Gaming routines, rituals, and superstitions
Speedo Cola replied to Mr. Jay's topic in General Zombies Discussion
1. I gotta have a tiny screen: Growing up on a tiny TV, I just can't play good on a big one. I have no idea why. 2. Jumping Makes You Faster: Doesn't matter what game it is, I'm gonna be jumpin' like nonstop lol. It just feels right 3. Favorite Controller: I like damaged controllers better as well. My favorite one to use, it's analog things are actually gone, so it's just the sticks lol. I play incredibly good with it, however. 4. No Mic On Solo: I don't like being in parties when I'm playing alone, it just annoys me for some reason... 5. 1 sock on, 1 sock off: If I'm going to wear a sock, it'll be just one. One of them suckers is going off. 6. I won't text you back: Sorry, but I ain't dying for anyone -

Your Feelings About The Future Of Zombies.
Speedo Cola replied to Matuzz's topic in Research & Development
I think they should add more doors like someone said earlier, and I think they should make it more like BO1 in the sense of secrets. You know, more mini EE's and radios, something like Der Riese or Moon. I also like the scarier scenery and more interesting scenery from BO1 as well. The wonder weapons intrigued me and traps were awesome, too. However, I don't want a complete transition back. I liked a lot of what BO2 had to offer, such as Solo Leaderboards and buildables. But I want to have less of a reliance needed on buildables. They're good to use, but when you have to have them to do good, it gets really annoying. Also, I liked the innovation behind the RGM2, making a second version of a weapon. I'd like to see more of that on the next installment. What really intrigued me, however, was the Blundergat. I'd love to see other ways to upgrade weapons again, such as the acid kit from MOTD. I also enjoyed the hidden weapons from that map, more of that please. NTZ (may have been my idea btw) was awesome, I'd love to see more crossovers, such as Hijacked or Plaza. Some maps like that are fun to take a break from the story. The EE's were boring in my opinion, and the story should've been more in-deph. I liked being able to travel/teleport to new areas of the map, and the enemies were great. Grief brought fun with it's twist, while Turned sorta failed. I liked the idea behind extra modes, however. I'd like to see some new ones with dedicated, special maps. I'd also like for there to be a way to play 2/3 player games with your friends and it still count, and if someone leaves for rounds to still keep recording (give those who leave round in which they left.) Theater was great, I'd like to be able to stream or record more with next-gen advanced features. I'd also like to have maps get cut into pieces for survival again, it made it fun for practicing in smaller areas, and was fun for shorter games. I want vehicles to return as well. Now that Eminem is in a partnership with Call Of Duty, I'd like to see them make use of his talent with EE songs. He's a lyrical genius, for heavens sake! So there's no telling what subliminal messages he could write up for zombies, plus his music is typically pumping. I still want some rock music, though, and that Johnny Cash track was great! Maybe they could throw in another Skrillex track as well. Perks were alright, hopefully they get more creative in the next release though. I hope they put my dream in: pro-perks. They'd need to make them insanely expensive though, and only purchaseable after like Round 55. I could imagine going up to a machine and getting a needle to inject the pro perk into you. It'd be great. I also liked the bank and weapon locker, please bring them back unchanged. They're fine as they are. I like the PAP functionality they added, and I'd like to be able to continue upgrading weapons after the first PAP by using other means like the acid kit (only to make stronger, keep attachment functionality on PAP machine.) I also want a couple new powerups, and the skinning thing was awesome! I want more of that, as well as skin packs (Imagine it Treyarch, its a win-win situation! You make loads of money, and we get something we love!) Maps with their own PAP camo was awesome too, I'd love a random camo machine to waste cash on to make my gun look good. I also want to see challenges and digging come back. Perma-perks were awesome, please keep doing that. I also want more maps, without sacrificing the quality of them. Perhaps 2 per DLC, one storyline related, and one not? Idk. I also want more traps, that are upgradeable again. I also want to start off playing as at least one of the O4 if not all, however, I want to return to the N4, and see Weasel again. Maybe even the "FIVE" crew as well? Idk, but I know it'll be a good release. Since Sledgehammer recently revealed they're making the next COD game, that gives Treyarch more time to work, and they may even make a new engine in that time! Who knows?! I hope it's a zombies-only game though. That'd be awesome. Sent from my WunderWaffe using Maxis Wireless © -
Happened to me before. I've also got one where everything was really bright, like there was tons of bright green and purple on the BO2 maps for me once.

Does Marlton Make Buildables Stronger?
Speedo Cola replied to ZaquiriDaquiri's topic in General Zombies Discussion
If Marlton was gonna have this ability, then why wouldn't the other characters get any? Just imagine it: Misty's Boobs of Bra-Tection: Player has to get hit 1 extra time to go down -
Thinkin' bout playing some #DieRise. Anyone up?

Single Player Zombies...worth It?
Speedo Cola replied to AlphaOmega's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Honestly, I like both. I probably played Solo most of the time, but that's because I had more freedom setting up and such, so it was much more easier and I liked seeing how far I could go. That being said, I also spent TONS of time playing with my friends and Randoms. I like co-op for discovering things together, doing EE's together, going for high rounds when we all were specialized for something (ie. Medic, Main Killer, WW guy, distraction), or just to screw around. Honestly, I think Treyarch delivered a lot for both modes, which I hope to see again. However, I do wish Custom Games played on Original with all the same settings could get you Round Records. Because 2-man matches were hard as freak to form unless you wanted to sound like a jerk and ask people to leave. Sent from my LG-VS410PP using Tapatalk 2 -
My main ideas were on another forum, when I was good at that sorta thing lol. My main accomplishment would be Nuketown Zombies. I know no one is going to believe me of course, but I can try to find a link so I can show you guys. Anyways, on this forum I was listing a bunch of zombies maps ideas, and NTZ was on there. My idea was slightly different tho. I wanted two teams of two to start in the backyard of each house, but I guess they couldn't rip me off completely lol. I have others from that site, but I don't wanna go looking for them all, since it's from way back in the past lol

Did "Origins" end zombies for Black ops 2 well or not? No. The map was too centered around the EE, and it really lacked replayability in my opinion. I liked the return of the O4, and the staffs and such were pretty cool, but overall, it was too difficult/annoying at times to really wanna play it a lot. The story ending could be taken either way though. In a way, I didn't like it cause it changed how things were originally. However, if they take that ending and apply it a certain way, things could get really interesting. I believe the best best for this ending would probably be something to do with MMX's theory on it. That's what I'd like it to mean. Will you be looking forward to more storyline or gameplay? Really both. If I had to choose, gameplay. That's only because of the Origins ending though. If it wasn't for that, I'd choose storyline. However, the ending made it where anything could happen, so now I'm not as anxious as before to see what exactly happens. However, I would hate it if they completely abandoned using a story-line on the next map. It's really a hard decision to make. Has Treyarch made good on keeping to the fans and still giving a good experience? Yes. I can see they still care about the franchise, and they definitely gave me some good memories with the maps. While I believe they could've done maybe a little more storyline-wise this go-round, they still kept me satisfied, and the gameplay was amazing. The Rank System sucked, however. What was the worst DLC? Apocalypse. I just didn't want replay it much. The map was amazing, don't get me wrong, but it was too annoying to wanna play it over and over and have to do all these certain things to succeed. It felt like it was too focused on the EE, and so the actual gameplay was neglected. That's just my opinion though. What was the best DLC? Probably Revolution. I absolutely loved Die Rise, and the Peacekeeper was amazing. Not to mention the (pre-patch of course) Sliquifier, and the Zombies introduction of the AN-94 (AKA My Baby). A (very close) runner-up would have to be Vengeance, however. I loved Buried and the Mark 2 as well, and it came with a Grief and Turned map as a bonus! Plus the WW could be used as a jetpack, and we had portable time machines! But Die Rise is still my favorite BO2 map. How did the VAs and Music do? VA's did great. The Music was alright, however, as a rap fan, I wanted a little bit of that. Because "Won't Back Down" helped me so much on FIVE. The music was still great though. I liked "Imma Try It Out" by Skrillex on Tranzit, before it was removed of course. I hated Die Rise's song. MOTD was awesome with their selection, and Origins was alright. Hopefully next time Eminem will make a track (just for zombies) on the next game. It sucks that he is instead working with Infinity Ward right now, but hey, maybe he will make an Extinction song! (That'd actually be pretty interesting) And then, he'll be even closer to Activision, and we have our chance lol. I know most of you probably wouldn't like it though because it's rap, but you can't deny that he has insane lyrical abilities. And if he used those powers to write about zombies, there's no telling how many subliminal messages he can hide in there for all you song decipherers, as well as make an amazing song. Again, that's just coming from my rap-loving point-of-view though. What was the most innovative thing you have seen to freshen up zombies? Probably perma-perks. They were so useful, and created so many (while fake, they were interesting) community urban legends. My favorite was the one that let you keep your perks when downed. QR would be next. Overall, I believe that this is helping to pave the way for pro-perks (which I believe if implemented, should only be available after like Round 60 or 70 or so) by adding abilities to our normal perks. Anyways, I can't wait till next season, and these are my thoughts on the ending!

I usually hate forum layout changes, but this is one I love. Good job staff!

Perhaps the charachters are ones you hear on a radio on Die Rise or something? Idk, the scenery looked different, but the colors reminded me of it so Idk

Your most memorable moment of black ops 2
Speedo Cola replied to TheBSZombie's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Mine was when I was screwing around with some friends who suck at zombies lol. We got on Bus Depot, turned headshots only, dogs on, started round 10, and hit up that box like CRAZY! We all had monkeys, and instead of using them correctly, we'd throw 'em when there was like no zombies, and gather around it and scream "MONKEY PARTY!" We had so many downs as well. Just one of those times where I wasn't so serious, and just having fun. Runnerups: 1. The Buried EE- Was one of the first people to do it, (we kept checking the internet for steps, spent about 7 hours in 1 game, mostly walking around lol) but had rejoined in the match, so while I did get the achievement, no in-game progress counted. Did it again, and it screwed up as well. Finally, it clicked on my third try. 2. A Buried Grief Game- I was winning, even though I had a teammate with over 200 downs in about 15 rounds. And they were legit downs as well. My internet cut off right before I won, however. -
DLC Packs Named - First Letter of each Pack Spells "ODIN"

Played about 4 games on Solo so far. I really like it, it kinda reminds me of Halo and Zombies. But it is still very different. I don't know how to have a secondary weapon other than the pistol though. It's still pretty fun tho

The Unwritten Rules Of Zombies(Voting Open)
Speedo Cola replied to Boom115's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I don't agree with this one. Even if their mic went out, or they don't posses one, it'd be better for them to at least hear other player's commands than no communication at all... -
Just heard today, and I was deeply saddened by it. His videos got me into zombies, and custom zombies even though I never played Custom Zombies on my personal computer. I heard of a petition going around to make him a NPC in Borderlands for his videos he did on that game, and I like Murder's idea as well. It would be awesome if Treyarch would release his favourite custom map on BO2 or something as a tiny DLC. I'm gonna miss him, and I hope anyone involved's family and friends will heal in this sad moment of life.

Call of Duty Zombie Mcfarlane Figures
Speedo Cola replied to AlphaSnake's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I love these figures! I'd have me a Richtofen, Marlton, JFK, Michael Rooker, Weasel, Nikolai, Takeo, Russman, screw it, I'd buy all lol -
so how many controlers have you went through?
Speedo Cola replied to R102609's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I've went through 2 or 3. Once, the wire was cut when it fell from behind my TV and I pulled it out. Another one was a dud from the store, and they wouldn't replace it. And one has analog sticks that are pushed in. I'm thinking about buying new sticks and installing them, or pulling mine out and putting them back in. -
Hey Treyarch... Wheres my check lol
Speedo Cola replied to Dub Zee's topic in General Zombies Discussion
On an old forum, I had a TON of ideas they took from me. Especially NTZ. The only difference was in my plan, I wanted two teams of two to start in the backyard of each house, like Vorukkt in a sense. But when I came here, I had already begun to take on the horrible case of Writer's Block that I still have today. The funniest part of them using my ideas is that some of the staff followed me on Twitter like right after they announced NTZ Also, I had some plans for a Staff WW, and Tombstone. I could compile a list of my old ideas that came in the game, but that'd be douche-ish. -
*POLL* BLOPS II Wrap Up: Persistent Upgrades
Speedo Cola replied to AlphaOmega's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Tombstone's my first favourite. It was SOOOOO useful for High Rounds on Buried. Quick Revive is second. I just love reviving people on Zombies, so it makes that even easier. -
