The Blundergat (Wonder Weapon) discussion thread
Gintama replied to Dahniska's topic in Mob of the Dead
Ah, yes. The inevitable. But yes I just wanted to solidify my thoughts on this conversation. That being it is going nowhere in terms of getting MMX to even consider the fact of agreeing there should be more to wonder weapons than 115 This conversation: fqs9DYisSsg -
The Blundergat (Wonder Weapon) discussion thread
Gintama replied to Dahniska's topic in Mob of the Dead
Im beginning to feel that MMX holds his own formulated view of what a WW is and what requirements it has to meet to be one. If you say anything against his view you are wrong, because his view is right and it should be the only view. Not that this is irrational, many people do this, its a trait seen throughout the world. Not trying to spark anything but it is what this conversation has come down to. It is a one ended conversation if the other does not acknowledge any part of your conversation or argument. -

haha, I can see he is passionate about zombies! But hey, even the ballistic knife can revive after Pap'n it. maybe we should PaP MMX But on a more serious note. There is a point where ones passion for something blinds him to the passions and ideas of others. -

Classifications are bound to change at some point in time. And when they do you dont have to take it upon yourself to be the one to "fix" the issue. I honestly see no need for MMX to be going as ballistic as he is. Electric brought up an addition/exception to the classification of wonder weapon (one, I might add, that is backed by other members of the community) and not soon after he is ridiculed for it. If you have ever taken a class in biology you should know that classes have exceptions. The argumentation of "its not a wonder weapon if it doesnt shoot 115" is about as arguable as "its not a plane unless it uses a prop." -
For one I hear "do" instead of did and, believe it or not, that changes the meaning quite a bit. Maybe not massively but it still changes. If he says "do" it can mean someone other than us has been continually hurting him. Where as if he says "did" its a totally different story. As it is most likely the first time he has been hurt. Also im calling prophecy that we have to make zombie sacrifices to that Dog face, and if we end up doing that I want creds. Nvm somebody already called it..Great minds think alike

MotD Behind the Scenes Trailer: Things You May Have Missed
Gintama replied to Naitrax's topic in Mob of the Dead
...But why hang them when there are such beautiful electric chairs right there?! I dont see a derby hat here as much as the excess part of a sack left over from being tied. EDIT: I think im looking at the thing behind your body.. is your guy upside down, and if so why is that hat resisting gravity? plus there are 5 things hanging from the ceiling. -
Yea im compiling the locations of License plates tonight *hopefully* and will update my map to show them. Bagel, we can both agree I was more than a little off It seems I placed the pylon in reverse order (distance from town to power vs power to town)
-
This is the map Of tranzit, the Pylon locations are marked by blue dots. Havent placed the license plates on there yet but I do know where two are. One is at the diner, one under the pylon between Town and power

Jumping Jacks are mutations of Phaser Zombies which are mutations of Nova 6 Crawlers which are mutations of ???. We could say that ??? are the Vril-ya, as they are quite similar to the zombies found in Shangri-la. @Scoldon: So you are relating the 115 inside the Ray Gun to the Jumping Jacks which may be similar to what's in Who's Who? Hm, quite a different perspective of things. Nice observation, friendo! We can't determine the workings exactly of Who's Who, and we can't fully determine if 115 is truly involved in the mutation of Jumping Jacks. Something else caused them to mutate. Evolution? A new element/catalyst? The liquid in the Sliquifier looks more similar to the mist when Jumping Jacks move from place to place. Something else is involved in the process. anybody notice that strange mark/ symbol thing on the left zombie?
-
Man, this most be some quick evolution..from what they teach in schools evolution takes like a bazillion years... But I agree with murders views on the progression of man-zombie except for the jump from Biped zombie to quadrupeds (crawlers) If this transformation happened I can just as easily believe that Crawlers came from denizens. In the biped zombie case we go to walking on two legs to crawling, loose eyes, gain a huge freaking mouth, and fart (explode-teleport-know karate). From denizens, they just loose their huge eyes and grew some. I fear we are missing a link some where, just like those macro evolutionists are missing their "TRUE" link.

Now that you say that im almost sure I read that post! \ But I literally just read the report not more than 5 minutes ago and went, " WHAT!!?? GREEN RUN?? NUCLEAR TESTING?? Iodine 131 CLOUDS??? IM A FLIPPING GENIUS!" and I landed here and posted my find.
-
Hey guys, I was derping around on the interwebs looking for old government articles about old nuclear testing and what not for school when I found this out. In the late 1980s, the U.S. House Committee on Energy and Commerce released a damning report called “American Nuclear Guinea Pigs: Three Decades of Radiation Experiments on U.S. Citizens.” The report spotlighted Operation Green Run, a military test at a Washington plutonium facility. There, in 1949, managers purposefully released a massive cloud of radioactive iodine-131 to test how far it could travel downwind. Iodine-131 and xenon-133 reportedly traveled as far as the California-Oregon border, infecting 500,000 acres. It’s believed that 8000 curies of radioactive iodine floated out of the factory. To put that into perspective, in 1979, Three Mile Island emitted around 25 curies of radioactive iodine. The report showed that the military planned 12 similar radiation releases at other facilities. I believe this could be why Green Run got its name, and possibly why there is a the thick fog that we are all accustomed to by now. Let me know what you guys think!

I believe there's a new layer of info now being put into the quotes each character has. Well, at least compared to Bops1. We've learned so much from their speech alone.
-
I'm sure this has been brought up before, but, who has noticed all the new sounds the zombies are making? They seem to differ from character to character. I end up playing as misty allot so I've come to recognize the low demonic like Moan she hears every now and then. But Samuel, (I guess from eating the flesh and ingesting 115) actually hears what the zombies crave, out cries of BBBBRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNSSSSSSSS!!!! can be heard from the zombies as well as cries for meat. Also as a side note, I've been tracking Samuels quotes of meat and the flesh. But I've noticed misty makes a similar quote. Something to the likeness of "who's for lunch now?" or an almost exact repeating of " your gonna be lunch!" I heard this quote for the first time last night playing on die rise and It took me off guard for a moment. Anyone else noted unusual sound or conversation from the new 4?

http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=vbJCUlSp ... bJCUlSpXHI Tada, all the zombies loading screens old and new. ( not with bops 2 loadings though.)
-
I was able to retrieve knives from the top of the clock but that's just me.
-
I do think you have something going though with your new theory. I also believe if you use the ballistic knifes to make hands for the clock and place it at 7:04 ( time the first nuke went off at nuke town) , 7:49 (the time the nuke from moon hit) or 8:01 ( the b bus scheduled time) something will happen. I'm 100% on this theory. Whether or not more steps are required than just acquiring a ballistic knife and shooting the clock, I'm not sure. Too bad I'm on Xbox though.
-
But It also is a yellow line marked on buses to signify where you can't stand on the bus here's a crappy text-pic explanation o-------o ! Driver ! ! Line. ! ! ! ! Seats ! ! ! So yeah I believe the line he is referring to is this one.
-
Well, in reference to your question on the bus drivers quote " stand behind the yellow line" It is referring to yellow line used at train stations to mark the danger zone, in or past the yellow line you are most likely going to be hit by the incoming train.
-
Hey guys, you know the clock with no hands on tranzit? What if we used the ballistic knifes to make the time 19:49 ? Or 19:04? So in regular time ; 7:49 or 7:04
-
Yeah I end up playing as misty allot so I've noticed what you're talking about. They're like deep moaning sounds right? It's preety scary.... MMMMMMMOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!! Lol.
-
Well this is just my two cents, but. Go and pack a punch the Remington (possibly any other shotgun) and kill a zombie, note how much blood splatters. Now kill a zombie with another gun, see the difference? I think this might aid in the zombie killing process / step. Maxis is specifically calling out for blood. Richtofen on moon specifically called for souls. Am I just seeing more blood? Am I just connecting invisible dots? IDK, try it.
-
Well im sure Mr. Murder Machine will be glad to hear this along with some others. But it only leads me to believe that the Hacker glitch on moon was left as was on purpose.
-
Well, the same theory could be applied to the Thunder cannon or zap guns. I just dont think you can PaP anything you make, only get from the box (so far). But then again the slicky goes to the box after you pick it up from the table, so what does this mean?
