OFF TOPIC: Why did you only complete the speed fire round on PDT in 4 min? You clearly have a strong grasp on the storyline. Nerves & The little things I guess haha But really, awesome post. I want to know the same as the person above though. Some questions have not been answered.

Part 1 - Wardens Office - Just look around, IT WILL be in there. It looks like a mini engin of some sort. Either below one of the windows viewing the building, or on a table near speed cola. Part 2 - Outside the showers door up the stares. opposite end of the afterlife switch. Looks like a briefcase. Fairly big, but easily missable. Part 3 - Infirmiry - Just look around, IT WILL be in there. Its a green object, stands out from everything else.

Trapped in Time - Flickering Perks, Mend the rift EXPLAINED
TBGxRyan replied to TBGxRyan's topic in Mob of the Dead
Just by the looks and style of it. A wooden box with hey at the bottom. Like I said, it would not have functioned this way at first, it may have just been storage first. But when Samantha got control, she managed to change it. I think theres proof somewhere, but if not, I wouldn't think any different. It just looks too 'normal' to be "alien". However, the MOTD coffin is a different story. -
Trapped in Time - Flickering Perks, Mend the rift EXPLAINED
TBGxRyan replied to TBGxRyan's topic in Mob of the Dead
A simple explanation for this is that, Richtofen basically kicked Samantha out with no hesitation. He did not have a time to change anything like the mysterybox. We also know that the mysterybox was made by Group 935, but didn't function until the zombie overtake. Samantha made this function, and as this is the only mysterybox in exsistans Richtofen can only take over this box. As for the box light... I don't know. -
I disagree. MotD has me questioning whether or not I want to devote as much of my play time to Zombies anymore. Trollarch seems to have a trend going now of making Zombies as difficult as possible. I don't want difficult games, I want fun games, but going down constantly because of crazy spawns, not having points due to super expensive doors, and no really good training spots, takes the fun out of it. If this increasing difficulty trend continues, I'll feel the $$$ I spent on the Season Pass was a waste. I think its real easy. jug + zombie shield + vitriolic withering equals so many epic zombie survivals. but with their already being a 97 on the leaderboard, i think its real easy. I understand why treyarch have done this. The main goal of zombies is to get to the highest round possible. It has always been the main goal. And making a very easy map would just wreck the fun and excitement on getting to a high round. Take Ascension for example. Ascension is a very cool map. But if you go for high rounds on it, you're garanteed not to go down before round 30. It was too easy, and after I did a run on this map and got to a high round, I felt no sence of accomplishment. But, after I recently got to a high round on MOTD, I felt a sence of accomplishment, and it was one of the best zombie experiences i've ever had.

He doesn't lock traps, but he does de-activate them if he is near by active traps. Can be annyoing for your stratergy, but I guess its ok.

Trapped in Time - Flickering Perks, Mend the rift EXPLAINED
TBGxRyan replied to TBGxRyan's topic in Mob of the Dead
The team over at treyarch diod say that had a lot of influence on the map by watching Alcatraz documentaries and films. Maybe they did pick a part of the films and documenteries to form there storyline. -
The purgatory skulls is not a side quest. But part of the main EE. And as for anyother side quests, activate the hidded songs is what you're missing.

Because I think everyone is expecting something big. Like in Black Ops 1 with a all zombies map pack. All I can say is, not to get your hopes up, and not to look into it too much.

Trapped in Time - Flickering Perks, Mend the rift EXPLAINED
TBGxRyan replied to TBGxRyan's topic in Mob of the Dead
It could be. We see this pack a punch as a well built one. Not like the ones we've seen on Die Rise and TranZit. And we also see it as not been minipulated by group 935. If it was, we would have a different camo. (The red and black one) But instead, we have a well build machine, and the camo is Lava and rock. This could represent hell. -

Trapped in Time - Flickering Perks, Mend the rift EXPLAINED
TBGxRyan replied to TBGxRyan's topic in Mob of the Dead
Off Topic: This is one of the best discussions I've seen on the forum for a while! Keep It Up. On Topic: If we are going by the impresion that the zombies are been controlled by no one, which would make a ton of sence in the storyline. But if we are under this impression, going away from the rift, maybe we can put a voice to our "Devil" character. Maybe the voice is the zombies talking. This is the zombies communicating with us, and they can only do that by the Aither. We know at this point, there is either no one or something zombie/satanic like in the Aither and that it has existing through time, it was Group 935 that was able to minipulate it. But who was in there before this? Maybe no one. And this is how the zombies are communicating with us. Who ever is in the Aither can talk to anyone via communications, speakers and if anyone has consumed 115. So this would make us beleive that the zombies are talking through the Aither. Hopefully this made sence. It hionestly didnt when I was writing it, but I think I got my point across. -
Trapped in Time - Flickering Perks, Mend the rift EXPLAINED
TBGxRyan replied to TBGxRyan's topic in Mob of the Dead
The perks are on Alcatraz because of the rift. We know that this map links in with another, and I think that map is Call Of The Dead. It was the first map to aquire Dead Shot, and both maps have reletively the same experience. 1 Annoying sun of a b*tch, first appearance of deadshot, the name sound very similar and the O4 was there (As we keep hearing the quotes about the O4 on MOTD) Just throwing this at the wind. The perks have been brought from the future, if someone sent them is unknown, and I wouldn't beleive it. I would go on the lines that they fell through time, through the broken rift. -
A mysterybox location is close to this door, and it has a comnstant ringing sound. Maybe it is that you are hearing.

I didn't know about that actually! Awesome! -
I noticed this in TranzIt when the map came out. And this is not the only one where they say similar things. I can not pinpoint them specifically, but they all say something that corralates too the O4 in some way.

MOB OF THE DEAD Trapped In Time Alcatraz Island seems to be going in a loop. You seem to be trapped in time, going in a infinate loop. (This is ofcourse theory). All the information below is proof of this theory. Hear me out. In Die Rise, we are told to mend the rift. This is going back to Alcatraz, where here the rift is broken, and has created a damaged space-time continuum. Somehow, samuel is told to mend this, but he is over 60 to 80 years in the future. How does he do it? Is the man in the sky Russ? Is something linking these 2 locations? How bad is the brift damaged? In Mob Of The Dead, all the Perk bottles are phasing. They phase in and out of reality, they're are broken down, no jingles play. Because of this continues loop, we can see the perk machines react differently to other objects, they phase. It looks like they are phasing becuase maybe they are damaged. Maybe the rift is damaging them. Maybe its not damaged, maybe they are phasing because this is how they react, and how treyarch wanted to show us, they are stook in a loop. So this loop needs to be broken. We know from completing the easteregg with the outcome of Al killing the rest of the guys brakes the cycle. Will this cause something to happen on Die Rise? The rift is mended when Al manages to do this. Without the support of Samuel. So now the rift is mended, what do we do now? A Acheivement in Mob Of The Dead is called 'Trapped in Time'. **Drops Mic, Walks away** So this 'proves' that Mob Of The Dead is set out side of reality. And that the entire island is set a side of the rest of the normal world, and the cycle keeps on going round, and round. How will this effect the next map? Has anything changed on the previeous maps when the Easter egg is complete and you brake the cycle? And does Samuel play a role in Mob Of The Dead in anyway? Maybe Samual is the demonic voice that can be heared from time to time, and in Grief. Who knows? We'll have to see. Thankyou for reading. TBG x Ryan

You are posting in the WRONG section! Post in the Team mate finder section to get a response. Also, MOTD is out dude! Aint no one got time for Die rise!

Could you pick it up? If not then its probs just there for looks like on the map FIVE where you can see the Death machine, Thunder gun and Winters Howl. If you can pick it up, it will be a triggered event.
-
Just wanted to say, the Wiki sucks. Everyone one it has no clue about the storyline and just post things they feel makes sence with no proof at all. Also, if Al created the zombies, why, in the cut scene opener, did he act so suprised when the guard turned into a zombie? If he created the zombies, he would have to be in the Aether to be able to control them. Why create something you have no control over? The does not add up.
-
They havn't been brought up much. Theres no radios about them and no storyline info about them, but yet, we still see there logos on maps like Der Resie and others. They have something to do with the zombie takeover and will play a BIG role in the future.

You have to stop moaning. Be happy you have zombies again! Also, nuketown rocks. Nuff said.
