*POLLS* BLOPS II Wrap Up: Best Song
Speedo Cola replied to AlphaOmega's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Imma Try It Out was my favourite on this game, even though it relates to the story in no way. I just played so well with it. I also liked MOTD's Where Are We Going song, and I'm not even really a Rock fan. My favourite song of all time is Five's tho lol -
*POLL* BLOPS II Wrap up: Easter Eggs

I picked Buried's EE, because it's the hardest one ever to me because of the last step, and I HAD to do it thrice for it to count cause it glitched, and I picked the Golden Spork one because I loved that weapon. I loved Origins ending as well, but haven't gotten it myself yet. -

The staffs and the Paralyzer (I only voted for the Paralyzer, didn't know I could vote 2, lol). The Blundergat is my third, and I really loved it as well. -
*POLL* BLOPS II Wrap Up: Characters

I picked Richtofen, cause he's the best character ever, but Weasel is definetly my favourite newly-introduced character in this game. -
are most zombie players anti-social?
Speedo Cola replied to R102609's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Me and a lot of people I met on here TALK A LOT. Like we make up parodies and stuff while playing. I'm quiet at night tho -
Would you suggest editing the stuff I got from it out, or keeping it?

Updated with you guy's suggestions and a few things from the Wiki.

Now, I remember there being a thread on this for Buried, and I felt one would be needed for this map. I haven't played Origins too much, so I won't be able to give a ton of info, however, I think it would be great to have a main discussion for all of the cool little things you can do in this map, as well as nifty little bits of info. I'll try to update the OP with everything that is posted every so often. Also, stuff related to the Ending Cutscene will be in a Spoiler. Alright, I'll go first now. 1. You can obtain "Thunderfists" (I don't know the name) if you fill up all 4 soul chests around the map. 2. You can get inside of a robot, by shooting the yellow circle on the bottom of his foot, and then being stepped on by that foot. 3. If you get on the Tank, Panzer Soldat cannot get to you. 6. This is the third map where it is possible to obtain the starting weapon (without dying), the first being Shi No Numa and the second being Mob of the Dead. However, it is obtained differently (by digging it up) 7. The Remington New Model Army appears in the intro cutscene, but it does not appear in-game. 8. Origins marks the first ever Call of Duty feature to take place during the First World War. It is also the earliest, with the second earliest being Mob Of The Dead. 9. The Origins Intro Cinematic was first uploaded to Call of Duty's YouTube Channel on August 19th, but at roughly 1:49 Nikolai Belinski's name was misspelled as "Belinksi". It was taken down, then reuploaded to Treyarch's channel the following day, with the mistake rectified. 10. This is the third zombies map to feature more than two ways of being able to revive other players (previous maps had standard revives and instant revives from the Pack-a-Punched Ballistic Knife). The first two being Moon with QEDs and the second being Buried with the Time Bomb. 11. This is the first time Ludvig Maxis is visually seen (in the cinematic cutscene). 12. You can obtain weapons with attachments from the mystery box, and these weapons also have wall ammo, so it is a good purchase! 13. This is the first time zombies can have three eye colors at once. Yellow, blue and purple with a white tint. 14. It is the first time since Der Riese that the player can go prone in front of a Perk-a-Cola machine and get 25 points. 15. This is the first time that prices (including doors, debris, and generators) depend on the number of players in game. This does not include perks or weapons. 16. You can get the Panzer Soldat stuck in the mud by the Robot. 17. You can get a free upgraded MG08 by collecting four yellow discs around the map with the Maxis Drone. 18. You can melee with the Ultimate Staffs. 19. You can have over 4 perks. First, buy 4. Then, accept Double Tap for the challenge. And lastly, use the following method to obtain more slots: Acquire Golden Shovel Get Zombie Blood Dig up glowing mounds

That's it! You're a genius! No wonder she's narrating. She TOOK them back in time as a defense against Richtofen's actions on Buried, or it was a product of Maxis freeing Samantha. It's a Common Ending. Now, you're probably still not convinced. But think about it. As Taklok (I think that's it) said earlier, Richtofen is acting like he doesn't know why he's here. It's because he just lost control and got sent back to his freakin' body! Maxis may or may not have been sent back. And the O3... My theory on it, is well: They Died on Moon. They were in the Wisp (That's why Richtofen said it would make us so, so sad) and now they're back, because time was sent back. Related to the wisp, what if that's why some zombies have purple eyes, like the color of the wisp? The O3's dead souls still went back in time as well, and they entered certain zombies. Samantha knew she had to go back to the first time the 04 met to end it all, that way all possible plans they could have made based on anything that occurred there never would've happened. Holy crap, my imagination's getting real wild right now, but what if some things, like Richtofen's soul, went back in time, too? Like the planes? That way we'd know what really happened to Weasel. Imagine him rebuilding the plane, leaving the bridge, only to hit a portal or something, and find himself in France? Lol, the look on his face would be priceless... It'd sure explain the bi-planes. Now the robots, I have no idea. Only thing I can think up is Tedd (from TranZit) did steroids. And I know it's not the official name, but there's nothing else to call him, and I like Tedd (it's ironic, though, that I HATE Leroy). But lol, Fear Tedds, maybe he had like 100 children and they all took steroids... Anyways, this is shaping up to be an interesting map. I can't wait till next week.

Very interesting... this map is so confusing, but I know it will be amazing!

jet gun vs. paralyzer. What did they do wrong?
Speedo Cola replied to TheBSZombie's topic in General Zombies Discussion
That Grief Glitch... I CAN'T STAND IT! I really hope they patch it, because I would've won all but 2 matches, yet I've lost at least 8 because of the glitch that people without skill choose to do -
jet gun vs. paralyzer. What did they do wrong?
Speedo Cola replied to TheBSZombie's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Not saying I do that, cause I don't, but what makes it not legit? The green mist WAS MADE to make zombies run away, and the gun WAS MADE with infinite ammo. They haven't patched it yet, and it's not like it's something most people don't know anyways, so I'd say it is an OP legit strategy lol. In all honesty, I believe if anything, they should just shorten the mist time if they wish to patch it. That's because (Yes, I tested it) it lasts longer than 2 monkey bombs. -
jet gun vs. paralyzer. What did they do wrong?
Speedo Cola replied to TheBSZombie's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Hey, camping is a legitimate strategy. Training/running them isn't the only one. Just because camping is slightly easier, doesn't mean this is playing the game in the wrong way. I never heard anyone complaining about maps that were easy to train on, now did I? On Topic: The gun is kinda OP, but I love it how it is, and couldn't stand to see it changed after getting so used to it. The map's so far into it'c life that I honestly doubt to ever see it patched anyways. Now, the Jet Gun, I wish that it could be maybe upgraded, or something. Cause the few times I had it, I kinda wish I didn't. I mean, come on. TranZit was a map I never really liked anyways. And no, I'm not saying it's the most horrible map or anything, it's just that in my opinion, I don't like it. -
No offence, but Eminem is awesome. I wish he would write a song FOR zombies though, instead of them using one he had already wrote on FIVE. On Topic: I'm not much of a rock fan, so I don't really care about it. But if you like it, good for you. = _ = Musical talent, or lack thereof, aside, he would NEVER agree to such a thing. Yeah, it'd be hard to get him to do such a thing. But in my opinion, it would be cool. I just wish Treyarch would have musical EE's for "everyone" if you get what I'm saying.

I literally thought this up in 5 minutes, so don't think I'm too serious on this. However, what if in another universe (the campaign one, which is tied to the Zombies one in minor ways) Nikolai was paid to "look" like someone else. That could be why he looks like Reznov in the map trailer. And maybe Nikolai encountered Mason? Idk, I'm sure it would do with the US trying to best Germany in WW2 though, and perhaps they implanted a device in Mason to hear voices, such as some Germans did. Weasel received this type of treatment early though. Anyways, I doubt this is true, but wanted to get this speculation out before tomorrow, so please shed some thoughts on this little idea. Thanks

I hope we play as them, however, remember the description of Die Rise: "Multiple Upgradeable Wonder Weaponry"? When will I be able to PAP my Sliquifier?

Haha, one of them had a Dead Rising pic in it, the plaza one haha

Apparently, it relates to France! Check out these lines I read from the Wikipedia page for "Mauser:" Norris believed the design could be adapted to convert Chassepot needle guns to fire metallic cartridges. Shortly thereafter, a partnership was formed in Oberndorf between Norris and the Mauser brothers. The partners went to Liège in 1867, but when the French government showed no interest in a Chassepot conversion, the partnership was dissolved. Paul Mauser returned to Oberndorf in December 1869, and Wilhelm arrived in April 1870. So Mauser could have been a French company? Interesting, maybe we can see some minor rivalry/jealousy, by a character, or maybe some propaganda on a wall? I doubt it, but then again, the map is MOST LIKELY France, and Mauser has been mentioned a couple times recently by 3arch. Also, check this out: The Mauser brothers received an order for 3,000 rifle sights, but actual production of the rifle was given to government arsenals and large firms. The sights were produced at the Xaver Jauch house starting 1 May 1872. Again, I highly doubt what I am about to say, but it is slightly possible. Perhaps, the c on the picture stands for 3, since 3000 sights were printed, the x is for Xaver Jauch, and the s is for sights? I doubt it, but I'm trying to find out what it is, and that is a connection lol, perhaps they wanted to reference their origins? Oh wait, just found this out. Yep, I expect rivalry alright: In 1940 the Mauser Company was invited to take part in a competition to re-equip the German Army with a semi-automatic rifle, the Gewehr 41. A number of impractical requirements were specified, including that the design should not use holes drilled into the barrel to take off gas for the operating mechanism, thereby requiring mechanisms that proved unreliable. Two designs were submitted, and the Mauser version, the G 41(M), failed miserably in testing. It was canceled after a short production run. The resulting design did not see real success before it was switched to a simpler gas-operated system in the Gewehr 43. During World War II, the Mauser factory in Oberndorf was strategically bombed by the Allies, resulting in the deaths of 26 workers and the destruction of the company's power plant. French forces entered Oberndorf (which they subsequently occupied for some time) on 20 April 1945 when the town's mayor and planning committee surrendered without any resistance; no blood was shed there on that day. After the war in Europe, the factory was briefly put back in order to produce weapons for the now under-equipped and exhausted French military. The plant was dismantled by the occupying forces for the purpose of war reparations, most factory buildings (approximately 60% in total) were demolished and the records destroyed on orders of the local French Army commander. We've seen the Gewehr 43, have we not? (I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it was a weapon). That's not it, though. The Allies bombed the facility. What countries were in the Allies again? That relate to our storyline maybe? Hmm, the USA. Tank Dempsey and Peter could've been a part of this. But wait, the Soviet Union is also in the allies. Yep, Nikolai might've helped. The only one left out is Takeo, but I'm sure the Germans would've sent an allied country in for backup. Anyways, what if they forgot about meeting Maxis/Richtofen for the first time here? It might not have been actually meeting them face-to-face, but perhaps they saw them here? Maybe we have to kill Richtofen/Maxis back in time to fix everything? Also, France relates to this. Perhaps our 4th playable character on this map would be the French General, and the O3 would work with him? I wonder why those records were destroyed though... Perhaps they found something that the Germans didn't... The only M1916 thing I found on the page was this: Spanish M1916 rifle: The M1916 rifle was introduced in 1916. It was a shortened version of the M1893 rifle with a straight stock chambered in 7mm Mauser. Some were later re-barreled to use the 7.62×51mm NATO round. Many were also converted into FR7 rifles for military training and Guardia Civil use. There is a common misconception that Spanish 1916 Mausers were chambered for 7.62×51mm CETME, a common round in use by the Spanish military; however, the M1916 was actually chambered for 7.62mm NATO. But yeah, this is what I found, hopefully it helps you guys!

This is nice! Do you think you can maybe make a written version as well?
