Like the everyone else, I'm not too on with the suicide thing. But yeah, watching Russman just get torn apart made me go "Awwwww I liked that guy." As for the final DLC, I highly doubt it. At least, not for the main gamemode. I can see them releasing a game mode like Greif featuring them, but the main map would probably be too big or laggy for it. That's why we never saw Greif on GLF.

Infest, excellent point, and I agree with you 100%. I always liked the challenges TranZit presented. Unfortunately, the challenges are in most effect at the beginning of a match, which seemed as an annoyance more than a fun new game mode. Geez, every time I see a post by someone like you or PINNAZ I end up going right in your direction. Mocking Me, you bring good points as well. I'm actually just now realizing (derrpp) from you and Infest that we can make more accurate future zombie predictions based on possible new game modes they'd give. Para exemplar, a map that revolves around you surviving specific factors, like dodging volcanic lava coming down or avoiding specific parts of a map. Looking back, we had our earliest example with CotD, avoiding and trying not to shoot the boss zombie until you had enough fire power. So yes, it is defiantly safe to say we won't have another driver taking us places. Adios, T.E.D.D.!

@InfestLithium Yes, they are probably collared shirts. I really wasn't serious about the turtleneck part, but I do agree with you fully, actually. If it were Gersch, it would be overly obvious if we had the goggles/glasses in there too, considering we hadn't seen any eyewear besides him and George Romero until BO2, but I do think that we are looking at a scientist. As per more of Gersch's getup, I think this zombie model looks a bit like what he's wearing: (you may need to zoom the loading screen pic to see the shirt go over the pants clearer in the far right panel.) And while we're on the subject of the Portraits, let's not leave out the ones at Five. Aren't they there because the Americans knew who were in the portraits, being Richtofen and presumably Maxis, from the research they had found at Der Riese? I'm not too clear on Five's part of the storyline, with the wonder weapons being there and all, but if we know, doesn't it answer our question on who it is from the start? From that point, we could also assume that the ripped out comic book shape is supposed to be something to do with Maxis, right? Well, there's never a way to be completely sure.

Tranzit catalogues hints to upcoming maps?
bagel_ replied to vLEWISx's topic in Research & Development
Weren't the pictures in the bar real-life pictures of the Tower of Babel? -
Uh, guys, I'd like to point out something. Looks like Gersch and Blank Picture guy share a love of turtlenecks. Funny, but really, if only he had the glasses...

Now that is pretty cool. With all the money Treyarch has, they could've easily had that put in. They even signed it with the 3. Nice find, man.
-
Wow. That is all very plausible, considering we were not teleported to Area 51. If we were, we would've seen the teleport-like intro that we have on Shangri La, and we had to of gotten there somehow, right? (And I really was wondering how we got from the Himalayas to Area 51.) I had always thought the PaP wobble was just some glitch because we were watching it spawn in, but this really changed my mind on it. Nice job, GRILL.

Pretty much what he just said ^^^. And yea, I'm the same w/ my friends. Add me if on Xbox: xPORKxM0NST3Rx -- the second "O" is a zero. Also would like to do Moon if you've got it. I'm good to go this weekend.

Uh, guys, aren't we forgetting the missile launched in Ascension was launched during the events of Five? I mean, if we do stick by history, the lowest DEFCON ever achieved was DEFCON 2, never actually at 1. We were in a Soviet Cosmodome when the missiles were launched, giving further evidence of Nuclear War. So, considering this supposedly happened during the Cold War, it was safe for Kennedy to say that we were at Nuclear War. Not to mention our somewhat ignorant O4 launched the rocket simply to gain access to the PaP. You can destroy the rocket in mid air at Ascension, and forgive me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure we can use this to confirm that we actually did destroy it in the storyline, considering it never hit America as far as we know, and Nuclear War didn't happen. Now, is it possible that they turned it to 1 from the zombie attack? It's possible, but that isn't really the purpose of the DEFCON Levels.

Have you tested this or is this just a theory your throwing out there?

I'd like to point out that the events happening after Moon would logically take place in a small time period. If the world is in pieces, wouldn't they begin to drift apart in space after a pretty short amount of time?

Really nice find, man! I hadn't noticed it! Maybe after all the NAVcards are released and one powers the Green Run tower, we will be able to complete the EE, which requires us to visit that train area? And maybe the Bio-chemical aboard the train was element 115? All around nice work!

Wow. Everything on here is perfect and accurate. I agree 100%. Keep it up man!

So recently, me and my friends were playing Die Rise, when one of my less skilled friends didn't make the jump from the Buddha room to the next building. He landed on one of those little ledges that stick out, just under the kill barrier, and lost his part right there. The part didn't respond, it just sat there on the ledge out of the map. The same thing happened again today when he landed on a ledge from the roof back to the Trample Steam build-room. (I know, he's pretty bad.) He lost us the compressor the first time then the crate/launcher platform the second time, making it impossible to finish the build. Just wanted to point out a little bug I keep encountering, wondering if I'm the only one.

Does anyone have REAL evidence for Atlantis?
bagel_ replied to bagel_'s topic in Research & Development
Ya, I know, but following the zombies storyline, they were created in Kino der Toten, hence the little barrels with bodies in them on the stage. Hands have been this way sense their creation, and I wouldn't really call those webbed. I do believe they are mutating though. From nova to teleporting to teleporting and jumping. Who knows how they'll eventually end up? It'd be cool to see them extremely deadly. Picture a giant one of those guys terrorizing a city. I like. EDIT: Now, is it possible that 935 got some DNA Samples of the crawlers or something like it from Atlantis? Yes, but as of now we don't have enough proof to show it. -

Thanks guys, all of this actually makes sense. Keep the research comin'! -

Now this^^^ is a much better theory then other things I've heard on here. I'd think Treyarch would get our feelings on the towers, not to mention the thing Maxis refers to as the TRIchotomus system, and talks of powering other towers. Now, it would make sense for the artic to change that way, but still, the whole concept of an underwater city feels just too far fetched for me. Shangri La being on Mars was hard enough for me to absorb... Also, not really pertaining to the topic, but now that you bring up Samuel's past, I've got to get this by. Samuel has quotes in Tranzit saying he knows about Marlton's supposedly "conspiracy-ful" past. With all the guys in the Flesh at Jackass Flats, is it possible Samuel is connected to them? It'd explain why he thinks he knows what Marlton's all about. NOW. BACK TO ATLANTIS. I think that you might be pretty on with the ATL theory. The artic part makes sense, but there's been no pointers besides Samuel's quotes to show it. For example, just because Marlton knows about Fission/Fusion doesn't mean we're going to have a power plant map. I don't mean that to come across as an insult to you, by the way. In fact I kind of like how you put that all together. Good work. It was actually a really good read. -
Yes, doing poorly in games will cause you to love your rank. As far as this "fact" about being deranked by not playing... well, I didn't play for over a week and lost nothing but the tallies indicating consecutive days played. It was only after I played for a few days and went down a lot that I got deranked. This is what I'm talking about... everyone stating "facts" when nobody knows for sure how the system works. The tallies (or "slashes", as you call them) are not the same as rank. Rank is indicated by the emblem next to your name (bones, skull, skull with knife, skull with shotgun), while the tallies only indicate play frequency, and with 5 tallies your skull will get glowing eyes, showing you play a lot of Zombies (tallies are pretty much the only part of the system the community has been able to figure out with some degree of certainty). The tallies will be lost if you do not play every day, but in my experience rank is not lost unless you play poorly. Also, Jimmy's tweet about "Commitment" didn't say anything about rank at all. He could have been talking about learning how to bake cookies for all we know. Everything he posts is so completely vague and cryptic there's no way we can say for sure what he was referring to. True, and forgive me if I'm wrong, but don't you need to have the blue eyes to rank up from one thing to the next?
-
When and where exactly did it occur? If he was in a window, and you just so happened to get a carpenter a little earlier, it may've been that. Try to see if you still have the theatre footage for it.

I can't tell if this is serious or not. Really dude? Pretty sure if everyone is telling you your doing something wrong, you're probably doing it wrong. I honestly have no idea what you were trying to say. All I got was max out bank and one bus.

Hi all, I don't mean to have this come around as a rage thread for me, but can someone please give me some serious reasons why Atlantis would be an upcoming zombie map? Everytime I see a post on how Atlantis is coming, I think it's ridiculous for a few reasons. 1) What hints have we been receiving to show why it would be a new map? 2) If our tower trend continues, what kind of a tower would be at the bottom of the ocean? 3) With all the water in Green Run becoming lava, what will have become of the ocean? I just hope to gather enough evidence/get rid of fake evidence to get a serious idea on if there's a real possibility of it being a map.
-
Yeah, the nova crawler's figure is almost the same as the BO1's original figure. And following the zombies storyline, they were created at Kino der Toten, you know, in those barrel thingys on the stage. I don't intend to harass, but every time I see someone mention Atlantis on hear, I die a little inside. 1) Why would there be a zombie horde under the ocean? 2) If the trend continues, what tower would we need to power down there? 3) What do you expect the ocean to be if all the water at Tranzit is lava?

The Real Reason Richtofen Talks To Samuel
bagel_ replied to Taklok's topic in General Zombies Discussion
The one you put back at Taklok, refer back a few replies. He covered the "attempt" at getting into their heads in a pretty good way, and I don't think anyone would want to re-explain something as complicated as that. And yes, either of us could be right. Right now, we don't have enough evidence to prove too much. Keep the theories coming man! -
Nice job man! Keep it up!
