Im actually starting to think that this 'glitch' is actually part of the easter egg, and what we believe to be the 'easter egg' is just a mission, like part of a campaign (not my theory but I do like it) and the actuall easter egg is still hidden somewhere in the map and we have yet to find it. Especially since I heard there were radios on the wii version that hinted at the next map taking place in china, and other hints that were of the dlcs from the original black ops, so even if it was only on one system or missing from one system, this is trayarch and every possibility must be sifted through. Also, about the little mini nukes, would you please take some photos and upload them, as I have never seen any?

Ah, pardon me for confusing what your intentions were. I believe so; the data is being saved onto your harddrive rather than Treyarch's servers, so you should be able to store/retrieve your points without a problem. I'm not too sure about System-Links (since we're on the topic of offline matches), but I believe it can also be done on those. Thanks again for the post, and I hope you are correct about being able to retrieve my money. I dont have internet to play online and have few friends who enjoy playing zombies with me locally, so im starting to doubt it really matters if I can or not. Be nice to have money if I need it mid round though.

I personally haven't seen the trailer buti think its possible that what we have been discussing the entire time about alternate bus routes and extended areas may have been hinted at in the original video. But, its also possible that it was just for the video and we are going nowhere. But there's still several dlcs and alot more updates on their way, so who knows, maybe one day someone will stumble upon something and they will do an update that they have been just waiting to release, and they just wanted us to look a little bit deeper into parts where we never look. But who knows, it is trayarch after all.

Thanks for replying so quickly, but I meant putting them in local, and retrieving them on local. If I wanted them online in train the town and dump points in every thousand till I had a considerable stash. just wondering if its possible on local too, as I play local mostly.

"Carry on" by avenged sevenfold is the easter egg song after you beat the campaign and watch the credits. Also, today I played tranzit and activated all the teddy bears (while my music was turned up) expecting skrillex to play, but instead heard the "carrion" song, and honestly, I was not disappointed with what I heard. It was loud and rocking and lasted longer then the round did. Also opened the pack a punch room for the first time and dumped a bunch of points into the bank and started mining the zombies for points not even buying juggernog and just pouring my points into the bank. It was amazing. Only sad part was it was wasted points because I am not connected to the internet, so my points (along with any gun I put in the fridge) are erased nda do not carry over. Is there a way to get around this if you're not online? Or is that another forum topic?

as soon as I heard about the elevator I started thinking it'd be this maps version of the bus, since a bus wouldn't be good for vertical ascents, specially if its a collapsing building. *in most cases, you never know with trayarch* but I never thought about needing to activate the power to use it. But maybe If you do need to, and there is an achievement for going ten rounds without using it, maybe it will be more like an original map and really hard to survive without the elevator or perks or power in general

From what I've heard, originally you could get "Carry On" by Aveneged Sevenfold or that "Imma Try It Out" by Skrillex, based on what order you activated the teddy bears. I can't confirm if this was or was not the case, but supposedly one of the first patches removed the other two songs anyways... so only "Carrion" by Kevin Sherwood is playable now. And... glad to help! I figured it was probably just a simple setting you had overlooked. That's what I heard, and luckily for me, I don't have internet access so my xbox hasn't updated since they took out turbine, and if they did take out avenged sevenfold and skrillex then il just take off the updates. Not playing online so don't see why it would matter to me.

I agree with what everybody here is saying. I've seen people glitch before, like on five for instance to get on the table, I did it but found it boring, but an easy way to rack up points early on. And others like the stage glitch in kino with the dogs, if you have somebody on the team who isn't that good, let them do it so they can survive a little longer. I think using the bathroom or taking a break in the high rounds is a perfect example of cheating that's good, but it shouldn't be the sole way of making rounds. Guess what im trying to say is glitches can be fun, and help people who aren't that good survive a little longer, but shouldn't be abused. Though honestly, I've never heard of any of these glitches in green run and never seen any of them used before, just saying.

Honestly, I love zombies, and after playing it on black ops 1 I refused to buy black ops 2 without a zombie mode. The last actual online game play I really enjoyed twenty four seven, was modern warfare 2, even with quick scopers and hacked lobbies. After that, I ran into almost nothing but camping games. Especially in black ops 2. Hackers are going to be around for a long time and will always find ways around whatever the people do to stop them. Yes, the zombies dying makes it easier for people to run away and go up the ranks without any kills but its possible it was done to speed up the game and make it people don't complete the easter eggs by round 6 yes, I know this messes with a bunch of peoples game play but they may be trying to make it where you aren't given that, much time to relax at the end of each round. But not killing zombies isn't going to give people points, or kills. Just going to give them rounds. And im sure the really good players are gonna kill, get points, and buy every door and enjoying have more than the starter pistol when they get into the twenties and will find a way to get around this just like we got around the crawler dying by having a player stick with it and get hit occasionally, keeping it alive while zombie used the hit box, or pack a punched their gun, or even used the bathroom or ate supper. Its not the end of the world here, we'll get used to it, or they'll take it out. Just keep playing the game and enjoying what you can, specially since the new map comes out soon.

I've played five, veruckt, and shagra la, and honestly, none of those maps ever seemed tight to me. Five was the 'tightest' one and you still had room for every player to run circles around the place. If the new map is as tight as I believe it to be, *please, take note that I have not seen any trailers of it* then it will be extremely tight, about the width of the bus in most places with rooms that are more open, but still pretty tight. As I say again, I have not seen any pictures or footage of the map, so if I am wrong and you have proof, please correct me, as I would like to know. -
Hi, im kinda new here, though I've been very active since I joined. And I've seen posts about treyarch reading the posts on here, and I was wondering if its true. Can't really think of any place this would go so I posted it here hoping the moderators would read it. Thanks for any help.

Actually, Maxis made the quote about searching for decades, but that's beside the point. I could see Die Rise being in an alternate time-line, but it isn't my favorite theory. It would explain the modern skyscrapers/buildings though. Oh, thanks. I don't have world at war or the original black ops and honestly, im not that good at zombies. My highest round was in the mid to high thirties on kino and I never played the other maps cause I could never get them, plus, I haven't done the easter egg in green run yet, because I can't get online and my friends aren't that good honestly. So thank you for correcting me.

Thank you, apparently my music was turned down so I could listen to the quotes. I haven't played yet, but I did turn my music back up. Also, I heard there were three diffrent songs depending on the order you hit the teddy bears, is this true? Also, thanks for getting back so quickly, I didn't expect a reply so soon.

I think the alternate timeline theory did take place. I always thought that moon took place with five or shorlty after, no more than a few months. Defanitly the same year. And nuketown zombies same time as moon. With green run being shortly after. it is possible that we have traveled to an alternate timeline for 'die rise' where the zombies did not occur untill much later, considering we have done it before in call of the dead shows that it may be possible. I also think that when richtofin says he's been looking for decades is from the original maps from world at war, as world war 2 to the cold war is from the forties to sixties is twenty years. I also think that the order the maps have been released is in chronological order, atleast for the time relevent plot, because they do seem to change between alternate time lines. Anything is possible untill we get to the end of the zombie story line, which I think wont be for a while to come.

I've actually thought of something like this before, where they all come together, spawning on seperate sides of the map or seperated like in veruckt, maybe two from each on each side, and having to wrok together to complete a massive easter egg and stop russman from taking control of the zombies! Not likely, but I always thought a grief map where you had to start seperatly to get to the end before you could kill each other. And like quick revive for solo, you're given a certain number. Times everybody could respawn or just everybody goes down everybody is out. Though it would change the lobby so I don't see it happening. Not this gmae atleast.

I think its possible that it takes place in australia, and that it would be on the fourth dlc if it did take place. But, I don't see it any time soon. It would be fun, and a huge map, even the facility was seperate sections which could be several survival maps integrated into the big tranzit mode. It defanitly seems possible, though im not getting my hopes up, mostly because a lack of internet connection, but I think that its a long shot. But then again, so is everything we have done so far in zombies.

This is truly amazing, it not only ties in a bunch of the maps that otherwise stood out, but gave reasons as why the new map pack is taking place in china. Also, I have a slightly relevant idea. I played Five and took away that it took place in the cold war, same time period as black ops, and had jfk in it. I always thought that moon took place shortly after five, within the same year at least. So about 1963. The green run project took place about the same time, 1962. And as stated earlier, the great leap forward took place around the same time. Not only that but the map from green run reminds me of the sixties. From what I've seen, the game does not take place in 2020 or 2025 or anywhere after that, I think it takes place in the 1960s. I think that all of the upcoming maps for black ops 2 will take place around the early to mid 1960s. So, in order to find the upcoming dlc locations, we should look for relevent locations around that time period. Sorry about the post being long, but I have enjoyed this site ever since I have came from the shadows and wish to help further the community however I can.

I also thought that he was in there for a reason. But, because in general I am lacking on the story and many details because I don't have internet or the original black ops, I can't say much and back it with proof. Though, I always thought that maybe he was in there and originally was powering the whole city before the bombs hit. Though I have heard that it has been atleast twenty years since they hit, which I never believed in the first place and was backed by Marlton being in Nuketown when the bombs hit. Only way he could go twenty years without changing would be. Time travel, though it isn't unheard of in zombies. I just think that the bombs that hit were not nuclear, but instead planet busters designed to shred the planet into pieces. But who knows, maybe it is time travel, would back up misty being related to Dempsey.

I was playing today and remembered the songs in the maps and decided to go find the teddy bears, *I actually googled where they were, but oh well, im not claming to be good* and went and hit the teddies in order of the bus depot, farm, and town. I did it two separate times and both times no song played. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone and if so why it happened. I was on local because my xbox is no longer connected to the internet and by myself if it helps any.
