  1. Ya, though I do have one idea. Treyarch has made choosing sides an objective, and I think to make whatever automatically happens in the map has to agree with both sides at the same time, and the only way to do that was perspective. I've been thinking that the beastly voice they gave Richtofen is both him gaining and losing power, based on perspective. If you powered Green Runs tower for Maxis, then Richtofen assumedly lost some power. So, the voice changed from that perspective to sounds almost like the Der Reise opening quote from the intercom. On the contrary, if you powered it for Richtofen, then we hear his voice become beastly, now almost inhuman, like he's become something much more powerful. They have to appeal to both crowds somehow, but if Maxis' towers don't count until the end, then my idea is trash. So much conspiracy and so many hidden motives. The zombies storyline is better then any mystery novel you'll ever read.
  2. As cool as it would be to get an 8P megamap, I doubt we'll be getting it. You know how in multiplayer, you can't have like 5 choppers in the sky at once? That's because with they amount of players running around killing each other and the AIs up there doing their thing creates a lot of data. It'd be crazy laggy to have all of that going to every persons' Xbox. All the zombies in Greif are laggy enough, but a full scale map big enough to hide secrets and EEs also? Not too sure. I do think that the O4 will be affiliated with Maxis in the end somehow, though. Samantha still loves her daddy, and she might as well stick with the O4 (Ehrm, 3, if you ignore Richtofen's body) sense she's fighting a horde with them, and would give Maxis a reason not to have them dead. Also, I can see Treyarch releasing a big map with sections you can choose to play survival or Greif at in the end. Notice how at the Die Rise loading screen, it only has one portion called Skyscraper. When I saw it I half expected there to be another area you can choose, like "Ground" or something. They definitely could make more sectional maps. This would satisfy the community's wants at least a little, and do something that isn't bugged out of it's mind.
  3. I pretty much agree with most of this actually, although i'm not too sure on the last part. This is mainly because I believe that from TranZit onwards Richtofen is becoming weaker (especially if Maxis is being helped) and I don't think he'll have the power to continuously respawn the survivors. However, as you rightly pointed out, we don't know the extent of his powers so we can't really judge whether or not this ability consumes much/ any of his power. I don't mean to be jumping on everyone's backs, but Samuel is (as far as we currently know) only hearing Richtofen in his head. The demonic, beastly voice is still Richtofen. I've got a video of the cutscene for proof: Skip to about 1:25, and listen. You'll hear the beastly, distorted voice say "Accept your fate. Begin anew!" then shortly after repeat itself, but slip into Richtofen's voice. Now, is there a possibility that he still is hearing other voices outside of the ones he hears in GLF while you play as him and in the cutscene? Yes, but we have no way of knowing yet. It would be a cool twist to have another thing in there too, like some god of the Vril-ya.
  4. That is a really good point. I was only thinking of the whole quote he gave on Tranzit: and the radio transmissions we hear at Die Rise, talking about how if someone close to you was experiencing symptoms like memory loss and such was a hint from Treyarch that Samuel was getting slightly infected, and the group would eventually notice it. But that appears to be for all of them with the whole let-yourself-die-then-memory-wipe from Richtofen. I thought wouldn't have a connection as a memory problem, but a just a deja-vu of being there before. Maybe it will come to them doubting themselves later, because Richtofen is making them have some of those symptoms. I just find it so stupid that Treyarch had involved eating zombie flesh in the storyline, but it doesn't really have an effect on anything, but you've definitely proven me wrong. Thanks for getting me on the right path man!
  5. I like both the theories you've got, especially the one on Gersch. We don't know what the Casmir Mechanism did for him. Let's not forget what Sam says in the Moon EE: Samantha: Maybe we helped him become something more... Maybe he has become a god of the Vril-Ya?
  6. You're right about the O4. It did erase their memories, but is Stu not having short-term memory problems as well? I'll get into the other effects later. Richtofen is not necessarily an ultimate being. He's in control of the MPD, which as far as we know, is a device that directly puts a soul in the Aether, and from that portion of it connects to the 115 and has the ability to control it. My point with the situation at Jackass Flats is that their civil war started because Richtofen was only in some of their heads, and everyone that heard him sided with him. If only the people that heard him sided with him, why didn't he just go into everyone's heads and directly get them to do his tasks? Richtofen has power, but not all the power in the world. This happened before or while Stu was contacted by Richtofen. Let's reference the quote we hear when we Richtofen contact Stu on Tranzit when we get the power on: Proof enough that he tried to get into the New Crew's heads, but failed, also proving he can't just do whatever he wants. He can only be in connection with one who has somehow gotten that much 115, and while you are living, it's side effects can result in being like the original 4. Keep in mind they could all hear Sam while she was in the MPD. Also, we do not know what tests were put on the O4. I'm assuming that they were directly tested on, because it agrees with my theory. Stu and the members of The Flesh are getting their doses of 115 secondhandedly, not coming in direct contact with the element, but with the cells it has effected. And sense it doesn't go into the bloodstream, they aren't infected. They just have managed to get in close enough contact with the element to get a few effects, like the want of more Flesh and the ability to come in contact with the MPD host. My main point is that Richtofen isn't really a god. Right now, he's just a ruler of a type of army that is currently conquering. More like a king, really. I don't mean to come across as I'm-right-you're-wrong, but I do love a good debate :)
  7. I know for a fact you lose rank off of consecutive days you haven't played. Jimmy hinted a while ago that you need to be "committed" to achieve high rank. Last week, I played Sunday with the Skull w/ blue eyes. On Thursday, when I went to play again, I only had two slashes, which I assumed meant I lost a slash per day I didn't play.
  8. I know, right? *sigh* I've just been sick of having to re-explain it so many times.
  9. Ehh, I think you only have half of it down. I think the only reason Stewie is hearing the voices is because of The Flesh. There IS something special with him. Let's think back to the guys at Jackass Flats, right outside Nuketown. Those who were following Richtofen heard him, and were doing it for "The Flesh," where a person eats zombie flesh for either cannibalism or to get 115 in their system, making them more of a half/hybrid zombie. Everyone else had no idea what "The Flesh" was, and was following Maxis, unknowing of what this voice the others were hearing. If Richtofen could get into all their heads, he probably would've. But sense they were split, they got into a fight. Now, keep in mind we know from the breakdown of the cutscene that Stu defiantly is part of the Flesh. We know about the Flesh from a ton of in-game radios and audio quotes. So, the zombies, resurrected and controllable by 115, are controlled by Richtofen, and if Sammy has 115 in him too, would it not make sense for him to be the only one who can at least hear hear him, let alone be controlled? Otherwise, wouldn't it have been easier for Richtofen to just tell them all what to do or have them face death? I doubt he wouldn't have taken the risk of what happened at Jackass Flats again on the new crew if he had to, but sense Stu is the only one who ate the flesh, Richtofen has to take the risk. Sense he is already threatened by the zombies, Richtofen needs something else important with Stu to keep him going. And that would be his partners! How do you think a guy like him would function with no one but his cannibalistic self hearing clashing voices in his head, but not a single actual person to help? So yes, he's keeping him blackmailed in, but I think that's just part of it.
  10. You'd be surprised that it's probably the other way around. After you power up the tower for Richtofen, he talks about how you are going to be the hero of humanity, and that "The Flesh" will cover the Earth, meaning people like Samuel that can hear Richtofen and eat zombie flesh for the 115. I think Richtofen will pull the world back together, whereas Maxis will use the towers to take out everything that has 115 in it's system, and 115 itself, ending the zombies, The Flesh, (sadly including good ol' Stu,) and Richtofen's power. Maybe the Obelisks are pieces of a Wunderwaffe DG4? That for Maxis, and pieces of a VR-11 for Richtofen.
  11. The right spot to put this would be under Teammate Finder towards the top of the Board index. I'd be willing to help sometime this weekend if on Xbox. GT: xPORKxM0NST3Rx (the second "O" is a zero.)
  12. I've always thought of it as us being abandoned by someone. Like someone who was watching us getting up and giving up, locking up the room behind him. Though I reallyyy like that prison theory...
  13. I see where you are coming from here considering I'm in GA too and know the history of our state, but a few things you had in there don't completely add up. For one, that picture could be of anywhere. It might as well be the hole in the side of NYC. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that picture has been there for weeks, much before Die Rise was released. Also, the exiting Die Rise theory is a bit shady. However, if Jimmy Drops another hint on Ogelthorpe or GA, then your theory may be spot on. On the other hand, I really like your steam engine/railroad theory, though. Everything in Express + The Steam Engine helps. One sentence sticks out in the article too. It says: "These improvements allowed the steam engine to replace the water wheel and horses as the main sources of power for British industry, thereby freeing it from geographical constraints and becoming one of the main drivers in the Industrial Revolution." Terminus was being created during the Industrial Revolution, and the CDC tie in helps that a lot. I recommend editing your post by copying and pasting everything in your other post in here. It would help generate a hot topic. Good work bro!
  14. Agreed. There really wasn't a good side to choose anyway. A power seeking traitor who has ultimate power, or a person with a murderous daughter whom he loves and just tried to blow up the world JUST to take away the power from Richtofen. AND they both are Nazis. In the end I think Maxis will take out the zombies and everyone in The Flesh who can hear Richtofen, including Samuel. I also think Richtofen will fix the destroyed world, but will be a god over it, which isn't too great.
  15. Hi all, I've recently come across numerous posts talking about how the events in Great Leap Forward take place before Green Run. Well, I've got a couple reasons why these theories are inaccurate. Feel free to give a counter argument. 1. Maxis' Opening Transmission: "The energy fields are NO LONGER disrupting my communications via electrical devices. You will hear me, and you should listen." As we know, Maxis was having trouble talking to us with the power on, so we had to perform his EE with the power off. So, when he says he is no longer having problems, he obviously must of had them BEFORE Great Leap Forward. So unless he has trouble again in DLC, which I see as unlikely, then there's a solid reason why it is happening after. 2. The Opening Cutscene: Before you begin the map on Local, a cutscene is played showing Richtofen speaking to Samuel. Close to the beginning, a purple Meteor-type thing is moved from the west coast of the U.S. to Asia as our players' mode of transportation, and we hear Samuel say "How did you...?" Unless for some reason this is backwards, then we travelled from Green Run to GLF. 3. Tranzit EE Ending Quote: After you complete the Tranzit EE on Maxis' side, you hear him talk of powering "other towers." Well, did we not just power another tower in Die Rise? Now, I do understand people thinking that we will finish our storyline in Green Run, and I actually believe it too. But I think it's more that we will return there after having completed all the Easter Eggs. Put your thoughts below!
  16. If you're looking for the accurate zombies storyline to help you look for future zombies clues, here's the ultimate link: http://callofdutyzombies.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=100&t=18279 Please get a feel of this site before you post again. Very hard to know what you are talking about without starting up my Xbox.
  17. I die all the time by going down the shaft, and on the final slide take so much fall damage I actually go down in the last fall area that leads to the AN94 room. Really hoping it gets fixed.
  18. They would never make an 8 player complete map for regular zombies. I know it would be cool and all, but it's just too out of the usual 4-player-zombie-survival-team. Imagine how easy it would be to make it to high rounds where eight players working together where everyone could revive everyone could be.
  19. I like where you're going with this, but I think the beastly voice Stu is hearing is Richtofen either gaining or losing power. This is a video with the cutscene in it: . Skip to about 1:05, and you can hear the voice say "Accept your fate, begin anew." Then repeats itself, but slips into Richtofen's normal voice.
  20. From what I'm getting from the whole choosing sides part of the EEs, maybe you see them in the grand finale if you follow Maxis' EE steps. It'd make sense for Sam in Richtofen's body to want to be with her daddy.
  21. I'm going to have to disagree. If you watch this video of the opening cutscene: and skip to about 1:07, you can distinctly hear the beastly voice say "Accept your fate. Begin anew!" and shortly after it repeats as plain Richtofen, with a hint at the beast in it. My theory is that he's gaining power, and the voice change is the growth in it. Keep in mind Maxis hasn't done anything to stop him yet, that we know of, at least. Just a theory, though.
  22. Hi, So everyone has been talking about how Paris was a big map Treyarch has been wanting to make and such. People say it'll be in the next DLC, but I think it will be in the final DLC. I get this from the fact that we have been using towers like pylons and radio towers in our recent Easter Eggs. Well when you look at the Eiffel Tower, what do you see? I see one big booty Spire that Richtofen and Maxis would kill for. I chose that picture because the lights at the top remind me of ToB. Why not make that the grand ending for the Easter Eggs? Put your thoughts/counter theories below!
  23. No. In the description for Nuketown on the Season Pass page on callofduty.com, it gives a brief description of Nuketown, which says something on the lines of: "A group of radiation scientists are attacked by zombies turned by element 115 in the nearby area. After losing touch with Area 51 and receiving distress calls from a nearby site, the CIA and CDC are sent in." This is some pretty good evidence that Marlton was a scientist at Area 51, and Gersch has a definite Russian accent.
