theory)
bagel_ replied to nockscitney's topic in TranZit
Err, I hope I'm understanding you correctly when I reply to this. Ok, so I'm not too sure about the backwards in time theory. I get the bus going backwards, but you can be in the fallout bunker yard while you here the horn, and you don't see any wild Marltons appearing and scrambling to get into it. The clock has a direct correlation to the number of kills you get, lowering the population, not time. That's how we could find that, if you have fifteen zombies left on the Nuketown population counter sign, and have "1 o' clock" on the clock, (also, keep in mind the numbers are on the other side of the clock,) we can activate the third song easter egg. Get it? 115? Haaa Treyarch. Anyway, about Tranzit being a clock. I think you are pretty right if you're meaning to include the other thread as part of your theory. I haven't posted it on the other thread yet, and I probably will in a few minutes with more detail, but there are exactly three fallen pylons going over the road. One on the way from Diner to Farm, one at the power station, and one on the way from power to Town. I find these to be second, minute, and hour hands. Has anyone else noticed this?
